Hello again humans. this chapter is named The Twins because well the twins show up quite a bit here and you learn more about them, yay you

Kagome woke up snuggled into Inuyasha's bare chest, she ran her hands up the smooth, muscular contours and stopped where his beaded necklace started. She played with the beads remembering him telling her once that the reason he wore it was because some miko 50 years ago stuck it on him and he couldn't get it off. She sighed remembering the days on her families old shrine, before whispering to herself, "I used to be a miko too."

She hadn't realized Inuyasha had woken up as she was rubbing his chest, he looked down at her through wide eyes as she toyed with his necklace, "used to be?"

She jumped slightly, "you were awake!?"

"It's hard not to be with a curvaceous rebel assassin rubbing up and down your chest like the sexy fox she is, what do you mean used to be pet?"

She frowned, annoyed he had been listening, "none of your business fuckface."

He blinked at her in surprise, not by the insult -that was normal- but because she refused to tell something that clearly hurt her but she was so open about her family, so why not this? "I think it is pet, it's very hard for a miko to lose her powers I had only seen it once before and the bitch turned evil first."

She shifted away from him and got out of bed, "consider your wondering part of your punishment."

He growled and followed her from the bed pulling her back to him by her waist and growling in her ear, "reconsider that statement."

She rolled her eyes but told him anyways, "It was after my mom dies, I was so young and I didn't understand what was happening. Being all alone I struggled to survive, I needed help."

Inuyasha nodded wondering where this was going.

And eventually I did. She was a women with a wolfish smile and treacherous eyes, she would do anything for money." Kagome hesitated for a moment before continuing, "she met me on the street one day, I was so skinny and dehydrated and she offered to take me under her wing. I was so desperate I would do anything so I agreed, and before I knew it I was living with this women I didn't really know. It didn't last long, our arrangement, one day she met a demon who had an interesting hobby of collecting different magics. He noticed I was a miko, he didn't have the power of a miko in his collection yet..." She trailed off leaning into Inuyasha.

Inuyasha had heard of demons who did this, they used enchanted jars and cases to lock up magic of different demons, witch's, miko's, and any other magic they could get ahold of. It didn't take a genius to figure out what had happened to Kagome, "She brought you to him and helped him take your Miko powers from you." He growled sickened by the fact that someone had done that to his Kagome, it explained a huge part of why she was so closed off. she was on her own at such a young age and the person supposed to help her betrayed her.

She nodded, still not facing him, "it hurt so much. and for the longest time I didn't feel...whole."

Another growl escaped his throat, "I'm sorry pet."

She smiled to herself lightly, "don't worry scruffy, after all these years I feel whole again."

Inuyasha turned her around and pulled her into a hug, "I love you too pet."

"mmmmhhhm, your still in trouble." She pulled away from him and walked from the room, still in her pajama shorts and tank top. She walked through the hall's of the Peace Zone's base contemplating way's to punish her lover. She smiled, loving that she could call him that and only she could, she wouldn't deny how possessive she has become over Inuyasha. In her mind she had the right to be, she didn't miss the way he would pull her in as close as possible when they were out of the Blood Hounds base and how he would kiss her or plant his hand straight on her ass once he noticed any other man looking at her. She thought about flirting with another man to piss him off, show him what he could lose, but then she realized he would probably just kill the fool and then tie her to the bed and 'punish' her to display his possession over her...that and she was afraid of men, so that option was thrown out the window almost as quickly as she thought it up. Then she thought about simply denying him of all things sexual for a while, covering up her body more and always wearing shirts that covered her tattoo, but she had decided a while back that she loved the sex and loved the hungry look in his eyes when she walked by naked or in little to nothing...she would probably hate the lack of sex and addition of clothing just as much as he would, so one again back to the drawing board she went. Her next idea was to give him quite the credit card bill by taking Sango and Rin on a shopping spree, but he would probably not care and even ask her to model a few thing's for him before ripping her clothing off and ravishing her. Her final idea felt much more like the old her, the real her. Not the petty little girl ideas she had before no, if she was going to punish Inuyasha, she was going to punish him. With that in mind she headed to the Peace Zone's secret armory.

A little while later with Inuyasha

Inuyasha strode down the hallways wondering where on earth Kagome had run off to, again. He wasn't worried knowing from her constant, somewhat out of character, snuggling and soft butterfly kisses on his lips and skin that in no part of her mind was she considering leaving him. His Kagome would never touch something she detested, he knew that from experience. So instead he decided to explore his girlfriends little safe haven, Walking down the streets he felt his mind flash back to a time before signs of an oncoming gang war showed themselves and before his rebellious lover was even born. A time where women and children could walk in the light without fear, where bombings and mass murder was a rarity not a reality. He wouldn't say he wanted a world like that again, no. He enjoyed the chaos too much, loved the ability to do what he wanted whenever he wanted. But to show Kagome a world like that and watch her eyes widen in wonderment and her smile come easily like it did here he couldn't deny the part of him that wanted that, but at the same time he knew, she would not live in a world like that easily. She was perfect for him, she may like her peace but she loves the chaos...which is why he worried over what she would decide to punish him with. He knew if he couldn't stop her even if he tried and wished she would use some petty girls version of punishment, but while she had the body of freaking goddess the girl had the mind that could top some of the most cunning and cruel demons. He was slightly worried buy the fact that little tid bit about her turned him on, what sane man wanted a women who would dismember people without batting an eye. He smiled and reminded himself that he wash't exactly sane and he would have no issue screwing her in her victim's blood. He made a mental note to either get some mental help or extra hours at the gym to work out his frustration when he realized that scenario turned him on a bit as well. He was pulled from his thoughts when the two twins, Doom and Gloom, dropped down on either side of him from a tree. one of the twins, he didn't know which, smiled, "hello dog boss!"

He rose a brow at the twin who spoke, "what?"

The next twin piped up, "Doom and I were wondering where your lover aka our leader lady is."

the first one, apparently Doom clapped his hands together, "OH! she's his leading lady and our leader lady!"

"OH! or his lover lady!"

The twins high-fived behind Inuyasha's head and the Hanyo felt his eye twitch, the twins made him want to smash his head against the wall, "why would I know?"

The twins rolled their eyes at one another, "because she's your lover."

"she's also Kagome, she's free to go where she pleases when she pleases."

Gloom grinned slyly, "Really? you seemed pretty freaked last night."

Inuyasha snapped his head in his direction, surprised, no one but his top six was supposed to know about Kagome's disappearing act.

Doom spoke next, "we are leader lady's top spies. its our job to know things."

Inuyasha snorted, "well your clearly pretty damn good at it if none of my men sensed you."

The twins seemed pleased by this and spoke in unison once more, "why thank you, dog boss!"

Inuyasha did not understand these two, "and your happy why?"

Doom beamed at him striding backwards, "Our leader lady sees you as a worthy lover." he faded off as he shot through an ally off to some unknown destination

Gloom picked up where his brother left off, "if your good enough for her, your good enough for us." That was all Inuyasha got before Gloom disappeared as well.

He shook his head as he wondered the peaceful streets, of course the people Kagome put in charge had to be lunatics too.

A few hours later

Inuyasha walked into Kagome and his room to find her asleep on their bed, his side to be exact, she snuggled into one of his pillows a somehow similar peaceful smile on her face. He wondered what her rebels would say if they knew she was such a cuddler in her sleep, then he realized where that smile came from, it was much like her smile to feign innocence and delight only this one was smaller like she knew something you didn't. that one meant she had gotten what she wanted and you didn't even know it, "Fuck she doe's that in her sleep too?"

Somewhere in her unconscious mind she must have heard him because she snuggled deeper into his pillow and her soft murmur reached his ears, "I make things," her smile widened in her sleep, "go boom."

The soft smile forming on Inuyasha's lips as he watched her sleep faded instantly as her words hit him, "fucking shit! that crazy bitch!" He walked over to her and shook her shoulder lightly until her surreal blue eyes fluttered open, "Kagome, what goes boom?"

She smiled lazily and sleepily at him, stretching her arms out on the bed before reaching up towards him, "c'mere scruffy, I wanna play with my puppy." she pulled his head down to her and sealed her lips over hers.

Inuyasha allowed himself to enjoy kissing her and sliding his tongue across hers, joining her on the bed, for a few minuets. Normally he would happily oblige to her sexual whims, but this was not normally, she had been near explosives while she was still unhappy with him, and then comes back wanting sex? yeah no. she did something. So after those few delicious minutes, he pulled back and propped himself on one elbow, "what did you do pet?"

She looked up at him, clearly irritated, "well I was about to do you but apparently you have other plans."

He rolled his eyes at her antics, "I just need you to answer a few questions."

She grabbed the collar of his shirt an pulled him down into another hungry kiss, murmuring against his lips, "sex first, questions later."

He wished she felt that way when she was the one asking questions. He pulled away from her plump pink lips once more, "what did you blow up pet?"

She flopped onto the bed, "I think I need to invest in a vibrator. you are clearly not doing your job right," she gestured to her lower region, "I mean cant you smell arousal or whatever?"

Inuyasha glanced at her partly spread legs, it physically hurt to take his eyes off the tight fabric, her sent was intoxicating and he was seriously considering letting himself get distracted, "I can smell when your on your cycle, of course I can smell when your aroused."

She smiled at him happily, "good! so whats the problem?"

his eyes scanned her body again, the swell of her large breasts, her tiny waist, an the flare of her hips; forever hinting at her perfect ass, His eyes once again rested on her toned thighs. He loved being in between those thighs and mile long legs in general, probably more than what was considered normal or healthy. But...he still had to keep his work in mind, "as much as I would love the distraction. I do need to know."

"I havent blown anything up." She straddled his stomach and began unbuttoning his shirt, raking her fingers down his chest knowing he loved it, before placing soft kissed and nips on his jawline.

He groaned lightly at her ministrations, "then what are you going to blow up."

She sighed against his jaw, "damn it Inuyasha. Nothing I do is going to get you naked is it?"

He smiled slightly at her, "answering my questions will."

She groaned and rolled off of him, much to his un-admitted displeasure -he had wanted her to remain straddling him even if they didn't do anything-, "Seriously scruffy? are you really going to make me buy a vibrator?"

"apparently. I have a gang to run pet and I'm pretty sure you plan on hindering a few things."

"yeah well your hindering my hormones."

He chuckled, "its not my fault your a horny little beast."

She narrowed her eyes at him and leaned in to whisper in his ear, "yes it is. It's also you fault that I've been a bad, bad girl."

Her husky whisper nearly sent him over the edge, surly this women was trying to kill him, "in that case, tell me what you've done wrong so I can properly punish you."

She huffed, "I'm not getting laid without answering your questions am I?"

He shook his head, "nope."

She sighed, "fine Ill take care of it myself, Ill be in the shower if you change your mind."

Inuyasha's eyes widened, She's kidding right? Apparently not because a few seconds later she was gone, the bathroom door slamming and locking behind her. He stared at the door as the shower started, frustrated both mentally and sexually, "seriously?!"

He contemplated going in after her and giving her what she wanted, but he was always a stubborn man, so instead he waited for her. when she finally came out she simply strode past him into the closet, when she came out in a tank top and a pair of his sweats she smiled, "what time is it?"

He glanced at his phone, "8:25, why?"

She smiled and raised her hand, slowly lowering her fingers one by one, once her fist had closed his phone rang and she winked, "thats why."

He slowly picked up his phone, "what?"

one of his men shakily informed him that one of the Blood Hound's drug shipments out of Japan had been blown up, Inuyasha hung up with a growl only to get another call about a weapon's shipment, followed by another about a warehouse. His growls grew louder with each call, when the third one ended he glared at Kagome still growly. She simply smiled at him sweetly, "great now that your questions are answered can we play? your better at satisfying me."

He practically snarled at her, "you blew up my drugs, my weapons, and my warehouse!"

"yup."

"And now you want to have sex?"

"well I wanted that before too, but yeah."

"no!"

She frowned at him, "I told you I was going to punish you and its not like those little bombings hurt you or the Blood Hounds."

He ran a clawed hand through his hair, "Kagome!"

"Inuyasha."

"Look...I know you wanted to punish me for hurting you but, blowing up my shit?"

She smiled, "you know how I love to make things go boom, dog boy."

He growled at her, "c'mere pet."

She narrowed her eyes at him, "you know I can't be in trouble for this right?"

He smiled at her slyly, "I know, now c'mere."

She shook her head and started heading towards the door when he shot up from the bed and grabbed her by the waist, pulling her against him. She gasped, "let go of me!"

He shook his head and chuckled darkly, "no way."

Kagome squirmed in his arms, trying to get out of his iron grip, it was times like this she hated his demon strength. She groaned in frustration, deciding she would have to get tactical, "Inuyasha, your hurting me!"

"Kagome, don't even try playing the weak girl card, me and you both know your fine."

She rolled her eyes, "Fine. either let me go or I stab you in the balls."

He mentally flinched and let her go, only to spin her around and press her against the wall, "thats not nice pet. and you broke our deal by attacking part of the Blood Hounds, if the fact it was you gets back to any of my men, your rebels will be seen as fair game."

She seemed to think about this for a moment before fake pouting at him, "...whoops."

Inuyasha couldn't help the laugh that escaped him, "you just endangered all your rebels and all you have to say is a half assed whoops?"

She smirked at him, "well we don't have anything to worry about. My rebels could kick your bitches asses no problem."

Inuyasha growled playfully at her, "is that a challenge?"

Kagome leaned in and brushed her lips lightly against his, "you know it dog boy." Then she slipped out the door and ran down the hall.

Inuyasha shook his head before chasing her down the hall, he knew he should be angrier at her for blowing up his things but he probably would have been disappointed had she done anything less. Kagome's were wild creatures after all, not easy to train and even harder to keep track of. It was one of the reasons he wanted her so badly. They darted through hallways and out the building, down the streets and up fire escapes, He could have caught her any time but if he was being honest he enjoyed the chase. He caught her around the waist in the middle of a rooftop garden, pulling them both down onto the plush layer of grass someone planted in a large square box as it was some strange outdoor carpet, "caught you."

She grinned up at him brilaintly before rolling them over and flicking one of his ears as she lie on his chest, "did you now?"

He grinned back, "mhhmmm, you know it pet." He leaned up and kissed her softly before pulling away, "your different here."

Her smile faded and her brows furrowed, "different?"

He nodded, stroking her back lazily, "It's not bad different, just different. Your calm,even your usual sarcasm has calmed."

She cocked her head to the side slightly, "so I'm better here?"

"No. Just different, still you, just ask my sunken drug ship, sunken weapons ship, and dead warehouse. But you seem happier here."

Kagome nodded, "yeah it's a nice retreat...but I get restless here if I stick around too long."

Inuyasha kissed her again, "I figured."

She smiled against his lips sinking into the kiss, it was rare that Inuyasha and her got a moment of peace and even more so that they kept it peaceful. She loved the chaos of their relationship, but she had to admit that the peace was nice too. she pulled away from his lips for a moment, "Hey Scruffy?"

"hmmm?"

"I love you."

Inuyasha looked at her a tad bit shocked at the softness in her voice as she said it, "I love you too."

She grinned devilishly at him before leaning in to whisper, "don't even think about leaving our room when we get back to the Blood Hounds base."

He growled playfully at her and nipped her bottom lip before rolling them over again, "I wouldn't dream of it." With that he sealed his lips over hers again.

A bit later with Kikyo.

Kikyo sat on her bed in the room she was given the two twins grinning foolishly at her. She stared at them stone faced, "what?"

The first twin cocked his head to the side, "you know if you weren't so cold and you know an evil slut, you might be pretty."

The other twin nodded, "But you are cold and evil and slutty. sucks."

Kikyo sighed in frustration, these two annoyed her, "I didn't mean your thoughts. I meant what are you doing here."

The twins spoke in unison, "ohhh, we're watching you."

She wanted to bang her head against the wall, she swore these two were more annoying than Kagome, "why are you watching me?"

The first twin shrugged, "someones got to do suicide watch."

"I'm not going to kill myself."

"And we don't trust your word pregnant lady."

She pursed her lips. this was going to be the longest 9 months of her life, she might as well use it as she could, "what do you think of Inuyasha's relationship with your leader?"

The second twin seemed to think for a moment, "I think boss dog and leader lady make a good team, their opponents don't stand a chance."

The other twin nodded in agreement.

"I meant what do you think personally? she's your friend right?"

The first twin answered this time, "I think Kagome has a certain feeling of peace she had not had before."

The second one smiled, "She has no idea we have waited for that feeling to show up around her."

The looked at each other and grinned before looking back at Kikyo and speaking as one, "she's like a sister to us you know."

Kikyo fought the urge to roll her eyes, "your so called sister probably fears her big brothers. afraid of men remember?"

the first twin grinned, "Not us."

The second winked, "we weren't men when we met her. not even boys."

Kikyo gave them a strange look, "...what?"

The twins laughed, "we were dressed as girls!"

She blinked at them, "why?"

The shrugged, "because."

The first one winked, "we stayed girls for a bit, and when she found out we were boys she didn't seem bothered by us at all like she was the other boys."

The second one nodded, "I guess since we didn't hurt her while she was being tricked she didn't care. she knew we wouldn't hurt her."

Kikyo nodded, "I see.."

The twins looked at her oddly before the first one spoke, "why do you hate leader lady?"

Kikyo ave the boys an even look, "she walked into my home, stole my position, got me demoted, and then stole my man. is that reason enough?"

Just then Kagome waltzed into the room, "Last I checked stealing people involves force, rope, dark room's, and possibly drugs. Inuyasha was not forced, tied up, shoved into a dark room, or drugged, therefore he was not stolen. He is a man Kikyo not property, get over it." She smiled softly at doom and gloom before turning her attention back to Kikyo, "oh and he was never your man, you got yourself demoted and I never took your position, I rose above it. Gloom."

The first twin perked up, "yes leader lady?"

"what are you two doing here?"

The twins grinned at her, "we were bored and wanted to see what the pregnant lady was like."

The second twin -Doom- frowned, "she's not very nice. and she's boring."

Kagome rolled her eyes, "I could have told you that. Now I have been searching for you for ten minuets. You boys have a Job to do, remember?"

The twins nodded, "Oh yeah that!" with that the two boys retreated from the room.

Once the door shut behind them Kagome turned to Kikyo, "don't make this harder on yourself and don't do anything stupid. This could have been worse."

Kikyo snorted, "I have been done wro-"

Before she had finished Kagome left the room and slammed the door.

With Doom and Gloom

Doom and Gloom walked around their special, private, room...well more like building in the Peace Zone. It was filled with their various tools of disguise, various ways of molding masks and other parts, to clothes and colored contacts. No one knew how Doom and Gloom got their various things and no one asked. Doom was in the middle of applying their specially made liquid skin to the seam between glooms head and his long bright red wig, it was meant to make the hair on his head look real and did a damn good job...well the hair was already real but it was supposed to make it look like it was his. after the wig was on and Doom put on his latex wig cap, Gloom spoke up, "you think pregnant lady is planning something?"

Doom thought about it as Gloom went over the same process on his short black wig, "yes brother I think she is."

The two set about attaching fake claws and changing the appearance of their faced through the addition of jaw, cheekbones, nose, ear and various other pieces before adding in their fangs, "well...we just can't let that happen eh Doom?"

Doom nodded as he put in his pitch black contacts, blinking as their formula fused to the whites oh his eyes, "agreed." He looked into dooms now golden catlike eyes and ficked one pointy ear, "we are absolutely wonderful at our job aren't we?"

Gloom laughed and switched his voice to one sounding more like a smooth rumbling purr rather than his usual animated voice, "why yes brother we are."

Doom laughed as well adjusting his voice to a deep scratchy growl as he flashed a fanged grin to his brother, "tat me?"

His brother nodded and grabbed their tattoo spray gun.

No one outside the Peace Zone other than a select few knew that Doom and Gloom were twin's and they almost always made sure that their disguise's made them look completely unrelated. It wouldn't do much good if twins kept popping up places and causing trouble, twins were not common and people would soon catch on. The twins loved their job, long ago they had found they had a very special ability to alter their pitch, changing their voices from anything from a little girl to an old man, they had grown much to old to disguise as a women without days of work so they rarely did that as well...still they were proud of their ability and had taken the time learning how to change their walks and even breathing patterns. No one truly knew the extent of Doom and Gloom's abilities, except Kagome, although she too had no idea where they got their supplies, she knew the twins better than anyone. The twins loved her for that and loved that she appreciated their work, not forcing them into battles they could probably do well in and survive, but rather let them do recon and spy as they had wanted. To them that showed her trust and it was a gift, Doom and Gloom could be anyone they wanted but Kagome let them be them. The two took over the Peace Zone and had run it as they believed she would like while sticking to their own belief's and they would get jobs like this one several times a year, they liked their life after meeting Kagome. The twins grinned at each other, knowing they had both been thinking about when Kagome had found them out as boys and rather than the rage or disgust they had gotten many times before she seemed purely fascinated and appreciated what they could do. She liked when they played their games almost as much as they enjoyed playing them. They had figured out long ago that to Kagome, the world was one big, cruel, game. And she too enjoyed playing it in her own way. The two twins grin's widened as they spoke together, "Its play time." The strode from their room, knowing they needed to be at their destination by morning.

So there was a bit more on Doom and Gloom because I think they deserved their own little part and background or whatever.
