Chapter 11: Enjoy the little things

(A little from last chapter: "if she calls, I do not care what you are doing, whether you are in a meeting or doing paperwork, you are to drop everything, you my son made a promise, and as an honorable demon, or word is our law. I rely with a smirk "I planned on it")

Kagome's Pov:

After the incident, I took my two best friends back home with me and Shippo, with Shippo in my arms, we happily chatted however once we got to my house it had gone quiet, turning I look at them both.

They were standing there staring wide eyed at my home, I give a small sigh and say "welcome to my home!" I finish a bit nervously they were still silent, I was starting to get worried, I was about to say something then out of nowhere, Sango yells "this is your house?!" while looking at me, I give a nervous laugh and say

"…yea…it's not what you expected is it?" Miroku till now had been silent and says "wow…it's amazing… how? Oh right" he says remembering exactly who I was. I give a sigh and say half-jokingly "what? Do you except a huge ass mansion or something?" I was joking but when I look at him and Sango, they were nodding really fast.

"Well…I say giving a slight pause then continue with "I'm not…urg…into mansions…there too big…And ...Too much hassle to clean and can't forget the house in general…it's very annoying" I finish scratching the back of my head, nervously, why I was nervous? It was beyond me.

I hear Miroku and Sango say together "oh…That makes sense" well anyways I say cutting the silence "let's go inside, and let's get you two a shower and some clean clothes" Sango had happily dream expression plastered on her face the moment I said the word 'shower' and 'Clean clothes' I giggle at my best friend.

(A/N: Kagome decided that they were going to live with her and Shippo, she called some constructions people and had them add 2 more bedrooms & bathrooms, making the house a 4 bedroom and 4 bathroom also in Sango's bathroom is an on-suite and a walk in closet- hence "surprise")

"Come on" I say again as we walked to the front door, pulling out my keys, unlocking the door I swing the door open dramatically and says "TA-DA!" Sango gasp and says "OH….MY…..GOSH! Your house is as beautiful as that guy I saw earlier!" not liking what Sango just said Miroku grumbles at that comment, either Sango heard it and was ignoring it or she did hear it and just pretended not to hear it.

I sweat drop and give a sigh, "well?" I say "oh...right" Sango and Miroku say sheepishly, walking in I head towards the new rooms I had just for them, when I didn't hear any foot steps behind me I look back raising an eye brow "Come on"

"oh right" they say but then Sango says "um….K-Sapphire, quickly correcting herself h- I cut her off smiling and saying "you can call me Kagome, since no one is here to snoop on us, and besides I have-" but Miroku cuts me off saying "didn't you say there is only two bedrooms? How are we all going to shower?

I grin and say (again) "well…if you two are done interrupting me I could tell you exactly how it is going to be" sorry they both mutter, we could all hear Shippo giggling in the background, I wave my hand motioning for them to follow, once they did I go towards a door with a tag on it that says 'Sango' opening the door dramatically (like I did with the front door) I say "ta-da! This is your own personal room Sango and it is just for you!" I chirped happily.

I look at my best friend she was in complete awe with the room, I grin and felt pride and before turning to Miroku and I say "come on" I walk to another door with Miroku in tow, walking up there is a door with his name on it I did what I did with Sango's room they both were just standing there shocked

I give a sigh and think "well…shit…how am I supposed to get them out of- hehe…" an amazing plan formed and I grinned evilly, silently creeping away to find Shippo once I found him he almost let out a loud cry of 'momma' but I quickly put my finger to my lips and I walk over and say quietly "Shippo, honey, Sango and Miroku are…to stunned to move could you do me a favor honey?"

"of course momma" I give a nod and tell my son my amazing plan, once I finished a huge devious grin forms, nodding quickly and dashing from his room, I waited for a few seconds before leaving myself, heading towards the kitchen, I start preparing, some food knowing that once they get out of being in shocked they will be hungry.

Patiently waiting it was very silent before all of sudden a loud "BOOM!" and two (yes I said two) very high-pitched screams fill the house, it was silent for about a half of a second before Shippo laughter filled the house then a very angry voice boomed (Sango's) "IM GOING TO KILL YOU!" a loud "eep! And MOMMA HELP ME!"

Grinning I call "Sango leaves Shippo alone and Miroku…you sounded like a girl when you screamed, and by the way you two better go and get washed up! I'm making a home cooked meal!" by the time I had finished my little speech Shippo has joined me and was giggling I could hear the two separate pairs of feet and the water running I give a small laugh and say to Shippo "yup that got them moving, Shippo continues to laugh remembering when his mom said the same thing to him when he first got here.

Finishing with the food, I place oden on each plate, walking I place the plates on the table, sitting down I waited for them, hearing their footsteps I look up smiling glad that my clothes fit Sango, moments later Miroku comes out and I grin before giving a nod of approval, seeing that they are feeling better and clean I motion them over we all sit and eat, joking around then I say seriously looking at my two best friends

"This calls for a cerebration!" Miroku looks at me confusingly and says "what for?" yeah Sango says agreeing. I grin and says happily "were cerebrating because…I pause looking at them, they were waiting patiently before Sango says "Becaussseee?

My grin widens and I say "because you're both going to be living with me and Shippo! I had called some construction workers to build your rooms so you can now live with me! Isn't it great?! Their mouths drop in shock I continue to grin and with that I started eating again soon conversation erupts we were all smiling and talking like a big happy family
