The classrom was loud with students standing or sitting with their friends, talking and laughing.

Rin had his head on his desk, he breathed slowly and his eyes closed.

I couldn't sleep last night...I kept thinking about Akari and the talk with Dani...

Last night in Mephisto's office

Rin sat in the couch near the bookshelf, Lilith, Marie and Luka were standing and Mephisto sat in his desk with his hand below his chin.

"...Is Akari going to be okay?" Lilith looked at Marie.

"Her body isn't bruised, I guess it's because of Daphoene is the one that was controlling her and she healed herself. But...there other bruises on her that won't heal, I guess it's from Daphoene's possossion but she will be fine."

"As long as the bitch inside of her is taking her royal nap, we have to keep injecting her with a sleeping drug so she won't let her wake up." Lilith said with her arms cross.

"Why? Why did you hurt her? She had nothing against you! What are you? Who is Daphoene?!" Lilith looked at him and walked in front of him.

"I'm a Demon Queen, a powerful demon that are sided with the Demon Kings to rule their power. I'm the Queen of the Succubus and I can control men's minds and their body." She touched Rin's chin and pulled in.

He gave a scowl while she gave a straight face.

"I'm also your half sister." His eyes went wide.

"Half...Sister?"

"Everyone who is a Demon King or Queen are bound by blood, that means they are siblings to each other." Lilith pulled away from him.

"But who is Daphoene? What did she do to Akari? Why is she making her act like that?" He put his hands on his head.

"She's also one of the Eight Demon Queens, she's also a young Queen so she doesn't understand anything about mercy or regrets of humans."

"But doesn't that mean-"

"She's also your half sister, she's one of the most bloodiest demons there was ever. She only drinks blood, she will only take a bath in blood. Blood is everything to her, she's what you humans call a 'vampire'."

Rin's eyes were wide.

"But they are just legends and stories."

"Oh, they are very much real, but they are portrayed in a different way in movies and books. Even the first orignal verison was a lie." Mephisto said as he waved his hand in the air.

"They were shown as ugly creatures in the night that have no feelings but now, they are beautiful and fall in love with humans. Humans are stupid when it came to legends and myths, they lie to make money or to have fame." Lilith said as she gave a scowl.

"Sister, can you stop being angry right now? I have a headache." Mephisto asked her as his eyes fell heavy. She looked at him with bright green eyes, she took a deep breath and her eyes turned back to it's regluar green.

"What are you going to do with Akari?" The three women looked at him.

"She's going to be staying at her house till the day comes."

"What?" He stood up with his eyes wide.

"Daphoene is regaining her powers, if we let Akari go out. That's the moment that Daphoene will attack, she will destroy the city."

Rin remember the time in Akinabara when Akari broke the windows with her scream.

"So I guess you have seen her attack before?" He nodded, he put his hands on his head.

"Oh god, if she can break windows with only a scream. What can she also do?" Marie put her hand on his shoulder.

"We won't let her kill anybody, not on our watch." He looked at Marie, she gave a small smile.

He gave a small smile back to her.

"How come you sense her but Mephisto didn't?" Rin asked Lilith as he looked at her.

"It's because, that idiot used too much of his power to heal Akari's wounds so he couldn't sense her at all." Everyone looked at Mephisto, he was sleeping at his desk.

"And that's why he is sleeping with no worry." Lilith and Luka sighed at the same time, they both looked at Rin.

"So make sure that no one knows the truth about Akari being possossed, just lie and go on your way."

Back to the present

Rin gave a sigh, he rubbed his eyes.

I had to lie to everyone that Akari is still getting better but they couldn't see her. I hate lying so much.

He's eyes fell down and he slept through class.

"Akemi? Are you okay?" Shiro and the other exorcist ran into the room.

"We heard that you passed out during a mission!" Akemi and Mother Mary looked at them, Akemi gave a smile.

"I'm fine, it's just lost of sleep." She said to them as she rubbed her head.

"You've been taking care of that child too much. Why not let Mother Mary adopt her?"

"Mother Mary had to take care of three children and Shiro too, she's fine now isn't she?"

"Yes but you are passing out, you need time to sleep." Mother Mary looked at Akemi.

"They are right my child, you need to let someone take care of Akari." Akemi's head was lowered.

"But I won't let anyone touch her! She's my baby and my only child, I won't let anyone hurt her!" She yelled outloud.

"Akemi..." The exorcist gave a shocked look as they stared at her.

"I won't let anyone take away my happiness."

Young Akari was running around the yard, she was chasing after a small rabbit.

"Are you sure?" Shiro asked her in the house.

"Yes, I will never give you my daughter. I'll have to rip out my eyeballs to give her to the likes of the nosey council." She slid the paperwork back to him.

"You will be taking care of a demon child, a child that's different from the other children-"

"So what! I gave life to her, you are taking care of twins. You understand how hard it is to take care of a little child that's different, a child that won't be able to control herself. I will take care of her till the day that she can take care of herself."

A hand touched Rin's head, he opened his eyes slowly and saw pink hair in front of him.

"Who? Who are you?" He looked around him, the classroom was empty and the color of dark red that came from the windows, lit the room.

"I'm a friend, a long old friend." He looked in front of him, a young woman with long pink hair covering her face.

She wore a white loose shirt that showed almost all of her chest and shorts, she had no shoes.

"Why are you here? Where am I?" She raised her hand to him, transparent arms came out from behind her flew to Rin.

They grabbed his neck and almost choking him, he tried to pull away from their grip.

They're...strong...

"Don't fight back, they are just going to get tighter." The pink haired woman walked to him, the arms pulled him in the air.

What do I do? Is she going to kill me?

"Do you care for Akari?" She asked him without looking at him.

"Why are you asking that?"

"Answer the question or I will choke you to death." The hands got tighter, he cough and gave a small nod.

"I do, I care very much for her."

"Do you love her? Love her to kill someone?" He coughed again and closed one eye.

"I will never kill anyone unless they deserve it, but I will beat up anyone who tries to hurt her." There was a moment of silence, the woman gave a grin.

"So that's your answer then?" The hands loosen and let go of Rin, he fell to the floor and coughed.

The woman stared down at him and bend down to him, she moved her hair away from her face and put her hand on his shoulder. She pulled into his face.

"What-" She kissed his lips with her eyes closed, Rin's eyes were wide.

He felt air going into his lungs.

Is she giving me air? She's saving me?

He stared at her, she pulled away and looked at him.

He saw her dark pink right eye with her hair covering her left.

Her eyes are like Akari's.

"You're a demon." She stood up and stared down at him.

"The Day is almost upon us, the death of humans and demons, the world is ending soon."

"The Day?"

"The Day is when her birthday comes, when the moon turns blood red and the sky turns black. When Daphoene awakes to kill." Rin's eyes went wide.

Akari's birthday? That's when everyone dies?

The woman walked away from Rin, he stood up.

"Wait, who are you?" She looked at him in the corner of her eye.

"I'm...the Father of the Monsters." He stared at her, his vision gotten blurry.

"Rin? Rin!" Shima's voice yelled through his ears, he opened his eyes.

"Wait!" He sat up and held out his hand.

"Who are you yelling at?" Shima, Bon and Konekomaru stared at him, Rin blinked his eyes and lowered his hand.

He looked at it and remebered the woman.

"No one, I was just having a nightmare." He looked up at them.

"Nightmare? It's one of those night terrors isn't it? You been having them a lot lately."

"Shima is right, ever since Akari enrolled in the acdemy you've been having them." Rin put his hand on his eyes.

"I know."

"Is Akari been knocking at your door?" Shima gave a wink at him.

"No you pervert." He gave a loud sigh at him.

"Akari's been acting weird ever since the car accident." Bon said to them.

"What do you mean?" Konekomaru looked up at him.

"I mean, she acted like she barely knew Rin after the accident and the duel that we had."

"You're right, she did acted a little weird when she did battled you."

"So? That means she beated you, that doesn't mean anything." Shima said to him.

"But, what if it does mean something. What if...she's like Rin?" Rin's eyes went wide and a girl screamed outloud in front of the window.

Everyone looked at her, she pointed out the window.

They looked and saw smoke out in the distance, near the ocean.

"What's that? What's burning?" Rin's face went pale when he knew what it was.

"That's..." He ran out the door.

"Rin!" They yelled out to him and ran after him.

Shiemi and Izumo saw the smoke from Shiemi's garden.

"What is that?" A black bird passed by Shiemi, she looked up at it.

It's...so...pretty...

She stood up and ran after it, Izumo looked at Sheimi.

"Sheimi! Wait!" She ran after her to the oceanview.

Marie looked out the window and saw the smoke.

"No. It can't be."

Rin stopped at the sidewalk and saw ashes in the air with flames above him.

No, Akari.

He looked in front of him and saw Akari standing in front of the fire, her face was blank.

"Akari." She looked at him with bright pink eyes, her ears were pointed. She gave a creepy smile to him.

"Flames, fire. Everywhere, burning and consuming. It's...amazing!" She gave a chuckle and started to laugh crazy.

Rin's eyes were wide and filled with fear.

"Akari..." Bullet hit Akari's shoulder and she fell to the ground, Rin looked beside him and saw Marie with a gun in her hand.

"Marie, what are you-"

"Rin, this isn't Akari. It's Daphoene possessing her, her mind is cosume by her evilness. We must exorcist her!" Akari stood up and gave a chuckle, the bullet dropped to the ground and her wound was healed.

"It...healed."

"You can't shoot me not with that weapon." Marie gave a scowl.

"Get out of her body you monster!" She ran after her with the gun in her hand, Akari held out her arms and the flames flew in front of her.

"Marie!" He covered his face with his arms from the heat, he saw a black cloak in front of him.

He dropped his arms down and saw a strike of lighting flew to Akari jumped in the air away from the lighting.

He looked in front of him, a man wearing a black cloak was standing with Marie in his arms.

"You almost killed my mistress." Marie looked up at the man and gave a shocked look.

"Levi." The man took off his cloak, showing his true face.

He had pale white hair, bright pink eyes and goat ears. He had brown goat horns, he looked like he was in his middle 20's.

He's...a demon...

Levi held out his hand and cherry blossoms flew around his hand, they turned into a gun and pointed at Akari.

"No, don't!" Marie yelled at him, he pulled the trigger and the sound of a gunshot echoed throughout the city.

Rin and Marie's eyes were wide with shocked.

Luka stood in front of Akari, she held out her hand to her side. It had gray armor on it, she held the bullet between her fingers.

"Luka, you..." Luka looked at Rin, he saw the change in her.

Her right eye was red but her left eye was green, her hair was short to her neck like it was just cut.

Luka...

"You are not allowed to hurt Akari."

"She almost killed my mistress-"

"'Almost', know where you stand Levi the King of Hana. I am a higher rank than you and I will be force to kill you." He gave a scowl.

"You have no rank from what I see from your eyes." She gave a scowl at him.

"Now, now. Enough of that." Mephisto dropped down from the sky, holding his umbrella.

"Mephisto." Rin said.

"We don't need a fight now, not while there's children around."

"Children?" Rin's eyes went wide and he turned around, his friends were standing behind him with shocked looks.

"Guys.."

"It's true, she's a demon. Like you, like them." Bon said and pointed at Levi and Luka.

"Miss Luka too, she's a demon..." Shima said, he dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head. "It can't be..."

"Guys... You weren't-" Shiemi put her hand over her mouth.

"Akari, she's...lost it..." Izumo said with her eyes lowered, her hand turned into a fist and she took out a magic circle. "I want my friend back!"

She bit her finger and blood dripped down on the paper and her Kitsunes came out to her sides.

"Izumo! Don't!"

"Attack her!" She yelled outloud, the Kitsunes ran to Akari.

Akari stood without a movement and gave a grin, she took out her sai's and cut them with one strike.

Izumo's face was filled with fear, Akari gave a chuckle.

It started to rain and the flames started to calm down.

"Do you think that'll hurt me you little fox bitch?" Akari gave a grin and was going to run but two exorcists appeared behind her and grabbed her arms, they pushed her down.

"Get down you filthy demon!" One of the exorcists yelled at her.

Rin looked at her and ran to her.

"Leave her alone!" Akari was kicked in the side and she hit her head on the ground, she closed her eyes.

She opened them and her eyes went back to bright blue.

"What? What happened?" She looked around her and saw everyone staring at her. "Rin? What happened? I don't remember anything, tell me! Please!"

Rin's eyes were filled with fear, he put his hands on his head.

No, please...What do I do?

Yukio stood beside Rin and put his hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay Rin, it's almost over." Shura walked to Levi and looked at him.

"We don't need you anymore, go back to the world where you belong." He gave a look at her.

"I only listen to my mistress's orders not you humans." Marie pulled his cloak.

"Levi, go. Please..." He looked down at her and gave a nod.

"Yes, my Mistress." He disappered into cherry blossoms and they fell to the wet ground.

Exorcists stood around the group, they bowed as Arthur walked to Akari.

"Akari Emiko Sasaki, daughter of Akemi Rena Sasaki. I put you under arrest of the True Cross Council for attempted murder of 4 billion humans and the murder of Akemi Rena Sasaki." He put his sword in front of her face.

"What?" Everyone had shocked looks.

"She...killed her mother?" Akari's face was filled with shock.

"I...didn't do! I didn't kill my mother! I-" Arthur hit her in the head with the butt of his sword, she passed out on the wet ground.

"We are taking her under custody of the law, do you accept these terms?" He looked at Mephisto, he gave a nod.

"Yes, I do."

"Mephisto! She's your god-daughter! How could you-" Luka put her arm in front of Rin.

"Don't say anything, this is hard for him to even think those words. Just keep your mouth shut and don't say anything." He lowered his eyes and gave a scowl.

"Let's go." The exorcists picked up Akari and dragged her along with them.

How could they? Do this to her? She didn't kill her mother...

I don't think she did...
