Bonus Chapter: Paradise

For SexySade who correctly guessed that Jimmy and Cindy's kids share the same name as Marc Antony and Cleopatra's twins!

"And make sure that he doesn't have too many sweets before he goes to bed!" Cindy told her,

Judy Neutron merely smiled at her daughter-in-law's instructions. "I did raise a child myself dear. And I think he turned out rather well." She gently reminded the blonde he blushed.

"I know, I just-"

"Its hard to leave them for a long period of time." Judy said knowingly. "But he'll be fine."

"Don't worry about a thing!" Hugh Neutron said as he came around the corner with his son and grandson. "Sugar Booger and I will keep the little guy out of trouble for the next week and half so you two can spend some quality time together! Plus, I just found a new duck book that we can read together! Plus there's a new duck-related video that I'm sure-"

"We'll do some nonduck related things as well," Judy cut in to assure Cindy, seeing the look on her face, "Don't worry."

"We won't." Jimmy cut in as he kissed the top of his mother's head. "We know that Alex will be in good hands."

"Right." Cindy said as she looked at her father-in-law uneasily.

"He'll be fine Cindy." Jimmy assured his wife as he took his place next to her in the hovercar. "Mom and dad know what they're doing."

"I know." His wife responded. "Its just hard leaving him for so long."

"They'll be able to contact us on the island with any problems."

It had been Jimmy's idea to take time off and head to their little island in the ocean. As much as it pained both of them to leave Alex behind, at age two, he was more then ready to spend quality time alone with his grandparents. And Cindy was willing to agree with Jimmy's statement that they needed some time with just the two of them. She must have dozed off the minute that they were airborne, because the next thing that she knew, Jimmy was nudging her awake.

"What did you do to the island?" Cindy asked in disbelief.

"Do you not like it?"

"I never said-" She stared at the inside of the treehouse in disbelief. Jimmy had told her that he had rebuilt the treehouses (which was understandable seeing as how they left them in crumbles on their last visit) but while they looked the same from the outside, she was not expecting the full modernization of the inside.

"It has a full kitchen and bathroom." Jimmy told her as he set the suitcases down by the front door, took her hand, and lead her around. "A King sized bed, more closet space. Full running water, heat, air conditioning, electricity. And I made sure the kitchen was fully stocked last week." He stopped listing long enough to look at Cindy and when she didn't respond he sighed. "You don't like it."

"What? No I do." She assured him. "I just can't believe you went through all this trouble."

"Oh." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Yes, well, I thought that it might be nice to have some modern convenience." Cindy just looked at him. "And I know its special, so." She raised her eyebrows. "And perhaps I wanted to impress you a little." She smirked. "So you caught me. But impressing you-" He paused to pull her into his arms. "Is a rather difficult thing to do."

"Oh, I don't know." She responded as she leaned into his embrace. "You do a pretty good job."

His response was to kiss her deeply, before picking her up bridal style and carrying her to the bed.

He couldn't remember the last time he had woken up so well rested. He had figured (and how correct he was!) that sleep would go out the window when his son arrived. While he wouldn't trade his son for anything in the world, there was something to be said for getting a full night of sleep. Enjoying the sunshine streaming through the windows and the sounds of the ocean, he turned over to look at his sleeping wife. He kissed her forehead and ran his fingers down her naked body. She gave a hum of approval in response and yawned before sleepily opening her eyes. "Good morning."

"Morning." She said as she laid there in bed, but her plan to do so in peace, was quickly ruined by her husband's kisses down her neck, shoulder, and across her chest and his fingers that were wondering even lower. She couldn't help but let out a moan and he smirked before leaning down to capture her lips. They didn't leave the bed all day.

She rested in the chair on the beach, reading. Or, more accurately, attempting to read as Jimmy was trying desperately to get her to come in the ocean with him and again and again she refused. She had never really been much of a swimmer and always preferred the sun then the water anyway. Not like that stopped her husband from trying.

"Cindy! Cindy!" He shouted at her. "Come look at this! The water is so clear you can see down to the bottom!"

"That's nice." His wife responded, not even looking up from her book.

He sighed and rubbed his chin in contemplation before an idea occurred to him.

Droplets of water in her hair pulled her attention from her book. Looking up, she was greeted with the sight of her sopping wet husband. "Done for the day?" She inquired before turning back to her book, a bad idea in retrospect. She had barely gotten into the first sentence before she found herself being picked up and thrown over her husband's shoulder. "Jimmy!" She squealed, realizing his intentions. "Put me down!"

"I will." He said with a smirk as she reached back to pull her book from her hand and toss it back onto her chair. Reaching deep enough water, he promptly plopped her in.

She quickly surfaced and looked at her husband expressionless. His own face alternated between nervousness and amusement, but it turned to full amusement when she admitted, "Well, it does feel good." He grinned.

"There's Orions Belt!"

"And Aries!"

"The Big Dipper!" Sensing his wife looking at him, Jimmy looked over at his wife. "It's an important contensatlation!" He argued as she giggled. "Fine." he pointed again. "Cassiopeia." Cindy simply smiled and curled up to her husband, who slipped his arm around her and continued to point out constellations.

It had been over a month since they had gotten back from their island and Jimmy was missing it already. Whenever he found himself stressed or overwhelmed, he found his mind drifting back there. The sun rays, the warm sand between his toes, his wife all to himself… Paradise. A knock on his office door startled him out of his thoughts. "Come in."

He was shocked to see his wife on the other side of the frame, a undecodable look on her face as she closed the door behind her. "Do you have a moment?"

"Absolutely." Seeing she was alone he asked, "Where's Alex?"

"Still at the daycare. I thought I should come over here alone."

Confusion clouded his thoughts as he looked at Cindy. "Erm, alright. What's up dear?"

She tapped her fingers against the edge of his desk. "I went to the doctor today."
More confusion. "Okay…?"

She looked him straight in the eyes, "I'm pregnant."

"You're-?"

"About a month along." His mind whirled back to a month ago. A month ago they were on the island and he refused to let her leave the bed. He immediately grinned and his wife just laughed and shook her head. "That's right. This is all you." She said as he didn't look even close to remorseful. He merely grinned and swooped her up into his arms in celebration.

Paradise indeed.
