AN: This is AU season 5 so there a few things different here. Also Brittany doesn't go to MIT in this. There are also OC's in here too. I'm playing Blaine and Halles is playing Kurt.
AN2: I forgot to mention that Jake, Jason and Minnie are Halles's original characters, not mine! xD Also as an apology for not updating for so long, I decided to make this a long chapter :) So I hope you all enjoy.

Chapter 10
Jake was about to speak, when his phone rang . He sighed and answered it. "Hello? Who is..."
He stopped dead and froze and went deathly pale, eyes wide in pure horror.
"J-jake? is everything okay?" Blaine asked.
Jake's hand shook as he hung up the phone. He swallowed hard and shook his head no. "Jason..." He choked out.
Adam swore and Kurt gasped.
Adam pulled his boyfriend into a hug. "What happened? Where is he?"
Jake shook his head "I...I don't know. Just...no. Not jason. I PROMISED! I SWORE I'd keep Jase and Minnie SAFE! Now...now my he needs me...and I can't go to him." Jake was in tears. "He...he pissed off my dad again Adam. My Father...when he gets mad...You KNOW what happens when he gets mad!"
"Kurt what's going on?" Blaine asked nervously.
Kurt swallowed and took a breath. "Jason is Jake's little brother. Jake's dad...is a crime boss. Jake ran away and got out of the buissness years ago. Jason...didn't. Now...from what I'm hearing...it sounds like Jason is in trouble. Did SOMETHING to make their father angry...and their father most likely beat the living shit out of him."
Jake trembled in Adam's arms. "THIS is what I'm afraid of. I...it's NEVER dad hitting me. I can handle that. No...it's when he goes after Jason..or GOD FORBID Minnie..."
"Minnie is his younger sister" Kurt explained. "She's out of the buissness too...or at least she was last time Jake checked on her."
Adam hushed him and held him "It's gonna be ok Jake. We'll find Jason and he'll be fine."
Blaine bit his lip.
Just then, Jake's phone rang again. Adam quickly answered it. "Hello? Yes, this is him." he listened and sighed in relief, a smile on his face, "Oh god! You have no idea how much you had us scared, JASON."
At the mention of his brother's name in such a way, Jake perked up. "Jase? Is he ok?'
Adam nodded. "Here. Jason, TELL you brother youre alive before you kill him with a panic attack."
He handed Jake the phone and gesture for him to go out to the hall. Jake nodded, taking the phone, kissing Adam, and running out.
Kurt sighed and smiled, "So...Jase is okay?"
Adam shrugged, "Don't know about okay, but he's alive."
Blaine stood up, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Blaine said. Just as Blaine left to go use the bathroom, Burt came out.
"Hey everything alright in here?" Burt asked.
Kurt nodded, "Everything is fine now dad. We'll tell you if we need your help, I promise."
"Okay...I was just checking up on you guys.." Burt said, he went back to the kitchen. Blaine came back from the bathroom.
Kurt nodded as he left. He scooted over to make room for Blaine when he returned.
Jake poked his head in. "Hey...is it ok if I..."
Kurt and Adam both waved him off.
"GO! Make sure your brother is still in one piece."
"Bring him back here if you need to. He'd be safe here where no one in the buissness can find him."
Blaine sat next to Kurt.
Jake nodded and ran. His brother was in deep trouble.
Adam sighed and shook his head "I REALLY wish he didn't still have to deal with that crap. Jake is OUT. He should be safe. But...with Jason still under his father's control..."
Kurt nodded "I know, but there's nothing we can do. You remember what Jase said. We all KNOW why he stays working for that monster."
Adam nodded "I know it...doesn't mean I have to like it..."
Blaine didn't know what to say about all of this.
Kurt squeezed his hand "Jake will explain all this later. It's a LONG story..."
"Okay." Blaine said.
Glee!
20 minutes later, there was a knock at the door.
"Hey! It's me!" Jake's voice came.
Adam bounced up and went to the door.
Kurt smiled and nuzzled into Blaine. "Well...he sounds happier."
"Yeah he does." Blaine said.
Adam opened the door and sighed "Well, you two both seem to be in better shape than I expected you to return in."
Jake laughed and walked in, supporting a smaller hooded figure. He leaned forward and kissed Adam softly "You know I can hold my own against those assholes Adam." He looked down at the figure and smirked, "Jase, on the other hand, THINKS he can, but really..."
Jake pulled back the hood. Kurt looked away. Adam sighed sadly.
The guy looked like a younger version of Jake. A 17 year old version. surem there were slight differences, but other wise the resemblence was striking. At least...it would be if his face hadn't been bruised and bloody.
Jason rolled his eyes and groaned "I KNOW, ok? I screwed up big time! Got in over my head."
Blaine didn't know what to say again.
Rachel and Finn came out, "Who's this?" Finn asked.
Jason got a guilty look on his face. He looked up at Rachel. "Um...hi. It's...good to see you again Rachel...though not like this."
"Hi Jason.." Rachel said.
Jake smiled "Finn...meet my little brother Jason."
Adam sighed "You MIGHT wanna go find your mom. She's a nurse, right? Jake might need a little help with this one. Jason REALLY got himself screwed up this time."
"Yes she's a nurse. I'll go get her." Finn said going to the kitchen
Jason looked at the floor. "I...I'm sorry Rachel. I know I told you I'd stay out of this shit...but...but they..."
Jake hushed him and pulled him close. "It's ok. You already told me. You did the right thing Jase. " He looked up after Finn "Thanks Finn"
Rachel didn't know what to say.
Kurt sighed and squeezed Blaine's hand. "Sadly...this is NOT the first time this sort of thing has happened."
"It happened before?" Blaine asked..
Kurt sighed "Yes...and knowing Jason it WILL happen again."
Finn came back in with his mom.
Blaine nodded.
Carole swore and ran to Jason. "Who..."
"My brother." Jake answered. "DON'T ask what happened. It's a long story..."
Carole nodded as she and Jake took Jason to sit on the coffee table.
Kurt sighed "He has to stay with them...but that doesn't mean we have to like that he has to. He has his reasons for staying. When those reasons are gone...Jake is getting his brother the hell out of there."
"Good.." Blaine said. Blaine saw his journal on the ground, he picked it up kept it in his lap.
Jake and Carole worked their magic and got Jason cleaned up. The poor kid didn't say a word the whole time.
"He gonna be okay mom?" Finn asked.
Carole nodded "He'll be fine. Nothing we can't handle here. At least...nothing YET we haven't handled here."
"I don't understand what you mean..." Finn replied.
Jake sighed "She's saying there might be injuries we don't know about yet"
"Oh..." Finn said feeling stupid.
Adam sat with Kurt and Blaine.
Blaine ran his hand on the notebook, wondering if he should talk about. He new now probably wasn't the best time but he was still thinking about.
Kurt kissed him gently "Later baby."
Blaine kissed back, he pulled away a little, "I know.." Blaine said.
Kurt smiled softly at him.
Carole nodded "Mostly, I'm worried about his left ankle and right arm. They could just be sprains, but the chance of a broken bone is definently there."
Jake nodded "Plus the risk that he my have gotten a concussion."
Jason muttered something under his breath.
Finn saw heard Jason mutter something. "What was that?" Finn asked.
Jason teared up slightly "It was either ME or Minnie. I am NOT letting those bastards hurt my little sister...not again."
Kurt gasped slightly and Adam swore. Minnie. THAT'S why Jason had been fighting. Someone had threatened his baby sister.
Jake sighed and pulled him close "You did good Jase. It's ok. Minnie's safe. You did what had to be done to protect her. I'm proud of you"
Jason nodded and curled closer to his brother.
"Is everything going to be okay?" Blaine asked.
"Everything should be just fine... hopefully." Kurt answered.
Going to end chapter ten there and I already have chapter 11 started. In the next chapter you will Minnie xD but anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter and please review.
