Nayer: This took way too long.

Vexx: It was your fault…

Nayer: No! You told me you were too lazy to write like twenty times! But you weren't lazy enough to write that chapter for that other story!

Vexx: Which one?
Spectis: I think she means that one with XcesarulesX.

Vexx: Oh… Well I was feeling special that day.

Nayer: Well this chapter won't be much because someone hasn't gotten us to Warfang yet… *Looks at Streak*

Streak: I ummm have to go… I hear someone calling me. *Scurries away*

Spectis and Nayer were in a small Cafe somewhere in the underground town, talking with each other.

"And this friend of yours, Vexx, is acting strange?" Spectis asked.

"Yes." Nayer confirmed.

"Do you know why?" Spectis asked.

"I wish I did." Nayer replied sadly. "He won't tell me."

"This is odd." Spectis said as he looked away from Nayer.

"He was fine up until he say that corpse of that hatchling." Nayer replied, shuddering at the memory.

Spectis then whipped his head at Nayer, "Repeat what you just said!"

Nayer jumped a bit from shock, "After he saw a body of a dead hatchling, he freaked out and ran off."

"I need you to tell me what has happened to him in the last few days that may have been very hard on him." Spectis replied.

"Well, we had to run away from our cave, because it was overran by Grublins. I almost died, and he almost died from poison. The weird part is that he was healed from the poison magically a few days ago." Nayer told Spectis while she was looking at the ground.

"Healed you say, randomly, with no explanation?" Spectis asked.

"Yes, he claimed it was something that Maple gave him, but even when he was telling us he seemed a bit nervous, and even Maple was confused. The stuff she gave him was a pain killer." Nayer replied.

"Anything else?" Spectis asked as he starting to eat some deer that was given to him before.

"Yes, sometime after he was healed the dead hatchling showed up." Nayer said in a confident voice.

Spectis nearly choked on his food when he heard Nayer say that, "What!?"

Nayer recoiled back in surprise again, "What's wrong?"

Spectis stood up, "You need to come with me now, we can not discuss this in here."

"Where are we going?" Nayer asked as her and Spectis walked out of the Cafe.

"To my place, like I said we can't discuss this here."

"Oh." Nayer replied as she walked stride by stride with Spectis.

Once they arrived in the room, Spectis shut the door and locked it. "I think I know what's wrong with your friend."

"What? Tell me!" Nayer said eagerly.

"Not too loud!" Spectis hissed quietly.

"Sorry." Nayer whispered.

"Ok, so I have reason to believe that your friend has been visited by a Nomical." Spectis said.

"A what?" Nayer asked.

Spectis lied down, "A Nomical is an evil spirit that seeks to control the body of someone who gains its trust, it also makes itself look like the older version of the dragon it is trying to possess."

"How do you know that this is happening?" Nayer asked.

Spectis just gave her an emotionless stare, "I have my ways."

Nayer was a bit surprised from his change of demeanor but decided it was not best to anger the dragon, "How can we stop this, Nomical?"

"We have to wait for it to take control of its victim, then we strike it."

"Like kill its host?" Nayer ask, afraid.

Spectis didn't respond for a moment, "No, the host will be fine."

Nayer sighed with relief, "That's good to hear."

"We need to keep your friend under close watch until we can get rid of that demon, and don't tell anyone without asking me first." Spectis replied.

"Alright, that will be quite easy." Nayer said confidently.

"If you say so." Spectis chuckled.

"Why don't we go find a friend of mine," Nayer said, "he can help us."

"What is this friend's name?"

"His name is Streak."

Nayer: Hopefully Streak will take the hint to add Nayer and Spectis to his next chapter.

Spectis: Yeah!

Vexx: Good luck with that…

Nayer: Oh be quiet you.

Vexx: Yes ma'am.

And if we never told you. Spectis belongs to Vyoquo Baleful-Tail not me.
