It was a cool fall night, the wind gently ushered the fallen leaves through the empty streets...BOOM!
"Ahh!" Chelsea shot up from position on Vaughn's lap banging her head on his chin in the process.
"You ok? If it's too scary we can do something else..." Vaughn rested his hand on her hair as she layed back down.
"I'm ok getting scared is the point of watching scary movies!"
"She's right you know." Jill said poking one of Chelsea's feet.
"Hey! Cut that out!"
"No fighting ladies. It's dinner time!" Skye put a pot in the middle of the table.
"Let me guess curry right?" Vaughn looked over but couldn't see the contents from the couch.
"Oh don't worry dear brother in celebration of fall I put in mushrooms" Skye began putting the rice on the plates.
"don't you ever get tired of curry?"
"Not at all there are so many variations it tastes like a different dish every time and-"
"Ok ok lets just eat." Vaughn cut him off before he went on a curry tangent again. He slightly lifted on of his legs and Chelsea quickly got the message and sat up.
After diner Jill and Skye said their good-nights and went back to their own house. Vaughn sighed as he plopped himself down on the couch. "I'm sure glad he finally left..."
Chelsea giggled she stood behind the couch and rested her head on his. "Say Vaughn?"
He made a small hum as he lifted his head slightly upwards. "You wanna go out with me?"
"Eh? W-where is this this coming from?" He looked down deciding to focus on his hands.
Chelsea suppressed a laugh and climbed over the couch to sit next to Vaughn. "From my heart silly! But seriously though I'm a bit tired of playing house."
Vaughn, having regained his composure, raised an eyebrow "Playing house?"
"Ah no that came out wrong. It's just we kind of act like a couple but you never kiss me or anything so I figure if we make it official we wouldn't be so platonic." Vaughn stared at her for a few moments. "Please say something..."
Exhaling somewhat loudly he looked up at the ceiling. Looking back at Chelsea he smiled a bit "I love you." Chelsea hugged Vaughn tightly and almost started crying. "wha- shouldn't you be happy?"
"I am I'm super really ultra happy!" she let go and rubbed her eyes with her palms "So can I kiss you now?"
"Hmm well you know men have certain needs. Are you willing to satisfy them?" he smirked as she began to blush
"Well I uh um y-" he chuckled a little and patted her head.
"Sorry it's ok I won't do anything you don't want I promise" before she could respond he moved his hand to the back of her neck and kissed her.
