I think this story's pretty much done now. Yup. So I hope you enjoyed this story. I sure did enjoy writing.
Annabeth's POV
As we kissed, I couldn't help but feel content. After so much heartbreak and pain, I finally felt...loved. It was a wondrous feeling. I felt warm and secure in his arms. Although, I was enjoying kissing him, I still had to breathe. A silence enclosed between us. I finally broke the silence.
"Thank you." I said quietly.
"No. Thank you. For truly loving me." Percy answered back.
"You can sit on my bed if you want to." I said.
"No. I'm your boyfriend so I'm lying next to you." He said, getting underneath the covers with me.
I smiled internally. He called himself my boyfriend. I giggled and turned my face the other way to hide my amusement. Percy gently guided me towards him.
"You know, you're beautiful when you laugh." Percy said, leaning his forehead to mine. I blushed.
Percy reached into his pocket and pulled something out. A light flashed. I realized what he had done.
"Percy!" I scolded him.
"Look, it's my new wallpaper!" Percy said, showing me his phone.
We were cuddled up beside each other, me smiling blissfully and Percy smiling his trademark grin. My cheeks were flushed pink, and my hair was its usual curly hairstyle. Percy was his usual handsome self, with his messy jet-black hair and beautiful sea-green eyes.
Percy put his phone away and held me closer. He smoothed out my hair and rested his chin above my head.
"You're so sexy." Percy bluntly said. I blushed furiously and hit him lightly with my uninjured arm.
"What? It's true." He said, smirking, his hand travelling to my lower back.
I smacked him on the top of his head. "Stop being a pervert. Oh, and if we ever cuddle in the future, here is my guideline: think of my body as a map. Keep your hands on the equator. No going to Antarctica and no going to the polar ice caps." I said.
"Yes ma'am!" Percy said, with a mock salute.
"And...you're wearing underwear...right?" Percy asked.
"Of course I am." I said skeptically.
Percy sighed in relief. We laid there for a few more minutes. Percy untangled himself from my body and the mess of sheets.
"I'm gonna go get lunch for us. Don't worry, alright?" He said.
"Okay." I replied.
"I'll be back in a few." He said, pecking my lips gently.
As he left, I smiled to myself. 'The pain was worth it.' I thought to myself.
