Author's Note: Hello all you people and welcome back to A Cat and Fox's Tale, courtesy of yours truly, the one and only PenGator3; but before we begin first of all, I want to apologize for the delay once again: it took me as much as a few weeks to make this chapter because I got distracted and I was rushing to have it published earlier ago but this was not the case. Anyways, now that I'm back, this chapter will now focus back onto Ella for the time being; in addition,Yasmine will also be joining in as well.
Disclaimer: Yin Yang Yo belongs to Bob Boyle but not Disney; then again, neither does Yasmine. Thank you.
It had seemed apparent for anyone that the night was just about to get started in the town right now: as such, even though that it was a time for many establishments to call it a day, it was also a time for others to show their true colors after hours. The nocturnal emissions of these transitions were setting themselves up to be the main attraction for the sake of trawling more consumers into their environs and spend all of their wares in the fields of recreation just to survive a cannibal holocaust. Of course, this was only true for even the most malignant of commercial areas with such expertise; for the Sugar Bowl Alley, any of the fitting criteria for such were rather considered to be the polar opposite: in short, benign suffice to say the least.
As with many establishments such as this in particular no less, they weren't without a single place to relieve patrons of there burden for a nominal moment of their own time to even do so. The flooring was merely made up of plain white tiles on the ground instead of the richness that all sat in the very room outside. The walls were painted in a vaguely obscure deep blue, an arguably colorfully shade that represented one of the seven seas outside in the natural world. There was not even a single window inside where people can see what was going on outside the techn(olog)ical station, the hustle and flow of life going on as scheduled irregardless. The bathroom was accommodated with typical things including a long line of bathroom stalls, each with a toilet inside of them and their respective sinks in front of them all that waited for the people who would get out to go wash their very upper appendages after usage.
Among one of the many people that were found inside of here was none other than Ella herself. The tangerine feline was found to be dampening her paws underneath a concentrated stream of water, steam radiating from the porcelain and steel. The bubbling froth slid off into the drain as they shrunk down within seconds, carried off by the achromatic liquid. She soon pulled them out of there and shut off the valve instantaneously. As the remaining water scurried off with but a sound, Ella turned away to find a paper towel within in the distance all for the taking. Snatching it away from its point of origin, the tangerine feline now began to dry her sodden paws off of the liquid soon enough. With the moisture now absorbed by paper, the used item now found its way into the wastebasket.
"Ella, is that you already...?" a voice nearby was heard by the eponymous listener instantly: it was none other than Yasmine herself standing on the side of the open entrance altogether.
With eyes widen about, the tangerine feline approached the red fox and had begun to respond, "Yasmine, you're here; what took you so long...?"
"Just needed to freshen up a bit for the outing; I almost missed the bus on the way here..." Yasmine answered calmly to Ella within moments, "say, what lane are your friends in?"
"Fifty-four and fifty-five..." the tangerine feline said before heading out of the bathroom at once.
Soon, the red fox follow after and asked only quickly, "got any room for one more player...?"
"Why not; I think it would be nice to even up the odds, wouldn't you agree...?" Ella said as Yasmine raised an eyebrow in a moment, "after all, the night is indeed young..."
"Aren't we all..." the red fox chuckled a bit before joining the tangerine feline in a walk.
With all of this and that, it would seem like that the rest was basically history, let alone a minute footnote nonetheless; however, it was still in the making even as of this very moment already.
