SORRY! I was meant to put this up ages ago but I kept getting distracted by a little something I like to call... Tumblr :/

I pulled the sword wielding girl away from the man curled up in a tight ball, why was she hitting him, I mean sure he's a Trapper but Gale was full on crazy!

"Gale!" I gripped her shoulders tightly, "Calm down!"

I thought it had worked, her breathing slowed and her eyes seemed to look less frantic, that was until there was a whine from behind me, she wiggled out of my grip with ease but did not return to the Trapper (who is now under a certain Night-Fury who seemed to have come out of no where), she instead ran to the sound.

"Storm!" She yelled with a sense of urgency, my eyes followed her as she ran towards a dragon whom I hadn't noticed until now.

Once she got to it, she instantly dropped to her knees and began tugging at something, I slowly crept around the girl to try and figure out what she was doing, it didn't take long until I found out.

There was a sickening splattering sound and a bloodied spear was dropped to the ground, a sudden low rumble seemed to vibrate through the ground, but I knew by now it was more than just a sound.

Gale barely even moved her mouth to make the reply. The strange, un-human sounds slowly ceased and her head drooped to look at the pool of blood forming around her.

The big dragon's head slightly moved, now I could see the luminous eye on the side of his head, it held my gaze for what felt like eternity and I was about to look away when the strangest thing that will ever happen to me, happened.

"Thank you for bringing her back, Viking."

The voice bounced around in my head, it had an echo to it, but not in my ears, the voice was loud but weak and it didn't take me long to figure out who it was.

I gave a small smile to the dragon, Gale must not have heard it because she didn't even move, I could barely even tell she was breathing. The dragon (Storm was it?) flicked his eyes back to Gale, the low rumbling began again, once it stopped Gale's head snapped up, as did Toothless' ears, they both stared at the dragon in utter confusion.

"Wait, what?" Gale finally said, in Norse?! She pushed up from the ground and took a quick glance at her brother, "Wouldn't Night, be a better candidate?"

It was now I decided to move, I sprung forward and put a hand on the girls shoulder, "Gale!" I whispered in her ear, "You're speaking in Norse."

She nodded her head without even looking at me, I was going to ask more questions but a familiar hand pulled me away, I whipped my head round and found Hiccup had finally been put down by the dragon, he shook his head as he continued to pull me away from the confusing scene.

I pulled Astrid's hand as I urged her away from taller girl, I didn't take her too far away because I still wanted to see what happened, I had been watching from above as Surface-Skimmer found a Trapper free place for us to land, once he had dropped me down I had run so fast I couldn't believe I hadn't tripped over my own feet.

From our place on a slight incline, we had a clear view of all the goings on down below, Toothless was sitting on a Trapper, Gale is slowly pacing back and forth and dragons were starting to appear all around, whatever's happening must be quite big.

Among the crowd I spotted Astrid's Nadder and Surface-Skimmer, they were watching intently as the big four winged dragon rumbled out Dragonese, I could tell he was getting infinitely weaker.

There was a loud roar that could be easily be mistaken for thunder and all fell silent, I searched for where the sound had come from. I looked down and found Gale had stopped in her tracks and fallen to her knees, she didn't look upset but she was visibly shaking, quite a lot if we could see it from here.

I glanced over at Astrid who was fidgeting, shifting from one foot to the other, she desperately wanted to run and help her friend but she knew it was the right thing to leave it.

I turned my head around so I was once again looking over the crowd of dragons. The weak dragon had lifted its body up so it was now standing on all fours, facing head on to Gale, she was now bowing her head, her fake foot sticking out from underneath her at an odd angle.

The beast let out an ear splitting cry which quickly turned into a bright flame, it sailed over the girls head, leaving behind a soft cloud of steam.

The flame came to a stop and Gale slowly stood up, she looked into the bigger beings eyes and gave a small nod, with that the dragon laid his head back down on the ground and let his eyelids fall, probably for the last time.

All the surrounding dragons began humming, I'm sure it wasn't humming to them but to me and Astrid it sounded like humming, it rang throughout the surrounding trees and vibrated through the ground, traveling up my spine.

The humming stopped and Gale stood straight up, she turned around, looking at all the dragons who had decided to watch, and locked eyes with us, her hair was slightly darker at the front, obviously slightly burnt, and her face was a mixture of emotions, fear, confusion, rage and most of all, trust. I don't know who she suddenly trusts, but it must be very important.

She twisted her neck to an older looking dragon, covered in scars and dirt, and began barking some loud orders, pointing forcefully to the ground. The dragon replied with a twitch of a nod before calling for a dozen more like him and burrowing into the ground, almost like a whispering death.

She began sending out more orders and eventually walked up to Toothless, all the formalities were gone now, they were family. He got up from the Trapper and nuzzled into her neck.

"Should we do something now?" Astrid asked, nudging my side.

I nodded without even looking at her, I heard her heavy footsteps quickly disappear. My brain was still trying to figure out what had happened, a dragon died and suddenly Gale's acting all strange, I'm missing something very big and it's starting to annoy me!

I'm hoping to get the next chapter up earlier this time, but it's still being hopeful. Also, I know this has been done before by lots of people, but I want your opinion on me doing a 'watching the film', I won't if you don't want me to but it's just an idea.
