Henry: Hi everyone. Sorry that it has taken so long or this to update, been dealing with a lot lately. Anyway, I want to thank my amazing reviewers, you guys really do put a smile on my face when I read your comments.
Russell: Yay I finally get a chapter. I just want to say-
Jamie: We do not own Harry Potter and nor do we wish to.
*Henry and Russell exchange looks.*
Both: TACKLE!
Jamie: WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT!
Russell slowly looked around as they arrived in the train station. "We're going to a big magical school, where we can apparently fly on brooms, brew potions and use magic... and... we're catching a train?" He raised his eyebrow as the other two boys stepped forward. Jamie had a emerald cap resting on his inky spikes while his fringe was swept across his eyes. He wore a tight black shirt which suited his body, oh so perfectly in Russell's opinion, while his eyes kept wondering to the skinny jeans which perfectly modelled his secret crush.
Parker watched him carefully and the Latino delivered a glare. Parker as usual wore his muscled shirt with the sleeves rolled back. But today the boy had decided to wear his sports shorts. Russell could plainly see Jamie's glance moving to the sportsman's legs, every now and then. As if it wasn't hard enough to get Jamie's attention. His thoughts growled.
When Jamie finally tore his eyes away from Parker long enough to look at Russell the boy had marched forward onto the platform as he pushed his trolley. "Hey, Russell wait up!"
"I wonder what train takes wizards to a school for magic..." He avoided Jamie's questioning gaze as he looked around for some sign.
"Maybe its the Virgin train line." Parker grinned and both Jamie and Russell turned in synch as they pulled back their fists and punched him.
"We warned you earlier about the innuendos." both snarled.
"OW!" Parker rubbed his jaw as others started turning around, taking more notice of them. "Did you both have to punch me?"
Both exchanged a long glance before coming to a decided; "Yes."
It seemed to go on for ages. All three of them walking around in circles, pushing their trolleys while people began to notice them more and more. "Okay, we're apparently three wizards... and yet, we can't even find our train." Parker growled as he finally got fed up and lent on the back pillar between platform nine and ten. "You make us sound like we're all powerful, but we're just three kids!" Russell finally snapped.
"What the heck's up with you?" Parker frowned as he looked at the smaller boy.
"I am so sick of your egocentric personality! You think you're the best. You are just pathetic Parker!" Russell almost screamed.
He remembered when the boys had all first met at the school. He had been the new boy back then... it felt so long ago, the days when he was in an ordinary school and the worst thing he ever had to worry about was his test results...but even so, he had hated Parker when they had first met, as well.
-Flash back-
It had been raining that day, lightning had been chasing through the storm clouds as a merciless thunder boomed through school. Russell ran a hand through his wet hair as he stepped into a large hallway. His eyes wondered down the corridor's of lockers under the arched, oak framing. "Very humble..." Russell muttered as he pulled out his schedule.
9:00-10:30 - Art
10:50-11:50 - English
13:30-14:30 - Drama
14:30-15:30 - Music
He slowly looked up from his timetable with a shinning but unquestioning look. "Okay... this has got to be the best school ever."
"Ha, new kid."
"He will learn soon... hey, am I that easy to forget about?"
Russell slowly turned his head and fixed his eyes onto the most handsome guy he had ever seen. Black hair fell over his eyes and framed his perfect, sculpted face. The boy was leant back against a locker. "Take a picture. It lasts longer." The boy grinned before turning his head back to the other speaker.
The boy was handsome... Russell guessed. Tall, muscular. He wore sports gear that fitted him perfectly and showed off his sheer strength and body. "Do you like staring at all the boys?" he wondered.
Yeah, Russell definitely didn't like this boy.
The black haired boy slowly pushed the taller boy of him. "Oh Parker... grow up a bit... and get a bit of practice." It was funny almost, the way that the smaller boy punched the guy named Parker, with his words before walking down the corridor, swaying his hips ever so slightly that it made both of them hunger to chase after him.
Now here was the problem.
Russell slowly closed the space between them as he shoved the Latino boy up against the wall. "You need to remember your place. Here at the school, imagine it like a medieval world. There's me; the school King. Then there's the boy you just met, Jamie; my Queen... and you?" He looked the boy up and down disgustedly. "You're a peasant."
-End of flashback-
He stopped before he could go further into what happened next. His eyes locked onto Parker with complete hatred which he had held back for Jamie's sake. "I'm so sick of following you. You're a moron and I complete think you should-"
but he couldn't finished before Parker lunged forward and both boys went crashing through the pillar.
That's right; through the pillar.
As they tumbled onto the ground and slowly looked around as the crowd walked by them as though boys falling out of the walls was a usual thing that just happened to go on around here. "You know?" Both boys turned back to the face the shimmering wall which they had fell through, both paled slightly as they could hear the frustration frown upon the boys voice. "You both are such idiots sometimes!"
"Whoa.. Jamie, wait, wait!" Parker screamed as his trolley came flying through the wall and chased after him as though it had a mind of it's own.
Russell chuckled as he watched the boy swerve in order to avoid the snapping suitcases and rocketing trolley. It was a few seconds before he realised that his own trolley had neatly come through the passageway and was parked perfectly next to him... was it him or did it look as though they had even been cleaned?
Rosula was lay on the trunk as the cat slowly moved into it's cage. "I half expected it to eat me." Russell raised his eyebrow at the trolley for a few more seconds before a head stuck out the wall. "Expected... what to eat you?" Jamie looked down at him with a mischievous look which made Russell's heart want to explode out his chest. "Didn't you...?"
"Didn't I what?" Jamie turned as he saw Parker running frantically. "What... the hell? I only shoved it through the wall! I didn't..."
"Don't worry about it." Russell quickly said as he noticed the pale flash run through the boys face. "Hey Jamie.. That day when we first all met... we're you and Russell-"
"ALL ABOARD!" a shout echoed across the platform as the whistle roared into life. "Saved by the bell" Jamie muttered quietly, but not quietly enough that Russell didn't hear him.
That was when they both finally took a look around.
A large scarlet engine, freshly painted, glimmered in the sunlight. "Oh." Jamie's jaw almost dropped to the floor.
"My.." Russell's eyes widened.
"GOD!" screamed Parker as he ran past chased by the enchanted trolley.
"I so need to learn how to do that." Russell grinned before grabbing Jamie by the hand and pulled him into the long line of carriages while their trolley's were taken.
Both ran down the corridor before coming to their own compartment and falling back into their seats with a grin as they laughed.
But it was short lived.
As Jamie turned his head to look out the window he saw a couple of the older parents glaring pointedly at him. At first Russell thought it must have been because he and Jamie we're still holding hands. "So not everyone is still up to the idea of people dating who ever they want..."
"Um... Jamie?" Russell noticed two old ladies with joined arms as they kissed what must be presumably their daughter. No... they are not limited like most mortals... if it's not that then... why do they hate Jamie so much! he too frowned but not before Jamie whispered. "Well if that's how they feel... how about we give them a sight that will make their blood boil?" He grinned as his eyes locked with Russell's, "You in or what?" Jamie frowned slightly after a few seconds had passed. If I tell him they are not glaring at us because of that, he will know they are just glaring at him. "Russell, this is what you wanted, a free opportunity to kiss me. Take it now, or leave it."
"B-but J-Jamie... I-... I don't know how..." For the first time Jamie finally became aware of the look in Russell's eyes.
"You never been kissed?" his eyes widened slightly as Russell slowly nodded self-consciously and avoided his gaze as he blushed brightly.
"Yeah... so? I always imagined... you would be my first kiss."
Jamie grinned.
"well when you put it like that."
Russell almost fell back when he felt the warm embrace of Jamie's lips, claim his. Jamie's hands slowly moved up the side of his face as they grabbed onto his hair and they pushed more into the kiss as a groan escaped from Russell. "That good eh?" Jamie whispered before slowly pulling back and breaking the kiss apart.
Leaving one very, red face, blushing Russell, with his mouth still slightly open as he stared at the dark haired boy. "Show off." he whispered before his mouth turned up and a grin and he looked outside. No one was glaring at Jamie any more.
They were all looking at him... as though they were fearing for his safety.
"I don't think they got the point." He grinned as Jamie raised a surprise eyebrow before putting on a Cheshire cat smile.
"Well we can't have that can we?" Both fell back onto the seat as they sank back into their kiss.
-Break-
Russell slowly blinked his eyes open as he stared into Jamie's face. He would die just to see those perfect emeralds... Yes, he would die just to make sure Jamie was happy. He never could explain it, he just knew that he was drew to Jamie, the same way a moth was drew to an open flame. The same way Winter was drawn to the land as the year grew old.
He would be there for Jamie... As long as Jamie was happy, that's all that mattered to the boy.
A few hours had passed and both boys were still laid back on the seat and stared outside at the passing countryside. "So, how was your first kiss... actually on second thoughts, all that groaning tells me, that I think you enjoyed it."
"Ego inflated maniac." Russell grinned.
"Inexperienced Romeo." Jamie shrugged as he pulled his arms more tightly around the smaller Latino.
"We will be arriving soon." Russell sighed, "I don't want to move... but we've got to get changed."
"Five more minutes." Jamie murmured as he closed his eyes.
"venit in Jamie" Russell slowly sat up as he pulled out his jumper and began changing his clothes.
"Nice draws." Jamie laughed softly before getting changed too. "No... No way in hell... Nuh uh." Jamie looked at the long robe and tossed it back into his suitcase. "No way in hell am I wearing that."
"You can say that again." Russell agreed as he tossed the robe back.
"FIRST YEARS STEP THIS WAY!" a voice boomed and both boys looked outside to see that the sky had turned to night.
"No way..." Jamie shook his head. "It was midday a few seconds ago..."
"That's impossible."
"Jamie was right."
Both boys glared at the doorway as they saw Parker with his wand in hand. How could he of cast a spell! He doesn't even know any magic! Parker looked both of them up and down for a few seconds before he gave a dark grin. "Those were nice draws, Russell." he laughed before he ran off.
"That son of a-"
And that's how Jamie ended up beating the living daylight out of Parker for only the second time that day.
-Break-
The boys all stepped forward as they walked under two wide golden doors. "Hogwarts castle for witchcraft and wizardry." Russell looked around at the candles floating under the stormy grey sky... hang on... sky? "Jamie...?"
"Don't worry, I see the strange candles floating in a thundery sky which shouldn't be there..."
"Okay... glad it's not just me."
As all the kids filed down the gap between the long oak benches they all looked around at the chuckling older students who had began to check out the fresh stock. Wizard school or not... the kids are just the same. Russell thought but was soon brought out of his head as a voice shouted out. "All students file out. You will be claimed now into one of the four houses; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. No house may be swapped, all decisions are final. When I call your name you will step forward."
It took Russell a couple of attempts before he managed to stand on his tiptoes and get a decent look at the speaker; she wore a tight dark green robe which curved into her. Long blond curls fell down to her waist and as she moved the braided flowers glistened. He noticed more than one boy in the crowd moved forward to get a better sight. "I am professor De Cobray welcome to Hogwarts and good luck." she unrolled a thick list as she began to read off the names. "Parker Malfoy!"
Parker slowly stepped out of the crowd and unfolded his arms. Russell grinned as he noticed the fresh, red smack mark across the boys cheek and the purple bruising forming around his eyes. "You know, you didn't have to- oh crap!" Russell's eyes widened as he watched a dusty old, leather hat placed on Parker's head which slowly began to move. "Hmmm, Interesting... A Malfoy by any other name is just as dark." a voice laughed out as Russell slowly made out the movement of a mouth on the hat. The way certain parts of it folded made out the shape of an empty face. "Such darkness behind a mask. Ooh this is delicious. You hide behind a mask of a mask. Any way, I certainly know where to put you. SLYTHERIN!"
A whole row of tables erupted into applause as their new member rose a little shaken from his seat and rushed over to join his new family. "Typical of a Malfoy." a few kids whispered.
"Just like before."
"I wonder if he's going to be like them?"
"Russell Lestrange!"
He felt himself gently pushed forward as Jamie nodded at him encouragingly. All eyes slowly moved onto him as he took a seat under the hat. but the moment it touched his head; "Be true to your nature. Gryffindor!"
"IMPOSSIBLE!"
"THIS IS SO WRONG!"
"SHUT IT!" Jamie's voice roared out as his fringe fell over his eyes. Slowly people turned around and began to settle. But as Russell sat, people glared at him. All eyes were either full of fear or full of hatred.
But then all movement stopped.
But it was so clear in the room.
The aura of fear began growing rapidly.
Jamie strode forward as the woman obviously read his name and instead of speaking it aloud, she had simply indicated to the seat as she paled. "Oh... oh this is... Oh, how everything has come full circle! This is obvious. SLYTHERIN!" the hat shouted out into silence.
"What's his name!" piped up one kid.
"Yeah, who is he?" more began shouting the question until Russell looked up and his eyes widened. No Jamie. Don't. Just sit down! Their eyes locked for a few seconds before Jamie shook his head and stepped forward.
"My name."
Everyone edged forward slightly, those at the slytherin table looked ready to burst with glee.
"Is Jamie Riddle."
There was a dark pause.
Then everyone rose as screams and an uncontrolled uproar smashed across the hall.
Henry: Poor Jamie.
Jamie: shut up... you wrote this!
Russell: Come here. *Russell pulls Jamie into a hug as he kisses his forehead.* Maybe you can make Jamie feel better by giving him a review?
Henry: Again thank to all my current reviewers, I will try and update soon.
Jamie: Join us in the next chapter to find out what happens after the uproar... as if it could be anything good.
Russell: hey you may be surprised, you may even find a bit out about your dad... maybe, no way to be sure unless you come back for the next chapter, See you all soon!
