Chapter 6
The tall well-built man casually laid down next to the long black-haired ninja who was kneeling elegantly and preparing some food. The two companions silently gazed at the flawless nature surrounding them.
The green trees were full all year and flowers bloomed every season. The gruff ninja turned and watched as his young disciple carefully pour some tea.
"What're you looking at Zabuza?" the boy blushed slightly. "You're making me nervous that I can't do this properly." The gentle boy began stirring the tea.
The white masked ninja extended his hand and grabbed the delicate ones of Haku.
"You would've probably been the Mizukage before any of those punks became kages."
Letting his gentle eyes meet with his master's serious ones, Haku couldn't withhold a giggle.
"Zabuza. You give me too much praise."
The humble boy wriggled his small hand out of Zabuza's tight grasp and sheepishly ducked. Satisfied with the slight tint of red on Haku's usually pale complexion, the ex-demon turned his attention back to the white clouds and silently thanked Kakashi Hatake yet again.
Zabuza and Haku compose one of the base Naruto memories for me. I think without them, Naruto wouldn't be Naruto. So to our awesome duo~
