The Jack in my system is making it hard to remember why I am sitting here thinking in the first place. See this is why I like drinking. It lets you forget all the shit in your world and just let go. Like for example my mate. This is fate and I know better than to fight fate. It still don't make life any easier. All the people in my life now are the people I thought hated me. My life is turned upside down once more. Nothing really to do now but go along with the flow of it all. Let them handle the things I just can't right now. I will not just take a back seat to all this shit. It's my life and I have a say in it.
I relies I have been sitting here silent for a while now and I look over and Jasper is watching me like I have lost it. I can't help it I giggle, he looks like he has to take a shit. "What's so funny?" he asks
"You look like you have to take a shit." I get out in-between giggling at him.
Ok I may be more drunk then I thought I was. You would think after all this time I would not be effected by Jack this way but damn that hit hard. He just shakes his head and smirks. My emotions I know affect him and are making him feel like I do. Oh I love this shit. Now I know why I like this family so much. Its like a light bulb going off over my head. I jump up and turn to Jasper.
"Shit I finally got it. I understand now. Damn im stupid it took me way to damn long."
He's looking at me like I lost it and I just wave him off. I need this very dysfunctional family. My crazy ass family. Just then the door opens and I run at them. Carlisle stops looking like a deer in headlights as I jump on him. He catches me easily wrapping me in his arms and it hits me just how much I missed him. I place kisses all over his face and he laughs.
"Not that I dislike this kind of welcome but is everything ok." He asks
"Oh its alllll ok, I finally understand." I slur out and he knows I have been drinking. He shoots a look to Jasper who just shrugs and walks over to Alice. I love the little pixy who grins and eases the whole thing. Em and rose just chuckle and Peter and Char look like they are about ready to pounce on each other. Yupp my crazy ass vampire family. Got to love them.
"Well we got the cars whenever you all are ready to hit the road Jack." Peter finally manages to say after his eating of Chars face. I seem to be the only one who thought that was funny. I get several crazy ass looks from the group.
"What it's a song? I can't believe no one has heard of that but me and Pety." As I say the name the vampire in question growls at the name that I know he hates. He growling causes Carlisle to growl pulling me closer to his body. The same body I can't help but to rub myself up on. His growl instantly turns to a purr.
"Ok ok as happy as I am you both are mates let's not show us the proof right here and now. We do need to get going soon." Rose is the one to put a stop to it this time. I sigh and climb down knowing she's right but can't stop the pout that fills my face. Em laughs at me as I stop off to take care of some human needs that have shown.
"Ok I need to eat and several of you need to feed so I'll take Carlisle and the rest go feed we will meet here when finished." I say as I walk back into the room. "We will leave once we all are done. Watch the time and keep phones on." They all look at me like I have lost my mind. "NOW."
I laugh as they all scatter and here Carlisle doing the same. I put a pair of boots on and walk out the door knowing he will follow. "Where are we going?" He asks me once were walking down the street.
"There is a sandwich shop down here and you're going to buy me dinner before I'm shoved into a car like a sardine." He just laughs and follows me along. Good Mr. Vampire, I can't help how crazy in the head I am. God this food smell so damn good. I decided on a simple burger and fries and a coke. Sitting down and digging in I see he is watching me like I'm some kind of class lesson. I raise my eyebrow at him and stop eating. He ducks his head. If he was human he would be blushing. I can't believe how fucking cute that really is.
"I'm sorry you eating is just so…." He trails off at a loss for words. I nod getting what he is saying and go back to my fucking good food. In ten minutes time I'm finished and full. We head on back and no one is there. They may be gone a while.
Sitting down on the couch I wave Carlisle over and he sits down. "I'm glad you all came back. I didn't relies how much I missed you all till you all came back. And that's how we spent the hour till the family came back. On the couch talking. Playing 20 questions and knowing each other better.
The rest of them come in and after several showers and a few trips to pack the SUV they got to fit us all in. Were packed in and on the road. I think I'm up for some driving songs.
