Authors note; eight everyone I got yea a new chapter here, this chapter was actually supposed to be a part of chapter 10, that I posted on Jun 20, but you know my writing program froze and it was already 11:30 at night and I was tired so I only wrote have of it and I'm just now writing the other have. Chapter 11, discussions
Neville sighd as he sat watching one of his newest Lions in front of him looking so tired and so lost, he couldn't help but think back on the meeting he had with the headmaster when the young Malfoy was sorted into his house...
(Flashback)
''Thank you for coming up to my office to speak with me Neville.'' the headmaster said as he motioned for his herbiology professor to take a seat. ''you must be wondering why I have requested your presence when you should be with your newest Lions, I'm betting'' Neville nodded his head at the headmasters words.
''Well, it's about young Mr. Malfoy'' the headmaster started. ''his parents were reluctant to let him attend this school,''the headmaster said placing his hands on his desk Neville looked questioning at the headmaster and asked, ''and why were Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy reluctant to let young Scorpius' attend their old school? The blond herbiology teacher asked.
''I believe I can answer that headmaster''. A strong American voice said, the two occupants in the room turned to see Alistair Smith standing in the doorway, Alden nodded and motioned for the American Medi-Wizard to take a seat next to Neville.
Alistair nodded to Alden and sat down in the open chair next to Neville, wands Alistair was comfortable he began to speak. ''you like many others most likely heard the rumors about the multiple kidnappings in America?'' he asked, Neville nodded to let the other man now he knew what he was talking about, ''well just after britain's second wizardIng war mini magical family's and muggleborn family's move to America to start a new after the war, well one of the family's who moved were the Malfoy's, Draco and Astoria, because here in the UK Mr. Malfoy could not find work because of him being a marked DeafEeeter.'' he Paused to let that information sink in before starting again.
''Please don't think me rude, but even after the second war those people who had followed that madman or supported him but were not charge to two being forced by their family's like Mr. Malfoy was worse still being treated like they were the lowest of the low, Mr. Malfoy could not find anybody who was willing to give him a job because of his status from the war even with Mr. Potter's help in speaking for him and the late Mrs. Malfoy during their trials. So with that being the case the newly married couple moved to America were they hope to find a better life for themselves in their family they wanted to start.'' He trailed off as he finished speaking, Neville still looking a bit confused. '' Alistair side,
I'm not allowed to go into much detail but just know that young Scorpius' was one of the many victims of the kidnappings and due to that has some emotional and physical problems that we are having to work through, the reason that Draco and Astoria didn't want to let their son go to school here was because that they are still very worried about his health and well-being. But at the same time the unknown party who kidnapped their son is still after the lad, just the other day I received a rather alarming note saying that the head of the American Aurors had received a note an a very''... He trailed off because he didn't know how to finish that sentence, ... ''A very disturbing package''
The room went silent as the other occupants of the room took in that information, until
Neville asked a question that was plaking his mind, ''do the British Aurors know that there is somebody still after the child?'' he asked now a bit worried about his young charge.
Yes the British Aurors are aware of the situation, and being that young Scorpius' is
so far the only child found after being kidnapped, his parents are even more worried which is one of the reasons why they send him here to Hogwarts instead of one of the American wizarding schools like Salem, is so they could hide him while the investigation is ongoing.'' Alistair said gravely, and with those words Alistair Ast if he could be excused stating that he had to two finish his lesson plan for the first week of school.

Neville side again as he turned to Alistair, the man looked tired much like Neville fellt, they glanced at each other once more before their gazes returned to the young preteen sitting on the divan in Neville's office
''so... Alistair started, would you mind telling us about your nightmare? He assed, but Scorpius just sapped holding his cooling cup of cocoa, the two men glanced at one another again before, Neville asked, ''so I noticed on your side table me read your bed you had a book opened, do you like to read?'' Neville thought it would be best to not ask about the nightmare so soon after the lab had just had it, he remembered trying to get Harry two discuss them, and a lot of people got yelled at, so he thought to be safe he would ask him about school.
But still Scorpius just sat there staring into the cocoa, there was a long moment of silence, the two professors thought they weren't going to get anything from the silent child win their was a small barely comprehensible whisper from the child's mouth.
''I en-joy the w, wo- wo- works of Margaret O'Donnellson.''
And with that the two professors helped Scorpius to forget his dream for a while and in doing so learned a little bit more about this little survivor.
