Well first, thank you for all the feedback on sequel or not. I'm still deciding but I am leaning towards a sequel. Second, reviews... I can't even right now! Thank you so much! Thank you to the guest who yelled at me for not updating. On that note, I actually have a very good reason.

I doubt any of you live in Pennsylvania, but if you do you may have heard about this. One of the seniors at my high school was killed in a car crash about a week ago. I didn't know him that well, but my good friend was his girlfriend. It's been pretty tough on everyone, especially the football team. He was first string so... yeah. That's why this is so late.

Sorry!

I woke up to the scent of spring and rain. My head was nestled into Draco's shoulder, with my arm draped across his chest. I felt him breathing softly underneath me and I smiled into his strong shoulder. When I had woken up earlier, much earlier, he had been holding me against him smiling slightly in his sleep.

"You're beautiful when you sleep."

I turned my head to look at the boy I was curled up against and grinned. He returned it and then pulled me closer.

"You sleep okay?" I asked.

"Wonderfully after you got here," he replied. "You?"

"Great... once I got here."

He laughed softly.

"Are you going to freak out and fall off the bed again? Then I can throw another pillow at you," Draco said, smirking.

I rolled my eyes, but felt a smile tugging at my lips.

"I'll tickle you if you don't laugh. That was actually pretty funny," he muttered and poked my ribs.

I inhaled sharply when his fingers stabbed a bruise.

"Sorry! Sorry! I forgot!" He gasped.

"It's okay," I assured him, noticing the panic in his eyes.

Gently, nervously I snuggled closer to him and in return he pulled me tighter against him.

"Ferret-boy and Hermione laying in the bed!" One of the twins sang, storming through the door.

"F-U-C-"

Harry's yell drowned them out for a moment.

"First comes fore-"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" I yelled.

Surprisingly they actually stopped their modified song. Draco was shaking with hysterical laughter underneath me.

"You two are disgusting!" I snapped, in a fruitless attempt to hide my own amusement.

The twins puffed out their chests proudly.

"Speaking of disgusting," Ron muttered, giving us a look.

"We should probably get up, Draco," I said. "I want to do some practice with spells today."

He sat up, and leaned over the edge of the bed. When he sat back up he was holding yet another pair of black sweatpants.

"Want them, for later?" He asked.

Ron and Harry laughed. I raised my eyebrows at them before taking the pants from him. 'Slytherin' was vertically imprinted on the fabric down the left leg.

"Snape said we should try to 'accept muggle things' so he ordered us all sweatpants and sweatshirts," Draco explained.

"Oh yeah. There's nothing going on between them," Harry muttered sarcastically from the doorway.

"Stupify!" I screamed, then nonverbally cast a disarming spell.

Harry dropped to the grass, out cold, while Ron's wand flew from his hand into mine.

"Ennervate," I said, pointing my wand at Harry.

He blinked in confusion, then seemed to come to his senses.

"Well you haven't lost your touch just yet," He sighed in defeat.

Ron snatched his wand from me in mock anger.

"I think we're ready," He whispered to us. "Tonight?"

"Tonight," Harry and I agreed.

"Dinner!" Mrs. Weasley yelled from the doorway.

"Dinner!" Ron yelled back happily.

We had skipped lunch, despite Ron's protests.

"Wait!" Harry called after Ron, who was sprinting towards his house.

His shoulders slumped and he made his way back to us.

"Hermione, you've avoided this at least four times. We need to know. Is there something going on between you and Malfoy?" Harry asked seriously.

"No-," I started.

"Please," Ron scoffed. "We just don't want you to get hurt Hermione. And we know enough to trust your judgement, but please be careful. I don't trust him."

"Thank you, for... accepting it. Kind of, I guess. We aren't anything really," I smiled at my two friends.

"Well Fred and George seem to approve. They're trying to come up with some name for you two," Harry chuckled and I wasn't sure whether he was amused or upset.

Dinner went much the same as the previous night. Draco had helped the twins in trying to replicate what Harry did to his Aunt the summer before third year. George's left hand was still slightly swollen. Afterwards everyone, at my insistence, turned in early. There was a fight, similar to the one last night, about where I was sleeping. Mrs. Weasley was strongly opposed to me staying with Draco, but eventually she caved.

So now here I was, waiting for the boys to come for me. Draco was subconsciously running his fingers through my hair while he slept and I felt a pang of guilt. Harry, Ron, and I knew full well that the final battle could be tonight, and it could go either way.

My door creaked open and I saw Ron's vivid hair peak through. Cautiously I climbed out of bed, doing my best not to wake Draco. This could be the last time I ever see him. I pressed my lips gently against his forehead.

"I love you too," I whispered.

I had to say it sometime, and this could be my last chance.

It took less than a minute to change from his sweatpants and Ginny's shirt to jeans, sneakers, and a duller shirt. Bright blue would probably stand out more than a little.

"Once we're out of the wards we can apparate to Hogsmeade," Harry murmured to me as I left the room.

One fleeting glance at Draco showed a pale boy sleeping soundly, hair shining in the moonlight.

Everything was going as planned for the first forty-five seconds. It was a new record, I think. The moment we hit Hogsmeade sirens went off and dementors crowded the streets. Harry was forced to cast a patronus, giving us away to the swarming death eaters. It was a close call, but a man pulled us into his shop, argued for a moment about goat versus stag patronuses with some death eaters, then came to the back room. Aberforth, Dumbledore's brother.

He insisted that we leave, but obviously we refused, so he sent a painting of his sister to fetch someone.

"Harry!" Neville exclaimed. "Ron! Hermione? Last we heard you had gotten trapped at Malfoy Manor when those two escaped."

I took in his rugged appearance, trying to hide the shock on my face. His face was littered with cuts and bruises, much like the rest of his visible skin.

"Seamus is worse," he said as way of explanation. "Come on! Oh, and Aberforth you might want to expect a few more visitors."

Our trio followed Neville through a dimly lit stone hallway. He was explaining to Ron about the Carrows. After a few minutes of walking he pushed open a door.

Fifty, if not more, students sat huddled in what appeared to be the room of requirement turned tri-house common room. There were no Slytherins, but that wasn't much of a surprise.

"Hey! You lot! I brought some visitors!" Neville called to the assembled students before stepping aside, revealing us to the children.

"Is that?"

"Harry Potter?"

"No!?"

"Wasn't she captured?"

"They're actually here!"

Whispers filled the room.

Seamus's eyes widened and he grabbed a radio.

"Attention everyone! Lightning has struck! I repeat, lightning has struck!"

I had a huge internal debate about whether to make this book or movie compliant. I decided on a little of both. I promise I read the books! (Six times each in fact)

Also, sorry if that seemed kinda rushed. Some of that is in the book/movie so I figured it would be okay to rush it. I'm assuming if you're reading Harry Potter fanfiction you've read the books, or at least seen the movies.

Kiss, next chapter... promise! That'll hopefully be soon. Have a goodnight everyone!

Please review because this has almost 200 reviews!
