AN: This is AU season 5 so there a few things different here. Also Brittany doesn't go to MIT in this. There are also OC's in here too. I'm playing Blaine and Halles is playing Kurt.
Chapter 14
Doc sat in the lobby of the hospital waiting. As the glee club came in along with Kurt and Blaine behind them.
Kurt came forward with Blaine. "What..."
"Minnie's okay." Doc interrupted "Eli got in a few lucky shot, but for the most part she's fine."
"Oh thank goodness." Cat said.
"That's good." Blaine said after.
Kurt, however, was able to read between the lines "And...Eli?"
Doc sighed and shook his head "Now THAT is a completely different story..."
"What happened?" Blaine asked.
Doc shrugged "I don't know 'll have to ask Minnie. All I know for sure, is that Eli is going to be out of the picture for a LONG time..."
Blaine couldn't believe what he was hearing. It was over? "So it's over?" he asked.
Doc nodded "It's over." He swallowed, "Do..do you wanna see him? See what Minnie did to him? I will warn you its sort of graphic. Almost made me PITY Eli. Minnie REALLY went to town."
Blaine opened his mouth but couldn't find words. "I... I don't know..."
Kurt squeezed his hand "I say yes. I wanna see with my own eyes that Eli can't hurt B anymore. Finn...maybe you could come too? And Blaine...if you REALLY don't wanna see it...you could always go talk to Minnie?"
"Yeah I'll come..." Finn said.
Blaine thought for a minute. "Okay... I wanna see him..." Blaine said.
Doc nodded "Ok. You guys come with me. The rest of you...just sit tight."
The others nodded. Blaine went with Kurt, Doc, and Finn. They headed out of the ER...toward ICU. Blaine took a deep breath and let it out.
Kurt swallowed hard, "Is Minnie down here too?"
"No." Doc answered "The only reason she isn't released already is because she's a minor and she needs someone over 18 to sign her out."
"Should I call Jake and Jason about this Kurt?" Finn asked Kurt. Blaine was quiet the whole time.
Doc shook his head "I'll call them later. Now... now isn't a good time." They got close to Eli's room.
Doc sighed and turned slightly in his chair "You sure you're ready for this Blaine?"
Blaine took another deep breath and nodded.
Doc bit his lip "It's not just the Eli thing that has me asking. What you're about to see...it's disturbing to say the least. And...it was MINNIE who did it. I know you feel ready to se Eli in person again. But...just...Are you sure you're ready to see what Minnie is capable of doing?"
Blaine nodded again.
Doc sighed and nodded. "PROMISE you won't judge her for what she's done?"
Blaine shook his head. "I won't, I promise."
Doc nodded "Good. Ok...here goes hell."
He opened the door.
Blaine walked in holding Kurt's hand, Finn following behind them.
The sight in front of them was worse than they could've expected.
Kurt clapped a hand to his mouth and made a sound. After all the time he'd known Jake and his family, NEVER had he thought any of them could be capable of something like this. He almost...ALMOST felt...SORRY for Eli. Seeing him laying there...
Even though Eli hurt Blaine, Blaine couldn't help but feel sorry too. Blaine became even more quiet then he did back out in the hallway. Finn gasped slightly when he saw Eli.
Eli laid motionless on the bed. His skin was a deathly pale, covered with bruises and scratches and blood hair was a mess and had some unidentifiable substance in it. His left eye was swollen. His lips looked blue and were cracked and bleeding. Most of his body was covered in bandages and casts. He was hooked up to multiple machines.
Blaine didn't know what to say or do...
Kurt swallowed "Is he..."
"Not DEAD" Doc assured him "Comatose yes. And he's most likely going to stay that way for a long time."
Blaine did not know what to say... He was just standing there looking at Eli.
Kurt squeezed his hand, "Do you wanna go now baby?"
Blaine nodded. "Do you wanna go visit Minnie?" Finn asked.
"Yeah.." Blaine said quietly.
Doc sighed "Before you go...you might wanna think about what you're going to say to her..." Blaine and Finn nodded.
Kurt nodded "That sounds good. Don't wanna end up saying something we regret."
"I'll show you where she is." Doc rolled out of the room. Blaine followed.
Kurt stayed close to him as they walked, Blaine sighed.
They reached the room Minnie was in.
Blaine and Finn walked in with Kurt and Doc.
Minnie looked up at them. She was mildly injured, but nowhere near as bad as Eli. She sighed "Go ahead and say it. Whatever you're going to say...just say it."
"I don't what to say... " Part of Blaine wants to tell Minnie thank you because of her now Eli wasn't going to be bothering him or Kurt for a long time.
Doc rolled forward and took her hand. "I talked to the police. Considering what Eli has done in the past, the fact HE went at YOU first physically, and the fact that you're a minor and he's not, they assured me they won't be pursuing you with any sort of charges or an investigation. Just...they asked me to make you promise to call them BEFORE to go off the handle next time."
Minnie smiled slightly "That's a deal I'll happily make." she sighed and her smiled dropped "But...now you see what I'm really like...what I'm really capable of doing."
Blaine and Finn nodded.
Minnie swallowed and looked at them "Please...just say something..."
Blaine sighed, and finally said. "Thank you... now I won't have to worry about him anymore... now I don't have to scared." Blaine told her. Although he still felt bad about Eli he had to say what he said.
Minnie nodded. "I know PEOPLE like him. I know what he's capable of. I've grown up with those kinds of people. I couldn't let those sorts of things happen to you." She swallowed hard "I...I wasn't going to hurt him. Not at first. Just...talk to him...scare him off. But then..." she stopped.
Doc sighed "You don't have to hide it Minnie. They should know."
Minnie shook her head "No. The police don't even know yet. And they can't find out till...the secret is ready to reveal itself."
Doc sighed "Minnie..."
Kurt bit his lip "Something else happened in that house, didn't it? Something you're not telling us."
Minnie swallowed and nodded "I'm sorry guys. I wanna tell you...but I can't yet. It's not the right time."
"It's okay Minnie... You can tell us when you're ready..." Blaine said understanding.
Minnie groaned and shook her head "No Blaine. That's the point. I CAN'T tell you. It's not my secret to tell."
Blaine then understood. "Oh I see..."
Kurt suddenly released what she was talking about and gasped "Oh my god! Eli...he was doing what he did to Blaine to someone else when you got there wasn't he?"
Minnie swallowed hard and nodded. "That's where the blood in the pictures he sent you came from." Blaine was shaking a little.
Doc sighed. "The guy and his boyfriend are in the back of my van right now. I have enough med training of my own right that I was able to help him so he doesn't have to come in here and face a million questions. Minnie...she beat the shit out of Eli because he wasn't stopping. She was giving that poor guy the chance to run."
"Dang..." Blaine said, he was speechless.
Minnie bit her lip. "You..you could go out and see him? "
Doc smiled "That's a great idea Mousy. It might be helpful to both of them."
"Okay... " Blaine said with a nod.
Doc kissed Minnie's cheek goodbye and rolled out, leading them to his van. Blaine followed.
They got to the van. Doc knocked on the door. "Hey. I've got some friends with me who wanna meet you. Can I come in?"
There was a slight commotion happened inside the van before a familiar voice came out "Ya...come on in. But...try to be quite, ok? He's still a really shaken."
Kurt gasped. That was Karofsky's voice! HE was the victim's boyfriend! Blaine was shocked himself, he went in with Kurt, but was quiet as a mouse.
Dave gasped when he saw them "KURT! BLAINE! What are you...oh shit! You...you're the 'B' that bastard was talking about, aren't you?"
Kurt nodded sadly "Ya he was."
Dave swallowed hard, not sure what to say
Kurt gulped "And I take that's your...boyfriend" He froze slightly at what he saw. The boy had his face hidden in Dave's neck, so they couldn't see who it was...but they could see he was wearing a disheveled Dalton uniform.
Doc was a little surprised they knew each other, but let it slide.
Blaine didn't know what to say at all.
Dave nodded somberly "Ya...and it's someone you know."
Kurt's eyes widened "It is?"
Dave nodded.
"Sebastian?" Blaine asked quietly.
The boy looked up. It was indeed Seb.
Kurt gasped. "Oh my god..."
Seb curled closer to Dave. He looked so different from the last time they'd seen him. His confidence was gone. His bitch mask was destroyed. His eyes were bloodshot and his face tear-stained. The fear he felt was written all over him. He was physically and emotionally broken.
"My goodness." Blaine said quietly.
Kurt peaked out the car door. "Finn...you might wanna see this..."
He somehow sensed that having FINN tell him things were okay would make Seb feel safer.
He crawled over to Dave and Sebastian. He took Seb's hand and squeezed it. "It's ok now Sebastian. Eli is gone. You're safe now. We all are." He reached behind him and took Blaine's hand too.
"He won't hurt you ever again." Blaine said, "I promise." Finn came in.
Seb nodded. He hadn't spoken yet, and Kurt wondered if there was something wrong with him keeping him from talking. He start tearing up again and reached forward to hug Kurt. Kurt hugged him back tightly. tHis was not the meerkat he knew. This was Sebastian. And even if it had been the meerkat version, no one deserved what Eli did.
Dave smiled softly at Finn. "Hey Hudson..." He said softly. He waited to see how Finn would react
Finn didn't know how to react, supposed he was slightly shocked that it was Sebastian who was the victim... Blaine rubbed Sebastian's back gently and calmly.
"Hey Karofsky." Finn said.
Dave nodded to him "I assume you know my boyfriend...Sebastian."
Finn nodded, "Yes, I know him." Finn said.
Seb shivered under Blaine's hand. He felt disgusting and stupid and scared and hurt and..just not good.
Blaine stopped and pulled his hand away when he felt Seb shiver.
Seb looked up at Finn and bit his lip. He was nervous of what Finn would say.
Kurt swallowed hard. This wasn't normal. Why hadn't Sebastian spoken yet?
Dave sighed "And you know he's not the same as he was before, right? He's changed just like I have."
"I can tell." Finn said. Finn honestly didn't know how to respond to all of this.
Blaine started to think, Kurt was probably thinking the same thing. Why wasn't Sebastian saying anything?
Kurt saw Finn felt awkward. He signaled for Finn to sit with them. To treat this silent, upset Sebastian as he would if it were Kurt or Blaine.
Dave knew what they were thinking. "He's not talking because he can't right now."
"He can't?" Blaine asked confused.
Dave nodded "Long story, but ya. His throat and his voice are basically shot. It'll come back, but for now he can't speak."
"That's awful..." Blaine said.
Kurt shook his head "How? What happened?"
Seb sighed and tried to sign out what had happened. He made a face like he was yelling.
Kurt swallowed "You lost your voice screaming?"
Seb nodded and made a 'Yes and' gesture. He stuck his fingers in his mouth and then gesture to his throat.
Kurt frowned "I...don't know what that one means."
Dave shook his head "I've been trying to figure that out too..."
Blaine was trying to translate what Seb was saying.
Seb added another movement, trying to make them understand. He wrapped on hand around his throat and covered his mouth with the other.
"Did he choke you?" Blaine asked.
Seb nodded and did the 'Yes and' gesture again. He put his tie in his mouth. Blaine still tried to understand.
Kurt suddenly got it. "Oh! He stuck something in your mouth and into your throat. He tried to gag you!"
Seb nodded and tapped his nose in the charades sign for "Yes"
"He managed to gag me when he ... raped me." Blaine told Sebastian.
Seb nodded. He gestured in a way that clearly meant Eli had done the same with him. Had more than tried. Had gagged him. Had raped him.
Seb curled closer to Blaine and held onto him, sort of cuddling into his side. Kurt watched them, smiling sadly. He didn't feel even remotely jealous. The way Seb was nuzzled into Blaine was not in a way trying to steal him. Not in the slightest romantic. It was two people who shared a horror connecting for security. It was Seb reaching out in fear and a feeling of helplessness, latching onto Blaine, someone who understood, comfort and safety.
Blaine hugged Seb, staying quiet. "I'm gonna give you guys some space and go check on the club." Finn said.
Kurt nodded "Go tell them where Minnie is. Maybe show them Eli if you're feeling brave. But...please don't bring them out here. Not yet at least."
"Yeah sure." Finn said with a nod and left the van
Seb tried not to cry again. He got as close as he possibly could to Blaine. He felt safe in his arms. Not in the way he did Dave. Its was different. With Dave, he felt safe because they loved each other, and he knew Dave would do anything to protect him. With Blaine, it was because he understood EXACTLY what had happened, and Seb knew 100% that Blaine had no interest in him in any way other than as friends and confidants. He could trust Blaine. Blaine knew exactly what Seb was thinking and feeling without Seb having to say a single word.
"He can't hurt you anymore... he can't hurt us anymore..." Blaine said to Sebastian.
Seb nodded, tears welling. He had thought he could trust Eli. He had thought he was a friend. He pulled out his phone and handed it to Blaine. On it was a text from Eli.
Bas! SOS! I need your help. Meet me at my place-Eli
Blaine sighed and shook his head at the text.
Seb swallowed hard, trying not to cry again. He took his phone and sent a TEXT TO Blaine of what he wanted to say
I met him at Scandals last year. He seemed so NICE. I trusted him. I thought he was my FRIEND! -Sebastian
Blaine replied back to the text.
I met him at the Lima Bean. I trusted him too... I thought he was also my friend. We both were tricked. :'( -Blaine. He sent the text.
Dave and Kurt were reading over their shoulders, as they were supposed to be. Kurt wrapped an arm around Blaine and Dave wrapped an arm around Seb . They glanced at each other. As much as Seb and Blaine now shared a connection, Dave and Kurt did too. They were the lovers of those who had been hurt, They were the people who had to help them heal.
Blaine let out shaky breath.
Seb sent another one.
He's really gone? That girl really got rid of him?- Sebastian
Kurt read it and squeezed his arm "Ya. Minnie beat him up really good. He's...comatose right now. He can't hurt you anymore" He hugged Blaine as he spoke, making sure he believed it.
Dave pulled Seb into his arms. "It's ok Bas. You're still scared, I know. I see the tears...just let it go."
Seb's wall completely fell and he started crying again. He quaked with silent sobs as Dave cradled him in his arms.
Blaine hugged his boyfriend Kurt burying his face in his shoulder.
Kurt held him tightly. He ran his fingers through Blaine's curls comfortingly. "It's ok baby. You're safe now." Blaine tried to hold in his tears.
Kurt sighed and held him tighter. "Just go ahead and cry honey." he whispered "No one in this van will judge you."
After Kurt said that Blaine let out a sob.
Kurt and Dave sat there and held their boyfriends, letting them cry as GOD only knew they needed to.
Blaine started remembering what happened as he cried.
Kurt held him tight "You're safe now. I promise."
I think I'll end the chapter there. I'll try to get in an update in the next couple of day.. Key Word: Try.
I have to watch my nephew tonight and tomorrow and hopefully I can get one in, during that time but if not I'll get one in later. School will be starting soon and that means things will get busy, again. But I'll do my best for updates. I've been busy this summer and that's why I haven't been updating as much as I should.
