A/N: It's been 5 months perhaps? Anyway, I'm really into K now and can't stop thinking of the new K movie! And game of course.
I've made a new fic about K. It's called Colors of The Sky. A story about Hikari (the AU one) is the sister of Kusuhara Takeru (the main character from K: side blue) it follows the story of K from LSW to the anime. There's no romance, I think... Please check it out and tell me what you think about it :)

Day 3
Scepter 4
"Scepter…4?" Hikari repeated with a confused tone.
Anna nodded her head.
The keyblade wielder sighed, scratching the back of her head. "Well at least I know where he is…" She said to herself, looking out the window behind Mikoto's head. The warm sunlight illuminated the room. She switched her gaze to stare at the white-haired girl. "Thank you, Anna-san." She said, smiling as she patted Anna's head lightly.
Mikoto stared at the brunette. "…aren't you going to get him?" he asked, a bored look on his face.
Hikari turned to look at the Red King, "Yeah, but after I find some place to eat." She grinned, giving the Kinga thumbs up. As if on cue, her stomach growled. The growl echoed inside the bar. A few members of HOMRA chuckled at her and she gave a sheepish grin, scratching the back of her head. "Hehe… Know any good place to eat?" she asked.
Kusanagi chuckled. "Actually, Hikari-san, we were just going to eat lunch here. Would you like to join us?" he offered with a friendly smile.
The brunette's eyes instantly brightened. "Really? I can?" She asked childishly like a little child asking for candy. The Bartender turned his head to the King who shrugged. Kusanagi let out a short laugh before nodding his head at the keyblade wielder, telling her that she can eat with them. "Thank you so much,Kusanagi-san!" she beamed happily.
Yata clicked his tongue in annoyance and turned his face away. hiding his blush. He just can't believe that Kusanagi invited this girl to lunch! To add things up, the King just let him! She isn't a HOMRA member. She isn't a friend. She's a complete outsider! The skateboarder looked away from the girl. Even though he usually acts nervous and stutters like an idiot around girls, he didn't when he was talking to this outsider. He shook his head, shaking the thoughts away. It was probably because the girl looked more like a guy.
He kept the scowl on his face and refused to make eye contact with Hikari. He angrily grabbed the spoon beside his plate and dug into the curry, taking a spoonful to his mouth. The skateboarder chewed his food noisily and swallowed thickly. As he took another spoon to his mouth, he felt pain shot right through from his veins.
"What the hell?!" Yata chocked and spitted the curry out. He turned to face the brunette who apparently sat beside him. She freaking poked his wound with a spoon! "Oi! What was that about?! It f*cking hurt!" he shouted angrily, shaking his fist threateningly at the girl.
Hikari raised an eyebrow, staring at the beanie boy. "Oh, sorry… I'm just curious. It's just that Xal—I mean the Organization doesn't really attack other people like you. They usually work in secret." she said truthfully and Yata sat back down, scowling at her.
"Someone has done her research." Kusanagi smirked.
The keyblade wielder panicked a little. She gave a really awkward and nervous laugh. "Ha ha ha, yeah… when you spend a little too much time with Riku… you get to know a lot." She lied as her left eye twitched a few times. The others nodded, understanding the girl. Hikari stirred her spoon in the plate, mixing the curry and the rice together. "…it's been awhile since I can eat like this." she whispered, a small smile curling up to her lips.
Shouhei stopped eating. He seemed to hear the girl's whisper. "Eh? What do you mean by that, Hikari-san?" he asked, turning his head to look at the brunette.
Hikari let out a small sigh. "What I mean is…It's been a while since I can eat in a group like this. It was usually just me." she said sadly, resting her chin on her palm. Her eyes stared at her food with a small frown. It was true, due to the keyblade wielders have to travel separate ways to lock more keyholes, they rarely see each other. "…I never thought that I could actually eat like this ever again. It's really nice." She commented with a short laugh.
"Hikari-san…" Kamamoto began, staring at thekeyblade wielder with sympathy. "What about Riku-san and your brother? They're always with you right?"
Hikari sighed heavily. "Well, yeah, but they both are always busy with part-time jobs and school." She answered with a frown. That was a total lie. They weren't busy with part-time jobs and school. They were busy with sealing other worlds' keyholes and stopping the Darkness from spreading. "And a week ago, Sora's been kidnapped by the Organization. That makes Riku spend less time with me. He's always so obsessed with getting something done. I'm just scared that he might go overboard…again." she mumbled the last part.
Yata stared at Hikari in disbelief. "That's a tough life…" he said out loud.
Hikari rolled her eyes, "You have no idea…" she let out a sigh before eating. Her blue eyes averted to the bandaged wound on Yata's shoulder. "Does it still hurt?"
"Hah?" Yata raised an eyebrow and followed her gaze to his shoulder. The chestnut-haired teen placed a hand on his shoulder and clicked his tongue. He turned his face away from the brunette, finally realizing he was talking to a girl. "Th-That's none of your damn concern!" he spat with a flustered face.
Chitose shook his head. "Don't mind him, he's always like that when around girls." He said and winked at the brunette who chose to ignore it. The playboy earned a good whack to the forehead by a spoon from the Vanguard. He fell backwards to the floor. "And he's always like that when around us." he added with a grumble, rubbing his forehead.
"Shut up, you idiot!" Yata screamed, slamming his hand to the counter.
Hikari stared at the skateboarder with a sweat-drop. One second this guy was stuttering like an idiot and the next he was fighting with his friend. "…You remind me of someone I know." she said out loud to the skateboarder. Yata turned to face the brunette who kept on a thinking look and finally, she grinned at him. "That's right! You remind me of Donald Duck!" she exclaimed.
"Donald…Duck?" Yata repeated, blinking his eyes as an image of Donald Duck popped right into his head. The others around him began to laugh—excluding Mikoto and Anna. He balled up his hand into a tight fist and gave a knock to the top of Hikari's head. "W-Why him?!" he yelled, glaring at the girl with red cheeks.
"AW! It's because you're so short-tempered and you're short!" Hikari complained, rubbing the spot where Yata had hit her.
"Why you little—!"
Anna stared at the two teens began to wrestle. She tilted her head when Yata puts Hikari in a headlock, strangling the brunette playfully. She placed her spoon on the plate and grabbed the red marble from inside her pocket. The white-haired girl brought her marble to her eye-level, peering through it. She stared at the aura with awe. Yata's was red and Hikari's was a glowing white.
The young Strain never knew that a White Clan exists."Pretty…" she whispered, referring to the teen's auras. She glanced at the other HOMRA members, looking at their red Aura. Everyone has the same color—all except the King and the mysterious girl. Mikoto's aura—as Anna said—was a pretty red color, different than the rest of HOMRA's members.
Mikoto caught Anna staring at him through her marble. He let out a sigh and the small girl looked away, averting her attention back to Yata and Hikari. "What do you see?" he suddenly asked.
"White." Anna answered shortly, her right eye still looking through the red marble. "It's warm like the light."
Kusanagi smiled at the young girl. "White? That's an unusual aura." He leaned his elbows on the counter, resting his chin on his knuckle. "I didn't know there's a White King. Do you, Mikoto?" the bartender asked.
The Red King grunted and closed his eyes. He shrugged his shoulders and continued eating. "…who cares?"
Totsuka laughed, "As expected from the King."
Lunch went by with Yata's and Hikari's yelling, both teens threw insults at each other, making it impossible for the others to enjoy their meal. Eventually Kusanagi scolded them and smacked them both upside their head. They both let out an 'it hurt!' when the bartender hit them at the same time, since it was easy for him because their height matches.
"Thank you for inviting me for lunch, Kusanagi-san." Hikari bowed her head respectfully and faced the man with a huge goofy grin. She strapped the keyblade on her back and tucked her hands inside her pants' pockets. "But I have to pick Riku up from Scepter 4. So… thanks for having me around." She turned around, walking straight to the door.
"Wait," Anna said quietly, grabbing the hem of Hikari's white jacket. The brunette looked over her shoulder, finding the young Strain standing right behind her. She blinked her eyes before turning fully around, her back facing the door. She waited patiently for the young Strain to speak. "…Don't die, okay?" she looked up, holding up a red marble in front of her eye.
"A-Anna!" Kusanagi began, startled by Anna's words.
Hikari let out a short laugh. "It's okay Kusanagi-san." She kneeled down to one knee to Anna's eye level. "Heh, I don't die that easily, Anna-san." The keyblade wielder placed her hand over the white-haired girl's head, patting her lightly. She flashed the young girl a huge grin before standing up, the grin never leaving her face. "In fact, I'm too stubborn to die this early!" she winked, giving a peace sign.
Anna stayed silent, her face saddened and a frown was seen on her round face.
The keyblade wielder's eyes softened. Anna somehow reminded her of Namine when she was younger. Quiet, timid, and worries a lot over her friends. If the brunette remembers correctly, Namine refused to let her go on an adventure around the island alone. "How about I give you some magic?"
Anna lifted her face to stare at the brunette with a questioning look.
"…Magic?" the white-haired girl repeated, eyes gleaming with curiosity and excitement.
Yata clicked his tongue, "Tch… It's probably just some lame trick—," He earned a jab to his ribs by the one and only Kusanagi. The Vanguard held his rib in pain, glaring at the bartender before staring at the two girls with glaring eyes. Everyone's eyes seemed to be glued on Anna and Hikari, curious on what Hikari meant by 'Magic'.
Hikari nodded her head. "Yup! Magic!" She reached her hand to her pouch, taking something out. It was a blue round-shaped crystal—larger than the one Anna was holding between her fingers. The keyblade wielder grabbed Anna's tiny hand and placed the blue crystal on her palm. "This crystal is…special. It was once a trophy's decoration. I got it from Sora… and I think that this crystal will be more of a use to you than to me. I just peered through it at the setting sun and nothing else." she explained, staring at the blue crystal.
Anna stared at the blue crystal on her palms. She held the blue crystal to her right eye, staring right through it. "…thank you…" she whispered with a blush.
Hikari grinned and patted Anna's head.
"See? That's not magic—," Yata earned another good jab to his ribs from Kusanagi. He groaned in pain and glared at the bartender standing beside him. The chestnut-haired teen quickly took a few side-steps away from the blond, afraid that another jab would be delivered to him. He shot Kamamoto a dirty look. "What are you smiling at, fatty?" he spat angrily.
Kamamoto jumped a little. "W-Well…" He stared at Yata for a moment before sighing. His eyes softened at the sight of Anna. "I-It's just been awhile since Anna has ever got this close to another girl, other than Honami-san." The tanned-skin man replied with a smile.
"Oh! That's true!" Totsuka beamed and quickly grabbed his camera. He pointed the lens to Anna and Hikari, preparing to record the next event. "March 12, 12:40. A bright and sunny day, we met a girl and her friend earlier here. Their names are Hikari and Riku. They both saved Anna-chan and I from one of Organization XIII's members. Now, Hikari-chan is giving something to Anna-chan." He narrated with a smile plastered upon his lips.
Hikari placed her hand over Anna's hand, the one she used to hold the blue crystal. "Now for the best part," The keyblade wielder said before the blue crystal started to glow, radiating a bright blue light.
The crystal began to form a beautiful swirl of blue around the HOMRA bar, shocking every member. They stare at the swirls with wide eyes, amazed. Mikoto only stared apathetically when one of the swirls went in front of his face. Anna started at the crystal and then to Hikari—who only smiled. The swirls went back to the blue crystal and Anna blinked her eyes when the light finally reduces.
The keyblade wielder stood up and ruffled Anna's hair. "You don't have to worry now, Anna-san." She said with her signature grin. "I learn it from a friend, if the nosy Organization XIII ever bothers you, that crystal will protect you… at least until I get there." she shrugged her shoulders.
Yata's left eye twitched, "WITCHCRAFT!" he yelled accusingly at the brunette with his finger pointed.
The corner of Hikari's lips twitched upwards. "I'M NOT A WITCH!"
Totsuka smiled and filmed Yata and Hikari. "March 12, 12:43… Hikari's been accused a witch by Yata…"
Anna stared at the blue crystal on her palm. It was amazing. It was amazing that she could see another color. Blue. The color of the crystal was blue, not red. Even though it was only for a few seconds, she could see another color without her marbles. She held the crystal between her thumb and index finger, peering through it. The white-haired girl stared at everyone through her new marble. It was pretty much the same as her other marbles, but this one is special—as Hikari said. It would somehow protect her from Organization XIII.
"What do you see Anna-chan?" Totsuka asked with a smile.
Anna turned to face the cameraman, a neutral look on her face. "The usual." she answered before turning to catch a glimpse of a quivering white. The young Strain lowered her new marble and then peered through it again, not believing her eyes. She stopped peering through her marble and tucked it inside her pocket.
The white-haired girl watched as Hikari left the bar with her tongue sticking out at Yata—who in return scowl at her with a red face.
"Cih! What a brat." Yata mumbled under his breath, the red slowly disappearing from his cheeks.
Shouhei nervously laughed. "It's really a surprise to find a Strain at this time of day." he said to everyone in the bar.
"…the girl is not a Strain." Anna said softly.
"Eh?"
…
"EH?!"
~[K]~
Riku walked down the pavement with a slightly annoyed look. He was pissed off because of Marluxia. The pink-haired man just had to push his buttons and then fled like a coward he is. Knowing the Organization was once again alive was bad news, but not knowing what they're really after was twice as bad. The silver-haired teen let out a frustrated sigh as he ran his fingers through his silver locks. He hoped that Hikari has a better luck protecting Totsuka and Anna…
The keyblade wielder stopped in the middle of the sidewalk as he tucked his hands inside his pants' pockets. Blue-green eyes stared at the tall buildings, admiring the structure. They were tall, but not as tall and cool as the ones' in the Grid.
Riku started to walk again, still pondering about the Organization. He didn't even notice that he took the wrong turn to HOMRA bar. The teen kept on walking, ignoring the fact that he was being stared at by a few group of females. If Hikari was here, she would definitely tease him with the nickname Shiki gave him, Mr. Knight. The teen sighed, honestly, where did Shiki came up with that nickname anyway?
He turned to a corner and blinked. There was supposed to be a HOMRA bar at the intersection, but there was nothing! It was just an abandoned store. The keybladewielder face-palmed, finally realizing he took the wrong turn. He ran his hand down his face and pinched the bridge of his nose. What a waste of time…
"Excuse me," A voice interrupted his thoughts. Rikuturned around, his hands dropping to his sides. His eyes trailed up to inspect the tall man standing before him. He had dark-blue hair with violet-colored eyes, topped off with frameless glasses. The mysterious tall man wore a blue uniform, similar to a police's uniform. The thing that stood out from him was the sword on his left hip. "I apologize, but I would have to ask you to leave this place at once. This place is rumored to be one of the places Organization XIII resides." he said with an authoritative tone.
Riku gave a nod. "Right…" he said before walking pass by the man. 'Rumored huh? Sounds like a lead to us…'A smirk graced his lips. He didn't even notice that the bespectacled man was staring at him, along with his blonde-haired Lieutenant. He kept on walking, smirking to himself as he thought of a plan to sneak in the territory tonight. Suddenly, he bumped into someone. "Sorry…" he mumbled before averting his eyes up.
"…no problem." The man replied coldly, a smirk appearing.
The keyblade wielder backed away a few steps with wide eyes. He lowered his head, glowering at the man. His eyebrows were furrowed down and his mouth twitched up in a scowl. He raised his hand up to grab the keyblade's handle. He took the keyblade off his back and stood in a fighting stance, preparing to attack.
"You…" Riku growled. The man smirked once more before Riku lunged forward, the keyblade pointed directly at the man's head.
"Tsukino, kinkyuu battou!" The man named Tsukinopulled out the saber from the sheath. Just in time too, the saber blocked Riku's keyblade. His golden-colored eyes stared down at Riku with disinterest. "It appears that Marluxia has failed his mission… I should have a word with him after this." he said to himself.
"Cih!" Riku spat, struggling to keep Tsukino's saber away from his shoulder. "What are you in this group? Did you abandon Organization XIII? Funny, you were always such a dog to Xemnas." He mocked.
Tsukino didn't reply for a moment. He seemed unfazed by Riku's insult. "On the contrary, I'm on a mission." He replied in a flat tone. He pushed Riku away and kneed him on his stomach, sending him flying away.
The keyblade wielder landed on the ground with a grunt. "FIRAGA!" he cast a fire spell and flames burst from his hand.
The fire was aimed at Tsukino. He jumped away, avoiding the fire ball. The fire burned the tail of his blue coat and the fire soon evaporated into thin air.
When Riku was about to get back up and cast another spell, he was suddenly shoved to the ground harshly by someone. The person twisted his right arm behind his back as he restrained the keyblade wielder. "Ugh! What are you doing?!" the boy demanded.
"Well done, Fushimi-kun," The bespectacled man praised as he stopped right in front of Riku's face. The silver-haired teen lifted his head up, catching the man's violet eyes. He scowled when the sight of a long-blue-haired man appeared behind the bespectacled man. He placed his hand on Tsukino's shoulder. "Are you injured Tsukino-kun?" he asked.
Tsukino shook his head and flashed Riku a smirk. "No, sir." He said.
The bespectacled man kneeled down in front of Riku. "You are herby under arrest. Now, be a good and obedient little strain or we will have to use force." He smiled before standing up.
Riku clicked his tongue as the man restraining him pulled him up forcefully. "You guys are being tricked! This guy's a member of Organization XIII! Don't trust him!" he trashed in the young man's grasp.
"Cih… be quiet will you?" Fushimi clicked his tongue in annoyance before pulling out silver handcuffs. He bound Riku's wrist together behind his back and placed on the handcuffs securely. He had to admit, the kid's strong… The black-haired young man pushed Riku to Akiyama and Hidaka, allowing them to take care of the noisy boy. He walked towards the weapon the kid was holding. "What should we do with thi—," when he picked up the giant key, it suddenly disappeared. "What the hell?" he blinked.
Munakata placed a hand on his chin and a minute afterhe turned to Awashima with his hands behind his back. "Awashima-kun, please bring the boy to the interrogation room. I would like to question him for the reason he attacked Tsukino-kun." He ordered.
"Yes, Captain." Awashima saluted.
'Organization XIII…in Scepter 4? This is interesting indeed…'Munakata chuckled to himself, turning around on his heels to board the car.
~[K]~
Riku glared daggers at the dull colored walls. He was currently in Scepter 4's interrogation room. He still can't believe that Tsukino or Saix was in Scepter 4! That Nobody probably join Scepter 4 to fulfill the Organization's personal needs. The silver-haired teen scowled. Typical…
"What's your name?" The bespectacled man questioned, adjusting his glasses to the right place. He leaned forward, resting his chin on his crossed hands. From Riku's point of view, this man seems to be the one in charge.
"…Riku." The teen answered monotonously.
Munakata nodded, "How old are you?"
"Eighteen."
"Where are you from?"
"Shibuya."
"You've came a long way to Shizume City, Riku-kun." Munakata said, smiling a little. The teen slowly nodded his head before throwing Tsukino Isa a death glare saying, 'I'll-kill-you-later'. The Captain cleared his throat, making the silver-haired teen turn his attention to him. "Ehem…Why did you attack Tsukino-kun?" he asked.
"I've told you… He's a member of Organization XIII!" Riku shouted, slamming his fist to the table, shaking everything on it.
Awashima placed her hand on the handle of her saber, ready to draw it out.
Munakata held his hand up, stopping the woman from doing so. "For someone who is from Shibuya… You do know a lot about the Organization, Riku-kun." He fixed his glasses and stared into Riku's blue-green eyes.
"Tsk! That's because they've messed with my friend!" Riku crossed his arms over his chest. He knew that lying was bad, but this was the perfect opportunity to make Munakata believe that Tsukino is really is a member of Organization XIII! "I won't forgive them for what they've done to my friends!"
"I see… so you held a grudge against Organization XIII because of what they have done." Munakata nodded understandingly. "So does Tsukino-kun remind you of Organization XIII?"
Riku threw Saix a glare with a small victorious smirk. "Remind me of? Heh… he's more like the one."
Munakata nodded. "I see… I believe I have heard enough." He said, standing up from his chair. He turned around to face Awashima. "Take Riku-kun into the jailhouse. We cannot confirm anything yet until the evidence are gathered." He commands.
"Yes, Captain." Awashima saluted and walked over towards Riku, taking out the handcuff and placed it back on. "Please follow me." she said sternly to the boy who only sighed and oblige. Fushimi and another clansman follow Awashima and Riku to the jailhouse, leaving Munakata alone with Saix.
Munakata turned to leave, but before that, he glanced over to Saix. "Tsukino-kun, you are free to go. Continue with your previous duties." He ordered.
Saix smirked, saluting the man. "Yes, sir."
~[K]~
"Is this… it?" Hikari asked herself. She stared at the fairly large building beyond the steel-barred fence. It was bigger than the Haunted Mansion and fancier too—well of course it was, since the Haunted Mansion was never cleaned except for certain rooms. Compared to the Haunted Mansion, she preferred this mansion instead. "It's bigger than I expected…" she gave an impressed whistle.
It took her longer to find this place. She got lost a few times and had to ask for directions. The keybladewielder has no sense of directions when it comes to new places. No matter how much she asked directions, she just doesn't seem like the one to listen properly, probably because she found the people giving her directions are boring. Whenever they were at a new place, Riku would always lead or if she was traveling alone, she would just get lost and explore.
"Alright! 'Operation: Bust Riku Out' is a go!" The brunette clapped her hands together, staring at the gates with a determined look. She kept on staring as the cold wind went pass her. "Now, how to bust him out?" she mumbled to herself, placing a hand on her chin.
She calculated the possibilities. She could jump over the fence, but that would make her get arrested. Wearing a mask would help, but that would just end up the same as the first option. The keyblade wielder let out a loud sigh and grabbed the keyblade strapped on her back, preparing to break an entrance. Oh well, breaking in was the only chance—
"…can I help you?" a bored tone buzzed through an intercom. Hikari blinked her eyes confusedly and turned her head to the intercom, staring at it. She accidentally pressed a button with the tip of her keyblade, calling the person whoever owns the mansion. She sighed, so much for breaking an entrance… and she was looking forward to breaking the gates down. "Can I help you?" the voice asked again, this time irritatedly.
"Uh…" Hikari summoned her keyblade away and pressed the same button she pushed accidentally with her keyblade. "Hi?" she greeted awkwardly.
"Tch. If you're just going to say 'Hi', I suggest you get lost—,"
"I am," Hikari snapped, emphasizing. She glared at the intercom. The brunette sighed deeply, her eyebrows furrowed down. She took a deep breath, calming down for a few seconds before talking back to the person on the other line. "Ehem…Well, I'm looking for someone—,"
"Look, whoever your girlfriend is, she's not here. Now get lost."
A visible vein popped on her forehead. "I. Am. A. Girl." She hissed, shaking her clenched hand at the camera. This was the fifth time today she was mistaken as a boy! Was it really that hard to these people to tell a difference between a girl and a boy? Clearly, it was. She glared at the intercom. "Look, I'm just here to look for my friend. Someone told me that he's here. So you better open up and let me in before I take down the gates." she threatened, giving the 'fish-eye' to whoever is talking to her.
The voice sneered, as if tempting her to do so. "I would like to see you try."
"GAH!" Hikari yelled out in frustration. This guy was just impossible! She face-palmed and ran her hand down her face, rubbing the bridge of her nose as shetries to calm down. No matter how much she tries to calm down, his sneer just kept on playing back in her mind. "Look! I'm looking for Riku! He's my friend about this tall and has silver hair! Someone told me that he's in your base, so there's no use making up a lie!" she pointed her finger at the intercom, smirking in victory.
There was a moment of silence.
"He is currently in our holding facility. May we ask for what you want to see him?" The voice switched from the annoying male to a female one, but with more authoritative in the tone.
Hikari sighed. At least this one is polite. "You see, Riku is my friend. We were both separated when…something happen a few hours ago. So now, I'm here to bus—bail him out." she corrected herself.
"I'm sorry, but we cannot let him out."
"Eh?! What? Why?" the keyblade wielder drawled out, surprised and disappointed at the same time.
"Riku is a Strain and has attacked one of our comrades, therefore we cannot let him out until further notice." The woman said calmly.
'Way to put us in a low profile, Riku.' Hikari thought sarcastically. She scratched the back of her head before sighing in defeat. She can't bust Riku out of jail now. He did something wrong to the people in this world. "Can I at least talk to him?"
The woman didn't reply as soon as possible. "Very well." she said and the gates automatically opened by themselves. Hikari stared as the gates with her mouth slightly open. "Please come inside and there will be someone to escort you to your friend."
The brunette walked past the gates a little wearily. She was somehow intimidated by the tall building. It reeks of politics and business. She hated the two categories ever since she visited Port Royal. The keyblade wielder still remembered how rude those people were. She shook the thoughts away and placed her keyblade on her back when she spotted two people in blue standing by the entrance. Both had on serious expression and inwardly, Hikari cringed. This meant heavy business.
"I'm Akiyama Himori and he is Benzai Yuujirou. We will be your escort, please follow us." The one with black hair said with a straight expression.
"Right… My name's Hikari, nice to meet you…" Hikari trailed off as the two men turned around on their heels, walking through the long hallway. The brunette quickly followed the two men dressed in blue uneasily. She could feel the tension in the air and it was suffocating. She cleared her throat, scratching the back of her neck nervously. "Um…Why did Riku attack one you guys anyway? He wouldn't attack anyone unless they did something wrong." She tried starting a conversation.
Benzai exchanged looks with Akiyama. He glanced over his shoulder, "We don't know, but he claimed that Tsukino-san is a member of Organization XIII." He watched as Hikari's eyes widened for a moment before going back to its normal size. The girl nodded her head at him with a sigh—that seemed to be a little faked. He and Akiyama stared at the teenage girl before their eyes saw the weapon strapped on her back. "…that's an interesting sword you have." The brown-haired man continued.
Hikari blinked before looking over her shoulder to stare at her keyblade's handle. The keyblade wielder could feel Benzai and Akiyama's eyes suspiciously staring at her keyblade. A bead of sweat rolled down her forehead. She turned to face the two with a fake smile. "Heh? Really? It's pretty common." For keyblade wielders, that is. She finishes inside her mind.
"I see…" Akiyama said as he stopped in front of cell with a silver-haired teen in it. Without noticing, they already arrived at the jailhouse of HQ. The black-haired man turned to face Hikari. "We're here. You may speak to your friend, but not in private." He stepped aside, allowing Hikari to stand in front of the cell.
Riku sighed when he heard the door to the jailhouse opened with a loud creak. He averted his vision through narrowed eyes when he spotted three shadows. His blue-green eyes widened for a slight moment at the sight of his companion standing beyond the metal bars. He quickly stood up and approached the brunette, stopping right behind the bars. He stared at the brunette before moving to the two men standing behind her, hands on the hilt of their saber, ready to draw it out anytime.
"Hikari, what took you so long?" Riku sighed out in English and the two men slightly tensed up their shoulder at the foreign language. He smirked when confuse looks came across their face. It looks like neither of them knows or speak English.
Hikari blinked before nodding her head. "Sorry, sorry… I have to stop by the bar first." She laughed sheepishly, replying in English. "Here's the thing, I can't get you out because well… you attacked one of them without a reason? Yeah… that's what they said." she continued, crossing her arms over her chest.
Riku sighed. "I didn't do anything wrong." He defended and Hikari gave him a look. "There really is an Organization member in Scepter 4. I don't know what their goal is, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the bar. Would I even lie to you?" he gave a deadpan look.
The brunette hummed, a hand on her chin while she shrugged. "True…" she said, completely believingRiku's words. He was an honest person who never lied and always tells everything specifically like it was right out of a book. If it was her in Riku's place and Riku in her place, Riku might not believe her at all despite the fact that her left eye twitched slightly when lying. It could be dust or her habit when annoyed or surprised. "So who's the member? One? No… that's too obvious. Two? Wait wait… that's also too obvious. Four? No." she kept on thinking.
"Seven. It's Saix." Riku said, straightly to the point. Hikari cringed at the name of the lunatic Nobody. "His name is Tsukino Isa. You better watch out for him, Hikari. He got everyone's trust here, even their captain." The girl nodded her head. "…and watch out for their Captain, he's…suspiciously mysterious."
"Sure. What do you want me to do now?"
Riku thought for a moment. "For now, keep a low profile if you can—," he was cut off by a snort from the brunette herself. He glared. "—and try not to use your keyblade too much. Apparently, they think of it as a threat and I'm guessing they're suspicious with you too." Hikari nodded her head understandingly. "Try to get as much as information of this world and Organization XIII from the outside. I'll be investigating from the inside." He explained, revering to get information from Scepter 4.
"What about Saix?"
"Keep a close eye on him if you can, but don't attack when he's with someone from this organization. He's planning something big."
Hikari sighed, there were a lot of things Riku requested for her to do, but nonetheless she agreed to do the given tasks. "And about HOMRA?"
"Protect them."
"You got it."
"I'm sorry but time's up." Benzai exclaim, breaking the conversation between the two keyblade wielders. Hikari nodded at him and said her goodbye to Riku, who in return said goodbye too. She began to walk away from Riku with the two Scepter 4 members beside her.
"I'm counting on you, Hikari." She heard Riku said loudly, making Hikari and the two Scepter 4 members turn to face him.
"I'm counting on you too, Riku."
The three continue their walk away from the jailhouse.
"So what did you talk with him?" the brown-haired man asked, after they were out of range from the silver-haired teen.
Hikari grinned, "Nothing much… just how he got in that cell and how he commented on my lame counting skills." She laughed a little awkwardly, making it possible for Benzai and Akiyama to detect that she was lying. "Why ask?"
Akiyama shook his head. "Curious. It almost seems that you two were hiding something from us."
The keyblade wielder almost chocked on her own spit. "W-Why would you say that?! Just because we speak in English doesn't mean we're hiding something!" she pointed a finger accusingly at them both.
'Bingo.'Both Akiyama and Benzai thought. It was obvious that Hikari was lying. Before the two could even press the matter deeper, Hikari already ran off towards the gate.
"Thank you for escorting me to see Riku! See ya!" Hikari gave a peace sign, leaving Akiyama and Benzai standing at the entrance of the building.
Akiyama and Benzai stared at the retreating figure. The black-haired man dug his hand into his pocket, pulling out a black recorder that was still recording. He stared at it for a moment.
Benzai turned his head to look at Akiyama, "Did it record everything?" He asked.
Akiyama nodded his head, "Of course." He replied, pressing the stop recording button with a click.
