Chapter 7: School and Resumes

It was Tuesday April 22nd and morning had arrived. As always Tomoya was running late once again. He climbed his way through an empty slope and sighed. Once he made it to school he made his way to his class and made his way through the students standing and talking around, and headed towards his seat. He set his bag down on his desk and sat in his chair, and as usual, the seat beside him was empty. He spent his time looking outside the window.

"What's wrong with you?"

Tomoya looked up to see Ryouta standing behind. "Are you in a bad mood or something?" He asked. Tomoya shook his head "No, just a little tired." He responded. Ryouta was going to pry but knew that it was best to just let him be. He sat in his chair and waited for the teacher to start class.

After class was over, Youhei appeared through the doors. "Are we going to eat at the cafeteria today as well?" He asked. Ryouta shook his head "We've said it before, don't say it like you've always been here. " He replied. "Didn't you just get here?" Tomoya asked.

Youhei smiled at them. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Youhei said. Tomoya sighed. "At least wave and greet us properly before you invite us to lunch. It's messed up if you don't." Tomoya stated. Youhei gave them an annoyed look. "But saying good morning around this time isn't right." Youhei replied.

"I guess he's right." Ryouta agreed. "Well, what should I do then?" Youhei asked. "Well first, you have to give a reaction as if you just found me. That's what you're missing." Tomoya stated. Youhei looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "So what kind of reaction should I give?" He asked.

"There are plenty of ways. For example… Something like 'Hey. Isn't that Okazaki? It's been a while. How have you been? I also feel great'." Tomoya explained. "Well, that does seem like a good reaction after finding you. So I'll do that from now on. So now that we've settled that, are we going to the cafeteria today as well?" He asked.

"If you treat me, then I don't mind going outside." Tomoya responded. Youhei smiled. "That line is what I was thinking of saying though. We're all poor." Youhei laughed. Tomoya narrowed his eyes at Youhei. "Don't say that as though we're the same." Tomoya and Ryouta said in unison.

Once they arrived in the cafeteria they noticed that a lot of people were crowding the area. "It's so crowded… let's buy bread and head back to the classroom." Youhei suggested. Tomoya and Ryouta nodded in agreement knowing it would be best to go back.

As they grabbed their bread they walked through the halls and headed for their classroom. "I wonder if I should find a part time job." Youhei said. "Evening job?" Ryouta asked. Youhei nodded, "Yeah." he responded. Tomoya sighed and looked at him. "You wouldn't have any strength during daytime in school if you work at night." He stated.

"It'll be all right if it's not a physical labor; for example, a job that uses my brain. That's right, how about being a tutor?" He asked with a smile. Ryouta gave him a confused look. "What in the world are you going to teach?" He asked.

Youhei kept his smile on despite Ryouta having no faith in him "Aren't I good at English?" He asked. Youhei decided to give the boys an example. "I am pretty dog. Oh! Are you pretty dog too? It's miracle." He announced with confidence.

Tomoya sighed at his failure. "Well… a talking dog would be a miracle." He said. Youhei smirked feeling like he achieved his goal. "How about that? My pronunciation is perfect, right?" He asked. "There are a lot of tsukkomi holes already that I can't say anything." Tomoya replied.

"It's prefect. I tell you… Mou Man Tai, right?!" He asked in excitement. "That thing you said just now is not English, you know." Ryouta informed as the three walked back into the classroom and took their seats.

"Well, the point is, students are poor." Youhei said. Ryouta looked at him "Stop stating the obvious." He replied. Ryouta and Tomoya let Youhei continue to talk until lunch was over trying their hardest to ignore him.

Lunch had ended and Ryouta was completely blown by drowsiness. He staring into space, listening to the teacher's voice as half of it turned into a lullaby. It felt like the top and bottom of his eyelids were closing in on each other.

"Kazuki, Kazuki!"

Ryouta heard Youhei's whisper voice and looked at him "What? I was about to fall asleep!" Ryouta said. Youhei pointed towards the window. "Look outside before you do that." He stated. Tomoya looked at him "Outside?" He asked. Youhei nodded "At the gate. It came again." he said.

Ryouta raised an eyebrow "It?" He asked. Youhei sighed and nodded again. "That cute thing from before." He explained. Ryouta and Tomoya gave each other a confused look. What did he mean by that? The two slowly turned their head to look outside the window and at the gate.

Of course, there shouldn't be anyone out there right now. "Hmm." Ryouta said as he saw something. It looked like a small animal puttering around. It was snuggling its body at the wall of the gate and happily wagging its small tail back and forth.

Ryouta's eyes went wide "Botan?" Ryouta asked himself. He was sure it was a wild boar piglet which was also Kyou's pet. "Did it come to see Kyou again?" Tomoya asked. Ryouta sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "I have no clue." Ryouta replied.

"Okazaki, Kazuki! Why are you looking outside in the middle of class? There is no blackboard outside the window."

Ryouta and Tomoya heard the teacher's voice and turned around. Ryouta and Tomoya narrowed their eyes because of the sleepiness. "What's with those eyes? If you're not going to listen to my lesson then you're a bother. Just get out!" He stated.

Ryouta and Tomoya looked at each other before sliding their chairs back and standing up. "Hey you two, calm down." Youhei said. The teacher looked a little intimidated. "W… what's this? You trying to start a riot in my classroom? You both know you'll drop out if you do that, right?!" He asked.

Ryouta and Tomoya didn't say a word. Instead they just walked out of the classroom and walked down the narrow hallway. Shortly after they could hear the teacher attempting to gloss over what had just happened.

No one was at the garden by the side of the school gate. You could hear the faint voices of the P.E. class coming from between the courtyard and the school building. Besides that, Tomoya and Ryouta thought it was peaceful there. Ryouta noticed the boar rubbing its body and nose against the gate wall.

"Botan!" Ryouta called out in a fatherly scolding voice. "Puhi-" Botan squealed. His tail stood up at the sound of Ryouta's voice. He ran over towards Ryouta with is short legs like a fast-forwarding video. Botan dashed and plunged itself onto Ryouta.

Ryouta managed to stop him since Botans body is small and he's not especially powerful. "Puhi-" it groaned. Ryouta bent down and picked him up. "Hey, are you alright Botan?" Ryouta asked. Botan just continued to groan "I say he really is reckless…and that's true." Tomoya added. Botan squealed in joy "Well, he's not praising you or anything" Ryouta informed.

Tomoya sat down and crossed his legs. Botan looked at him with a greedy look on his face. It was hovering its nose in front of Tomaya snorting and wagging its tail. Ryouta noticed this and started to smirk as Botan glanced at Tomoya. Botan then hovered its nose in front of Tomoya again. He repeated that several times, then, as if making up his mind, came closer. "Huh?" Tomoya said. Ryouta started to chuckle silently so Tomoya wouldn't hear, he knew what was coming. Botan stuck his nose between Tomoya's legs and snorted approvingly.

Tomoya grabbed Botan by its back and lifted him up to eye level. Botan frantically wiggled its short legs. "What the hell do you think you are doing, damn it?!" He exclaimed. Botan whined as Tomoya held him "You want to pair up with a human of the opposite sex when you're just an animal? Haah? Anyway… are you a male, or a female? If you're a male, I'll stick you in a freaking pot and fire it up." He said.

It was at this moment that Ryouta knew…Tomoya messed up. He suddenly felt something coming. "Tomoya!" Ryouta called out. Almost instinctively, the upper half of Tomoya's body leaned to the right. At that moment, a fierce sound, as if something was cutting the wind, passed through Tomoya's left ear barely missing him.

It continued into the ground and then made a loud 'Thud.' It made a sound as it sank into the ground. Ryouta observed the object "Let's see… a Chinese-Japanese character dictionary." Ryouta sighed and turned around. "It couldn't be… from that far away, that's insane." He said to himself. He turned around as he had a feeling that it came directly from the third floor, from the class beside Ryouta and Tomoya's, class 3-E.

Although it was far away, Ryouta could see Kyou's bloodthirsty figure. "Whoa, was she serious?" Tomoya asked. Ryouta looked at him. "You're damn right she was serious. That was meant to connect with your face." He replied. Tomoya let go of Botan as Ryouta watched the Chinese-Japanese character dictionary stick into the ground.

"Did she throw that from way over there?" Tomoya asked. Ryouta nodded. "Yes, and you better thank the stars that it missed." He replied. Tomoya then started thinking. "Would I have died if I was hit by that thing?" He asked. Ryouta smiled. "Mostly likely, if not that then seriously injured." He responded. While they're minds were elsewhere. Botan who Tomoya had just released, had gone back to snorting approvingly at him.

When Ryouta finally sat down Boton jumped into his lap and snuggled him. He searched around for a comfortable spot in Ryouta's lap and then squealed in excitement. Tomoya turned to see Kyou smiling in approval to Ryouta whose attention was on Botan. It was obvious that Botan and Ryouta had shared a small bond as the two played with one another.

The bell rung meaning fifth period was over. Botan squealed in fear as he heard footsteps coming from behind Ryouta. He started shaking and started hiding his face in Ryouta's lap.

"Umm!"

Ryouta turned around to see Ryou standing behind him with a shy expression. "Hey little sis." Ryouta greeted. Ryou looked at him "Uh… just a while ago… you suddenly left the classroom, so…" She started. "Ah…about that. Even if I'm there, it doesn't mean I'm listening to the lesson. It was boring so leaving was better." Ryouta explained. "He's not lying it was a better option at the time." Tomoya added.

"B-but, Kyou's not really happy with what happened… She's talking to the teacher now, asking what happened. She told me to tell you to stay where you are." She stated as she looked which made Ryouta reveal a nervous smile.

Tomoya smiled and then looked at her "By the way… this thing's with you, right?" He asked. Ryou looked at Botan with a shocked expression. "Eh? Ah… Botan…? Why is he here?" She asked. "Well. I think he probably came to see Kyou. He somehow started shaking a little while ago. I wonder why?" Tomoya asked.

Ryou looked at him and gave him a sad expression "Ah… w-well… I'm sure that's because… he saw me coming…" She responded. Tomoya stood silent for a second as he looked at Botan and then Ryou. "Could it be that he hates you?" He asked. Ryou's eyes went wide "Ummm… ah… well… p-perhaps…" She said with a smile. Her voice seemed to vanish as she spoke.

At almost that exact same time. Botan's shaking body suddenly stops. Ryouta looked at Botan. "Hmm? What's wrong?" He asked. Botan's mood changes from being scared by Ryou, to one with a happy voice. He jumped off Ryouta's lap and made a big detour to avoid Ryou as he ran, and just ahead was…

"You came here again, huh?"

Ryou turned and noticed that Kyou was approaching them. "Sister." She said. Botan ran up and Kyou embraced him. Kyou gave Tomoya and Ryou a smile as she came over before glaring at Ryouta. She walked over to him and gave him a stern slap to the back of his head.

"Ouch! What the heck Kyou, what was that for?" He asked. Kyou just stepped closer to him until they were eye to eye. "Don't ask stupid questions, the teacher told me that you were staring out the window instead of paying attention." She stated.

"I only looked out the window because Botan was out here." He explained as he held the back of his head. This calmed her down a little. "He's telling the truth, he did see Botan and that's when the teacher caught him." Tomoya said backing him up

Kyou looked at him and raised her eyebrow "That better be the truth Ryouta." She ordered. Ryouta nodded his head showing her that he was being honest. "Alright then you're off the hook. Huh? Ryou. Why are you here too?" She asked as she turned to look at her sister.

"Ah… I'm… well…" Ryou said as she glanced at Tomoya which made Ryouta smirk a little. "Actually, she came to confess her love for me." Tomoya stated. "Eh…eeehhhh?!" Ryou said in embarrassment. "Since she couldn't wait until after school, she boldly approached me." Tomoya explained.

"Ah… w-w-well… t-that sort of thing is… well…" Ryou's face was turning red as she was getting flustered. "Ryou… you're quite amazing." Kyou praised. "Eh… I-I-It's… It's not like that…" Ryou said as it looked like she was about to cry. "That was a joke, by the way" Ryouta informed. Kyou looked at him. "I know that." She responded. "Ah… uh…" Ryou rambled.

"Perhaps she was worried that you got kicked out in the middle of class so she same here." Kyou said as she let out a sigh, as if she was amazed. Ryou was swinging her head left and right in an exaggerated way, with her face blushing.

"Well, I'll give you both my gratitude for looking after Botan." Kyou said as she looked at Tomoya and Ryouta. "If so, express your gratitude with something tangible." Tomoya said. "If you also look after him during sixth period, I'll buy you some juice." She stated.

Ryouta and Tomoya looked at one another. "Very funny." They said in unison. Kyou looked at them and sighed. "In any case, you both won't listen to the lesson anyway, right?" She asked. "Even if I sleep, I'm still considered to be attending class. Don't make such precious things pointless." He ordered. Knowing that she wasn't going to win with Tomoya she turned to look at her boyfriend. "I'll treat you to lunch tomorrow if you watch him and I'll make your favorite." She stated.

"But what about classes. I'm sure you're not going to let me skip out on them." He stated. Kyou nodded "Of course not!" She replied as she closed her eyes.

The school bell rung and everyone was heading to their next class. "Guess we don't have a choice." Kyou stated. She took a deep breath and stepped forward. "You'll take it with you to class." She informed. "What!" Ryouta explained. Kyou smiled "It'll be okay. Right. Botan? We'll go with the 'Stuffed Toy' trick… Ready Botan… Go!" She said.

In an instant Botan froze not moving a muscle and it stayed like that without a quiver. It's as if he was no longer breathing, not even a wink.

"You don't mean… he's gonna stay frozen like a doll in class…?" Tomoya asked. "Isn't it cool?" Kyou asked. Tomoya raised his eyebrow "Are you a dumbass?" He asked. Kyou eyes started to glow in anger. "What did you say?" She asked in a dark voice which scared even Ryouta. "You can't hope to keep him like that for 50 minutes, can you?" He asked.

"I can. I did forget about him one time when he sank underwater for 10 minutes straight." She explained. 'That's animal cruelty' Tomoya thought to himself making sure Kyou didn't hear him. Kyou then turned around and was about to make a bolt for it until Ryouta stopped her.

"Hey Kyou, heads up" He said as he then tossed Botan her way. She barely caught him and then sent Ryouta a death glare. "Nice catch." Tomoya said as he gave her a thumb up. A dark aura appeared around Kyou as her eyes started to glow "W-why you! You want me to beat you until you start crying?! Want me to kick you until you apologize at least five times before I stop?! Huh?!" She asked in a cold and dark voice.

It was at this moment the Ryouta knew… he needed to step up and be a man. "It's your pet, Kyou. As its mother, you should be the one to take him." He responded. Kyou growled at him. "I told you it's only for 50 minutes! Besides when you became my boyfriend, you became his father in the process." She responded as she walked over to him and handed Botan back to him.

"F-F-F-Father?! When in the hell did I agree to this? If I'm this things father, prove it by showing me some papers. I need proof that I signed something for that position." He replied which made Tomoya laugh as the two argued. Kyou then reached for her bag. "You want to see papers, huh?" She asked in threatening voice. Ryouta knew all too well what she was reaching for and changed his mind. "Okay, Okay I'll watch over Botan." He said in defeat. Kyou smiled and nodded as she walked off along with Ryou. "Sorry about this!" Ryou called out.

As the next class rolled on everyone stared at Ryouta who had Botan in his arms. Youhei and Tomoya looked at each other and then Ryouta and said "Whipped" In unison. Ryouta glared at them. "Shut up!" he responded.

When school finally ended and classes were over Tomoya, Youhei and Ryouta waited for Kyou, who appeared with a smile on her face. Ryouta handed her Botan and sighed. "You owe me big time for this." He grunted which made her laugh. "How about this I come over your house today and cook dinner for you and I'll also make your favorite for lunch tomorrow, deal?" She asked. Ryouta smiled and looked at the two boys, "Well guys, I'll catch up with you two later." He responded. Youhei rolled his eyes and smirked. "Yeah, yeah get your whipped self out of here." He teased but Tomoya knew Ryouta would have a comeback. "Don't be mad at me because you don't have a beautiful girl to cook for you." He responded which made Kyou smile.

"What about Okazaki, he doesn't have-" He started until Ryouta cut him off. "Correction, Tomoya has two pretty girls cooking for him. He has both Ryou and Nagisa two beautiful girls all to himself while you're left with none." Ryouta explained as he and Kyou began to walk away while Tomoya laughed.

Keiji walked out of the school and walked out of the school and down the street. He wanted to head home as quickly as possible because of the homework he had to get done. Five minutes passed on his journey home and he crossed through a shaky part of the town where all they delinquents would hang out.

"You're done for Sakagami!"

As Keiji heard that name and turned his head. "Sakagami?" He quickly dashed over to the voice. Peaking around the corner from a building, he would see the back of three boys who were standing across from Tomoyo. All three of them had bats in their hands. She was good with her feet and could take on more than one person but Keiji wasn't about to stand there and let it go down.

"Time to pay!" The boy exclaimed as he prepared to move.

Before he could take one step a cracking sound could be heard and the boy fell to the ground. Keiji had chopped him in the neck and looked at the other two boys who were pissed off. "Fukohei!" She called out. "You'll leave her alone." He ordered. The two stood on both sides of Keiji and prepared their attack.

Keiji elbowed the guy to his right in the stomach and quickly ducked as the guy on his left swung his metal bat and accidently hit his partner in the face. Keiji would then grab the guy on the left's arm and pinned it behind his back making him drop the bat. He would then kick him into Tomoyo who would send a barrage of kicks to the man before letting him hit the ground.

Tomoyo walked over to Keiji who was checking on the man who was struck by the bat. "He'll be alright. He's unconscious but he'll live." He explained. As she gave off a small smile Keiji stood up and pinched her cheek. She held her cheek and looked at him. "What was that for?" She asked. Keiji looked at her and gave her a stern look. "It's for being reckless. What the heck are you doing here anyway?" He asked. Tomoyo gave him a shocked look, was this, his worried side? "I thought you already left so I was going to try and catch up with you." She explained. Keiji sighed. "You idiot, you left before I did." He responded.

Tomoyo sighed and then smiled as she looked at Keiji. "Hey, how about we take a little walk before heading home?" She said. Keiji sighed knowing it wouldn't be right to refuse her and nodded. "Fine, let's go." He replied.

Five minutes passed since they started walking and they were heading towards her house. "Hey Keiji." She called out which shocked him on how easily she would say his first name. "Huh?" He replied. "Thank you, for looking out for me back there." She said.

Keiji kept his eyes away from her. "Don't worry about it. I hate guys who gang up on a girl, especially if the girls not causing any problems." He explained. Tomoyo knew he was avoiding eye contact and gave him a warm smile. "Well I'm happy that you were worried." She stated.

"Well the look I saw on your face when I arrived wasn't the look of a delinquent destroyer, it was the look of a girl who wanted to put the past behind her and move on with no problems." He said. "Are you saying I looked scared?" She asked. Keiji nodded at her question. "I see… I'll be careful next time." She informed.

"Well, you don't really have to be careful in front of me. You'll just get tired if you don't." He replied quickly. "I'm happy you say so but…" She started to drift off as she looked down and put her hand to her chest. "Hey Keiji. Right now I have friends I can spend my time with and eating lunch… But even still … it's more fun to eat with you there as well. It's more fun to talk to you. There hasn't been anyone who's… pinched my cheek like that" She said.

The two stopped walking as they arrived at her house and looked at one another. "If you'd like me to pinch your cheek… I'll do it no matter how many times you like." He responded. "I don't want you to if there's no reason." She replied with a stern tone as she looked to her side. Keiji sighed. "You really are a complicated person." He informed.

This made Tomoyo smile as she turned her head to look at him. "Yeah, a girl's heart is complicated." She said. "Guess so…" He responded. "I really am grateful that you came and helped me today, it means a lot to me." She said. Keiji looked to the sky as the sun was beginning to set. "Like I said, don't worry about it." he replied in a soft tone.

"Keiji." She called out as her eyes turn serious as she approaches her face towards him. "Will you spend your time together with me?" She asked. Keiji stood silent for a moment before speaking thinking everything through. "… I think its better that you treasure your current friends." He answered. "Of course. I'll treasure them." She said.

Keiji gave her a small smile "I said that because you're my best…" He stated. Tomoyo turned her head and looked into his eyes. "What do you mean?" She asked. Keiji turned around and looked forward "Nothing…" he responded trying to hide the answer.

It was silent again until Keiji spoke again. "Even so… Its better that we shouldn't get too close together. I told you this before, right?" He asked. Tomoyo gave him an innocent look as she raised an eyebrow, "Why's that?" She asked.

Keiji turned his head to look at her as they sun set rays hit him showing all of his features. "Your goal is to be one of the student council members, right?" He asked. Tomoyo nodded her head "Yeah, that's my goal." She responded. "Like I said, you don't want some bad rumors surfacing around now, would you?" He asked.

She took a step forward letting him know she was serious. "You shouldn't worry too much about that, Keiji. I told you it's alright, so it's alright." She stated. Keiji looked at her for a moment before turning his head forward again. "Well, that might be so, but…" He started. "I see… You hate it, right? I remember that you told me that it scares you to be an acquaintance of someone from the student council." She said.

"Yeah, if you got into the student council, and you're together with me. We're both just going to get tired. We have to worry about each other." He explained. Tomoyo looked down at the ground. "Yeah, that might be so… Then, I won't say something unreasonable. I'll be fine until the day I join the student council. Is that not good enough…?" She asked

"Well… I guess so… Do that then… You only have a little time. So until then, try to control Sunohara and the others too." He responded. "Are you sure?" She asked. Keiji nodded which made her smile. "I see. I'm glad." She said. Her smile showed that she was relieved and happy that they could stay friends.

Tomoya was walking home from Nagisa's house as he had just walked her home. He yawned and turned the corner heading up the road.

"Aw man!"

Tomoya turned around to see where the voice came from. "Hmm?" He said to himself. He saw the boy that Kyou had run over the other day. "Where did it fall too…?" The boy asked himself as he was looking around.

"Hey!" Tomoya called out. The boy sighed and closed his eyes. "I said hey!" Tomoya exclaimed. The boy opened his eyes. "Huh?' He said as he looked at Tomoya as if he was a complete stranger. "You don't remember me?" Tomoya asked.

The boy looked at him and thought for a second. "Ah, it's you! The one who helped me in Okinawa!" He said in excitement. Tomoya raised an eyebrow. "Who the hell is that?" He asked. The boy looked at him confused "Eh? Maybe Tochiki?" He asked. "No." Tomoya simply responded.

"… Tottori?" He asked. "Also no." Tomoya responded in an irritated voice. "Uwaah! Someone I don't know is talking to me!" The boy yelled. "Are you some old fart?!" Tomoya asked. "Because, I don't know who you are?!" The boy asked raising an eyebrow. "Ah!" Tomoya responded.

"I'm looking for something right now. If you have business, I'd like for you to bother me after." He stated. "Something you're looking for?" Tomoya asked. The boy nodded. "An important paper…" He said. "Paper… so, you mean this?" Tomoya asked as he pulled the resume that he picked up from before out of his bag. "Ah, Ah! That's it, that's it! But, why do you have it…?" The boy asked.

"You don't remember? You were hit by a bike a while ago." Tomoya explained. "A bike? Hmm… ahh! You're that person!" The boy said. Tomoya looked at him. "You remembered?" He asked. The boy nodded. "Yup, Yup, I remembered!" He said in a cheerful voice. "Weren't you with another boy? Where is he?" He asked.

"He's with his girlfriend right now." Tomoya responded. "So why did you have the resume?" The boy asked. "I picked it up." Tomoya informed.

"Eh? When?" The boy asked. "I said from that time, right?" Tomoya asked. The boy smiled. "Is that so." He responded. "Here take it." Tomoya said as he handed him the resume. "Ah, thank you!" He exclaimed and took the paper. Tomoya's heart skipped from the smile the boy gave. "What is it?" The boy asked. "Uh, nothing… nothing at all." Tomoya responded. "I see. Well… I had that job interviewed shortly after, but since I lost the resume it didn't go well. I guess something like this is important after all." The boy replied. 'It's necessary to have a resume that doesn't have a name written on it…?' Tomoya thought to himself. "Ah, right I should thank you, I should!" He stated.

Tomoya looked at him "Huh? You don't really need to worry about that." Tomoya responded quickly. "Not at all, showing gratitude is the most important! It's not something the eye can reliably see, as it shows good faith. The truth is, giving money or something the person likes to eat could be called quite cool." The boy said.

"Someone like that would be very annoying. You don't have to do something, so don't worry." Tomoya stated. The boy smiled. "Nope, I have to. It goes against my own principles. I'd be the worst as a guy." The boy informed.

Tomoya looked at him up and down observing the boy. 'A guy? So he's really a guy.' Tomoya thought. "Would you like me to at least get you some juice?" The boy asked. Tomoya thought about it and then shrugged his shoulders. "Eh? Ah, yeah, I guess that's enough." The boy smiled at him cheerfully. "Then, please wait a second." The boy said as he ran towards the vending machine.

'I guess I should think of him as a good guy, for being able to thank me… A guy…? With a thin body like that. I couldn't tell if he was a girl…' Tomoya thought to himself. The boy then returned and looked at Tomoya. "Umm, do you like juice or tea?" he asked. "Uh, yeah, juice." Tomoya answered. "Roger!" The boy exclaimed running off to the vending machine again.

'Someone going through the trouble of asking what one likes is really humble. Even though he's the one treating me. He shouldn't really do so much' Tomoya thought to himself. The boy ran back over but this time he was out of breath. "Umm, carbonated or Fruit juice?" he asked. Tomoya thought for a moment before speaking. "Uh, carbonated, I guess." He responded. "Roger." He said while trying to catch his breath.

A moment later he ran back still trying to catch his breath. "Partly carbonated or fully carbonated? Which do you like?" He asked. "Fully carbonated." Tomoya responded.

"Roger." The boy replied, as he ran back to the vending machine. He then ran back once more looking like he was about to pass out. "I've only got bills do you have any change?" The boy asked. Tomoya nodded and handed him a few coins. "Thank you." The boy said as he ran off once again. Tomoya sighed as he saw the boy run back again empty handed. "Umm, Is coke fine?" He asked. Tomoya nodded once more as he watched the boy run back to the machine.

"H-here, Juice." The boy said. Tomoya took the drink and nodded. "Thank you." He replied. "Well, you should gulp down the cold stuff then." He suggested. Tomoya nodded and opened the can. When he opened it, the can would spray out liquid hitting Tomoya in the face. "Damn it you shook it." Tomoya said as he tried to wipe his face. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to shake it like that… I was in a hurry so… Ahh… for this to splash around like this… I'm sorry!" He started as he pulled out a handkerchief. "Whoa, stop. I'll clean it up myself." Tomoya said but the boy wasn't having it. "Come on, come on" He said with a smile as he began to wipe Tomoya's entire face, his forehead… eyebrows… cheek… lips.

His face was getting closer to Tomoya's as he continued to wipe, Tomoya could feel his breath on his nose. 'Why do I smell something good in that…?' He thought to himself. Tomoya's face turned a little red which made the boy look at him "Eh? What's wrong? Your face is red." The boy informed.

"N-Nothing." Tomoya responded quickly. "Ahh! Geez, don't move. I might hit your eyes!" He stated. "Don't say such scary things." Tomoya said as he twisted his body to get away from the dangerous feeling. The boy gave him a stern look. "Geez, there's still something to clean up you know!" The boy said.

"… Just give me the handkerchief. I'll clean it myself." Tomoya said. "Hmm… Okay." the boy stated as he handed Tomoya the handkerchief. "Thank you" Tomoya replied as he looked at the handkerchief. It looked like a girl's handkerchief. Maybe he was a girl, was running through Tomoya's mind. "By the way what time is it now?" The boy asked. "Um, It's almost Four" Tomoya said. "What!? It's already that time?! Sorry I have to hurry to an interview! Later, Thanks for the resume." He said as he began running off.

Tomoya tried to stop him but he was long gone. Tomoya was left with the handkerchief. "Oh man… I thought I'd return the resume, now it's a handkerchief…? Guess I'll have to return this next time we meet." Tomoya said to himself as he started to drink his juice in one gulp. He looked at the can and sighed. "Now that I think about it, this was bought with my own money." He said to himself as he continued to walk home.
