Episode 2 pt 1

Caution! Hana's identity is foiled!

"Catch!" A golden sphere appeared from her chest, she hit it with her small arms and it jumped towards her tail leaf. With a quick spin she batted the sphere towards her partner. It came too fast, before she managed to reach out her hands the sphere smacked into her stomach and fell to the ground. Panicking, she went to retrieve it off the ground but her boot slipped on the ground and she fell onto her knees. She winced from the pain from the hard concrete she fell onto. "Hana!" The voice of her companion startled her, and she looked up to find her, but instead she was greeted by her enemy which came pouncing at her at a high speed. "Snivy...! Protection!" Before she could react to the creature's attack her companion had jumped in front of her, a large crest the shape of her tail leaf shined in front of her, she had stopped the creatures attack as it crashed into it. However making it increasingly mad.

The crest in front of the grass snake created a round shield protecting them from all around. Snivy held her arm out to keep the shield up so she looked back at her partner, her eyes looked fierce but determined. "Hana! I can't hold this for too long so you've got to listen" The creature outside crashed itself into the shield forcing Snivy to push harder to keep the shield active, "I know it's scary but this is your duty now, you need to stand up and focus. Grab the sphere and fight." She pushed back against the shield as the creature crashed into the shield with a larger force. Hana looked towards the sphere was by her companions feet. "What do I do with it?" she said reaching out for it a second time. "You'll know when you grab it ok. Trust me." She said looking back at her with a cocky smile". "Now go get it!"

She grabbed the sphere finally, her touch reacted with it making it shine and change forms into a beautiful shining bow. It was heavily patterned with fine details and markings, the glow it emitted lit up in the darkness. "Amazing" Hana spoke to herself overwhelmed by its presence. But quickly she looked up to see Snivy smiling back to her, looking even more determined than before. "Ready?!" Hana nodded firmly. "GO!" She reached back and punched the crest she had created firing it straight towards the creature. It was too fast for it to dodge and it hit it directly encasing it in a light prison locked with Snivy's crest. It was trapped.

A sudden power flowed through Hana's body, empowering her. She stood up and held the bow firmly in front of her. She had never used a bow before, but for some reason at this moment she knew exactly what to do. A thin strand of string appeared on the bow and with a strong pull of it she formed an arrow out of nothing, it too was patterned and decorated with vines and ad the leaf pattern on it, and from nowhere she shouted out. "SOLAR BEAM!" releasing the arrow from the bow and shooting a powerful beam like arrow shooting perfectly towards the enemy. Upon impact the shot exploded into a blinding flash of light. And in a second it was gone.

Hana moved her bow down, she had never used a bow before and never even thought of that attack. "HANA!" she came too fast, and before she could reach out for her partner crashed into her stomach. But she didn't fall, she stayed up and held onto her clothes, it appeared to be an attempt of a hug. "Hana you had me worried, it's a good thing I stepped in and got you on track yea?"

She laughed at her little friend. "Yeah I know I'm sorry, I'm getting there, just slowly" she put a hand underneath Snivy and held her up so they could talk face to face. "Yeah but I can't keep saving you. I mean the first few times sure but you didn't have a weapon so I couldn't help it." Snivy smiled sweetly at her, "But you know, when your partner can conjure up a weapon for you it means were super connected with each other."

She was right, beforehand they were not very well acquainted and argued a lot, and Hana wouldn't even stand up to the enemy, and essentially left it for Snivy to defeat the enemies they encountered. It had been 3 weeks before this day that she couldn't and it was this day that Hana had properly tried to fight. So perhaps relationships between partners was the reason why she could.

"No wait it's probably because I actually tried this time you know, I think our connection is something to be desired" She teased, sticking her tongue out at Snivy.

"Fine that's it I'm not saving you anymore! You're on your own" She jumped out of her hand and floated away fast, her arms were crossed to best they could, but she looked back grinning happily.

"Hey wait I didn't mean it! Come back!" She ran after her in a little game of chase, when she ran past a window and saw her reflection. She had almost forgotten that she had transformed.

Her hair grew a lot after her transformation, and it hung in a ponytail. It turned a leafy green colour as well, she was surprised that it suited her so well. In fact she was surprised about the whole attire she was wearing. She could barely recognise herself. "Snivy, how do I get out of this?" She called. Snivy floated back over to her. She had never been entirely sure what to do.

"Just ask ok?" and just like that, her body was enveloped by light and then in a sudden pop, she returned back to her usual self, her hair just above shoulder length and blonde and she wore a simple t-shirt and jeans with a green coat over her. Her mood suddenly changed she turned off and walked home putting in earphones to listen to music from her phone. Whilst Snivy followed her.

The door downstairs slammed against the wall whilst it was being opened and could be heard from upstairs, it was the early leave of her father who as usual was working early till late. Hana could faintly hear him call up to her to say goodbye, well more like an "I'm leaving", more than a goodbye. However both of them were not great morning people, and considering how much they would usually get along she doubted that things would be better if he did make an effort to see her off. The door slammed shut and locked from below her room, which was her signal to start getting ready for the day. She was lay in her large double bed curled up in her duvet. She groaned a little but slowly peeled away her covers and perched herself on the edge of her bed looking at her feet, yawning loudly.

"Hana!" Before she could react to the sudden familiar voice, its owner had already made contact with her head landing on the top of her head. It leaned off the edge of her head greeted her upside down, "Good morning Hana!" It said with a grin, and quite happily, its voice was feminine and fairly high pitched.

"Snivy?" She sighed to herself and lifted the grass snake- like creature from her head and held her up right placing her on her lap. "What's with the special greeting you're not usually this active this time of day." Which was true considering Snivy wouldn't even be awake at this time of day under normal circumstances. She gave Hana a wide wicked grin. "You know why…."

"Er… do i?" She said uncertainly. Looking pretty confused at the snakes grin change to a frown, an angry frown as she nodded.

"Because todays the day you're probably gonna have to deal with freaking revealing yourself you moron!" Snivy shouted angrily at her, you could almost see fumes coming out of her nostrils at the end of her pointed face.

"Oh yeah… that..." She looked away guiltily, "hmmm? To be honest I haven't given it much thought" She looked back down at Snivy her leaf green body was practically bright red with anger.

"Much thought?! I cannot believe you! I thought you would at least think about some sort of thing to say? At least make up some smart lie, I mean you results in your classes are fairly high and you're a smart girl. Surely there's something?! And while we are on the subject…" She went on for a bit, obviously insulted, and outraged that she really hadn't given it much thought.

She ignored Snivy for the most part and thought to herself how she even got in this mess in the first place, it was a mix of desperation to save someone she actually knew personally, which was different to what she had experienced before. It was almost like she was new to all of it again. Making the small mistakes again. Missing her weapon, forgetting how to cast a move. And now getting caught. And this time her partner couldn't step up to help her. To think that she might not have been in this situation if she hadn't panicked and listened to them. To think that if it was anyone else, she wouldn't be in this mess.

Flash back

"Hana!" Snivy had been lulled asleep from the constant rocking of the bag she was held in, but suddenly jumped out of her bag. "Hana I sense a dark aura nearby!"

"Where is it coming from?" Hana replied quickly, but in a quiet voice. Snivy did not hold back her volume as Hana was the only one who could hear her at her moment.

"It coming from the alleyway some way back I think, tha - " Hana interrupted her mid-sentence and turned quickly to walk fast back toward the alleyway she remembered. "The same one as Owen went down! Let's go!" She began a sprint down the path, whilst she was running she heard Snivy, who was now holding onto her shoulder, speak to her. "Hana we need to hurry! It's gotten pretty far, we'll need to intercept it before it reaches Owen ok?"

Hana looked toward Snivy, shocked at what she had said, she took a deep breath and tried to run faster. She looked forward again, she could see ahead the familiar turn he had taken to get to the alley but it was still a way off she had to get to it.

"Snivy, how far has it come?" She said commandingly.

"It's getting closer to him, Hana we won't make it in time if we keep running like this!" She looked up at the rooftops and pointed with her short leaf-like arms, "we could go up and get a jump on it before it reaches him!"

The buildings which she was pointed to were flats and were fairly tall, but in order to get up there she would need to be stronger, to be able to jump high enough to get up there. Then at least she wouldn't have to worry about being seen meaning she would get there faster thanks to the power she would receive.

Hana nodded, she ran into a darker area and lifted Snivy off her shoulders and held her out in front of her, "Snivy let's go!"

"OKA—"

"HEY!" A voice cut her off and stopped her from. The voice came from behind Hana, a figure stood she recognised as an ally when fighting destruction at night, he had already transformed and was in his suitable attire. "Are you sure you should be doing that here?" He said gesturing toward the road nearby, "I mean you're gonna attract a bit of attention, I mean you know it gets pretty bright, you especially." He was right she had nearly forgotten about it. It was a bit embarrassing for her, usually it was him making mistakes seems as he had been doing this for a shorter time than she had. Plus she had mentored him when she discovered he had the same power as she did. She hesitated an answer, caught out by a mistake she had taught him to avoid. She was slightly embarrassed by it.

He sighed shaking his head, smiling as he did. "Heh you know if you want to get somewhere fast, why don't you just try asking for help?" He held out his hand towards her.

"I would've asked if you'd been here a moment ago, give me a break." She reluctantly took hold of his hand and he pulled her into a dark corner they were near, he moved her hand to around his waist, looking to her and gave a small nod toward her. She understood and held onto him tightly.

He tensed up, his legs bent slowly as he built up his energy, then with a powerful thrust he pushed himself off the ground and lifted off the ground into a powerful jump. He managed to jump high enough to reach past the top of the tall building of flats they were by and he guided their fall to the edge of the building, they landed softly and Hana loosened her grip of him and walked further onto the flat roof and began a fast walk towards the opposite edge, beneath her was the alley that Owen was walking through still, She could see him just ahead of where she was stood.

"So what? Are you going to transform now?" She jumped, he had appeared next to her suddenly. She took a small glance at him and was about to answer when she sensed the presence of the enemy nearby, it had manifested and was about to attack Owen, who had fallen onto the floor. She moved rapidly to further down the roof, "No time, I'll go now!" She shouted toward him.

"Wait Hana! You'll get caught!" He shouted, but for nothing she had already jumped off the edge of the building. He could do nothing to stop her now. He only hoped she had a proper plan to conceal her identity.

It was a large jump down and she was falling a down at a rapid pace, Snivy was with her, clutching onto her shoulder but looked determined and ready. Hana looked at her briefly and held out her hand to which Snivy jumped into her palm. Snivy pushed out her arms, her tail leaf glowed a light green and she shouted, "SNIVY, PROTECTION!" With that the glow in her tail expanded into a large light that enveloped them both, Hana threw Snivy down so she intercept the incoming beasts attack against Owen, a large leaf crest appeared in front of her, causing the beast to crash into it. The move cast by her companion cushioned her fall and she landed on her feet with no injury. Reacting quickly she shouted back towards Owen. A simple command. "Run!"

She did not listen for him, nor did she consider where he was. Instinct took over and she reached out towards Snivy and shouted. "EVOLVE!"

End flashback

She groaned and fell backwards onto her bed and ran her fingers through her long blonde hair. Snivy had quit talking suddenly, looking worryingly toward her, she walked on her bed and sat beside Hana's head, in the middle of her right arm that was still resting on her head, and she leant back against her companions arm. Hana turned her head to look at her. Snivy returned the look, she was still looking worried. "Sorry I ranted at you Hana, but I'm just concerned about you, you know how important all of this is."

"Don't worry about me." She lifted her free arm and stroked the top of Snivys head "It's all gonna be fine, besides it was one person you know, I can fix this" She spoke softly and smiled at her.

Snivy lifted Hana's hand from her head and held it in front of her. She looked up at her briefly but then immediately looked down at her hand. "I know, I'm overreacting. I just want things to be easier for you. You've always had it hard.-"

Hana squeezed her small hands tight, the shock of interrupted what she was saying and she looked up to at her.

"Snivy, stop thinking like that. Regardless of what happens, I'll get us through this. You do not need to burden yourself by wanting to make things easier for me. Because as long as you are here, it is a reminder that this is my new life, and I will not let you or the goddess Arceus down. I will solve this, I promise."

Blushing slightly, Snivy smiled gently. Her eyes beginning to well up with a few tears. She released herself from Hana's grip and wiped one eyes tears away. "Geez, something must have gotten into my eyes" She said through a small laugh, "But I'm sure you will get us through this yeah? I trust you." It was hopeless Snivy let go of her strength and let herself cry into Hana's hand. She was too happy over what she had heard her say.

Hana sat up properly a quickly and took hold of her friend in her hands. "Hey hey! Come on… you're embarrassing me. Maybe I'll hold back on the speeches next time." Snivy looked up at her with a teary smile. But she nodded, wiping her tears from her eyes. "Thanks Hana, besides you'd better get ready now, instead of making me all emotional." She wiped her eyes again and jumped down onto her bed. "So get to it you big idiot" She grinned.

Hana smiled back at her and finally got off the bed. She had more than enough time to get ready and even have breakfast before she went. Maybe, she thought, today won't be as bad as I thought.

It was a busy morning, Most of the classes ran early this morning so there was a large crowd on the college campus. The college was located on the outskirt of the city and was said to be a landmark, well so they said considering it was not the only college in the city. It was a large modern looking building, however it held a few traditional elements to it. It consisted of two large tower like brick buildings that stood either side of the main lobby building which contained the assembly halls and cafeteria for the students this was 1 story tall but had tall roofs, the two towered blocks beside it held the classrooms and work areas, they were each 5 stories high. The classes were separated between these two buildings, the right tower held the more academic lessons such as English, and languages, whilst the left tower held the more practical lessons, like science labs and construction classes but, Classes also ran between these two towers, like construction for example, theory lessons would take place on the right and practical's on the left. Which makes navigation in this college a nightmare when you have switch between the two buildings if you are unfortunate enough to be in one of those classes.

Around the college campus was a large brick wall with 4 gated entrances, and long concrete paths which lead into the main building. This college was big, but considering it was the only one in the area it was big enough, just as the rest of the schools in this area.

It was 8:45am, the pathway towards the main block was crowded with uniformed students. The uniform was not completely mandatory, students were allowed to wear the uniform however they wanted, and there were different uniform designs to choose from. Usually students tended to wear a type of uniform depending on what their main course was. Hana stuck with the generic design usually used by the students who do not take a more practical course. Her hair was tied up in a simple ponytail, and she wore her usual green coat over her uniform.

Walking with her bag to her front, kicking it lightly as she walked, she was approaching the main building. She reached into her pocket when she heard a small buzz coming from her coat pocket, it was her phone receiving a text message.

The conversation wrote:

Alex:

Hey, could you wait outside the main building I have this really important thing to give to you :)

Hana:

Er sure thing, when are you gonna be here?

Alex:

5 minutes? :s

Hana:

You better be...

Alex:

K thanks :)

She pretty much scowled at her phone, she hated dealing with his antics. Mainly because they usually involved her doing some sort of chore for him. Again this was mainly because he was terrible at time keeping so he would nearly always hand his assignments in late. However this time it seemed different, he never once called his work important. So perhaps this time she could expect something good.

She hadn't known him for too long, only for about 5-6 months. They didn't see each other much during the college day, but they stayed in touch by seeing each other after. It started by her mentoring him for things like a class he was failing in, and they kind of moved on from there. He became a friend that unfortunately she's stuck with. Not that she minded, he'd given her a lot of support in the past. Support that no-one else could give to her as he was the only one who could ever understand. But then again she could do without him at times, as she checked her phone for the time, he had been more than five minutes and she couldn't even see him yet. Once again she would be late to her first class because of him.

Her phone vibrated in her hand, receiving another text which said:

Alex:

Literally around the corner, will be there in a sec

She looked up towards the front gate, a fair way away from the front steps. Like he said he was there just turning the corner, and he appeared to be doing a sort of run towards the college. He was obviously struggling as he had a large roll of paper under one arm whilst carrying a large flat bag in the same side hand. On his other half he was holding a stack of paper that was slipping out a folder. When he reached her his breathing was heavy and he found it hard to speak. However he put down the large flat bag and pulled out a stack of paper that was barely in the folder and pushed it towards her into her un-ready hands.

"Take….to….physics teacher…..please... thanks...gotta go….i'll speak to you…..later" He span his hand around and pointed to the left tower building as they called it, He gave a quick thumbs up and quickly picked up everything and ran off into the main building where he turned right into the right tower building.

And like that he was gone, she nearly dropped the mass of paper she got pushed. She gathered it all properly into a rough pile. Taking a proper look she noticed that the entire stack was overdue homework and assignments. Luckily she knew what he wanted and where to go. But even for him this was ridiculous.

"Razor leaf!" The shot burst into a large swarm of razor sharp leaves cutting through the beast's large wings, it tried to flap them rapidly to escape but they had been shredded by the attack making it flightless, it cried out loudly calling the other winged beast to its aid. The winged beast circling the sky, reacted immediately and swooped down towards its prey, it came from behind and fast. The other also jolted forward on its claws and attacked from the front. Banishing her weapon she whipped up a strong wind swirling with leafs around her hand, And when both were about to strike she swiftly shot her hand into the air summoning a large leaf tornado around herself which expanded rapidly hitting bother enemies as they were blasted helplessly away from her, landing harshly on the floor. "Snivy!" she called, the small snake like creature reacted and jumped high above her shining brightly. She raised both her hand up towards her companion, "SNIVY, MEGA DRAIN!" Suddenly the beasts on the floor started to glow a light green colour; some sort of green energy. Their bodies became weak as the green energy began to flow towards Snivy and spiral around her. Soon they began to fade away into the energy flow, and so on until they were nothing. The spiralling energy around Snivy then formed in front of her and transformed into a medium sized green gem. Putting down her arms, she caught the green gem into her palms. Snivy soon followed and touched the green gem lightly causing it to lose its colour and fade away.

A small cheer and the reality around them also faded back to normal, with a small burst of light her outfit changed and her hair turned back into her original blonde hair.

Not much had happened today, she thought, as she advanced back into the college ground walking pretty fast. Her fight had gone unnoticed, when destruction shows its true form a barrier between the real world and its own is created, it is called the realm of distortion, where the original destruction is born. Where Giratina was banished to by the goddess Arceus. It is also a way to protect a creations identity and have the fight uninterrupted. Not many people know when they enter the realm of distortion, but a creation detects this presence and is the only one who can defeat the destruction it brings.

Since the morning did not go particularly well as she was late to her first lesson due to her having to give in the Stack of homework given to her, she knew it was going to get worse for her as unfortunately time does not change in the different realm, and being half an hour into her next lesson it was going to be difficult to explain this one to her tutor.

She made it to her classroom and awkwardly opened the door, immediately the whole class stared at her in disapproval, all except the tutor who simply remained at the desk he was speaking at. "Sorry I'm late" she shyly called out, but with no response from her tutor who continued talking. Maybe she deserved this ignorance, this had to be at least the fifth time she's appeared late to his lessons.

She looked for her seat it was a desk near the front of the room next a window, and sitting on that table was her partner, a white haired boy with pale skin and light blue eyes.

Owen Alden.

ok wow this took waaay too long... also i put this off for ages but at least its here now riiight? (

basically this chapter or part 1 is supposed to tie up some loose ends, and give a little to Hana's past (like a little) and develop the world in which they live in, well at least i tried, but basically that may be the reason why its a little gappy, i just wanted to finish this because i finally found a way to end the chapter :DDDD

hope you enjoy it!
