Disclaimer: Upsettingly, I do not own The Outsiders nor do I make a profit from S.E. Hinton's work fabulous work. Sadly, S.E. Hinton is the only true owner and writer of The Outsiders.

A/N: Okay, I'll admit I lied. I write this and I'm too impatient to wait to post. It's the epilogue! Yes, it is short like all my epilogues are, but I'm getting better which is what this is all about.

Ponyboy's POV

I listened to my history lesson without zoning out. When we got a break I started to pick up my book more.

After I realized that passing summer school was important, I started to allow myself to pay attention. I was realizing that I couldn't live in constant worry or fear about the unknown. If something happened to y brothers or me, we would stick through it like we always did.

They would stick by my side.

Sodapop's POV

Ponyboy was slowing going back to normal. He laughed without force and read more. He could sit still and be lost in thought without them being depressing thoughts.

He stopped having nightmares too. I was glad that he was getting back to normal and could stop worrying.

I knew Darry noticed too. At first, he was walking on eggshells but now, there relationship was like it was before mom and dad died, just s bit stricter. I was glad they didn't argue as much, because we were all we had left and if we don't have each other, we don't have anything.
