Patricia's POV
"Mom, mom are you there?" It was now a new year of college and I was calling my mom to check in before getting my dorm room.
"Yes honey I am." My mom assured.
"Ok good well I'm outside the school and about to check in."
"Awe baby it feels like just yesterday you went to your second year of college and now you're at your third."
"Mom, please."
"Oh ok I just-wait you never told me who your roommate was last year."
"Oh. That. Well you know my boyfriend Eddie?"
"Yes the one who came with you during the summer to see us."
"Right, well. He was my roommate and hopefully he will be it again."
No answer.
"Mom?"
"AHHH!" She screamed.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"Yes, yes I'm just so happy for you. Go have fun and call me once you get settled. bye."
She hung up on me! Ugh mothers.
I walked into the office to get my room key but the lady said someone had already picked it up for me.
What? But who?
I turned around and there Eddie was with two room keys.
"Eddie!" I shouted and ran to him and gave him a hug.
"Hey, guess what?" Eddie said.
"What?" I said hopefully.
"We're sharing a room!" He shouted and we laughed and shouted for joy.
Then we raced to our room. Dorm room 101. We had hates each other's guts, but he was still and boy and I was still a girl. So naturally, we fell in love.
