Barry Allen left Starling City Prison on a mission. His father always knew what to do. He was wise and smarter than Barry would ever be. He didn't pretend to know what Barry was going through, but he knew who could help his son. So Barry took the first cab that would stop for him and headed to the place his father told him.

He was headed to the StarLab. Cisco owed him a favor and as much as Barry hated to cash in on favors, he liked favors to just a gesture of kindness- he didn't have a choice right now, he had to find out what was going on with his body.
"Just don't be too long okay? If Caitlin see's you she'll barge right in, you know what she's like." Cisco said, unlocking to doors to the warehouse.
"I'll be out in a flash," Barry said, stepping inside as Cisco gave him a cautious look. "I'll leave the key's under the fire extinguisher."
Barry walked through the warehouse, unlocking the giant cage full of equipment and started to search. For a team of scientists, they had no practical way of organizing anything. Barry sighed and moved further down the isle when the lights went out. He cursed under his breath, it was probably a sign from Cisco telling him to hurry up- but what did he expect when nothing in this damn cage was in order?
Barry pulled out his phone and was just about to turn on the flashlight when he heard a noise. He put the phone back in his pocket and waited, maybe Caitlin was early.
"I don't care what you have to do," Barry heard a bold Australian accent moving his way, "do you know why I chose you?"
A tall and broad shadow was moving closer and closer and now Barry knew something was definitely wrong. He knew everyone that was allowed in the warehouse and this man wasn't one of them. Unless Cisco owed more favors.
"Find out where he does his dirty work or disappear." The man said and Barry's jaw dropped. "If I see you and you don't have what I need, I'll make sure you'll disappear for good."
Barry heard the sound of metal snapping and looked up. For a split second he wondered why the man didn't use the cage door, seeing that it was open- but for the most part, Barry wondered how it was possible to break such thick metal with human hands and in that moment Barry knew that this man was after the same piece of equipment that he was.

Oliver Queen was walking to his motorbike when he dialed Dig's number. Isobel Rochev had grown increasingly annoying and stubborn throughout the morning and just as Oliver was about to burst she left for a meeting with some possible investors.
"Dig," Oliver sat on his bike and plugged in his earpiece, "How is she?"
"Who?" Dig asked as Oliver rolled his eyes and put on his helmet.
"The blonde girl that you've been looking after all day." He kicked his bike into gear and headed for the road.
"What? You said you didn't need me to." Dig said and Oliver glared at the road.
"No, I didn't." Oliver said, "Are you telling me that Felicity's been at her apartment by herself all day?"
"You sent me a text message." Briefly Oliver wondered if Felicity had hacked into his phone and sent the message as him. "Maybe she didn't want me there," Dig said like he'd read Oliver's mind. "She's a girl, man, she needs some space."

"I don't think Felicity sent it." Oliver said, remembering that Barry was into his computers too. He wasn't as good at IT as Felicity but he knew Barry could hack. "Meet me at Felicity's apartment, bring your tranquilizer."
He hung up the phone and sped down the back streets of Starling City, he could be at her apartment in less than ten minutes if he hurried.

"What did he need me to do?" Felicity asked Isobel as they walked through the lobby of The Grand Pier Hotel.
"One of our investors has some equipment he needs to work, it's more of a we scratch their back, they invest, type arrangement." Isobel said, stepping into the elevator as Felicity followed.
"Who is the investor?" Felicity asked as the doors closed.

"No one that you'd know." Isobel sighed and looked at her watch, the doors dinged open, "Hurry up, we don't have time to chit chat."
Felicity waited until she was behind Isobel to roll her eyes. Was it so hard to be kind? Small talk wasn't hard, even if it was about business.
"Walk faster." Isobel quipped, power walking towards the door and knocking on it with two taps of her hand. Felicity could hear footsteps on the other side of the door and a second later it opened.

"Miss Rochev, Miss Smoak," Said the tall bald man, "Thank you for coming on such short notice."

"It's the least we can do, Mr. Highland." Isobel said, stepping inside as Felicity followed. Mr. Highland had a great apartment, it took up the top floor of The Grand Pier and every surface in the room was sleek and shiny. He had a great decorator, even though the place was a little big for Felicity's style.

"Felicity, I hear you're quite the expert when it comes to IT." Mr. Highland said, leading them to what looked like a study. "Oliver has told me all about you," Felicity smiled, she knew Oliver valued her skills but she didn't know he told others about her. It was nice to get a little recognition every once in a while. "He's lucky to have you as his right hand girl by the sounds of it."

Felicity liked Mr. Highland, he was one amongst the few investors that were actually pleasant and could hold a conversation without looking at their phone or sharing looks of concern with Isobel.

"What do you need me to do?" She asked as the man took the cover from a metal box that was about as big as a printer. She had no idea what it did but it looked like some kind of medical equipment. Felicity wondered what the investor would need with that type of machine.

Mr. Highland looked to Isobel, "Oliver thinks you'll be able to get it working," he said, "it's a very important piece of equipment," he stepped around the desk and pulled at the chair for Felicity, "so please be careful with it, as far as I understand Miss Smoak, it needs to be connected to a computer to work." He told her as she started to take a closer look at the machine. "If you can get it to turn on, I'll be in your debt." He smiled at her, but something about his smile was off putting to Felicity, she didn't know why.

"It's no biggie, Mr. Highland." She said as Isobel rolled her big sarcastic eyes, "I mean, it's no problem- I deal with this kind of thing all the time." She swallowed nervously, "It shouldn't take long."

"I'll let you get started then, there's a mini-fridge in the corner full of snacks, help yourself." He stepped towards the door, "Isobel? Are you coming?"

"I just need to borrow Felicity's phone, I left mine in the car." She stepped forward with her palm out and a raised brow, "Do you mind?" She asked Felicity, "I need to let Oliver know we're here. He insists on being informed about your where abouts and mine when ever we go anywhere- honestly it's unnecessary but," she breathed out, "he's the CEO."

Felicity handed over her phone as both Isobel and Mr. Highland left the room, closing the door behind them.

"She's not here," Oliver growled, he'd practically torn apart the whole apartment looking for evidence of where she went. He knew it had something to do with Barry. He couldn't keep away from her but Oliver was going to find him and make sure his distance was permanent. "Call the prison, they would know where he's staying." He barked at Dig, "I'll meet you at the foundry." He snapped his phone shut and took one more look around the apartment.

He knew that Felicity wouldn't struggle if Barry had come back, Barry was probably watching her apartment this morning. He probably watched Oliver leave. Oliver stormed back to his motorbike and kicked it into gear. He'd tried calling Felicity half a dozen times but it just went to voicemail, back at the foundry he'd be able to track her phone if he could remember what Felicity showed him on the computer.

Barry Allen left the StarLabs, telling a disbelieving Cisco what he saw. He felt like he was explaining his mothers death again- no one would listen. He would have gone to see his father but visiting hours were over. It was too late to call and Barry paced in his hotel room nervously, wracking his brain. The man he saw in the warehouse was strong on a different level to regular humans.

Barry wondered if the man had the speed that he'd gained recently, maybe there were more people like him. He had to find out who the man was, although- he didn't seem like the type he should get involved with.

He sounded dangerous, a criminal, he'd probably kill Barry just for looking his way. But Barry didn't have any other option, so he took out his laptop and hacked the StarLabs security footage. He was going to find out what was wrong with him and it was going to happen tonight.
