8. chapter
The entire night had been awkward. Alec didn't know how to sleep, and he was afraid to turn. Lilac had her head on top of his chest the entire night and Magnus was sleeping with his back towards them. Alec starred widely at the big window as he heard Lilac sing in the hallway. He sighed and rubbed his eyes and as he opened them Magnus walked in front of him and pulled the curtains apart. Alec made a disapproved growl and turned around.
"Sorry," Magnus said and walked over to Alec. He sat down on the edge of the bed and touched Alec's shoulders gently. "You didn't get any sleep did you?" Alec shook his head and turned around and looked up at Magnus.
"What time is it?" Alec leaned up on his elbows and starred at Magnus as he fumbled around with the clothes on the ground. He found Alec's cell-phone and tipped it open. He went still and glanced over at Alec. "What?"
"Josh called," he said and gave Alec the phone. "Oh and you have school in 20 minutes." Alec's eyes widened and he flew up the bed and grabbed all his clothes. He pulled it on and fumbled with his hair, trying to look decent. He grabbed his phone and started to text Jace to ask him to take his books to his class. Jace walked pass Alec's class before he went to his own, so it would be easy for him to bring Alec's stuff. He looked at his missed calls and saw 3 from Josh, and he slowly glanced over at Magnus. He walked towards him and stopped in front of him.
"You know that I would never want anything with Josh, right?" Alec said and leaned forward, grapping onto Magnus's bare knees. Magnus nodded and smiled slowly.
"I don't like the guy, that's all," he said and bit his bottom lip. "Especially when he goes to your school."
"How about I call you if I ever jump into him?" Alec said and smirked at how Magnus rolled his eyes. "Or maybe if he ever comes near me I will punch him."
"Hmmm," Magnus hummed and leaned up. "That sounds pretty hot." He captured Alec's lips and sucked in his bottom lip. Alec moaned and pulled away with a sad moan.
"I have to go," he said and licked his lips. "School is waiting."
"Okay," Magnus said and got up and leaned down giving Alec one last kiss. "Go save lives." Alec laughed and shook his head.
"Not yet," he said and turned and walked towards the door.
"Go learn to save lives!" Magnus yelled as Alec opened the door. Alec turned to look at Magnus, smiling and closing the door behind him.

Alec ran all the way to campus. He was pretty sure he was a walking waterfall as he reached his class. The steps and all the corners had been the death of him. He walked towards Jace and gasped for air. He reached out for his bag and swung it over his shoulder.
"Thanks," he said and smiled at Jace.
"You're welcome," Jace said and glanced down at Alec. The look in his golden eyes told Alec that he knew that he had stayed at Magnus's all night. He was sure he was going to ask what had happened and if they had gotten down and dirty. "Did you get down and dir-"
"No, Jace," Alec interrupted and sighed walking pass Jace and into his class. Jace followed him and walked up the steps to sit in the middle row.
"Oh come on," Jace begged and watched as Alec sat down. "Just a little detail."
"We didn't get to do anything because his daughter interrupted," Alec said and blushed, pulling out his books. Jace held in a laugh and he started to snort.
"That's classic!" He laughed out and pushed Alec away to place himself down next to him. "Did she see anything?"
"What?" Alec exclaimed and blushed harder. "No! God no. I sure as hell hope not."
"Would have made one hell of a story," Jace said and leaned against the chair, holding his arms behind his back. "Imaging telling her the story when she grew up."
"I-I would never tell her something like that!" Alec yelled again, feeling his body getting even more heated. "Besides, who says I will be there when she grows up?"
"Well, wont you?" Jace asked and looked at Alec with serious eyes. Alec blinked, taken aback with the question. He haven't really thought about the future with Magnus and Lilac. If he would be there to see Lilac grow up, going to prom, getting her first boyfriend and break up, getting married and having kids. All of this was so far in the future and Alec wasn't there yet. He was here. In the present. He wasn't even an official boyfriend to Magnus. They haven't spoken about that. Alec glanced over at Jace, and saw him starring at him with a stupid grin on his lips.
"What are you even doing here?" He asked, trying to change the subject. "You don't have class here."
"Well, I thought I would keep you company," Jace said and threw his feet up on the table. "When you called me you sounded a little stressed."
"Yeah, I was almost late," Alec said and huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. He watched as the teacher entered and started to place her things at her table. Some of the students went quiet, and some didn't.
Like Jace.
"Are you going to tell me what's up with you?" Jace asked. "You always talk to me and tell me stuff, and now, you just don't."
"Erm, I don't see or contact you for a day, and you assume something is wrong?" Alec blinked and raised an eyebrow. "Are you my mom?"
"No, I'm your best friend. But same thing," Jace whispered as the teacher looked up at them. "Now, tell me."
"Fine," Alec sighed, defeated. "I went to a party last Saturday, and I hooked up with Josh. He-He didn't use a condom and I was afraid I might have caught something. So I went to Magnus and the next morning he took me to one of his friends, who took a sample. And now I just have to wait."
"What!" He screamed and every student turned around and the teacher looked up angry. Alec blushed and stood up taking Jace's hand. He dragged him down the stairs and stopped in front of the teacher.
"I'm sorry ma'am, do you mind if I take my friend out?" Alec asked and the teacher narrowed her eyes. "He has a thin bladder and he just pissed himself." Jace gasped and turned to look at Alec. The teacher grimaced and looked at Jace, before she waved her hand for them to leave. Alec smiled, gratefully and dragged his flushed friend out of the classroom.
They closed the door behind them, and Jace turned to look at Alec with such fury that Alec could feel the heat against his body.
"The asshole didn't use a condom! But you always use a condom! Why the hell didn't you tell him to cover up his fucking dick before he fucked you!"
"Jace!" Alec yelped and blushed. "Calm down, okay. I told him to use a condom, but he didn't listen. I'm not sure if it was because of the heat of the moment or the drugs." Alec shut his mouth when he realized what he had just said. Jace's eyes widened, and they didn't look that golden anymore. They were angry orange.
"Drugs!" Jace screamed even more, his voice almost cracking over. "What the hell, Alec!"
"I know it was stupid. Don't give me the speech, please," Alec sighed, feeling tired. "I don't even know why the hell I took them, I just did. Please, stop being angry and lets just hope that nothing is wrong with me." Jace sucked in his breath and closed his eyes while breathing out. His body seemed to relax and his face lost the red color.
"Right. Okay. Fine. Whatever," he said and shrugged a shoulder. "But if I ever see his stupid face, I will cut of his dick and made him swallow it."
"Jace, that's gross," Alec said but couldn't help but laugh at the reference.
"It's the truth," Jace said and looked proud.
Riiing. Riing.
Alec pulled out his phone and saw Magnus's name flash across his screen. He looked up at Jace, who looked questioning at him.
"Hello," Alec responded and leaned against the wall behind him.
"Alec?" Magnus voice sounded desperate and breathless. Alec leaned away form the wall and covered his other ear.
"Magnus?"
"It-It's Lilac. She had an accident, and, God, there was so much blood." Alec could practically see the tears rolling down Magnus's cheeks. "I don't know what to do."
"Magnus, calm down," Alec said and Jace furrowed his eyebrows. "Where are you?"
"The hospital. I- I don't even remember the damn address," he said sounding frustrated.
"Magnus," Alec said and started to walk down the hallway with large steps, followed by Jace. "I'm on my way, okay? Everything is going to be okay."
