Akemi walked through the garden, she looked at the flowers and smelled them.

She stopped walking and looked up at the sky, she smiled at the blue background and the white clouds.

"Someday," She put her hand on her stomach as she stared at the sky with the wind blowing. "You will see the sunshine for the first time, and you'll find happiness. Like I did."

She looked down at her stomach and smiled.

"My light of joy."

Rin opened his eyes, he looked at the ceiling.

Akemi...Why am I always having dreams about her? And nothing else?

He moved his eyes away and saw the alarm clock.

3:36 AM

It's that late?

He moved his eyes to the floor, he saw Kuro sleeping.

"Kuro, what are you doing on the floor?" He sat up and saw Akari on the floor, she was on a thick blanket with a pillow.

She was cuddled in a ball, holding Kuro in her arms like a little kid with a teddy bear.

Why is she sleeping in my room?

Rin was going to freak out but he remembered what happened yesterday.

Flashback to 4 hours ago

Rin was walking out of the bath, he had a towel over his head. He shaked his hair dry as he walked down the hallway.

He looked out the window, the air outside was turning cold.

I wonder if Akari in this weather? It's going to be fall soon, it's gonna be cold later in the day.

He saw a black figure outside, it looked like a woman.

Wait, is that...Akemi?

The woman was standing outside in the cold, her eyes were on the ground but they moved up to the window that Rin was looking out.

Rin's eyes went wide, he stared at her. He ran down the steps and to the front door, he opend it and his eyes went wide.

"What are...you doing here?" He stared at her, he looked at her.

She had only a short dress on her body, her hair was over her shoulders and her skin went almost pale.

"Akari! You need to get out of this air!" Akari looked up at Rin, her eyes were blank and were heavy.

She fell into Rin's arms and went into a deep sleep.

"Akari!"

Back to the presant

Oh right, she fainted and I guess she fell to the floor without me knowing that she did.

He stared at her.

But she shouldn't sleep on the floor like that.

He bend down to the floor and crawled to Akari. He poked her cheek.

"Akari, wake up. You can't sleep on the floor." Akari opened her eyes a little, she looked at Rin and sat up.

She rubbed her eyes and looked at him.

"Come on, we got to-" Akari fell into Rin's arms, she had her head on chest and held onto his shirt.

Rin started to blush at her.

"Akari-"

"Warm...Warmth..." Akari said as she fell into a deep sleep. Rin gave a sigh at her, he lowered his eyes.

She's so sleepy, well isn't anyone at this time?

Her breathing was soft and calm. He smiled at her.

She sounds so peaceful, I shouldn't wake her up. But she can't sleep on the floor.

He put her in her arms and put her in his bed, he covered her in blankets and was going to sleep on the blanket but Akari grabbed his hand and held it.

Rin stared at her.

"Warmth..." She said in her sleep.

She's like a little kid with a teddy bear.

He looked around the room and back at Akari.

I don't want her to sleep alone...

He bit his lip and sat on the bed, he took off his shirt and climbed in the bed beside her.

Just for tonight, that's it.

He turned on his side and stared at the window, his eyelids went heavy and fell into a deep sleep.

Rin...Wake up...

"Rin! Wake up!" He opened his eyes and looked around the room, he didn't see anyone in the room with him.

Who was screaming at me?

He sat up in the bed and rubbed his eyes. He looked at his bed and Akari wasn't in it.

I wonder where Akari is?

The door opened and Akari walked in, she looked at Rin.

"Rin, are you wide awake?" She walked in front of him, he looked up at her.

"Yeah, I guess so." She gave a wide smile, she jumped on him making him fall back into the bed.

Rin was on his back as Akari was sitting on top of him, she had her hands on his chest. She stared at him.

He started to blush at her.

"Akari, what are-" She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He blushed more until he was bright red on his cheeks.

She pulled away from him

"Why did you kiss me?" He said to her.

"Like this?" She kissed him again just like before.

Why is Akari in this mood?

She looked at him and smiled at him, she gave a light kiss on his lips and pulled away from his face.

She stood up straight and looked down at him, Rin was blushing more.

"I wanted to know what that kind of love is." He gave a confused look at her. "I won't tell you until I'm ready to."

She put her head on his chest and closed her eyes. He looked down at her.

"I just want to be loved by someone who isn't part of my family or who are parents to me. I want love from a boy not a family member." She looked up at him, she put her hand on his cheek and felt the warmth on her hand.

She smiled at him.

"Warmth, that was the one thing that I wanted for the rest of my life, no one gave me any warmth in my life." Rin's eyes were wide but they were lowered, he sat up and put his arms around her.

"Warmth was the one thing I always wanted in my life and I've been in the cold since I was a kid. No one had the warmth that I wanted, they were cold as ice." Akari started to cry in his arms.

Rin gave a faint smile at her.

"I'll give you the warmth that you want. You will never be alone and cold ever again." He told her, her tears fell down to his shirt.

You won't be loveless.

During class

"Everyone will be fighting against each other in today's lesson, everyone will fight and no one will die today." Shura told them.

They all nodded at her.

"Now, you will all be choosing a piece of paper out of a jar and the person's name will be the person that you are fighting against. The winner of the first battle will fight the other winner of the second battle until the last two winners are left. Got it?" They nodded at her. "All right."

She grabbed the jar filled with paper, she held it in front of her and let one student grab a piece of paper.

She passed it to each one of the students until the jar was empty, she walked back from them.

"Everyone got a piece of paper?" They nodded at her. "Now open it and you will see who you are fighting against."

They all unfolded the pieces of paper and saw the names.

"Alright! I'm fighting against Sheimi!" Shima said to his friends.

"I'm fighting Nemu." Konekomaru said to himself, he looked at him and the puppet.

Rin looked at the piece of paper, he saw the name on the paper.

I'm fighting Shiemi. That means...

Bon stared at the name on the paper.

"Who are you fighting Bon?" Shima and Konekomaru looked at the name.

"It seems that Bon is fighting Akari." Rin looked at the paper and his went wide eyed.

But Akari is...

He remembered the night that Akari fought the demon with her sai's.

She can't...

Akari stared at the name on the paper, Luka walked to her and whispered in her ear. She kept her eyes on Rin, Akari didn't say anything to her.

Luka stood behind Akari the whole time, Akari looked at Sheimi.

"I'm fighting Izumo, isn't that great?" She smiled at her, Akari gave a small smile.

"Yeah, I don't really see Rin fighting that well since he doesn't have a good weapon with him." Rin gave a shocked look.

"What do you mean? Rin has a really sharp sword with him."

"But it's made out of wood." Sheimi stared at her and Rin too.

"Alright everyone, let's get ready now." Everyone walked onto the platform that was in the arena. "The first battle is Shima vs Sheimi."

Shima and Sheimi stood up and walked to the ladder.

"Wish me luck guys!" He climbed down the ladder and gave a smile in a few matter of minutes they both came back up the ladder.

"Well? Who won?" Shima gave a smile.

"No one, we both lost." They all gave disappointed looks.

"The next battle get ready!" They all waited for their turns, Rin looked at Akari.

She was looking down at the battle.

How does she not remember seeing my sword? It's not wooden.

The battle ended and Shura looked at the students.

"Next, Bon vs Akari." Bon and Akari walked to the ladder and climbed down.

They both stood far away from each other on the ground, Rin stared at Akari.

"I wonder what Akari is going to fight with?" Konekomaru said to himself.

Rin lowered his eyes at Akari.

"Get ready!" Bon took out his cross necklace.

"What are you going to fight with?" Akari took out a circle and draw blood on her finger, the blood fell down to the paper.

"By the song of the sirens, I call thy name that is the succubus of the demons!" Her demon came out from behind her and had her eyes closed at Bon.

"You're a tamer? This should be fun." Shura looked down at them.

"Begin!" She yelled outloud to them, Akari's demon opened it's eyes.

The lens were black and the cornea was bloody red, it gave a wicked smile at Bon.

His eyes were fulled with fear.

Her demon flew to Bon and held out it's hand that had long sharp fingernails, it was going to stab him in the chest.

His eyes were wide and sweat fell down his face, the demon smiled wickely at him.

Rin was going to yell outloud but the demon's hand went through Bon's chest like a ghost. Bon looked down at the demon's arm.

What?

"How come her demon didn't-"

"Her demon is a succubus, they can trick men's minds. It's one of their powers, her demon used the power to make Bon believe that she was going to kill her but didn't."

"So that was just?" Luka nodded.

"That's right, it was just a hallucination." Rin gave a look at Akari.

He looked up, Akari was running to Bon at a speed. She raised her skirt and took out her sai's, she ran past him but cut his arm.

He held it and looked at Akari.

How come...I can't move?

Akari stopped running and stared at him, her eyes were red instead of blue.

Luka stared down at Akari.

So...it's starting.

Bon stared at her with a scared look.

I don't want to die...please.

Akari ran to Bon and held the sai upright, she was going to stab him in the chest.

I DON'T WANT TO DIE!

Akari stopped running, she was in the postion to stab but didn't. The tip of the sai was inches away from his chest.

Bon stared down at Akari, he had sweat on his face and neck. He fell down to the ground and stared up at her.

She looked down at him, her sai was in her hand and her demon disappered behind her.

"Akari wins!" Rin gave a look at her.

What the hell was that? Why did Akari looked like she was actually going to kill him?

Akari gave a faint smile at herself.

When the day comes, the whole world will die and so will everyone.
