A/N: Okay so I really wanted to finish this story with this chapter. But...that didn't happen. This came out instead. If the other chapters were mature this chapter is super mature. Violence, Blood, Gore, Smut, Bad language, Character Death and a lot of action. A lot of things come to head in this chapter. Please excuse grammatical errors. Sorry it took so long to update but this was kind of hard to write. It didn't flow like usual.
Disclaimer: Not Mine.
Kol listened to her heels click, as she moved back and forth across the hardwood floor. He heard her breath as it pushed in and out of her lungs at an increased rate, her heart flutter at every little sound. She was anxious for their arrival.
He watched the ripper closely. He had retreated into himself, brooding, or more like calculating. His eyes had darkened, his posture tensed. He was a lion waiting to pounce. While Bonnie was worried, he could tell she would be happy to be reunited with her mates. The ripper in contrast was lying in wait for his brother.
He understood the fantasies that must be playing in his head. Jeremy and Elena Gilbert had died a thousand deaths in his own thoughts since his untimely demise, but he had found something more important. He thought Stefan had as well. Not that he would mind. He wasn't a fan of Damon, of any of Bonnie's friends really. The blonde may be the only exception. They were self-absorbed idiots who took advantage of her gifts. They treated her like a servant and a servant she was most certainly not. That would be changing. He would make sure of it.
He turned his gaze on Bonnie. "Kitten, come sit by me. You're driving me mad, and not in the way I like." Bonnie bit her lip. "Sorry. I'm a bundle of nerves." She said lowering herself beside him. He rubbed her neck trying to calm her. The room was already buzzing with her magic. The extra tension in the air was almost suffocating. "Kol…I know there is a lot of history here. I mean, Elena and Jeremy…they-"
Bonnie stopped talking… looking up into those brown eyes. Something inside of her swelled. She loved this man. She couldn't imagine her life without Kol in it. She didn't want to. "I know it's asking a lot but please, they're my family. I love them." Kol smiled at her. "I told you kitten, there are more important things than revenge…isn't that right Salvatore." Stefan looked up at the original. His face said it all. This is not the time to take your revenge against your brother Ripper. We have plan. We end Silas, and after that, if you still require retribution I will help you take it out on his hide.
Stefan exhaled in frustration. Bonnie looked between the two of them. They we're speaking in their thoughts again. She was worried about Kol and his temper, but glancing over at Stefan, she discovered the ripper sat in his place instead. She knew Stefan. She could read him like the words of her favorite novel. Bonnie had become accustomed to the different versions of his personality. Stefan was a wonder. Not only was he still dealing with his trauma from over the summer. He was also trying hard to reconcile his addiction and balance both sides of himself. It was a lot and very difficult, but he was handling it well. It was inspiring. Naturally, sometimes he slipped back into old habits.
The ripper was Stefan's id. He acted on every dark desire the vampire had. The vampire was bothered, and it didn't take a genius to figure out why. Stefan was heartbroken by Elena's and more importantly Damon's betrayal. And today would be the first time seeing them since Elena had chosen Damon. What kind of brother steals the people that make you happiest in the world? First Katherine, then Lexi, and now Elena.
Bonnie and Kol watched a tear slide down his cheek. Bonnie immediately went over to him wanting to help shoulder the hurt. Sensing her approach, he stood suddenly backing away from her. Bonnie had earned a special place in his heart, but he didn't want to be comforted right now. Not when darkness crawled inside him. He didn't feel worthy of her affection. He went over to a window looking out.
Bonnie frowned. Her heart lurched as sadness and fear settled in her chest. Her instincts told her the ripper was in a dangerous place. She feared for her friend's safety. She returned to Kol's side. He welcomed her with a kiss, knowing her feelings were slightly hurt, but he could sympathize with the ripper. A brother who is consumed with you. Kol answered. Maybe he wants to be the person that makes you happiest. I wonder if he finds out we blood share will he offer me a vein? Stefan shook his head. A smiled threatened to form on his lips, but he sobered just before it could manifest.
I waited for them you know. I waited for them to rescue me from the darkness, from the wet. Stefan took a deep breath fighting the lingering thoughts that still plagued his life everyday. Surely they would have noticed that I was missing. I dreamt about them rescuing me. After everything that happened, I called to them. I called to everyone and no one answered.
Kol kissed the back of Bonnie's hand, thinking of her enduring benevolence. She looked up at him surprised. She was curious, but she would never infringe upon their privacy. This was obviously something Stefan needed from Kol.
Except Bonnie. I told her to let you rot. She wouldn't listen. She's stubborn that way, especially when it comes to the people she cares about. The people she loves. It's annoying really. Stefan turned slowly looking at the green-eyed witch. She had always been there, at great sacrifice to herself, often against her own wishes. Always. Something swelled inside of him.
Now, are you done with your pity party Ripper? We have work to do. And stop looking at my girl like that. Stefan smirked. He walked over and knelt slowly in front of Bonnie, placing his head in her lap. Bonnie sighed in relief, the fear easing away from her. Stefan had tamed the ripper. He was getting better at that. Her hand stroked his hair. Stefan closed his eyes surrounding himself in her warmth. Kol made a show of huffing and rolling his eyes, feigning jealousy. He wrapped his arm around the witch. She leaned into him. You know one day Salvatore your going to have to stop playing the victim. Stefan snuggled into Bonnie's lap. I don't know. Look at all the perks I get. Kol smiled. Cheeky bastard.

Thirty minutes later. The trio sat on the couch still awaiting the gang's arrival. Bonnie was sandwiched between the two vampires, which was all too commonplace as of late. Kol stood. Stefan and Bonnie looked up at him quizzically. "I think I'm going to take a walk. Let you explain everything and then I'll come in later. I don't want my presence to be a deterrent to what we need to accomplish. We have two days to the lunar eclipse and it's paramount we're ready. I don't want to be the bloke to tell Qetsiyah we failed." Bonnie slipped from Stefan's embrace. "You're sure you're okay?" Kol smiled. "I'm always okay…Darling." He said delivering a quick peck. Behave yourself Salvatore. Kol sent walking to the door. Don't do anything I wouldn't do…or anything I would. Stefan arched his brow catching Kol's meaning. I don't make promises I can't keep. Kol smirked walking over the threshold. So noted.
Bonnie sat again on the couch looking at the vampire. "How are you feeling?" She said grabbing his hands. Stefan interlaced their fingers, squeezing gently. "Honestly, I don't know the answer to that." Bonnie grabbed his face looking into his eyes. "Stefan, I know this must be hard and you are angry and you have every right to be but please... Whatever you're thinking." Stefan looked away. She brought his face back to hers again.
"Promise me the ripper will be on his best behavior." Stefan smiled. It was diabolical and made of pure sex appeal. Bonnie's stomach looped as Stefan looked into her eyes then down to her lips. His mouth moved towards hers. "I don't make promises I can't keep," he whispered millimeters away from her lips. When their lips met she yelped at how passionately his mouth moved against her own. Stefan was an amazing kisser, drawing her deeper within himself. All her thoughts vanished into the recesses of her brain. She moaned into his mouth, wrapping her arms around her neck pulling him closer. There was only his lips, and ridiculously talented tongue. Her eyes fluttered closed as Stefan began to playfully bite her jaw.
A car door slammed, and her purpose rushed back to the forefront of her thoughts along with a tiny bit of guilt. Truth be told she felt guilty for not feeling guiltier. Bonnie pulled away from him jumping to her feet. Stefan sighed adjusting his jeans. Bonnie made her way to the door and looked back at Stefan. He winked at her before she threw open the front door and was nearly bowled over by a blur with long dark hair. "Bonnie! I've missed you so much." Elena hung unto the witch tightly. "I've missed you too." Stefan tried to hold on to the joy he had just felt but it drained from him rapidly being replaced by anger.
Damon strolled through the door behind her looking over the two friends. His face contorted into confusion when he spied his brother on the couch. "Stefan?" He looked over at Elena. The vampire's head rose when she heard her ex-lover's name. "I thought you we're headed out of town." He looked at the witch and back at his brother. Stefan blinked at his brother, his jaw clenched. He was too afraid to move, to speak for he might become an only child.
"Stefan?" Elena said pulling away from Bonnie. Just then Matt marched through the door. "Sup Bon, You can't write anyone back. I sent you like 300 emails." Bonnie smiled at her childhood friend as she was pulled into a giant bear hug. She hugged Matt tightly, truly glad to see him. She glanced back at Stefan to make sure he wasn't holding a stake. Her heart palpitated a little when his face became more sinister. She was happy when Tyler and Caroline walked through the door bickering over Tyler's driving. Caroline rolled her eyes at her boyfriend, and then grabbed Bonnie's hand, "Hey. You ready?" Bonnie nodded taking a deep breath.
"Okay we're all here. What do you want witchy? I have things to do." Damon said still eyeing his brother. Stefan shook his head. "Like my ex-girlfriend," He mumbled. Caroline's eyes stretched at the remark. Damon was taken aback. He must still be pissed but he hoped they would have moved past this by now. Elena eyes dropped to the ground. Bonnie eyed Caroline gesturing to the volatile vampire. Caroline prodded Tyler over near Stefan. Obviously he needed a friend. She sat by him grabbing his hand. The vampire smirked down at her hand, but didn't let go. "Everyone is not here. Where is Jeremy?"
"Right here." Jeremy said walking through the door. The young man looked over to Stefan on the couch shaking his head. He was disappointed in the witch. She had somehow rescued him anyway. God knows what sacrifices she had to make this time.
Bonnie's face broke. She pleaded with her eyes. Jeremy sighed looking down contemplating. After a moment, he gave in and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her. She exhaled into his shoulder. He may still be mad but he was there. He was someone that she cared for deeply and even if she wasn't in love with him anymore she cherished their friendship. She let go of Jeremy and went to close the front door.
Elena went and sat in the chair across from Stefan. He had been avoiding them all summer. He had barely spoken to them. She wanted to talk to him, explain. He just blew her off or ignored her altogether. She stared now. He was supposed to be out of town. Why was he here with Bonnie?
Caroline looked from Elena to Stefan. Damon watched cautiously as well. Bonnie was readying a force field to protect the brunette and the almost 200-year-old vampire. Elena continued to watch Stefan until he couldn't take it anymore. The vampire turned towards Elena. "Is there a problem Elena?" Hurt played across her face.
"No. I just…I'm surprised you here. You really haven't been concerned with much of anything lately." Stefan exhaled looking over to the blonde. Caroline looked back at Bonnie. "Yeah brother, aren't you supposed to be out of town." Stefan turned towards the witch. Bonnie shrugged at the vampire. "I haven't been out of town. I have been in this cabin for the last three and a half months." Stefan's voice was low and even, laced with threats. Everyone's face scrunched with confusion.
Damon squinted at his brother. "What…No you haven't. You we're just at the boarding house on Monday." Stefan rose quickly. Caroline and Tyler rose with him, unsure of the vampire's actions. Bonnie had already thrown the force field around Elena and Damon. The vampire slowly turned and went and sat at the kitchen table. Bonnie bit her lip moving forward.
"Silas has been at the boardinghouse since spring. He's Stefan's doppelganger. He took his place." Everybody mouth dropped open at the news. "Huh… He's been at the boardinghouse." Damon said looking at everyone in shock. The wizard could have killed them all. He stood trying to wrap his head around what he was being told. Elena just kept glancing at Stefan who was staring off into space. Jeremy sat in the corner his face blank. Tyler and Caroline we're still playing bodyguards.
Caroline had filled Tyler in on all the torment the vampire had to endure. "Stefan has a doppelganger like Elena," Matt asked sitting down in the armchair nearest him. "And it's Silas?" Damon paced. "So if Silas was with us, where have you been?" Damon questioned.
Stefan flashed in his brother's face. He pushed against the force field Bonnie had thrown up. Caroline and Tyler blurred to his side. "I was locked in a safe buried at the bottom of a lake blessed by a priest. I spent my summer trying salvage my sanity from drowning over and over-" His eyes watered as he was bombarded with an avalanche of flashbacks. They were less frequent but they still came. The vampire was too angry to feel their normal agonizing effects. He was practically foaming at the mouth.
Damon could see the rage and pain in his eyes. He looked away flinching at his brother's words. Sorrow, regret, and guilt washed over him. "I was burned from the inside out repeatedly. Where the fuck we're you?" No one moved. No one spoke. They just watched Stefan try not to kill his brother, and listened to Elena's sobbing.
After a few moments, Caroline reached for his hand. Stefan breathing was rapid. He trembled with anger. He looked down at Caroline's hand. She pulled on him a little and he backed away. Damon couldn't look at him. Elena tried to touch his sleeve as he passed but he flinched away. Elena winced. He took a seat at the kitchen table. Tyler sat with him this time. Caroline stood behind him her hand on his shoulder.
Silence stretched on. "I didn't know." Damon croaked after a while. He had been standing with his back to everyone. When he turned everyone could see the tearstains. Stefan looked over to him and pursed his lips. "I didn't know. We didn't know." He said gesturing to Elena. The brunette looked at the vampire with watery eyes.
Stefan smirked looking over to Bonnie who was readying to avert any more attempts at familiar violence. "The two people who love me most, Bon." Bonnie sighed. Everyone looked between the vampire and witch. She looked at him trying to remit both understanding and disappointment. He looked into those green eyes so worried about everyone. No one deserved it, none of them. "I'm done." Stefan said leaning back into the chair.
"How'd you get out" Jeremy said his voice tight. He saw something in that moment between the two of them that turned his stomach. Stefan turned towards the youngest Gilbert. He realized twenty minutes earlier he was kissing Jeremy's ex. A few more minutes and it would have made for an even more awkward reunion. He would be lying if he said he didn't feel the slightest bit of guilt. It was obvious he still had feelings for her. "Bonnie."
Elena blinked at the witch. "How…How did you know? How did you find him? Why didn't you tell us?" Elena questioned. Damon narrowed his eyes at her as well. Caroline didn't like the accusation in her voice. "I tried." She said glancing at Jeremy. Jeremy looked away quickly. "But I couldn't."
"You couldn't…what does that mean? How did you find him?" Damon repeated. Bonnie sighed. Stefan was annoyed at their mock concern and the tone in their voices. "I appeared to her on the other side." Stefan said. Elena was even more confused she looked around the room and found she wasn't alone. Although Caroline and Jeremy didn't look phased. She couldn't see Tyler's face.
"The other side?" Elena probed. Caroline rolled her eyes. "She sacrificed herself to bring Jeremy back alive." Damon's face crumpled. "What? You didn't. That is the stupidest…" Stefan shot a daggered look at his brother. Damon closed his mouth. "She did it so we could all be happy. So you could be happy." Caroline added looking over to her Bonnie.
Elena ran over to the witch and hugged her. "Bon… I don't know what to say…Thank you…" Elena said astonished. Caroline scrunched her nose at the brunette. She glanced at Tyler who shook his head. Bonnie was taken aback by Elena's reaction. Thank you? Damon turned to Jeremy. "Did you know about this?" Jeremy stared back, eventually nodding. "She swore me to secrecy." Caroline rolled her eyes. Tyler sneered at Jeremy. Matt looked at him in disbelief. "Secrecy…She was dead. You didn't think to tell anyone?" Matt said anger creeping into his voice. Caroline threw her hands in the air. "Exactly."
Jeremy sighed, "Hey, I agree with you, but she pleaded. She had just saved my life. What was I supposed to do?" Matt rose walking over to Bonnie. "Ignore her ass. Bonnie, don't you ever do that again." He wrapped her in his arms. Caroline smiled, nodding. That's what real friendship looks like. Matt and Bonnie stayed like that for a while, too long if you asked Stefan, Jeremy and Kol, who waited outside the door.
Stefan heard Kol. He looked over to Bonnie and gestured to the door. Bonnie released Matt and he sat on the arm of the couch. Bonnie bit her lip. "There's more." Matt looked at Bonnie horrified. "There's more?" The witch grimaced. "Oh we have only heard the tip of the iceberg," Tyler said. Damon wasn't really paying attention. He was too busy keeping tabs on Stefan.
"I had help getting Stefan out of the safe. Qetsiyah brought me back to life to save him if I promised to deliver Silas to her. She also brought Kol Mikealson back to life to help me." A gasp went out over the room. "What… why would your lunatic ancestor do that? Kol Mikealson." Damon said glaring at the witch. Elena glanced at Jeremy. "He tracked me down on the other side. We're… we've became allies…friends." Lovers. Bonnie looked out unto the shocked faces. She looked over to Stefan and Caroline for support.
"We couldn't have found Stefan as fast if it wasn't for him. He was in pretty bad shape when we found him. Without Kol it could have taken weeks, months. Who knows what shape Stefan would have been" Caroline said looking at Elena. Elena eyes melted to the floor. "He, Bonnie and Caroline helped me through the most difficult time in my life. I count him among my friends." Stefan said to the room. Elena looked at Damon. Damon's eyes grew to saucers.
"What if he tries to come after me…Jeremy? We killed him." Elena said terrified. "This guy is a psychopath. Even Klaus talked about how crazy he was, remember when he assaulted me with a baseball bat and tried to throw Matt off a balcony." Damon said pacing. Bonnie sighed closing her eyes. This was not going well.
"Remember when you tried to kill Matt, when you abused Caroline and compelled her against her will, when you snapped Jeremy's neck. When you attacked Bonnie and killed Alexia." Stefan said staring at his brother. "Somehow we all found it in our hearts to forgive you." Damon's jaw tightened. Elena and Jeremy looked over to Stefan. "He's got you there." Matt said. Damon turned sneering at the former quarterback.
"Bonnie you can't be serious. We killed him. He's probably out for our blood, biding his time…" Jeremy said standing. After a beat he added, "So you've been alive for three months. Saving Stefan, gallivanting around with Kol. Has he been staying here too?" Stefan stood. Damon and Elena both squinted at him. Bonnie shook her head at Stefan.
"Jer, you need to have a seat. If I remember correctly I asked for your help and you turned me down. I needed help and Kol, the psychopath, was there." Bonnie said her brow moving upward. Jeremy shook his head. "This is crazy."
The back door slid open and Kol stepped through the door. He didn't like the way this conversation was going so he felt the need to step in. Damon walked over and stood in front of Elena. Jeremy froze. Bonnie shook her head. "Crazy or not mate. We have more important matters to discuss. Not that this reunion hasn't been entertaining, really an emotional rollercoaster, but Silas is trying to raise Amara Maeve and we need to stop the bastard. I won't mention that I warned you all. So let's put aside the murders, broken hearts, and ungrateful attitudes until after Silas has been vanquished. Can we do that? Or do I have to kill you lot we're you stand."

Jeremy's blood boiled as he watched Kol and Bonnie fawn all over each other while they recounted what they had learned over the last several months. It wasn't as obvious at first, but Jeremy started to notice that Stefan was somehow involved also. The original sat on the couch with his arm slung around Bonnie. His Bonnie. What the hell had been going on in this cabin?
Stefan could not take his eyes off of Bonnie. Every time Elena looked over at him he was looking at the witch or the original. They would also glance back at him, sometimes even Caroline. Stefan's entire mood had changed. Why wouldn't they tell them Stefan was hurt? She would have came and helped. Now Stefan thought they didn't care for him. She may be in love with his brother, but he was still her friend. Elena watched as Kol and Stefan smirked at each other while Bonnie talked. It's like they we're sharing a secret. What the hell had been going on in this cabin?
Matt didn't know what had been going on in this cabin but he hadn't seen this Bonnie for a long time. She was confident, self assured, and…happy, despite all the talk about millennia old wizards and dying witches. Stefan seemed different too, more… alive. The way she looked at Kol and Stefan and the way they were protective of her. He definitely wasn't Kol's biggest fan, but if Bon, Stefan and Care trusted him, he could try too. Hell, he was trusting Damon.
Caroline was right. Bonnie had herself a harem. Tyler watched as Stefan hung on her every word. Kol was rubbing her thigh on the sly, and she was completely comfortable. Jeremy looked like he was about to burst a blood vessel. He wondered what went on in this cabin when no one was here but the three of them. It didn't matter. They we're about to face some heavy shit, maybe they deserved some freaky deaky. Hell he was definitely going for his when he got Caroline home. Silas was going to be a bitch to kill and Prudence, and Amara Maeve didn't sound like cupcakes either.
"So you have the blood and headstone, the spells are ready…what next?" Damon said taken in the plan. Kol, Caroline, and Stefan looked to Bonnie. "We travel to Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania. Using the information Qetsiyah gave us, and doing a little research we found out that Blue Mountain has a small cavern that locals say are cursed. It has to be where Maeve is buried." Kol looked over to Damon.
"Caroline and I have been spying on Silas and he's been consuming a lot of blood. Blood banks are being emptied here in Mystic Falls and surrounding counties. He has also taken to compelling a lot of people in town, people with military backgrounds. Supes have gone missing all over Virginia and Maryland."
"He's building an army." Tyler explained looking at the original. "I need you guys to distract his followers while Kitten works the spell. I will try to somehow stop his spell to raise Amara, and Stefan will save his ancestor Prudence." You have the hero a hair after all. Stefan smirked. Damon looked around the room. Who the hell was Kitten?
"How are you going to stop his spell to raise Amara? What do you know about magic?" Jeremy said glaring at Kol's hand on Bonnie's knee. Bonnie caught him looking and moved Kol's hand. She wanted to talk to Jeremy before broadcasting her relationship with Kol…and Stefan. Kol looked over to the witch. "Besides Kitten here I probably know the most about magick because I hang out with witches. I honor their craft. I respect their abilities and had a touch of magick myself before my dear old dad went mental. I know their tools, basic spells, and have been studying grimoires since I was tasked with this challenge, plus I'm a master of mayhem, death, and destruction. It's a calling really." Kol said smiling at Jeremy. He saw the fist Jeremy kept clenching in his lap. Baby Gilbert was spoiling for a fight. It was in the bloke's best interest to simmer down before he gave him one.
"So…Prudence is his ancestor. And somehow Stefan and Damon is his ancestors?" Elena asked after a few seconds. Bonnie nodded. "And I'm Amara's Doppelganger…a witch? How come I don't have any powers or Stefan?" Bonnie shrugged. "I don't know but I think it has something to do with you all being doppelgangers." Damon was in deep thought when something dawned on him.
"Are we related? Elena, Baby Gilbert, Stefan and Me." Bonnie shook her head. "No. Silas only fathered the Owens and Salvatore lines. The Salvatore's were born to a Roma seer, not Amara Maeve." Caroline was impressed. "Damn Bon, you know a lot about this stuff." Bonnie smiled.
"It pays when the most powerful witch of all time decides to give you magic lessons. Want to know something else cool? You know how doppelgangers are nature's way of righting a wrong. Well the Salvatore doppelgangers were naturally occurring, Mother Gaia's way of controlling and killing an immortal Silas. But, the first Petrova doppelganger was created by magic. She was the result of a spell Amara Maeve cast to try to reenter this realm. Instead of being resurrected from purgatory like she planned, she mistakenly created a replica of herself, Tatia. Ayanna was going to kill the infant under Qetsiyah's advice fearing she would be just like Maeve but Tatia had brown eyes instead of Amara Maeve's green so Ayanna and Qetsiyah figured other things could be different about the baby and spared her life. They had no idea her blood would be used to create the originals. Destiny is trippy huh. The Salvatores, Petrovas, Bennetts, and Mikealsons have been connected for millennia by destiny and magick."
Matt shook his head. "These witches are really powerful: resurrecting themselves, creating limbo, creating vampires. Bon, you sure about this?" Kol raised his brow at the man. Bonnie smiled. "I'm sure Matt. I'm most powerful witch of this generation from the most powerful witch family. Plus I have all of my ancestors magic."
Kol stood rubbing his hands. "So we're all set then. Go home. Pack you're things. We leave tomorrow at 10am." Tyler rose stretching. Matt jumped up also. Damon sat going over the plan in his head. He may have missed the first round, but if his little brother and the witch were involved he was all in on the second. Elena was still trying to make eye contact with Stefan. He moved into the kitchen away from her gaze. Caroline grabbed her purse off the table. Eventually everyone moved to the door except Kol, Stefan and Bonnie.
"Bon, I can give you a ride home if you like. So you can get your things." Jeremy said stopping just before the door. He needed to talk to her. Talk some sense into her. Kol sighed turning towards the Jeremy. Stefan watched his posture change from languid to threatening. He moved closer to the original. Sensing a problem Damon and Elena moved back over the threshold near where Jeremy stood. "Oh, thanks Jer, but I'm probably going to stay out here tonight. I have a few things here. It's probably a little lonely at home anyway. Caroline says my dad lives at the City Hall these days." Kol stared at the boy.
"She has everything she needs right here." Jeremy stepped forward. Bonnie gathered her power. "Not everything. Her home is back in town. Where her things are. Where her family is. Her friends. The people who love her." Matt put a hand on Jeremy's shoulder. "I'm sure she'll get home Jer if she needs to. Let's just go." Jeremy didn't budge. Everybody else may have been taking in by the original but he wasn't buying it. Kol was using her to get to him and Elena. Tyler closed his eyes in frustration. This was not the time to do this. Not when he was sure Kol was itching to tear Elena and Jeremy apart anyway.
"Silas is gone. He's in Pennsylvania. You can go home now. Stefan can go home now. There's no need to hide. To be here." Elena perked up at this news. She hadn't thought about it, but Jeremy was right. "I have everything I need right here." Stefan said echoing Kol, trying to warn Jeremy with his tone to cease and desist. He was playing with fire. Not realizing he had simultaneously dashed Elena's hopes.
"See Jeremy, me and the ripper here will make sure she's safe and sound, and getting all the love she deserves. Why don't you run along now?" Bonnie glared at the original. "Kol stop it." Kol looked at her angry. "He's trying to goad me, Bonnie. If he weren't such a complete git he would shut his fucking mouth, before I shut it permanently."
Jeremy smiled. "Really. I'm so scared. Took care of you once. Not afraid to do it-" Kol flashed over to Jeremy slamming into Bonnie's force field. Kol peered into his eyes dilating his pupils. "Kill yourself." Jeremy promptly pulled out a knife and plunged it in his heart. Bonnie collapsed to the ground her world swirling around her.
Elena screamed flashing over to the original. He didn't even turn he just reached back and snapped her neck. Before Damon could register what was happening and react, Kol blurred to him breaking his back. He let his corpse topple to the floor. Matt stepped forward in shock. Kol shook his head. "Now, don't be stupid Matt. You killed my brother. That's more than enough reason to end you. They'll wake up quarterback. You won't be so lucky."
Stefan lowered himself to the ground behind Bonnie. "He's wearing his ring. He'll be fine tomorrow." He cooed, pulling her into his arms stroking her hair. The witch looked up through her tears spying the ring on Jeremy's hand. She looked over to Kol, her face fuming. Her cheeks wet with grief. Kol looked down at the witch, guilt clouding his features.
"Bonnie," he whispered. Bonnie climbed to her feet. She shook her head walking into her bedroom closing the door. Caroline went in after her. Stefan stood eyeing the original. This is no time for revenge, huh?
Damon was for you. Kol sent before going in his bedroom and slamming the door. Matt and Tyler looked at Stefan. "You guys want a beer?" Stefan said stepping over Elena's body heading into the kitchen.

Silas finally stood in the center of the cavern. He was humbled that he had finally found her gravesite. He closed his eyes and felt her power bubbling under the surface. I'm coming for you my love. A dozen or so witches cautiously moved around him drawing the necessary runes on the cave walls and ground in blood. Thanks to the vampires in his congregation he had no shortage of it.
The wizard had lost a third of his makeshift army to Qetsiyah's booby traps and curses coming up the mountain. The thirty witches he had employed had their hands full trying to break the wards. Sadly, most of them didn't make it. Five died just trying to lift the threshold that kept the vampires and him out. The sorceress had placed a threshold on a mountain. What other witch could bend the rules of nature like that. The last curse triggered left werewolf guts all over the cavern entrance. He had to admit Qetsiyah was magnificent. He marveled at her innovation and ingenuity. He had forgotten the depth of power that had drew him to her. It didn't hurt that she was very beautiful, but in the end it wouldn't have worked. She was too moral, too compassionate. Maeve on the other hand had no scruples, was just as beautiful and almost as powerful. A few more years and she could be just as powerful as Qetsiyah. She would get her chance.
Suddenly a witch imploded in front of his eyes, her skin and bones melting away into nothing in an instant. It was intriguing. A spell like that would require extensive calculations on the part of most witches. It probably took Qetsiyah a few moments. It was too bad he never got to consummate their relationship. He thought stepping over the vanquished witch's clothes. Sorceresses that powerful were usually passionate beings. Ah well…bygones.
Werewolves guarded Prudence as she diligently worked on the spell that would end her life, unbeknownst to her. Women were so naive. She was all too eager to dedicate herself to the familial cause. He watched her now braiding hemp and sage together, chanting to the sky. The blood on the walls began to softly glow. Silas's heart skipped. He couldn't help the smile that befell his lips. It's coming together my darling. There was a popping sound. Silas moved to his left quickly. An invisible force impaled a vampire near the wizard. Blood oozed from his mouth and nose. His corpse crumpled to the ground. That looked painful. Yes…Qetsiyah gifts were extraordinary. He wondered what the latest version of the Bennett witch would do with them.
The humans would be his first line of defense, guarding and patrolling the perimeter. The green-eyed witch, like her ancestor, loved sparing innocents. She would be opposed to slaughtering innocent humans. Lucky for him the goons he had compelled we're far from innocent. The witch and her friends would find out soon enough.
He was quite proud he had followed his instincts and installed cameras in Stefan's bedroom after his suspicions that someone was on to him. He must say he was surprised to spot the dead "original" wondering about his quarters. Which meant other dead supernatural creatures could be alive. He didn't have to wait too long to confirm Bonnie Bennett had been resurrected. It was clear as his arm sliced open before his eyes. Only a Bennett witch has to power and skill to render him unconscious without a trace. There was only one way she could have pulled off that task. His shadow self had been freed from his watery grave. I blame myself really. He had not expected Stefan to be able to reach out to the witch. From what he had seen they had no real relationship. They only followed Elena around like lost puppies. It was ironic. Qetsiyah's ancestor had become Amara's doppelganger's servant. Silas smiled. Or as Elena calls her… best friend. The witch and her underlings had been planning on waging a war. He wasn't a bad guy. Sometimes he liked to give people what they wanted.
His looked down at his arm as he had done many times before. The witch had left no trace. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes he wouldn't believe it. Magic always leaves a signature. It was quite unexpected. He may have underestimated the witch. He was almost impressed with her skill.
Little Bonnie Bennett may have gained some powers and a few new tricks but she couldn't fight both he and Maeve. They had his blood now, and the headstone. He didn't know exactly when, but they we're coming. He just needed to hold them off until he could raise his beloved. They had over 50 people to go through before they got to him. He would have his victory. He would hold the woman he loved in his arms again and never let her go.
His phone chimed. He looked down at his text message. They had finally let the others in on their little secret. Personally, he would have left those dullards out of it. Sometimes you could accomplish more with fewer people.
Things had been getting interesting in that little cabin. Qetsiyah's progeny wasn't as shy as he previously thought. Perhaps, he would have seduced her instead of using her fondness for the Gilbert boy. It certainly would have been more fun. Ah …bygones. To late now, they should be arriving very soon. "Prudence my dear. I'm expecting some guest. Let's make sure we roll out the welcome wagon."

Days like today were for being lazy, lying out in the sun, and feeling the breeze against your skin. It was a perfect day for hanging with friends and family. Caroline smiled as Matt and Tyler sat in front of her snickering at the movie playing on screens in the back of the front seats. Kol had acquired a brand new fully loaded SUV. The guy had style. She looked out her window daydreaming about fruity drinks and hammocks made for cuddling with her babe. She was almost there swaying in the wind until Bonnie shifted beside her.
She looked over at her. Those green eyes clouded with turmoil. She definitely wasn't thinking about the sun. She knew she was disappointed in Kol. She had listened to her vent all night. Then Bonnie sat all the way in the back of the SUV while Stefan and Kol sat up front to drive home the point. But she knew Bonnie well and could tell something else was bothering her, as usual the burden to save them all rested on her shoulders. She grabbed her hand trying to break her out of her funk at least temporarily.
It's such a pretty day isn't it?" Bonnie smiled glancing out of the window actually seeing the beautiful landscape she had been staring at for the past 6 hours. She smiled slowly. "It is," she said absently returning to her heavy thoughts. Caroline sighed looking up to find Stefan's green eyes watching the pair in the rear view mirror. The vampire was worried. He glanced over to Kol in the passenger seat who was wrestling with his own thoughts, his forehead pressed to his window.
"Is this the lodge up ahead Caroline?" Stefan called back. Caroline leaned forward. "Blue Mountain Ski resort? Yep that's it."
-o0o-
They all gathered in the lobby with their luggage at their feet. Caroline and Stefan went over to the reservation desk to get everyone's room keys. Elena and Damon stood off to themselves. Naturally they were a little leery of Kol, and Elena couldn't believe he was here after the stunt he pulled last night. Bonnie was still in her own head when Matt and Tyler chuckled about some of their past shenanigans in High School. Kol stood stone faced ready to get this over with. He wanted to spend as little time as possible with these people. He already regretted letting them taint their perfect little world.
Jeremy finally walked into the lodge with his bags. He had sat in the car trying to get past last night and focus on what was important, but he wasn't having much luck. He just wanted to go to his room. He walked past Kol glaring. The vampire did them both a favor and ignored him.
Bonnie looked up and stopped him. She hadn't seen him since last night. By the time they met the others at the cabin this morning he was in the car and didn't bother getting out. She didn't want to press the issue. "Hey, are you okay?" Jeremy threw a look at Kol. Kol shook his head and walked towards Stefan and Caroline. "Yeah I'm fine."
Jeremy was pissed at her. She had been alive for three months and didn't think to tell him. She spun some BS about not wanting to arouse Silas's suspicions but it seemed like to him she had her hands full with Stefan and the Klaus wannabe. How could she get involved with an Original? He thought last night would have been proof that Kol was bad news, but there he was packing her stuff into the truck this morning. To think he waited for her, mourned her all this time, while she was batting her eyelashes and giggling at Kol. The vampire had attacked or threatened almost everyone in their inner circle of friends at one point and time. He never would have thought Bonnie would be interested in a vampire-an original for god sakes. He went over and stood beside his sister. Bonnie sighed taking a seat besides Matt and Tyler.
"Okay here we go. We've got Elena in room 156. Jeremy and Matt in 157. Me, Bonnie, and Tyler in 204. And Stefan and Kol in 205." Damon blinked his eyes. "You forgot to say my name." Caroline blinked back and shrugged. "No I didn't." Damon sneered at the blonde.
Everyone grabbed their bags shuffling towards the elevators. Bonnie went to grab her suitcase when Kol picked it up. She glared at him for a moment, letting him know she was still pretty pissed, but she didn't want to argue in the lobby so she just let him carry it. Plus it was really heavy. Stefan grabbed her trunk full of her magical tools. Bonnie followed them unto the elevators. Squeezing in with Tyler and Caroline. She was glad Jeremy had gone up on another one. The doors opened unto their floor and she watched Kol and Stefan carry her bags pass 204. "Stefan, I'm in 204. I need my bag."
Caroline turned to her pulling her back towards the elevator while the boys went into their respective rooms. "Actually your in 205. Our room only has a king size bed in it. And I know you're into threesomes now, but I haven't spent a night alone with my baby in months and since I was on best friend duty last night…which I was happy to be and in no way am I complaining…so yeah…There are two doubles in 205." Bonnie huffed, looking at her pointedly. She couldn't believe Caroline had sold her out.
"You'll thank me later. Also I love you and don't take this the wrong way, but you're being a little hard on Kol aren't you?" Bonnie's brow rose. Bonnie opened her mouth to argue, but Caroline cut her off "Jeremy started that fight, Bon. Jeremy. Kol just finished it. He loves you, and I get it, he's an Original, and he clearly has the upper hand, and a temper, but if he wanted Jeremy and Elena dead. They would be." Bonnie bit her lip. She knew that down in her heart. But he made a promise.
"He didn't even hesitate, Care. Jeremy pushed the right button and he was on top of him." Caroline nodded trying to understand. "Yeah but Jer was being a dick and pulling the Alpha male crap too." Bonnie had already considered that. "Jeremy didn't make me a promise two hours before. Jeremy is not the one who declares his love for me everyday then attempts to kill someone I care about." Bonnie said a little louder as if Kol couldn't hear their conversation already. Carolyn's face scrunched. "Jeremy is the one who drove a dagger threw his heart just to get a cure that Elena threw away, then he had the audacity to break bad and not expect a fight. You know if it weren't for you Jeremy and Elena would be a memory right now. Besides, Is it attempted murder if he knew he was wearing the ring?"
Bonnie stared at Caroline. "Who are you? Are you being compelled? And if not, when did you become a Kol stan?" Caroline smiled. "No. I don't know. When he showed me he would always put you first. That is all I have ever wanted for you. I guess I am a little biased." Bonnie rolled her eyes, but the blonde could tell she was softening. Bonnie pulled Caroline further down the hallway into the stairwell. "He found a loophole in my spell just like that. If I can't stop Kol from killing someone, how am I supposed to stop Silas?"
"Is that what has been bothering you all day? Bonnie Bennett, Kol knows you like the back of his hand. He has been with you every step of the way. Of course he knew how to get around your spell." Bonnie looked up at the vampire with doubt. "Care, is this is supposed to make me feel better?" Caroline pondered that for a moment.
"For these purposes yes. You can't be ready for every little thing that happens to everyone, especially when they are acting like asses, but you are ready for Silas. You have been preparing for this battle for months. Last night, your instincts would have kicked in and you probably would have kick Kol's ass if it weren't Kol. And besides we all have your back. We're going to kick some major ass tomorrow. Silas will rue the day he ever crossed Qetsiyah. Ok?" Bonnie smiled at her friend, nodding.
"Okay. I love you but…I need some sweet lovin' right now. You should go get some too." Bonnie laughed. "Tempting… but I need sleep then food. We should all grab something to eat in an hour or so after Tyler…um…takes care of your needs." Caroline smiled opening the stairwell door to their floor. "It's a date."
-o0o-
Caroline and Bonnie walked back down the hall to their rooms. Caroline knocked on 204 and Tyler swung the door open. She jumped on the hybrid her legs locking around his waist. Bonnie just stared amused. "Bye…I guess." Caroline waved backwards, her lips too occupied with Tyler's jaw at the moment. Bonnie watched the door close behind them shaking her head.
Tyler spun the blonde around pressing her against the wall. She ran her hands through his hair, while his head was ducked between her breasts, kissing the sliver of exposed skin. His tongue trailed from her cleavage to her throat. "Oh God, I so need this." Caroline moaned. Tyler turned her again making his way over to the bed, his hands squeezing her ass firmly.
"Tell me what you want Bae." He whispered into the shell of her ear. He sat her on the bed taking a moment to remove his shirt. He leaned over capturing her lips before his hands began to massage her core. He bent kissing her stomach as he inched up her top. It eventually found a home on the floor next to his discarded shirt. Tyler took a moment to enjoy her chest in the lace bra she got him for his birthday last year. She had let him pick it out and everything. "I missed you guys, " he said cupping her breast.
He pulled on her bra exposing a nipple that hardened immediately in the air. He circled it with his tongue looking up into her eyes, smiling. Caroline threw her head back in pleasure. The bra hit the ground seconds later. "Tell daddy what you want," Tyler said in between nibbles. His hand moved south slowly until he was caressing her thighs. He rubbed upward until he fingers found the outside of her panties. He moved to her center finger strumming, just the way she liked it.
Caroline reached down grabbing his hand increasing the friction against her swollen clit. Tyler kissed her passionately as he pulled away. He gently suckled her bottom lip. "You like that huh" He whispered. "Tell me what you want." Caroline gyrated against his hand, while Tyler covered her face and neck in kisses. The blonde gasped when his fingers slipped under the material. "Have you heard Beyonce's New Album," Caroline said breathless.
Tyler lifted his head to her ear taking her earlobe in her mouth. "Please tell me you want to sit your ass on it." Tyler rubbed at her center furiously. Caroline couldn't think let alone form sentences. She was so hot, so wet for him. She shook her head. "Wrong song," She stuttered out. Caroline began to buck against his hand. "Who makes you cum?" Tyler whispered as he slip two fingers inside of her using his other hand. It always drove her crazy. "That's it baby…cum for me." He said pumping his hands and rubbing at her clit rapidly. Her breath caught. She jerked then screamed, collapsing on the bed. She melted away in the pleasure radiating from her center. Tyler smirked down at her, his dick hard. "I'm go run that bath water."

When Bonnie walked over to her room the door was ajar. Someone has been spying. She pushed the door open finding both men lying back on the two beds. "Are you still cross with me love or did Caroline set you right?" Bonnie twisted her mouth staring at the man. "Oh hurting the people I love is funny." Kol sat up.
"Love him do you? I should have had him rip his bloody arm out of its socket first." Stefan shook his head. You're not helping yourself. "You're unbelievable." Bonnie said walking over to her luggage. Kol was taken aback. He wanted to make up, but he was upset with the witch also. "I'm unbelievable? He confronted me. And he gets your concern? Your bloody apology?" Bonnie turned. "You made him stab himself in the heart." Kol glared at her.
"He stuck a dagger in my heart, destroying my entire legacy. I wasn't coming back. I didn't have a magical ring. I was dead. Just like you were when you sacrificed yourself for him and his ungrateful brat of a sister. Why do you give them freely what I have to work so hard for?" Bonnie's heart dropped. Kol shook his head, got off the bed, and went into the bathroom slamming the door. Bonnie looked over to Stefan.
"He's really hurt. He feels like you took Jeremy's side." Stefan informed her. Salvatore do you run and tell Bonnie everything I tell you in private or is this an isolated incident? Stefan huffed. I'm saving your ass. Bonnie rolled her eyes and went and knocked on the bathroom door. She opened the door slowly.
Kol was sitting on the side of the tub. Bonnie went and sat beside him. "I love you Kol. I do. Sometimes I get so scared because I know that you're not afraid to do atrocious things for what you feel are the right reasons. I know you don't understand and you think I'm a pushover when it comes to them, but they are my family. When I saw the man I love kill someone who has been so important in my life, AFTER I told him how important that person was two hours before. It hurt. It's like you stuck a dagger in my heart. And I know you saw the ring, but I didn't. I really thought he was dead. And yes he started it, but what… your like a 1,000 years old? You couldn't ignore him." Kol stared at the wall listening to her speak.
I'm tired of hearing they're her family, Stefan. When do I get to be her family? "Admit it. Deep down inside you wanted revenge. You didn't care what I thought about it, or how it would affect me." Kol nodded.
"I did. I do." Kol said shaking his head. "But what you don't understand is that wasn't revenge." Kol chuckled. "No were near, darling. I did think about you. He got a dagger in his heart because he's disrespectful. He was being a prat to you, to me. He thinks he owns you. They both do, like your beholden to them. Do you get that? Do you understand why that bothers me?" Bonnie nodded.
"I do. You think I belong to you. You want to protect me and defend my honor. You don't think I can do those things for myself." Kol looked into her eyes. "I know you can do those things for yourself. The question is why don't you? Because they're your bloody family." Bonnie grabbed Kol's hand.
"Hey…you're my family too. Everyone is saying that I'm being harder on you, but it's because I expect more from you. You have been…" A tear slid down her face. "My rock. When you say something I know it's going to happen. I trust you completely. So you threw me for a loop last night. Really freaked me out all over some nonsense. I mean I stayed with you. I rode up here with you. I'm here with you. I thought you weren't concerned with Jeremy Gilbert." Bonnie questioned.
She leaned over placing her head on his shoulder. "I just want us all to be one big happy family," she pouted. Kol eyes bulged. "I mean this sincerely love…never going to happen. The ripper, the blonde, and your really pushing it with the hybrid and the Human, but Damon is where I draw the line." Bonnie grimaced. He wrapped his arm around her.
"Kitten, I need you to understand that I love you too. Very much, and I come from an era where that meant something. I'm not going to let anyone disrespect you. I don't care who it is. Even if it's your father." Bonnie sighed rolling her eyes. "I can take care of myself Kol." The vampire pursed his lips. "Oh I'm well aware, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to have some help. Let me help take care of you. I'll try not to murder you mates." Have you guys made up yet? I have to take a leak. Stefan sent.
Kol pulled Bonnie up off the tub wrapped her in his arms and kissed her. "I'm going to take a ride. Why don't you stay here with Salvatore and take that nap you wanted." Bonnie looked up at him curiously. "Why isn't Stefan going with you?" Kol kissed her again opening the bathroom door. "Because we're in the same town as Silas and I'm not leaving you alone with him out there." or Jeremy, Stefan thought. Kol slid into his jacket. Don't act like your not happy to get another chance to seduce her, Kol thought smacking Bonnie on the bottom, and heading out the door.

Stefan was writing in his journal and Bonnie was lying on the bed. The room was quiet except for the occasional moan that drifted through the apparently thin walls. The witch and vampire both looked up when they heard a loud growl followed by Caroline's screams. Bonnie and Stefan looked at the wall then at each other, laughing. "Well it seems like Tyler is getting a warm welcome home." Stefan chuckled at his desk. Bonnie smiled. "Yeah…you should have seen them in the hall. I had wanted to take a nap but I guess that may be out of the question." She said trying to snuggle into the pillows. Stefan looked back at her. "You okay, Bon? I know you're disappointed with our behavior last night, but is that all that's bothering you? Is there anything else you want to talk about?" Bonnie sighed. "I'm fine."
Stefan was unconvinced. He stood walking over to sit on the side of her bed. "I wish you would let me be there for you like you're always there for everyone else." He reached out caressing her face. "You know you don't always have to play the martyr." Bonnie leaned into his touch. What is with these men and wanting to take care of her? What's with you Bonnie? You should count your lucky stars. "You want to do something for me?" Stefan nodded continuing to stroke her cheek.
"Will you take a nap with me?" She chewed on her bottom lip slightly embarrassed. She was still getting used to asking people for what she needed…wanted. "I kind of got used to sleeping with you. I haven't slept well in days." Stefan smiled, immediately bending over to unlace and slip out of his boots. That was easy, Bonnie thought. He stood pulling his sweater and t-shirt over his head. Bonnie glanced at his bare chest. He really needs to put all of that away. He climbed in bed behind her wrapping her in his arms. He held her close, playing in her hair until she drifted off into sleep.
When Bonnie woke hours later, Stefan was watching her. "Hey," she said yawning. "Did you sleep at all?" Stefan smiled in response. He wasn't tired. He just wanted to hold her. "You feel better?" Stefan said brushing back the hair on her face. "Much." She looked around the room. "Kol isn't back yet?" Stefan shook his head. "No. He called. Him, Matt and Damon are scouting our path up the mountain tomorrow." Stefan didn't want to tell her Kol had found there were a lot of people out on the back side of Blue Mountain, probably some if not all were Silas's followers. Bonnie eyeballed Stefan. "Kol is with Damon? And Matt's with them? Poor Matt." There was no telling what could happen with those two. She cringed internally.
"Caroline called too. Since you were still asleep she said they would meet us for dinner at eight. Bonnie looked at the clock. She had been sleep that long. She must have been really tired. Bonnie closed her eyes as Stefan gently stroked the side of her face. He was certainly in an affectionate mood this evening.
"Stefan does it bother you when I kiss Kol. I can stop kissing him in front of you." Stefan thought about it trying to be honest. "Nah. I know how you both feel about one another." His fingertips ghosted across her lips. "Just like Kol knows how we feel about each other." Bonnie was apprehensive. "What's wrong with you people?" The vampire leaned in pecking her on the lips.
"I'm basically making out…and other things… with you and Kol and everyone acts like it's no big thing. Caroline makes jokes about it." Stefan smirked. That sounded just like Caroline. "Well, neither one of us is in a committed relationship with you. I guess you could consider this the interview process." He said trailing a finger down her collarbone. "Besides, I think Kol is of the mind that he loves you and you love him so nothing else matters." Bonnie's mouth dropped open.
"He told you that?" Stefan moved in closer to the witch. He nuzzled her nose with his. "He tells me a lot of things." Stefan said looking into her eyes. Bonnie peered back. "You discuss things in your minds." Stefan kissed her cheek softly. "Yep." Bonnie was just astounded and confused about the relationship they all had with each other. "So what are your thoughts about our situation?"
"Honestly I don't know. I haven't really been thinking about it. I've just been going with the flow. I think being around Kol has that effect on people…on us. I do know there is nowhere else I would rather be right now than with you. I know you and Kol make me feel like I belong to something. Something meaningful, something real." Stefan said rubbing her arm. Bonnie thought about that for a few moments. She realized she like the idea of that very much. His arm went around her waist pulling the witch even closer to him. His hands began rubbing her back. Bonnie closed her eyes, moaning a little. Stefan had magical hands. She was lost in his touch when she whispered, "What does blood sharing feel like?"
Stefan buried his face into her shoulder inhaling her scent, peppering the underside of her jaw with kisses. "Think about the best sex you ever had then multiply that times five." Bonnie's eyes fluttered open. She pulled back to look at his face. "Really?" Stefan nodded. "To be fair I have only blood shared with originals, Rebekah and Kol, so my experience is probably extremely skewed." He swiped his thumb across her lips.
Bonnie tried to comprehend the magnitude of what he was saying. "So you have mind blowing vampire sex with Kol once a week." Stefan stole a kiss savoring her taste. He was more than a little bit aroused. "He's actually letting me feed twice a week now to build up my strength for the fight." Bonnie was speechless. She looked over him in shock that faded when her eyes landed on his torso. She ran her hands over the tights muscles. "When do you do this," Bonnie asked, desire and curiosity seeping into her voice. Stefan heard the slight change in octave, heightening his own lustful thoughts. Usually after you've gone to bed." His fingers were played with the buttons on her blouse. Bonnie took his hand and moved it back around her waist. She liked it when he was close. He understood what she needed so he pulled her against him. His hands sliding down her backside. "How…where do you feed from?" Bonnie asked trying to disguise her keen interest. Stefan lifted her wrist to his mouth placing a kiss there. "Right here." Bonnie blushed looking into eyes.
"I don't think Kol would care where we fed from actually. For him it's all about the practicality-the advantage it gives us." Bonnie placed a kiss on his jaw. "And for you?" Stefan smiled. "Honestly it's all about those things but I savor the blood and the way it feels." Bonnie's tongue swiped across his lips. Stefan tongue met hers drawing them into a kiss. "Don't get me wrong. It feels heavenly, but there is still nothing like making love to someone you care about deeply. Kol would ditch me in seconds if you called him into your bed at night." Stefan chuckled. "I would drop his ass too." Stefan said hauling her in for another kiss. Bonnie was feeling a bit mischievous. "I don't know if I believe you Stef. You guys are awfully close." Bonnie's hands moved dangerously low. Her fingertips moved just inside the top of his jeans. "If Kol walked through that door right now and offered you a vein what would you do?" Stefan smirked. "I'd fuck you like I'm going to do right now then go drink his blood." Bonnie gulped.

Dusk settled over Blue Mountain. Kol, Matt, and Damon crouched, covered by brush, on a cliff overlooking the slope of the mountain. It was a warm for a night in the mountains in September. The moon was already glowing in the sky. It was ideal conditions for hunting.
Kol looked through the binoculars. He huffed handing them to Matt. "They're waiting for us. The bloody wizard knows were onto him." Damon snatched the binoculars from Matt peering through them. "They're guarding the perimeter. He might not know we're here." Kol shook his head.
"You really are useless aren't you? There are at least 15 muscle bound humans down there with big guns. They are patrolling with military precision. They have two lookouts in the trees, and a sniper positioned up the slope of the mountain. I don't know about you and the rest of your mates, but my Kitten isn't going through that. A. I won't let her. B. She is not going to want to fight humans under compulsion. Silas is clever. If that's the border imagine what else the bastard has in store for us." Matt took the binoculars back from Damon taking a look for himself. "Maybe she won't have too." Matt said counting the men. Damon paced and sneered, "This is the fastest way to the cavern and the eclipse is tomorrow night."
Kol looked at the vampire impressed, he had done his homework. "Besides the other side of the mountain is a tourist trap, again…you know how Bonnie is about innocents," Kol said thinking. "It looks like they're isolated. I see no sign of anyone else at the base of the mountain. If one of us circles around and takes out the sniper, and the other two take out the lookouts, the men on the ground should be sitting ducks for two vampires who take sadistic pleasure in spilling blood." Kol looked at Matt smiling. "Well look at that. The bloody human has some balls and brains. That's more than I can say for the rest of your merry band of friends. I was wondering how you had survived Mystic Falls so long." Damon pursed his lips. "It still quite risky. Bonnie told me the mountain is riddled with curses. There are probably supernatural creatures lying in wait." Kol smiled at how much fun he could have.
"So are we doing this?" Damon said to the original. "We can take these guys out to clear the way for tomorrow. So your precious Kitten, who has the power of hundreds of witches by the way, can be safe." Kol cracked his knuckles. "Pretty much," he said stretching.
"Matt you stay here, okay." Damon said patting his head. "We wouldn't want little Mattie getting hurt." Matt went back to the SUV and grabbed his bag. He pulled out his brand new assault rifle. He had wooden bullets, hollow points, and silver bullets dipped in wolfsbane and vervain. He also drank vervain and wolfsbane tea for breakfast every morning. "You were saying." Black veins spread across Kol's face. His fangs lengthened. "Alright then, let's do this."

Bonnie doesn't quite remember how she ended up on the desk, her leg thrown over Stefan's shoulder, but she was so grateful she had. Very grateful. Stefan thrust into her slowly, his right hand gently squeezing her breast. His left moved up and down her torso while he continued to rock into her. This was their third round. Stefan was so…fuck…no wonder Elena wasn't trying to give him up.
She lifted her bottom slightly off the desk clenching her ass to increase the wonderful sensation. Stefan eager to please stroked deeper, taking his time. She moaned. It was so delicious. Stefan chuckled happy to be giving her so much pleasure. Bonnie's eyes squinted up at him. She squeezed his cock on his next stroke, temporarily throwing him off rhythm. She giggled in response. Stefan growled finding his stride again. The pressure mounted every time he pushed into her, his pelvis would teasingly graze her clit.
She savored the feeling of him being hard inside her. He slid into her a little further his head hitting the right spot. The witch gasped. His brow rose. He had found what he was looking for. Stefan took aim and continued to move inside her until the witch squealed and was creaming all over him. Warm goodness eased from her. "Fuck…you're so wet." He whispered.
She was contracting all around him, dazed by the heat of it all. Stefan's thrusts increased in pace. He bucked, winding his hips one last time, growling as he filled her. He collapsed forward. He kissed her neck then chuckled at her expression. She was beaming. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. Do I get the job," he quipped laying his head on her chest. Bonnie looked at him. "You're a little cocky…no pun intended. I have a few more applicants to interview but you're definitely a contender." Stefan kissed her slowly, grinding his not so limp member against her center. She sighed blissfully. He was definitely a contender.

Barry saw something move about thirty yards out. He picked up his rifle looking through the scope. Trees and bushes stretched out before him in the twilight. A figure blurred between two trees. If he had blinked he would have missed it. Barry picked up his flashlight, signaling Sean in the other perch.
After a moment and no response, Barry shifted his scope towards the tree holding his partner. Sean wasn't there. His gun hung from a tree branch swinging back and forth. Barry peered through the scope increasing the magnification. Blood oozed down the tree and Sean was nowhere to be found. He picked up his light to signal his people on the ground but he was snatched backwards. He hit the ground with a thud.
The fall knocked the wind out of his lungs. His vision blurred. He must have hit his head hard. He reached for his rifle but he spotted its outline still up in his perch. He extended his arm feeling for the pistol he had hidden on his person when a boot crushed his hand. He cried out in pain, looking up at a raven headed man and a blonde kid holding an assault rifle.
"How many minutes between check in?" The kid asked sticking the barrel of the gun in his face. Barry grunted as the dark haired man ground the heel of his boot into his arm. The man stooped, peering into his eyes, pupils dilating. His eyes were ice blue. The stranger's commands echoed in his head. He felt like something was locking inside him. The kid repeated the question, and Barry heard himself answer, giving away his group's position and plans. I've been compromised, Barry thought. I know what I have to do.
His walkie squawked in the branches above, "Hawkeye 1, come in." He watched the guy with black hair leap landing in his perch. That gave Barry just enough time to secure his weapon. The kid was no soldier or he would have never let Barry's hands go out of sight. Seconds later his walkie was being pushed in his face. He croaked out, "This is Hawkeye 1 over." When the stranger pulled away the walkie, Barry quickly lifted his weapon to his mouth and pulled the trigger.
"Fuck," Damon exclaimed. Wiping bloody bits off his boot. "How'd you let him get a gun?" Matt stood there stunned. He had seen many vampires and werewolves die, but never a human, never like that. "I-." The walkie roared again.
"And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting. On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door." Damon and Matt stared at the walkie-talkie. Matt shook his head. "It's some kind of code." Damon sneered at the teen, "You think? It's Poe, The Raven." He lifted the walkie to his mouth. "And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming, And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor" Matt smiled at Damon curiously. Damon rolled his eyes dropping the walkie on the ground. "Read a book. We've got seven minutes."

The moon had risen in the sky. Kol sped through the forest dodging trees and boulders in his path. His heart was pumping. He had never felt more alive. Deep down inside he knew that he missed this. Hunting his prey, giving into his basic nature. He could smell him now. He smelled of cheap cigars, greasy food, and piss. This bloke wasn't very appetizing. Very few people got the proper nutrition and cared for themselves these days.
His game lay on the ground not really paying attention to the camp below him. He made for a poor sniper. Kol slowly stalked towards him. He was 5 feet away now. He could hear his heart pumping blood to the organs in his body. He flashed over to him lifting him off the ground.
The man didn't get a chance to yell before Kol was biting into his jugular crushing his voice box in the process. All Kol heard were gurgles, while the sniper fought to get loose. It was no use. Kol drank and drank until his meal was convulsing. He listened as his heart slowed and eventually stopped beating. Kol took one more swill then let his body fall to the ground, wiping his mouth. He didn't have time to savor his kill before shots rang out.

Silas was preparing the altar when Jas, the werewolf alpha walked in. She was a sexy thing, red hair and a round bosom. He and his Amara could have some fun with her.
"Silas… there is some commotion on the mountain below. Would you like us to check it out?" Silas walked to the entrance of the cave. He could clearly see gunfire below. They had arrived.
"No, I need you and your comrades up here near the entrance. You can't let anyone through. Guard the entrance at all cost." Another of Silas's followers stepped forward. "And what about us," Xavier said. "I want a third of the vampires on the mountain with the werewolf's. The rest will guard the witches while they finish their work. And spread the word…if you see a green eyed woman. She's priority number 1. Take her out first."
Xavier turned to leave, knocking over a rock, when suddenly he combusted. Everyone in the cavern turned and watched as the flame engulfed vampire thrash about the room until he turned to ash. Silas turned to Bao. "It looks like you're in charge now." Silas told the petite Chinese woman. She nodded heading out the door. "And Bao…do be cognizant of these cursed wards." Qetsiyah was picking off his army one by one. At this rate when her offspring got here she would have no one to fight. Well except for him of course. You just couldn't find good help these days.

Bullets were flying in from all sides. Hints of vervain drifted through the air. Silas was a bastard. Damon moved rapidly but a few of the laced shells still caught him in the chest. It stung but he had built up immunity to vervain. The damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. He leapt on a giant man ripping out his throat. He grabbed his gun spitting bullets at the tree line. He heard the shots as they pierced someone's flesh. Seconds later one of the many heartbeats died away.
Damon charged the trees. Mercenaries retreated firing at him. He quickly snapped the neck of the man nearest him, catching a bullet in his gut for his trouble. He cried out his flesh dissolving around the wound. Holy Water.
He kept moving through the pain. Where the fuck was Kol? He ran, snatching a gun out of one soldier's arms and beating him with it. He heard a twig crack behind him. A man was there with a massive stake lifted in the air. A bullet buzzed by his ear and the guy fell backwards, a wound gushing blood in the center of his head. He could smell Matt now. He couldn't have been more than a few feet away. Stupid fucking kid.
A round of fire flew up at Matt in the massive oak he was nestled in. He ducked feeling a bullet whip past his head. His heart was pounding out of his chest. His palms were sweaty. He steeled, looking threw his scope and took aim. The rifle kicked back but he held it firmly. A man dropped in the distance.
He looked through his scope again and Damon was surrounded. Seven men rushed toward the vampire. Matt fired again missing by an inch. He got two more shots off before one man finally fell to the ground. Two man turned taking aim at him. He dropped out of the tree hiding behind the trunk. Fire ricocheted all round him, and then stopped. He ran as fast as he could the other way.
Kol sped down the mountain toward the sound of bullets. He smelled Matt and followed the scent. Two of Silas's goons were blanketing him in fire. A gleam caught his eye. A soldier lay on the ground machete in hand. Kol scooped it up and slung it towards the two men. It sliced through the air decapitating them both. Their bodies collapsed in a heap.
Kol heard Damon grunt. Kol pivoted towards the sound. The raven headed vampire looked bad and was being riddled with bullets, but through sheer will and stubbornness he continued to fight. Kol ghosted over to his attackers, snatching two hearts out of the enemy's chest. Next, he ripped into one man's jugular throwing his body into another. He retrieved a gun and dispatched of the hired gun quickly as he struggled to get free of the corpse.
One lone survivor stood his gun in the air in surrender. He dropped to his knees pleading. Kol thought about Bonnie. The witch had ruined him. Maybe the soldier could be useful. He stepped forward to take his gun when Damon flashed over to him ripping into his shoulder. The man cried out in the night.
Damon fed until his wounds had closed. He stumbled to the ground completely high. Bullets were being forced supernaturally out of his wounds.
Kol surveyed the gore around them as Matt walked out of the trees breathing rapidly. Kol smiled at the boy his mouth and chin caked in dried blood. "I must say I rather enjoyed that, Quarterback. We should do it again sometimes." Matt looked at the original like he was crazy, when a shot rang out, and the blonde boy fell backwards. Kol turned. The assassin lay on the ground, a gun in his hand. Kol growled, speeding over to him, ripping off his head. He screamed tossing his head in the trees. Damon sat up just staring at Matt's face. His body lifeless, his blue eyes blank.

Caroline sat at the table beaming. Tyler was here. She had just had the best sex of her life and her Besties were having scandalous sex. Her and Tyler had snickered in bed listening to Stefan and Bon get it on. Her life felt pretty complete. They needed to end Silas and go about their lives. Bonnie could enroll at Whitmore, she saw the perfect comforter for her at the mall. They would have to work out the roommate situation though. Elena was a little obsessed with Stefan even while she's hooking up with his brother, and Kol couldn't stand the Gilberts. Caroline looked up at the brunette now. She was conspicuously checking the vampire out.
Not that Bonnie would notice she was lost in her head again. Probably going over some spell, or worried about Kol and Matt. "Kol hasn't called, Stef?" Bonnie said looking over at the vampire. He dropped his fork pulled out his phone. "No. Not since before." Stefan looked a little worried too.
Caroline looked over to Tyler. "Has Matt called you?" Tyler shook his head shoveling pasta in his mouth. "What about you Jer. Did Matt call you?" Bonnie asked. Jeremy looked up. He had been snotty all night. She was glad Kol wasn't here to witness it. "No," he said abruptly. Stefan sighed, his head cocking to the side. Bonnie placed a hand on his thigh under the table to dissuade him from whatever he was thinking. Yeah Jeremy was being a jerk, but could she blame him? They still had not had a chance to talk about their relationship. If the situation was reversed what would she think?
Caroline and Bonnie both looked at Elena. Elena looked up at her two friends. "Damon hasn't called either," she said pushing food around on her plate. "I tried to call before we went to dinner but didn't get an answer." Bonnie huffed. "Shouldn't they have been back by now? I just don't feel right." Stefan grabbed her hand. "I'll go try to call Kol." He stood walking towards the entrance of the restaurant. He had tried to reach him in his thoughts but the vampire wasn't answering or was too far out of reach.
Elena stood after a few moments. "I can try Damon if you like." Caroline rolled her eyes looking up at her friend. The only thing she was about to try was Stefan. Caroline looked at Bonnie trying not to smirk, but Bonnie was so worried she wasn't thinking. "That would be great Elena. Jer or Ty could you guys try Matt?" Caroline huffed. "I'll go," Jer said walking behind his sister. He was getting kind of worried for Matt too.
"Earth to Bonnie. I know you're like worried about your man and Matt, but if you're not careful Elena is going to try to take Stefan back." Bonnie pursed her lips. "Stefan is not mine, and Kol is not my man, Care. Yes. I love Kol and Stefan, but…she can have at it. You really think I'm going to be in some polyandrous relationship with those two don't you." Caroline shook her head.
"So you know…you're already in an polyandrous relationship with those two. The Nile isn't just a river in Africa, Bon." After a moment Caroline added.
"If your not serious about Stefan then maybe you shouldn't be letting him fuck you on office furniture." Bonnie looked at Caroline her mouth open. Tyler tried to look everywhere else except for at Bonnie. He wasn't mad at her. "I love you. I do, but Stefan is my friend too. He's already been jerked around by Elena, thrown in a Safe, burned alive." Tears came to Bonnie's eyes.
"I would never…" Bonnie started. Caroline took another bite of her steak. "I know. So maybe you need to stop denying what you want." Bonnie shook her head. "Everyone isn't as open minded as you Caroline. I'm not as open minded as you are Caroline. Plus Elena…" Caroline nailed Bonnie with a look.
"I care for Elena too but seriously? She's with his brother." Tyler nodded, twirling past around his fork. After a moment Caroline looked over to Tyler smiling..."I might need to find me a number two." Caroline said teasing Tyler. Tyler looked over to the blonde his brow raised.
"Okay…Let's see what you say after I tuck you in tonight." Tyler said leaning over to kiss her cheek. Bonnie looked down embarrassed. "Too much information." Bonnie mumbled. Caroline and Bonnie laughed with each other. They looked up when Stefan, Elena and Jeremy came back to the table with Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah in tow.

Kol paced back and forth cursing. His heart was breaking. He wanted to kill everything and everyone. "She's never going to forgive me. Why the fuck did I let him come?" He turned on Damon. "This is all you fault Salvatore. You just had to follow me out here on this mountain. I told you and that stupid kid I didn't need your help. Now the imbecile has gone and got himself slaughtered. What did you think? If you killed Silas, your brother would forgive you? Well he's not. You've fucked every woman he's loved, just to prove you're better than him, more deserving of Daddy's love. The ripper dreams of ripping you to shreds and dancing on your remains. He'll never forgive you. Just like Bonnie will never forgive me." Kol screamed sinking to the ground.
Damon was comatose. He just stared at Matt's form. Kol was right. Stefan wouldn't forgive him. Bonnie wouldn't forgive him, and now Elena wouldn't forgive him. Everyone loved Matt. He was a good kid. A brave kid. He deserved more than this fate. He deserved a quiet life with a wife and some kids. "FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKK" He screamed. He wiped at the tears stinging his eyes.
They both looked around when they heard it. Thunk Thunk. Thunk Thunk. They looked at each other bewildered. Matt was coughing and sitting up seconds later. They both sped over to him. "How?" Damon said looking over the boy. He watched as a bullet slowly emerge from his head and fell on the ground. Matt looked up at them. "What happened?" He asked winded. "A bloody bullet slammed into your brain, mate. That's what happened. How are you even alive right now?" Matt shrugged. "I don't know…"
He peered into the night. There was a woman standing amongst a group of trees. Kol turned following his gaze. He would know her anywhere. He was baffled. "Mum," He stammered. Esther watched her son in awe. "She really has changed you. The Bennett witches granted you this favor, Kol. Try not to walk in front of any more bullets young Matthew. You will only be spared once." They all watched as Esther disappeared into the night.

The door to Bonnie's room swung open. She leaped off the bed. "Where have you been?" She looked at the sight of him. He was covered in blood, and debris. Leaves and twigs fell off him as he moved into the room. Please tell me your not that stupid. You went after Silas with only Damon and Matt to help you. "I thinned out Silas's men. Make our task tomorrow a bit easier." Bonnie looked at him furiously. "You are so reckless. You went after Silas with MATT? If your life means so little to you then fine, forget that you have people who love you, but don't bring Matt into it?" After a beat Bonnie asked. "Are you okay? Is Matt okay? Damon?" Kol grimaced thinking of tonight. "Yeah." He sighed in relief. "We're all fine, Kitten." He went to kiss her. Then remembered he was covered in blood. He stopped midway. She reached up on her toes and kissed him chastely.
You went out there without me? I could have helped. Kol took off his shirt and boots. I trusted you with the most precious thing in my life. You helped. You helped tremendously. Stefan felt a little guilty thinking about what he and Bonnie had did earlier. Kol smirked at his expression. You don't have to cry Salvatore. I'm not a complete idiot. He moved to go in the bathroom. "Hey there's something I need to tell you. While you were gone…" Bonnie began. There was a knock at the door. Bonnie sighed. She walked over to the door and opened it. Kol glanced at the door and came face to face with his siblings. His fangs lengthened and he lunged for Klaus's neck.
I feel like I need to apologize. I pulled a JP on y'all. It just came out. Next Chapter is about the Battle with Silas. Bonnie's Battle with herself. Then there will be an epilogue. Expect these chapters sooner than later because my next multi-chapter story is calling to me. I hope you enjoyed!
