Again, I'm so sorry for not updating this story, I just sort of had a giant writers block, but I know what's going to happen next! Hopefully it won't be too angsty or the next be too fluffy!

Chapter 11

"Belle! Rise and shine, the sheriff's got work to do!" Emma smiled. She watched as Belle groaned and rubbed her eyes, she was only 3 months pregnant but was definitely showing.

"Ok, ok I'm up!" Belle smiled as she got out of bed.

"What's put you in such a good mood?" Emma laughed.

"I had a good nights sleep, I guess." Belle replied.

"Haven't you, always?" Emma replied, her confusion obvious.

"No, not really, I find it hard to fall asleep." Belle shrugged as she began to make her bed.

"Maybe you should drink some tea or something, I know my mom used to when she was pregnant with Neal." Emma advised.

"Maybe, but I'm fine." Belle smiled.

"So what's the plan?" Emma asked curiously.

"I thought we agreed about the whole, setting up a meeting thing?" Belle sighed.

"Yeah, but other plans, like for today. I can drive you to your mom." Emma offered.

"I'd like to walk, if that's OK?" Belle smiled. "To clear my head."

"Yeah, sure! " Emma smiled. "See you, Belle!"

"Bye!" Belle called out.

She went into the bathroom and washed herself up and then began to get dressed, she had a lot to do. A lot to get ready and a lot to sort out, she picked out some comfortable trousers and a flowy top, nothing to restricting. She left her hair out, as she was too tired to style it or do it up and began to head downstairs. She was hungry.

Usually, Rumple would make her breakfast or they'd go down to grannies, but in the months she was alone, she had usually just eaten cereal. So when she came down to see pancakes, freshly made, she grinned like the Cheshire cat.

She walked down the stairs and saw the note attached to the pancakes.

Have a good day! -R

"Regina..." Belle said to herself with a smile. The woman was always baking for her, probably because everyone else was sick of her sweet treats, but Belle didn't mind. She sat down and began to tuck in as she read the paper.

"New arrivals in storybrooke." Belle read, it was Ursula, Cruella and Maleficent. Belle sighed softly, at least no one knew about Rumple, yet. If they did, there would be panic and the Pink House would be flooded with people seeing if she was Ok.

She washed the dishes and left them to dry. She put on her baby pink coat and grabbed her keys as she began to walk to the hospital.

She walked along the parade, she decided to not visit the shop just yet, and she'd tend to it, later on in the day. Her mother was her priority at the moment and the last time she was in there, those 'queens of darkness' had decided to pop by.

But she had her magic now, she would be fine.

She walked into the hospital and headed towards the room her mother was in, it was a private room much like the one David had been in, whilst she was still in the asylum, Mary Margaret had told her.

"Hello, mother!" Belle said brightly.

"Good morning, sweetheart, how are you today?" Colette asked with a warm smile.

"I'm OK. And you?" Belle said as she sat down on the chair next to her mother's bed.

"I'm adjusting well, I've been watching a lot of 'television'. Is that right?" Colette asked warily.

"Yep! Oh, I forgot about the books! I was supposed to bring you some more, wasn't I?" Belle said hastily.

"You needn't worry about that, besides, I have more important things to read." Colette smiled as she opened the small dresser by the bed carefully.

Belle watched her, she had no idea what her mother was talking about, and did someone bring her books? Wait but why would these books be different? They couldn't be books. What was she talking about?

"I need to read the rest of these." Colette smiled as she placed them on her lap.

"What? How? That was years ago? And I thought you were dead? It makes no sense? I...I don't understand." Belle asked in a flurry.

"Now, that carrier pigeon must have been very focused." Colette laughed.

"Mother, I wrote down everything in those letters and asked it to find you, I knew it wouldn't find you. How could they have reached you and survived this long?" Belle said as she picked one up and began to unfold it.

"I have no idea, my sweet. But, it sure is funny to see you ranting about Gaston, to me." Colette laughed.

"Where about are you?" Belle asked, what she really wanted to know was if she had reached the parts about Rumple. At first it was specifically to her mother, but as the years went by they became like diary entries. Ones that would fly away, like writing down your feelings to get rid of anger, but in her case it was her love for him.

"Well, I've reached the part where you wanted to run away, but couldn't leave the kingdom and by the end you had convinced yourself to stay." Colette smiled.

"Oh, wow, so you haven't reached the part where I had a fight with Papa and Gaston, I was adamant that he should just adopt Gaston and that he obviously cared more about him than I." Belle laughed. Little had her past self-known just how messed up her life would be in the future. If only Gaston, was still her biggest problem. She sighed; she'd never give up this life though. All the bad, all the good that was what made her, herself. It defined her. Made her the person she was. She could have been a spoilt little Queen, only caring about the latest party, her husband's latest endeavour, but instead here she was. She would take this life over the life she could have had with Gaston a thousand times.

"Your father only wanted what was best." Colette said as she smiled at her daughter.

"You've changed a lot, from the young woman who wanted to make sure her favourite book didn't get taken away by the ogres." Colette laughed.

"She's still in there." Belle smiled. Giving her mother hope that she could be happy again was important, she couldn't have her worrying.

"Anyway, so, when are they letting you go?" Belle smiled.

"Um, actually tonight." Colette replied.

"You can come live with me!" Belle squealed.

"Oh darling, as much as I would love that, I've already told your father that I'd be staying with him, plus you have a lot more important things to worry about." Colette smiled.

"Oh, I guess your right, but I'll visit everyday!" Belle smiled.

"I wouldn't have it any other way!" Colette replied with a smile. "But, you should get going, you must have stuff to do and I have letters to read."

"I suppose, good bye, mother. I love you." Belle smiled.

"And I, you." Colette said with a grin as she kissed her daughters forehead.

"Have fun!" Colette called out after her.

"I will!" Belle shouted.

Belle walked out of the hospital when she saw him. He was standing there, caught off guard by her presence. He stared at her, as if she was the only person there. She ignored him and began walking in the opposite direction. She would have to walk the long way home. As she continued walking, a car stopped slowly beside her, it was Ruby.

"Hey there, little miss smiles." Ruby joked.

"Haha. Ruby, hilarious." Belle replied with a sarcastic tone.

"You know I'm hilarious, now come on." Ruby said with a smile.

"Where?" Belle said with a smile.

"Just get in, Belles!" Ruby laughed.

"Fine!" Belle smiled as she opened the door and sat in.

Ruby began to drive off, once they had turned around the corner, Ruby immediately turned her head towards Belle.

"Oh my god! A thank you would be nice!" Ruby laughed.

"What?" Belle replied.

"With Mr Gold staring." Ruby laughed.

"I was fine! I can handle myself! Everyone keeps treating me like a child!" Belle sighed.

"That's because we love you!" Ruby smiled.

"I love you too." Belle smiled.

"Come on! Let's get you inside!" Ruby smiled.

"I can walk perfectly fine, Ruby, I swear!" Belle laughed.

"You're my best friend, and your pregnant. Let me be a good aunt, to my little niece or nephew!" Ruby said talking to Belles belly.

"Here that little one, I told you, your Aunt Ruby was crazy." Belle whispered to her belly.

"Be nice! Who was there with the morning sickness?" Ruby laughed.

"You, but..." Belle began.

"No, buts. I'm spoiling my little cupcake in there." Ruby smiled at Belles belly as they walked into the house.

"Ok, it's weird, look at me, not my belly." Belle laughed.

"Heyy, Regina's being awfully nice." Ruby said as she looked at the note, from earlier in the morning.

"I heard my name?" Regina said as she came out of the living room.

"Hey, Regina." Belle smiled.

"I was just saying that you're being awfully cute, making pancakes for Belle. Didn't think you had it in you." Ruby laughed.

"Well I am awfully cute, but I did not make pancakes for Belle." Regina sighed as she read the note that Ruby had given her.

"Yep, because who else did?" Ruby said sarcastically.

"I'm a sophisticated woman, I don't make pancakes." Regina said.

"Oh god!" Belle shouted.

"What is it?" Ruby asked.

"Don't you see, it was him! -R. R for Rumple. Oh god. How did he get in?!" Belle shouted.

"Well it is his house too." Ruby said.

"Now's not the time." Regina scolded.

"I should have seen through that!" Belle sighed as she sat down.

"All he did was make you pancakes, he didn't exactly poison you." Ruby offered.

"Yeah, he's probably trying to make amends, just calm down, stress isn't good." Regina said.

"Why doesn't he just come and talk to me if he wants to make amends, honestly, I..." Belle didn't finish as the other two women had stood up after hearing a knock at the door.

Regina stood up to get the door, if it was Rumplestiltskin; she had a better chance at making him leave than Ruby.

She took a deep breath as she walked up to the front door and slowly began to twist the doorknob and lock simultaneously.

"Regina, I just wish to talk to..." Rumple let out before Regina shut the door in his face.

She walked back to Belle and smiled, "See, problem solved, now why don't you guys go make some lunch."

"No, I want to. I want to do it." Belle said as she stood up.

"Do what, Belles?" Ruby asked.

"I want to talk to him." Belle said triumphantly.

"Are you sure, I mean, are you ready?" Regina asked.

"I'll be fine, if I need you I'll call you or I'll use some of my little tricks." Belle attempted to joke to put her friends at ease. She didn't need them both worrying.

"Belle." Ruby called after her as she walked to the door.

"I'll be fine. Just don't interrupt us, even if things get heated, I want to deal with this properly." Belle smiled.

"Thank you guys for everything." Belle smiled.

She walked over to the door and opened it and her eyes fell onto him. Her husband, her love, her Rumple. The man that loved her, the man that died for her, the man that betrayed her, that lied to her, that broke promises.

"I'm ready to talk if you are." Belle said coolly.

"I...I." Rumplestiltskin attempted to let out, but he couldn't

He hadn't seen her for so long and now he was finally seeing her; he had missed her so much. She was there, in front of him, talking to him, she was real.

Belle let him in and began walking through their house to the study; she let him come in before locking the door. She didn't want her friends to interfere.

"Can you do a privacy spell? Please." Belle said as she tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Of course." Rumple said with a soft smile.

He let the magic run from his fingers around the room, now no one could hear them.

So? What did you guys think! Again I'm sorry for not updating! Anyway, I have a really good idea of what's to come next. There was sort of a clue as to where the story is going in the chapter! Let's see if you guys can guess it!
