I didn't have as much press today, but Ed did. The tables were turned and it would be me missing him. Everyone knew Ed wasn't a morning person, so they made sure he didn't have any press until at least 9 A.M. My day of work didn't start until about noon, so I didn't wake up until my body woke me up at 8:30. I rolled over, to where Ed would be laying because I still felt a presence in the bed. I rolled over to Teddy wrapped like a monk in towels. I probably gave him the weirdest look he'd ever recieved. "What are you doing?" I asked. He gave me a large cheeky grin, "I'm marinating." "Um, you're what?" He laughed, "Marinating." I have never heard of anything marinating that wasn't edible. "Um...okay." "Gimme kisses," he said, puckering his lips. "I'm sorry, I don't kiss monks," I replied. "Wow, that really hurt," he said back, sarcastically. I leaned in and kissed him, then got out of bed.
"Shouldn't you be getting ready for radio?" I asked him. "I am, I'll have you know, this is a very important part of getting ready," he replied, matter-of-factly. "Whatever you say, love," I replied. I went into the kitchen and make us some tea, then brought it back to our bedroom. Ed was up and dressed now. I swear, he takes longer than me to pick out an outfit, even though he wears the basically the same thing everyday. A button down/flannel, a t-shirt either given to him by a fan or bought at target, and loose jeans. His shoes were the only thing he ever really spiced up. He spritzed himself with cologne, then joined me back in bed to drink our tea.
"What time do you work until?" He asked. "Um, I think about 3:30. I only have a radio interview, performance and meet and greet," I said back, sipping my tea. "You make the best tea, much better than any other American," he said, with a chuckle. "I learned from the best," I replied, nudging him. Then I asked, "what time do you get home tonight?" He frowned, "I'm not quite sure, I don't think I'll be home until about 7:30." I was not looking forward to coming home to an empty house, but I guess it's something I'd have to get used to.
We finished our tea, then it was time for Ed to leave. I walked him to the door, where we said our goodbyes. We hugged for probably 5 minutes. "Have a good day, darling. I love you," he said, kissing my forehead. I smiled and buried my head into his chest one last time, "I love you too."
After he was out the door, I turned on Pandora and got into the shower. I stayed in the shower just letting the hot water run over me for a half hour. It's been a while since I've been able to do that. I took my time getting ready. I curled my hair and did my make up nicely. It was warm out so I decided to wear a sun dress, a long necklace, and some sandals. I made sure I had everything in my purse then I was out the door.
-Radio interview-
I: We're here with Kelsey today. Congratulations on winning the voice!
K: thank you!
I: How would you describe working with Pharell?
K: You know, it was amazing. He is such a nice and talented guy. I feel like I really learned a lot from the experience.
I: What are the plans now?
K: Well, currently, I'm doing a bunch of things like this. Radio, acoustic performances and meet and greets. Talk shows, that kind of stuff.
I: So a bunch of promo really?
K: Yep! I've been writing a bit too. I haven't had time to record anything, but I spend my down time writing.
I: Anything with Ed Sheeran, yet?
K: Yes, we've written together. However, nothing for my album. I'm not even sure if it will be released.
I: You guys are dating, correct?
K: Yes, we are.
I: How did that come to be?
K: Um, I'm really not sure. He's just a really great guy and we've spent a lot of time together, so yeah. It just kind of happened naturally.
I: What is it like being with someone equally as talented as yourself?
K: Well, he's much more talented than I am, in my opinion. But it's cool, actually. It's nice to have someone who you can run your ideas by and be able to trust their opinion from a professional stand point. He's very supportive, but also very honest. If I'm working on something that isn't great, he gives me the critisim I need to improve.
I: Do you guys balance each other out well?
K: I'd say so. We make a good team.
I: So, you've been doing shows for several years now, do you feel like you're really making it yet?
K: Ya know, I kind of do. I went on Ellen yesterday, and that was very surreal. It's something I've always dreamed of and now it happened. I could die happy now.
I: What are your goals now?
K: I want to release an album and then we will see how things go from there.
I: Who is your dream collab?
K: Dream collab? I'd say probably a rapper. Like Nicki Minaj or Eminem or something. Even if I just sang the hook, I think that would be so sick.
I: Well, we are out of time, so that's going to be the end of this. You're going to go downstairs and perform a short set then have a little meet and greet. Thanks for coming, we hope to have you again
K: I hope to come again, it's been fun
I had about an hour break before my perfomance, so I was walking the halls. I went to go find a bathroom, but instead I found something better. I found Ed. I walked up behind him, and grabbed him by the hips. He jumped, then turned around. "Jesus, you scared me," he said, laughing. I shoved him against the wall and kissed. He looked around, and saw the bathroom door. He pushed it open and I followed him in. We were pushed up against the wall, kissing each other hard. "I've missed you," I whispered. He smiled, "i've missed you too." Our bodies were grinding up against each other. His phone went off. "It's probably Stu, I have to check." Sure enough it was, "We only have about 15 minutes." I looked at him, "that's enough." I went back to kissing him hard, then slid up my dress and down my underwear. He looked down, and his eyes widened. He un-did his belt and slid his pants around his ankles. He put himself inside me and started pounding me against the wall. He slid his hand over my mouth to quiet the moans. I'm sure this wasn't a very professional thing to be happening. We made love quickly this time, like it was tension built up for days, which is wasn't really. It only took us about five minutes. Then he kissed me slowly, riding out our climaxes. Then we re-adjusted ourselves. It was just in time for him to get back to work. He kissed me, then fixed his hair. "I love you, baby. I'll see you in a few hours. Nice talk," he said, before exiting the bathroom. "I love you too." I waited a few moments and touched up my make up, then exited the bathroom. As I was walking out my phone started to buzz.
Ed: Stu's on to us. hahahaha
Me: Oops ;) didn't mean to get you in trouble
Ed: Being bad has never felt so good. ;)
Me: Get back to work young man ;)
Ed: I'm trying, it's hard to focus now.
Me: I have to get back to work now too. Don't distract me:p Love you babe.
Ed: I love you too, princess :)
I did my short performance then met with some fans. Meeting my fans was always my favorite part. Some of the people who came to meet me have been fans since day one, which is amazing. It's like they're my distant best friends and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I was pretty good with interacting with them and that's something I hope will never change. I met one girl today who has been listening to me for 6 years, that's longer than I've even been touring. This was her first time meeting me and she literally cried. It was one of the most amazing feelings knowing that I made that much of an impact on her life.
My day seemed to go by much faster today. When I got home, Teddy was still working. He had three acoustic perfomances today along with an interview. When I got home his interview was just about to play, so I tuned in.
-Radio Interview-
I: So, this afternoon we have a very special guest. Ed Sheeran everybody.
E: Hi guys, thanks for having me
I: Thanks for being here. What's been up man? It's been a while.
E: A lot actually. I'm finishing up my new album, we're starting to plan a tour soon, I think, I've been doing odds and ends gigs, I guest stared on the voice which was wicked, just hanging out. I'm staying in LA right now, until I finish the record. So it's been cool
I: Awesome man. So we heard there's some news on the women front. We've had some pretty sad teenage girls tweeting us lately.
E: I'm sorry ladies! I'm now an involved man. I still love you all though!
I: So, Kelsey, huh?
E: Yes, she's great. She's really cool and talented.
I: So blondes are your cup of tea?
E: I'd say so. She's pretty good looking.
I: We can all agree with that. Was it an instant connection or an acquired taste? All the girls before haven't been American.
E: There's really only been three girls before her, I'm not much of a date-around type of guy. But yeah, it was an instant connection. Things kind of went a bit fast, but it was our choice.
I: I'm happy for ya, bro. Let's get back to music. How much do you have done on the album?
E: A lot, actually. I only need about 3 more tracks. Kelsey and I just recorded a duet which will be on there, so now I need three more songs. I have some in the works. We'll see.
I: When will it be coming out?
E: I'm thinking November.
I: Nice. We're excited to hear it. Are you touring before or after the release?
E: After! Going to tour to promote it. I'm focused on just recording until then.
I: Great man. Well, it's been nice having you back. I'm sure we'll see you soon.
E: Yeah, for sure.
Since the interview was over, this means Ed would be home soon. However, I was a bit sleepy. I know he had one more performance to do, then he would be on his way. I decided to take a nap. I'll nap for about a half hour then I'll get up and make dinner.
Well, that plan was a bust. I awoke to a kiss on my forehead. "Oh, shit. I was going to make dinner," I said, disappointed. "Don't worry, love. I brought home in n out," Ed replied kissing me. He was seriously a dream come true. Nothing better than a man who caters to you. "Thank you, love," I said and kissed him. We ate our burgers in bed, then turned in early. We both had early days tomorrow.
