Okay, I'll start by saying this: Please don't kill me! I've tried my hardest to update, but I just couldn't. I know you're probably only reading this for an excuse because you really want to know where I've been. Well, that reason is… I don't have one. But, you don't want to waste your time trying to kill me when you could be reading the story! So, here you go! Thanks to my betas, if I have any… sorry, can't name them… I really don't know who's a beta and who's not anymore.

P.S. – Going to start doing different P.O.V.'s!

Disclaimer: People come on! How many times do I have to say this? I do NOT own PJO, much as I wish I did!

Annabeth's P.O.V.

I walked to Chris' cabin, contemplating on how I was going to break it to Chris. By this time, I had given up. I just didn't know if Chris would give up so easily.

I approached the Apollo cabin, but before she could knock on the door, it swung open, and low and behold, there was Chris.

"Hey, Annabeth! I was just coming to see you," Chris said, looking laid back, and I realized he had no idea whatsoever that our plan was failing… miserably.

"Um, yeah, Chris… I need to talk to you too… It's about-" I was saying when Chris cut me off.

"Oh, is it about… the thing? Come on. Let's go to the arena," Chris said as he dragged me away.

"So, what'd you want to talk about, Annabeth," he asked as soon as we were in the arena.

"Um, no. You first. What would possess you to come and talk to me at 6:30 in the morning?"

Chris blushed. He looked at his sneakers, then back at me.

"Um, I want to save mine for last. Would you please go first?"

"O-Okay. Uh, so, I went to talk to Clarisse right before I came to see you. She… She said that she loves Percy and that she… she doesn't have feelings for you. I'm so sorry!" I say quickly.

Instead of his face darkening or him getting angry, like I expected, Chris seemed unfazed. Instead, he leaned in and kissed me.

This kiss was filled with much more emotion than any other kiss Chris had given me since this plan began. I felt myself melting into it. I even felt a small spark – nothing compared to when I'd kissed Percy, but still. A fire could build from spark.

After what seemed like eons, Chris pulled away for a breath of air. I just stood there, gaping. Chris caught my look and bowed his head.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." Chris said. He quickly said goodbye and left the arena.

I went to one of the benches and sat down. I had to let this sink in. I needed to figure out what I was going to do. Clarisse was threatening me, telling me to stay away from Percy. Chris and Percy had kissed me, and then taken it back. Worst of all, I didn't know which one I liked better anymore.

Suddenly, a shadow stepped from behind one of the dummies. I jumped up, wondering who or what it could be.

"So Chris and you aren't dating? That's news to me," the person said, stepping into view. And you would never believe who I came face to face with in the arena.

"Oh. It's you," I said.

DON'T KILL ME! I up an leave for months, then come back with this little chapter… But at least it's full of twists and turns, right? Right? Ok, I can hear the crickets, thank you very much. So anyway, the time has come. It's time for you all to vote: Percabeth and Chrisse, or Chrisabeth and Clarisse/Percy? You can vote on my poll that I put up on my profile. Or for you lazy people, review your vote! Thank you, my wonderful readers. And yes. I AM BACK!
