A/N: Septimus and Cedrella sit down for breakfast. Septimus is such a charmer (that old Weasley charm) and I'm sure he uses every moment he can to make Cedrella blush and fall for him all over again. Cedrella muses about how her life changed after meeting Septimus. They're recently married and have no children, so they're in their early twenties.

Cedrella was sitting at the breakfast table when her husband entered the kitchen of their small cottage. "Good morning, dear," she greeted happily.
"Goood morning!" he sang as he came around her chair and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Don't you look amazing with the starlight in your eyes."
She quirked an eyebrow at him as she laughed, "The stars aren't here..."
"They're always here when you're here, Cedrella," he said with a wink, causing her to blush into her teacup.
He chuckled at her expression as he took a seat across from her in front of his breakfast. He reached for the pepper shaker as he said, "You know I never waste any opportunity to use my charm on a beautiful woman. My mouth must sing your praises whenever the heart begs to have its words said."
"And yet you never know where to stop," she replied cheekily, though accepting the compliments good-naturedly.
"Do you want me to stop?" he asked as his face grew serious.
"No, no, no," Cedrella said hastily. "Please continue to write epistles about how fate has paid you good fortune to sit in my presence."
"Now look who's a bit too full of themselves," he said with a laugh as he put a forkful of egg in his mouth.
She smiled as she sat across from her husband, happy she had made such a big decision years ago.
She was Cedrella Black, of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. She was prim and proper and the perfect pureblood woman. She could have any choice of suitors to vie for her hand.
But Cedrella was not happy. She felt as if she were moving through a fog when she was Cedrella Black. Since her life was already written for her, she felt no need to write her anything of her own. She just followed the routine as was expected.
Then he came along, Septimus Weasley, with the cheeky wit and the funny charm. He actually doused her in sticky punch at a party, the ultimate faux pas of pureblood etiquette. But the accident had awakened something in Cedrella. She saw not the blunder, but someone who was free, someone who never had such tight expectations growing up. As a pureblood, he was still well-versed and learned, but he just had a brighter outlook on life. He believed that he could do as he wanted and he could write his own story. She envied him and she wanted to learn more about this freedom he spoke of.
They began speaking and slowly their interactions sparked affections which grew into love. She told her parents who were none too understanding. Cedrella was an eligible Black woman and love just didn't do in Black pureblood affairs, especially to a blood sympathizer. After a terse discussion with her family, Cedrella left her home without looking back. She was finally able to speak out against the expectations of her family.
Would she trade this life as Cedrella Weasley for the life of Cedrella Black? She gazed lovingly over at Septimus, who had a bit of egg hanging out of his mouth. She reached over with a napkin and wiped it off for him. Never.
