Akari saw the dark red blood dripping down from the wall. Her eyes were wide, filled with shock.
No, no please. I don't want to see this!
The bodies were in the center of the room, they were lifeless and had deep wounds in their chests.
"Luka, Marie, everyone. They..." She put her hand over her mouth. She saw blood dripping from above, she looked above.
Her eyes had small tears as she stared at the body that had nails in his hands, feet, legs and arms.
His face was blank like a corpse, he had blood coming out of his mouth.
"No...Rin! Please. NO!" She yelled outloud, she reached out her hand but in a second, she was in complete darkness.
"I don't want this, I don't want their blood on my hands! I won't kill my friends!" She put her hands over her ears and shut her eyes closed.
"But you will." She looked up and saw the woman with black hair and red eyes.
She was floating above her, she gave a grin.
"Daphoene..."
"It's been your destiny, to kill the ones you love the most in the world and destroy the humans. It was chosen for you and only for you, I'm the one that hides in your soul and controls your mind. I'm you." She stared at her blue eyes with her red.
She reached out to her and grabbed her neck, she pulled her above her while she was choking her.
"No matter what, I will kill your friends and the one you love most in your heart." Akari tried to pull away from her but her hand was tighting, she was losing her strength and her eyelids were falling.
I'm...losing...consciousness
"I will make you feel the pain that I had to feel for 15 years and you will be in the darkness till the end of eternity. Which that will be never."
She let her go, making her fall down below her into the dark abyss.
"You will be under my control and my darkness will make your mind go insane."
Akari moaned in her sleep, Mephisto put his hand on her forehead.
A faint purple glow apearred around his hand and disappered slowly, he gave a deep sigh.
"I've used my power to keep you away from her dark powers but she's getting too powerful as we speak." He stared at her.
Just keep breathing, keep hoping and she won't touch you.
Rin knocked the front door, Mephisto opened the door and looked at him.
"Rin, you finally came after all this time." Rin lowered his head and looked at him.
"You look tired, have you-"
"Watch Akari for me, I need to work on some papers in my office." He grabbed his coat and walked out of the house, Rin stared at him. "Make sure that she's going to be okay and that she's breathing."
Mephisto opened his umbrella and flew up into the opening of the cove, Rin walked in the house and to Akari's bedroom.
He looked down at her and held her hand, he gave a small smile.
I'm just glad that she's okay and alive.
Dani's eyes went wide and her body felt like it was stabbed.
"What is it?" Marie looked at her, Dani put her hand on her chest.
"I feel her soul coming alive, she's waking up." Marie's eyes were filled with shock.
"What? Daphoene is waking up?" Dani ran out of the room and into the hallway, she ran to Mephisto's office and opened the doors.
"Ah, can you keep it down? I'm tired." Mephisto waved his hand as he laid his head on his desk.
Dani walked to him and slammed her fist on the desk.
"Who is with Akari?" He looked up at her.
"Rin is with her, I just left them at her house." Dani gave a scowl and ran to the window, she opened it and jumped out.
"Hey!" Marie ran to the window and saw a black shaodw going at a fast limit on the ground, it was moving away from the school to the ocean.
Rin...He's going to get hurt!
Akari groaned in her sleep and sweated, Rin looked at her and grabbed her hand and held it.
"It's going to be okay, you're going to be okay." He put his head beside her and let his eyes fall.
"I'm hungry, I need food."
Akari's eyes opened, her eyes were light pink and they looked down at Rin.
He opened his eyes and saw Akari looking at him.
"You're awake, I thought you never would." He gave a smile at her, she looked at him with heavy eyes.
Luka walked down the hallway, she held papers in her hands and heard someone running behind her.
She turned to look and saw Marie running, she ran past her.
"Marie! Why are you running so fast?" Marie stopped and looked at Luka.
"Daphoene is waking up!" Luka's eyes went wide and she dropped the papers, she ran past Marie and they both ran.
I promised...I promised both of them that she won't awake until the Day is here...
Rin looked at Akari and stood up.
"Do you need anything?" She didn't say anything at first.
"I'm hungry..." He gave a chuckle.
"I thought you'll be thirsty but I guess I'll make something for you." He was walking away from her but she grabbed his wrist.
He looked at her with a confused look.
"What is it?" She pulled him with a strong pull and threw him on the bed. "Akari...what are you-"
She put her hands beside his head and was on top on him, her eyes glowed a bright pink.
"I'm hungry...for your body..." She put her hand on his chest and popped open the buttons with her fingernails, she licked his chest with her tongue.
What is she doing? I...I can't move...
He blushed as she lifted her head and licked his neck.
Her eyes, they're not blue...They're...
She lifted her head up and smiled at him with her red eyes.
Red...Like blood...
"I need some food...I want your blood..." She moved her head closed to his neck.
It's just like that time...
He remembered the Haunted House and him bitting her neck.
She told me to bite her... Or was that the Akari that's on top of me?
She opened her mouth to show her fangs, she was close to his neck to bite it.
Am I going to die? Or...become a zombie?
He closed his eyes and pushed her away from him, she hit her head on the bed frame.
He sat up and panted, Akari looked at him with bloody red eyes.
"You little bastard!" She was going to jump on him but he pushed her off the bed to the floor.
Dani opened the door and saw Rin on the bed and Akari on the floor.
"Rin, come here!" She raised her hand and shadows from the room flew to her hand, it took the shape of a sword.
He ran to her and she pushed him behind her, she held the sword in front her.
Akari raised her head up and gave a scowl at Dani, she jumped to her and was hit in the stomach with the sword's handle.
She fell to the floor, Marie and Luka came in and saw Akari on the floor.
"Akari." Rin said as his eyes were wide.
"Grab her before she gets back up!" Dani yelled at them, they ran to Akari and grabbed her arms.
She tried to fight back but they weren't in her reach, Dani walked to Akari.
She put her fingertips to Akari's forehead, she closed her eyes.
"Amamion! Get over here and help!" Rin turned around and saw Amamion standing in the doorway.
He walked to Dani's side and put his fingertips on Akari's forehead.
"Tellus vi daemone rex reginae Da Noctis et te tua laurus viribus somnum!" Dani said outloud, a light appeared around their fingertips.
A shadow was around Dani as the light went into Akari's forehead, she yelled out in pain. The shadow disappered too but Dani's hair was green and her eyes were bright green.
Dani? You're...a...demon?
Akari's head lowered and her body went limp, Luka and Marie put her down on the floor gently. Rin walked to her and sat beside her, he put her head on his lap and stared at her.
"She'll be fine but the power that me and Amamion combined was too strong for her to even move so she won't wake up for another 3 days." Dani said to Luka and Marie, Rin gave a scowl.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM HER?" He yelled at her, Dani closed her eyes.
"Rin-" Dani put her arm in front of Marie, she walked to Rin and stood in front of him.
She raised her hand and a shadow flew around her, making her hair fly around her. The shadow soon disappered and her whole body changed.
She was taller, her hair was longer and more green, her clothes changed from a dress to tights and a long sleeve shirt with bandages around her torso, she held two swords at her side.
"I'm the Demon Queen, Lilith Empusa Desdemona Khalida Dysis, the Queen of Night and the Queen of the Lilitu and I'm here to kill the bitch that's inside of her." She pointed at Akari, Rin's eyes were wide.
Demon...queen?
