CHAPTER 6

The day is finally over and I was practically jumping on my feet to get out of here. But my plan of escape was a failure as my best friends ambushed me.

"Care we know something is going on with you why don't you want to tell us?" Elena asked

"Is it because you do not trust us any longer? Don't forget we are your best friends and we are here for you". Bonnie said

Guys listen you are getting this all wrong. I am a little under the weather it's nothing for you guys to freak out about. Remember I tell you guys everything. I am just not ready to talk about what is going on right now. Can you guys please give me some time to figure this out then we can all talk?

They both nodded although they seemed to want to say something further they understood that I needed some time.

"Ok we won't push you to talk any longer but remember you owe us an explanation, and do not forget its Friday so we expect to see you at the grill this evening.

Thanks guys and I'll see you there. Caroline said sounding unsure as she really did not want to go out tonight. She just wanted to lie in her bed and think about how she is going to move on from all this.

Later that evening

Caroline walked inside the grill and suddenly she had this thrilling feeling of being watched. She spotted her friends who were already sitting at the bar and she walked up to them. They all ordered for a burger and fries as well as drinks to go with it. Bonnie started telling them about how she can light a whole room just with a thought.

They were all excited about the prospect Elena wondered if she had any special qualities like that, and Caroline even though slightly jealous and thought she did not have anything special to contribute to the group was really happy for her friend. Bonnie is a witch and everybody like Elena, Caroline feel like she is the third wheel in their friendship.

While still in her thoughts, someone walk up to their table. And started flirting with Elena. Caroline didn't think much of it because Elena is everybody's first choice. So she didn't pay much attention to the person, but that was until she heard the voice. That voice that has been in her night mares, it was a voice she couldn't forget no matter how much she tried
