Chapter 30! We are almost there! Just a little bit more and the second arc HERE WE COME!
Marie crossed her arms, she looked at the picture frame on her desk. She smiled and lowered her head.
"I wish...you were here, with me. But you're not." She looked at her hand, her fingernails glowed with a bright color of green.
Mephisto sat in his desk with a vein popping out and a angry look.
"Do you even know what kind of mess you made? YOU BROKE MY PRICELESS ACTION FIGURE!" Amaimon held the broken plastic doll in his hand, he looked down at the broken doll.
"I didn't know it was fragile, I thought it was food." Mephisto sighed, the door knocked.
"Come in." The door opened, Akari looked in the room with a shy look. "Kari, it's been a while since you last came."
Mephisto stood up and walked to her, she closed the door behind her and kept her head down.
"You seem quiet, is something bothering you?" He stood in front of her, he put his hand on her shoulder but she slapped it away.
He stared at her, she kept her head lowered.
"Have you been taking those pills?" Her hand turned into a fist, she shooked her head. "You have to take them, they are the only things that's keeping your mind in balance-"
"Like hell they are! They aren't doing shit! They are just making her more mad and she's getting stronger!"
"That's why you have to keep taking them, they are the only things that help you sleep-"
"No they aren't! I'm always afraid that she'll come out and blood will be spilt, people will die because of me!" She put her hands on her arms and shivered. "She keeps telling me to kill, she wants me to let her feed. I don't want her to kill, not again."
He stared down at her, he lowered his eyes.
Little Akari was standing with blood all over her face. Exorcists were laying on the floor with deep wounds in their bodies, all around her. Akemi, Shiro and Mephisto stood in the room.
Shiro and Mephisto had lowered their eyes while Akemi ran to Akari, she fell to her knees and held Akari's shoulders and stared at her eyes.
"Akari, wake up! Wake up!" Akari's pink eyes turned slowly to bright blue, she blinked and looked at Akemi.
She had tears in her eyes and started to hiccup.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry mommy!" She cried outloud, Akemi put her arms around her. "I couldn't stop her, she kept pushing me around. It hurts!"
"I know honey, I know." Mephisto stared at the two.
"Do you see what happens when a demon and a human have a child? It would be a killer with no emotions, that's why you can't be with her. Your feelings can't become love."
Akari stood straight and kept her head down.
"Don't be controlled by her, she's only wanting your body and the powers that you have. You have to keep that anger and darkness pushed back, don't let her hurt you like back then." Mephisto told her, she put her hand on her chest.
"I...just...don't want anyone to know this side of me...I don't want...Rin to leave me. He's the first guy to ever tell me he loves me and to kiss me without any pain or regret, I don't want that kind of chance to leave me."
He stared at her and walked to her, he put his hand on her head and patted.
Her cheeks went light pink and her eyes lowered.
"You are so cute when I pet you, but when you have that kind of wanting that you have in your heart for a person. It's more cuter and it reminds me more of your mother."
"But I'm not like her!" She slapped his hand and her eyes turned angry and pink. "I will never be like her! She's different from me! You people will never understand, I can't be her! No one can!"
The window shattered and the pieces fell to the carpet, the door opened.
"Sir! Are you okay?" Marie and Luka ran into the room, they saw the broken window and looked at Akari and Mephisto.
Akari's head was lowered and Mephisto stared down at her, Luka walked to them and grabbed Akari's wrist.
"We had this talk before, you need to push her away. She's going to kill Mephisto with that power of hers-"
"Why don't you care about me? You only care about her! Why don't you understand my pain?" Akari yelled at her. "None of you understand like she did! Having a demon being kept inside of you, always telling you to kill people. None of you will ever understand!"
She pulled away her grip and ran out of the room.
"Akari!" Luka ran after her, Marie had her crossed and eyes lowered, Mephisto looked at her.
"You understand her feelings, having someone you love die." Marie looked away, she turned her back towards him.
"I see how she deals with that kind of pain that she beared but how she beared with it when she was only a child...I don't know how she even kept that pain inside of her heart."
Mephisto stared at her, he gave a grin.
"Even I don't know how she handles that pain inside of her, she's never really talked to me." Marie looked at him, her eyes lowered.
Akari walked fast in the hallway, her head was down and Luka ran after her.
"Akari!" She grabbed her wrist but Akari threw her against the wall beside them, Luka looked up at her with wide eyes. "Akari?"
Akari's head was lowered, her hand was shaking. She looked at Luka and gave a grin.
"Didn't anyone teach you to not touch a Demon Queen without her permission?" Her eyes were red.
"No, how are you even possessing her?" The evil Akari gave a grin, she leaned in to Luka's face and pitched her chin.
"Maybe I should cut you up in little pieces and feed you to the lower demons as the trash you are." Luka's eyes were in fear, she had sweat coming off her face.
"Please, Akari. Wake up!" The evil Akari smiled at her.
"Akari! Hey!" The Aya yelled out, the evil Akari gave a scowl.
Damn, that Ala. She's ruining my plan.
The evil Akari gave a grin and closed her eyes, her eyes opened again but they were blue this time.
"Akari?" The Ala stared at her, on the other side of the school in the hallway, Rin and his friends were standing and talking.
"Hey, isn't it going to be someone's birthday?" Shima asked them.
"Yeah, I don't remember who." Rin looked down at the hallway and thought.
I wonder when's Akari's, she's never told me.
The Ala looked at Luka.
"What's wrong Luka? It looks like you saw a ghost." Luka's eyes were still filled with fear, she looked at the Ala.
"I-It's nothing, I'm just tired." She put her hand on her head and looked at Akari, her body was still but she took a step back.
"Akari? Are you okay?" The Ala was going to touch her but she backed up against the window.
"Why?" She said as her eyes were wide.
"Akari, what's wrong? You look pale." The Ala was walking to her but Luka saw the black figure coming out of Akari.
"Leave my friends alone!" Akari yelled outloud.
"Ayumi!" Luka grabbed the Ala and pulled her away, the black figure gave a grin.
I wonder, will you break like glass if you fall?
Shima looked across from the window and gave a look.
"Isn't that Akari?" They all looked and saw Akari, she was against a window and the window started to open by itself.
Rin's eyes went wide.
The black figure pushed Akari and made her fall out the window, Ayumi's eyes went wide.
"AKARI!" Rin yelled outloud, Akari's body was falling.
I'm falling...
Mephisto turned around and stood up from his seat.
"What's wrong brother?" Amamion asked him, Mephisto's eyes were wide.
"Akari!" Yukio looked out the window and saw Akari falling with the black figure above her.
No, it can't be!
Her body soon fell to the ground, her body sounded like a puppet being dropped by his master.
Everyone looked out the windows and were shocked, some screamed and some almost threw up. Rin ran down the hallway, Luka's eyes were filled with tears and Ayumi's were wide.
"So...much...blood..." Rin ran outside to the courtyard where Akari fell, he ran to her and dropped to his knees.
"Rin! Don't!" Yukio ran to him and pulled him away, he tried to pushed him away but he couldn't.
"Akari!" He started to sob and he fell to his knees, Yukio looked down at him.
"Oh my god...Akari." Shiemi said as she covered her mouth, her eyes were wide and Izumo's too.
"How did this happened?" Mephisto hit his hands on his desk and gave a scowl, a tear fell down his eye.
"This...wasn't supposed to happen! She made a deal with us! She made a deal with her!" He fell down to the floor and put his hands on his face.
Marie walked out to the courtyard and looked at Akari's cut up body, she bend down to her and touched her neck and looked for a pluse.
No, this isn't supposed to happen.
"Mother Mary." She called out to her, with her head lowered.
"I understand." The time around her stopped, Marie put her hands on Akari's chest and touched her pentant, she closed her eyes and called out a chant.
"By my blood to your name, to your name to my heart. I call thee, the Demon of Flowers!" Her fingernails had a bright green symbols on them, the air around her started to blow and the cherry blossoms started to swirl into a medium tornado.
The tornado had a man inside and he stood behind Marie, he wore a dark color cloak with the hood covering his face.
"It's been a while now Marie." The man said with a deep voice, he gave a bow to her. "What is your wish?"
"Heal her, heal her wounds. Just enough to let her live, please." Marie said without looking at the man.
"Yes madam." The man walked beside Marie and bend down to Akari's body, he held out his hand. "Cherry blossom faires, come at my call."
The cherry blossoms swirl around the man's hand and flew to Akari, they landed on her cuts and started to glow a bright pink, the cuts started to heal and the blossoms stopped glowing.
"Come back my fairy children." The blossoms flew to the man and swirl around him, the man stood up. "Her wounds aren't going to give her pain anymore, they will still be on her flesh but they will heal soon by her power."
"Thank you, for helping her." The man looked at Marie, he kissed her head and whispered to her in her ear. He turned into a tornado on cherry blossoms and disappered.
Marie lowered her head and had tears falling down her cheeks.
"Thank you, so much. I could never repay you." The time around her started to unfreeze and everyone began to move again.
Akari started to breath slowly, Rin looked at her and crawled to her.
"Akari?" He put her in his arms and looked at her, he brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear.
"I'm...cold..." She said slowly in pants.
"Don't worry, I'll give you warmth no matter what." He hugged her and cried, Yukio looked at Marie and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Marie? Are you okay?" Marie kept crying and shooked her head.
"No matter what, I will always love you even with the sins that you have committed."
Levi, I'm so sorry...I'm sorry...sensei...
The mirror in Mephisto's office had a reflection of Akemi, she closed her eyes and looked at Mephisto. She walked out of the mirror and hugged him behind.
Don't cry, it's okay. She's alright, don't cry anymore.
"Liebe, I wish you were here." He said as he cried and smiled a little.
