AN: This is AU season 5 so there a few things different here. Also Brittany doesn't go to MIT in this. There are also OC's in here too. I'm playing Blaine and Halles is playing Kurt.

AN 2: Hello. Sorry it's been so long but I'm back with a new chapter. I'm going to try and get the prequeal up later on this week IF I have time of course. But I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Chapter 9
It had been about a week or so since Kurt's night terror at the hospital. Everybody was back at home at the apartment and Kurt was possibly getting release from the hospital sometime this week but they didn't know yet. Meanwhile, Blaine was sitting down on the couch with a notebook holding on to a pen, the page was open but it was blank. He wanted to write but didn't know what to write. While Burt was talking to Carole in the Kitchen. Rachel and Finn were on Rachel's bed cuddling.
Kurt was in the hallway with Jake and Adam. He had been released this morning and wanted to surprise his family.
Blaine got so lost in his thoughts he started writing stuff that happened between him and his dad and what happened between him and Eli, he didn't even intend on writing that stuff. It was mostly his feelings.
Jake knocked on the door.
Carole called from the kitchen, "Blainey, can you get that please?"
Blaine didn't hear her, as he was distracted.
Jake frowned and knocked again
"BLAINE!" FINN!" Carole called "Could one of you please answer that?"
Blaine still didn't answer her.
In the other room, Finn told Rachel he would be right back and went to the door, he opened it.
Jake smiled when the door opened. Saying nothing, he stepped aside to reveal Kurt standing on crutches with Adam behind him supporting him.
"SURPRISE!"
Blaine didn't look up. Rachel heard and went to the door. "Hey guys." Finn smiled, Rachel and Finn let the three guys in.
Kurt smiled "I'm HOME!"
Carole heard him and came running, "KURT!" She laughed and smiled.
Burt came out, "Welcome back." Burt smiled. Blaine still hadn't put the book or pencil down.
Jake peaked in and saw him. He chuckled, "Looks like Blaine's in a zone."
Kurt laughed "That's ok. It'll make it easier to surprised him. So, can one of you help me get in. I...um..I haven't exactly mastered how to work these things."
Burt and Finn helped Kurt in. Rachel looked back at Blaine and knew what Jake meant.
Kurt smiled and thanked them. He then, with Adam and Jake's help made his way over to the couch, plopping down next to his boyfirend
Blaine was still in his zone, he knew Kurt was there but he just couldn't get out of his zone. To stop him, someone would have to snap him out of his thoughts.
Jake looked over and saw what he was writing. His eyes widened as he read. "Blaine...you know we can ALL see that, right?"
Blaine quickly shut it, he was shaking a little.
He was quickly wrapped in three sets of arms. Jake, Adam, and Kurt all held onto him. All understood. All cared. All were there for him.
Blaine let out a breath and then a small sob.
Kurt kissed him softly on the cheek.
Adam rubbed his back gently as he'd done for Jake so many times.
Jake held him in a one armed hug as he used the other hand to take the notebook out of his hands, placing it on the coffee table.
Burt went to talk with Carole in the other room, Rachel and Finn also went to talk with them. Blaine still had the pencil gripped in his hand tightly.
Kurt placed a gentle hand over Blaine's tense one. "Let it go Blainey. Just relax. It's ok. We're here now. You're ok"
Blaine bit his bottom lip and let the pencil go.
Kurt smiled and squeezed his hand "There we go." he leaned over and kissed Blaine softly. Blaine kissed back, he still had tears running down from his eyes. Kurt ran a thumb gently over Blaine's cheeks, brushing away his tears as he kissed him.
Jake and Adam held onto each other. They knew what this was like.
After a minute or so Blaine pulled away for some air, he then hiccuped.
Kurt smiled at him. "Hey there baby. Better?" Blaine nodded.
Kurt nuzzled into his neck. "Good. So...surprised to see me?"
Blaine smiled a little, "Yeah."
Kurt giggled "Got released earlier and I wanted to surprise you guys. Adam and Jake were my accomplices."
Jake smiled "It was fun.'
adam rolled his eyes. "It was INSANE! And Kurt REALLY wasn't kidding about not knowing how to work crutches."
"HEY!" Kurt said indignantly, "I'm not THAT bad!"
Jake chuckled. "Kurtie, you know we love you ,but seriously? Yes. Yes you are."
Adam smirked "You got your crutch stuck on a piece of gum and nearly fell through the steps into the subway tunnel."
Kurt blushed fervently "Shut up..."
Blaine giggled.
Kurt hid his face in Blaine's neck, completely mortified.
Blaine patted the back of Kurt's hair. "There there, Kurt... There there." He chuckled.
Kurt looked up at him "Do you MOCK me sir?" He was purposefully trying to sound like Thad did back in Warblers
Blaine chuckled again "Maybe I am... Maybe I'm not..." Blaine replied.
Jake and Adam laughed.
Kurt gasped melodramatically. "You DO mock me sir!" He chuckled slightly "Well, what shall be done about that?"
Blaine didn't know what Kurt was planning. And he didn't know what to say. Kurt smirked "Perhaps...a little...REVENGE!"
He reached over to where he KNEW his boyfriend was sensitive and tickled him mercilessly.
"Kurt! Kurt! That tickles!" Blaine giggled.
Kurt laughed and beamed. "That...is...the point!" Blaine was laughing.
Kurt smiled. He LOVED the sound of Blaine's laugh. Blaine couldn't stop laughing, Kurt was tickling him to much.
Kurt smirked "Do you surrender?"
"Yes! Yes I surrender!" Blaine exclaimed.
Kurt smirked and stopped tickling him. "I win!"
Adam chuckled and whispered in Blaine's ear. "Normally I'd say tickle him back, but in his current state that probably wouldn't be a good plan. However, I'm sure we can find other ways to deal with it..."
Blaine nodded after what Adam told him. "You won't.. be a winner... for long." Blaine explained, as he was catching his breath.
Kurt chuckled "Oh, I trust you will find a way to get revenge eventually. I wait with baited breath for that moment."
Blaine chuckled.
Kurt smiled at him.
Jake and Adam smiled at each other. They were glad they'd all found each other.
Blaine tried to think of a way to get Kurt back.
Kurt thought it would be good to change the subject before Blaine actually came up with something.
"So, you wanna hear the story of how Jake and Adam first met?"
Both the other boys blushed, but smiled too.
Blaine smiled at that. "Yes I would love too."
Adam hid his blushing face in his hands "Oh god."
Kurt laughed "Pay back is a BITCH Crawford! You embarressed me. Now I get to return the favor."
Jake rolled his eyes. "Fine."
Blaine winced a little at the word bitch but didn't make it visible.
Kurt squeezed his hand, a silent apology.
Adam sighed "Fine. Mortify me in front of your love with the story of how I found mine."
Blaine chuckled at how Adam responded..
Kurt smiled "Well, me and Adam were recently broken up. It was a mutual deal and we were still the best of friends.. We were at Apples practice...when Adam decided to show off."
Blaine smiled and continued to listen.
Kurt sighed "He does a standing backflip, and THAT is where it all went to hell."
"Oh boy..." Blaine said.
Kurt nodded.
Adam groaned "Got my foot tangled in a sandbag line. Some how two seconds later, I was suspended from the rafters."
Blaine chuckled. "Smooth move." Blaine said sarcastically.
Adam sighed "I know, ok? I have no clue how it happened, but it did."
Kurt rolled his eyes "Ya, so anyway. Me and the other Apples called 911. We got firemen who climbed up and cut Adam down from the rafters. And EMTs ..."
"I don't remember alot of it, "Adam sighed "But apparently I was screaming."
Kurt nodded "Ya..you were." He looked at Blaine. "The rope and the ride up broke his ankle."
"Wow... that must of been terrible." Blaine said.
Adam nodded "It was."
Kurt smiled softly "Yes. But that why the EMTs were there. And one of those EMTs happened to be..."
Jake raised his hand "ME!"
Blaine chuckled again. "I figured it would be.." Blaine said.
Adam nodded and smiled. "Ya. Once they got me down, Jake took over and..." He blushed hard.
Kurt smiled "It was like magic. The second Adam was in Jake's arms. He just...stopped screaming. He calmed down instantly."
Jake smiled and nodded" Granted, he was still crying and in pain, but ya. He calmed down."
Blaine smiled, he continued to listen to the story.
"So, they took Adam to the hospital." Kurt sighed "I road with him in the ambulance and Jake.."
"Was cracking jokes to distract me the whole time." Adam smiled.
Jake smiled warmly and kissed him. "When Kurt said he was 'the ex-boyfriend/current best Friend' I KNEW I had to go for it. Not everyday you run into a hot, british, NYADA, single gay man who needs your saving."
"That's sweet." Blaine said.
Adam nodded "While I was in the hospital, Jake checked in about every 5 minutes. We talked and bonded and, by the time I was released a few days later, we had a date."
"Aww... Jadam's first date!" Blaine said with a smile. Blaine thought of them, as Jadam. There couple name, although he kinda thought it was lame but he didn't care.
Kurt pumped his fist in victory. "HA! TOLD YOU that was an awesome ship name!"
Jake rolled his eyes. "Yes...yes you did Kurt."
Adam sighed "Anyway, while I was still layed up, Jake...there are no words to describe the chivalry!"
Blaine chuckled, at Kurt.
Jake kissed Adam gently "I would do it all again in a heart beat."
Adam laughed "Let's pray you never have to."
Kurt smiled and snuggled closer to Blaine. Blaine smiled.
Jake smiled, though it was somewhat sad "And you've done alot more than that for me..."
Adam hushed him softly "You don't need to talk that right now if you don't want."
Jake shook his head "No. I'm ok. I've told you all...and Kurt most of it. And If I EVER expect Blaine to trust me.." He looked away from his boyfriend to meet Blaine's eyes "I have to trust him back."
Blaine held on to Kurt's hand, he listened as well.
Jake was about to speak, when his phone rang . He sighed and answered it. "Hello? Who is..."
He stopped dead and froze and went deathly pale, eyes wide in pure horror.
"J-jake? is everything okay?" Blaine asked.
Leaving it on a cliff hanger. We had the conversation between Carole Burt Finn and Rachel, but I decided to leave that out and continue with just Kurt Blaine Jake and Adam. The conversation wasn't even that long anyways in my opinion, but if you do wanna read it let me know and I can get that too you. :) But anyways. I know it's not as long but next chapter will be a bit longer hopefully. I hope you liked this though annd please review! Again sorry I haven't updated for a long time and I promise that won't happen again :)
