It is the 13 days of Halloween have begun. The night so dark you tremble in fear of what lurks beyond it. Taking out a match to light the lantern I carry in the basket that hangs on my arm. A cold layer of thick fog glazes the lake I walk near. The air was growing colder and colder as the night skies get darker.
"What you worried about?" I mutter to myself.
"Cause your my dinner." a voice growls behind me.
I squeal and try to run for it. It's claws sink into my cloak and draws me back. I slip off my cloak and drop my basket. Running for dear life I take a brief moment in my mind and I ask the celestial king for help.
"Oh, great King of the stars. Ruler of the Zodiac and Lord of constellations. Please let me get to safety." I continue to run. Its' footsteps growing heavier and louder. My heart drowns out the sound.
"Lucy Heartfilia, you will be mine." His voice trails off. After running towards the town lights, she reaches the bridge and the voice and its owner are no longer behind her.
She slows her breathing down enough to calm herself. She walks deeper into the town and feels relief take over her until she reaches home. Her cold empty house of 2 bedrooms is uninhabited. After a nice dinner she retires to her bedroom. A strong wind pushes the branch of the tree against her window. A tall dark shadow crouching on it. She turns her head in fear. A creak of her window lets her know that her fear has been realized, someone else was in her house.
The creature creeps closer to Lucy. With every step it takes, Lucy's heart beats faster. The beast takes its time and finally gets to her bedside. She covers her head with the blankets, only to have them ripped off of her. she curls up in fear of what is to come.
His cold claws grab her delicate skin, the creature takes the blonde girl into his arms and jumps outt the window back to the tree where he stood moments before. His grasp on her tightens and then the run began. She wanted to scream but couldn't. Her mouth wouldn't open at her command. The beast runs at the speed of light, until he comes up to a building on the outskirts of town. She recognizes this building a little. The old beaten doors and the broken windows, not to mention a couple of other things she didn't see when she was their before.
"Lucy Heartfilia, I said you'd be mine." his growl snaps her out of her gaze.
"Who-who are you?" she whispers.
"Luce, c'mon it's no fun if you're scared like this. It was all Mira's idea that I do this." he uses his normal voice.
"DAMN IT DRAGNEEL, I THOUGHT I WAS ACTUALLY KIDNAPPED AND POSSIBLY GOING TO DIE" she screams.
"Lucy, don't be mad, it was my idea. I put him up to it. I'm sorry if it really scared you that bad." Mir comes out from the side of the guild.
"No, stay back, all of you." she growls.
"Lucy calm-"
"No" she snarls and howls. Her blonde hair turning into fur. Her size growing 3 feet bigger, a tail comes from her lower back, black claws replace her nails. Lucy had kept this a secret.
Everyone step back in fear. Gajeel came out behind Levy who ran up to Lucy.
"Lu-chan, it's me, Levy. Calm down, please. Everyone is scared." she whispers edging closer to her.
Lucy replies with growls and snarls, preparing herself to pounce on the blue haired girl. The iron dragon leaps in front of her and stands his ground.
"What the hell do you think you're doing" Gajeel shouts at Lucy.
Her hind legs ready to pounce on him, waiting for the perfect moment, then it comes. She lands right on top of him, which caught him off guard. Ripping his throat out, she howls. Her eyes dart to who's next. Levy cries and screams, Pantherlily holds her back from running to him. He looks at her and she falls to her knees, curled up like a child. Lily takes a good look at Lucy and steps forth in his bigger form.
"So this is what you resort to, Lucy?" he points to Gajeel. "KILLING!" he snaps. "I'LL TEACH YOU A LESSON YOU'LL NEVER FORGET." shoving his sword into her lungs.
"you used to be such a good person." he whispers changing back. He steps towards Gajeel's lifeless body. He crouches down and whispers a few words. Shadows come up from beneath him and take Gajeel away.
Natsu didn't know how to react, rushing at PantherLily he tackles him. Pinning him down, Lily's tiny body slowly crushed.
"WHAT THE HELL LILY! YOU KILLED LUCY! YOU'LL PAY FOR KILLING THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!" he shouts. Aiming to punch Lily in the face, his fist comes into contact with a pale white hand.
He looks up at the owner of the hand and sees Lucy. She nods no and points back to her wolf body as it disintegrates. She mouths something. Natsu's eyes widened.
"YOU GUYS ARE ASSHOLES!" he laughs.
"It's all part of the prank." Gajeel reappears unharmed behind Lucy.
"Yeah, your face and reaction was priceless." Lucy bursts into laughter.
"Bunny girl is a genius with these pranks." Gajeel fist bumps her.
"Lu-chan is incredible when she is working hard to come up with these plans." Levy comments.
"It was hard to recreate, but I think it came out flawless." Lily stands and nods.
"You guys are still assholes." Natsu pouts.
The guild turns up into laughs.
