'I have a surprise for you'
Those six words arrived on the Tuesday following Harry's excursion to Hogsmeade. Of course, he'd had several days to ponder the meaning behind the cryptic message, but hadn't come up with anything good. All he could assume was that Jake –who had sent the letter- had some kind of surprise for him. His supposition wasn't much of a help, seeing as that was exactly what the note had stated. That Saturday had dawned frostier than ever, and he had even spotted a few flecks of snow in the air. Harry was kind of glad he didn't have to go to Quidditch practise anymore. It was always relatively torturous playing in the sleet.
The hushed whispers that filled the Hall threw him a little, and he immediately noticed why. At the staff table was a familiar looking young man that sported a crop of straight blonde hair. Harry couldn't work out who the newcomer was, but was absolutely certain he'd seen the man somewhere before. He couldn't help but feel a rather strong desire for the man, something that greatly perturbed him, as he normally didn't feel such a compulsive attraction to anyone but his boyfriend. He could see that Hermione took much amusement in watching him suffer. It was rather untypical of him to spend so much time gawking at men.
"If you spend too much more time staring at the poor guy he might get the wrong idea," she smirked, and Harry was sure it was just to see him squirm.
The noise levels in the Great Hall were a lot lower than they usually were, probably because nobody wanted to miss the forthcoming announcement. As Harry observed the blonde, he realised there was something awfully recognisable about the way he coughed, but still couldn't put his finger on the answer. Eventually the Headmaster stood to address the students.
"I'm sure you've spotted our newest part-time Professor. Mr Jacob Hillier will be taking over the Muggle Music classes, as well as joining the fifth year students in their studies." He paused and chuckled, turning to Jake as he did "I'm sure the Gryffindors are of the most interest to you."
Dead silence blanketed the Hall as the students contemplated the Headmaster's words. All in all, Harry was pleasantly shocked -he had been expecting a song with some raunchy lyrics at best. He couldn't quite manage a response when Hermione enquired about the new developments, and instead of being ogled at, he stood, coffee in hand, and departed, quite determined to make the final few preparations for the Defence group meeting that evening. He could hear footsteps hurrying toward him, and knew it could only be one of four suspects.
"Are you mad at me?" Jake asked worriedly as the Great Hall doors swung shut behind them.
"Not particularly, just a little bit astonished, after all, I didn't even know you're a freaking wizard. I got kind of scared just now though, because I thought you were hot, but I didn't recognise you properly because I've never seen your natural hair colour, and Hermione kept teasing me and I knew I saw you somewhere, but I couldn't quite place my finger on it, and…" Harry babbled, appreciatively drinking in the sight of his boyfriend.
"It'll be back to normal tomorrow morning, I promise, the green wore out a few days ago, it has been nearly eight weeks since I dyed it, and I was my hair every day," Jake grinned, "I'm quite surprised no one showed you my school photo from year nine, it's pretty much only acne and blonde hair."
Harry dearly wanted to be closer to Jake, to hug him, but couldn't bring himself to actually do it. What if someone saw them, he fretted internally, as he tried not to let his insecurities shine through. Where they even allowed to have a relationship anymore? Harry had no idea, but wanted, no, needed to know the truth, but didn't know if his heart could take the strain if it was not permitted.
Jake's hand, frigid and rough, closed on Harry's wrist and he was tugged into a tight embrace. His arms settled comfortably -naturally even- around the other's waist, and there was a pause, a femtosecond where neither moved. Jake stooped without hesitation, so confidently that Harry's doubts were almost washed away. Harry was completely and utterly astounded. Did his boyfriend really just imply that they were allowed to carry on as they were? He sincerely hoped that was indeed the case. As he thought over the words once more, he was jerked quite suddenly, and pulled through a door.
"Welcome home," Jake all but purred in Harry's ear. That alone, those two words were nearly enough to have him on his knees. He was almost certain Jake wouldn't have minded.
There was a click, and Harry assumed Jake had locked the door. He didn't know if his legs would support him for much longer, but he wasn't about to give up. It was getting increasingly difficult to force enough air into his lungs. Both were more than a little reluctant to part, but the need for oxygen was rather pressing, and Harry could hear a faint rasping sound as his boyfriend inhaled. Not a particularly good sign. Jake's hands, large, calloused and cold were under Harry's t-shirt, caressing the small of his back softly, soothing his burning skin. Harry felt as if he were going insane. Once more, Harry was yanked by the wrist, however this time, he collapsed on the white sofa, with Jake kneeling between his legs in such a delightful manner that Harry shuddered, experiencing a minor sensory overload. Boldly, he ground his hips upwards, mildly surprised when Jake abruptly stood and departed. All in all, Harry was rather confused.

During their last –and first- encounter, Harry for the most part had been rather passive, being the more inexperienced of the two, but this time, he was determined to be better, resolute in his desire to make his partner writhe in ecstasy. Draco glanced around, and saw both Potter and the new Professor emerging from a door he hadn't paid any attention to whatsoever. It was unnerving to say the least. "Well to be fair, I have been a bit of a dick in the past," he informed them petulantly. He didn't even know why he said so much about himself in front of a teacher, most of them were under the impression that he was just a bit snobbish at times.

Draco took his place a little way apart from everyone else -he was more than certain there was going to be a mutiny by the looks he was getting.
"What the fuck is he doing here?" One very angry Gryffindor asked.
"Are you talking about the Slytherin or the teacher here? I'm going to assume you're on about the Slytherin here, and say, I trust him not to go to Umbridge as soon as this is over, I assure you he has no ulterior motive in being here, other than presumably to learn defence. As for the teacher, Jake honestly doesn't give a flying fuck about breaking the rules," Harry stated casually, grinning at his companion.
Jake nodded, and pointedly sat beside Draco.
"So, today I'm going to talk about what we're doing here, and I'm also going to answer a few questions that I'm sure you guys have," Harry began, his voice stronger and more confident that Draco had ever heard it. "I realise that I've probably alienated a lot of you this year, to go from being a Quidditch obsessed slacker student, to a music obsessed student that despite having an ass-tonne of work still manages to squirrel away hours in a music room, who also has a boyfriend, when everyone thought I was after Cho Chang or Ginny Weasley… yeah I can see why people are a little bit sceptical to be honest."
There was an interested muttering from the main body of the group.
"As of yet, this group doesn't have a name, it will do shortly, and by shortly I mean after Christmas. So it seems we have a range of year groups here today, and so I'm going to start at the very beginning, which is ultimately a very good place to start, when you read you begin with A, B, C and in Defence Against the Dark Arts we begin with Expelliarmus. What, were you expecting a fucking 'do, re, mi'?"
From beside him, Draco could see Jake shake his head, as if embarrassed by the bad pun.
"A lot of you are now looking at me as if to say 'Aw, but Harry, I already know how to cast Expelliarmus, I don't need to learn that first-year shit' okay, I nominate, oh, I don't know, fuck it, Draco, come up here."
Nervously, Draco stood and faced Harry, aware of the fact that the entirety of the class probably wanted to see some kind of misfortune befall him.
"Disarm me," Harry instructed simply.
Evidently –from all the huffing and puffing- that was not the outcome the class was hoping for. Draco fished his wand out of his pocket and aimed it at Harry. With a dramatic flair, Harry too produced his wand.
"Expelliarmus," he incanted simply, and was thoroughly disappointed when the other's wand did nothing more than wiggle. Draco cringed internally at the innuendo.
"There you go, Fifth Year, pretty good student, probably taught defence from the moment he could babble a spell, what does that tell you?" Harry continued.
Draco tried to take his seat as conspicuously as he could. He didn't make it very far though.
"Excuse me, I'm not done with you. Expelliarmus!"
Draco's wand flew out of his hand, and Potter deftly caught it.
"Tadaa, the first time I used that spell was on Professor Snape at the end of my third year, I don't condone casting spells at Professors by the way, generally it makes them quite angry. Here you go, you can have this back," Harry passed the wand back, and Draco gratefully sat back in his seat. "Each lesson we'll do between five and ten spells, I have immense confidence in all of you, none of you can't do this shit okay, it'll take time and you have to practise in your own time. How many times can I say time I wonder, time to find out. Time.
"With my scheme in mind, we should progress relatively quickly to OWL level spells and beyond, if we near the exams and we're not quite there with the advanced spells, I'll do extra lessons, just for the Sixth and Seventh Years, yes I feel that's probably for the best, in fact, we might cover more than just defence, this would be a really good opportunity for revision in all subjects, because everyone here has a unique talent.
"Neville, you're brilliant at Herbology, Draco's pretty good at Potions, and so is Hermione, we all have our strengths, so if it was agreeable to everyone, maybe we could do more than defence, I don't know, I'll decide later. All I can say is be prepared to work hard.
"Okay onto the really exciting stuff, question time with Harry Potter, go ahead, ask away my pretties."
"Couldn't be any weirder there, could you Dorian?" Jake muttered.
Now, that there peaked Draco's interest. Dorian? What was the significance of that, he wondered. He wasn't the only one.
"How did you earn the nickname Dorian?" Someone asked hopefully, probably already knowing they weren't going to get a straight answer.

"What's your favourite colour?" A Hufflepuff girl asked, giggling amongst her friends.
Draco sighed, of all the things to ask during a free-for-all that was the best she could do?
"Whatever colour Mr Rainbow has in his hair."
"When did you and Mr Rainbow get together?" Another girl asked. Draco realised he really needed to learn the names of everyone in the group, otherwise he'd look like and anti-social git.
"I don't honestly think Jake appreciates being called Mr Rainbow, err the end of June I think."
"Actually, Mr Rainbow is a pretty good name, I like it," Jake supplied, and Draco couldn't be sure, but he thought the other was enjoying himself. He was sure he'd understand the man once he heard more about him.
"Do you really believe You Know Who is back?" A Ravenclaw queried distrustfully.
"Oh yeah, I was actually going to talk to you about that. I don't honestly care if you believe Voldemort is back, what I am asking you to be aware of is that there are a group of people, Death Eaters mainly, who do and are therefore more likely to carry out the will of their Dark Master. While there was no word of Voldemort, his followers laid low for a few years, believing it was in their best interests to be inconspicuous with the exception of a few in the early days of his 'death', now something is causing them to be more active, what that cause is, you can decide for yourself."
"Boxers or briefs?" Draco decided to enter the fun himself, what was the point if he couldn't enjoy himself.
"Briefs of course, it's damn tricky to stuff boxers into skinny jeans. Last question I think, I'm fucking tired."
"Could you please explain what happened during the third task last year?" Zacharias Smith asked haughtily. Draco grimaced, everyone thought he was a elitist, but in his own opinion, Smith was even worse.
"Before I begin, I would like to say, I've developed a light-hearted view of this story, if I didn't, I would probably be horribly depressed. Cedric and I were equal first place so we were released into the maze at the same time, then Fleur and Victor after us, I can't remember their order. While Krum was on the outskirts, he was ambushed by Professor Moody –who was actually Bartemius Crouch Junior- and placed under the Imperius Curse. Krum then waylaid Fleur, and tried to attack Cedric, obviously under Crouch's bidding. Cedric and I disarmed Krum and hid him in a bush. We were then pretty much the only contenders, so we obviously reached the cup at the same time –sod's fucking law isn't it- and decided that if we both took the cup it would be a Hogwarts victory all the same. We of course didn't realise until it was too late that the cup was a portkey. We got transported to a graveyard in Little Hangleton where Wormtail was waiting for us.
"I'm not going to explain who Wormtail is, other than he's a rat and a fucking coward to boot. He killed Cedric, as soon as we got there, and then appeared, holding this bundle which looked like a baby. He put it on the ground and tied me to a gravestone, then lit the fire under the massive stone cauldron that was also in the cemetery.
"He dropped the 'baby' in the cauldron, and then summoned bone dust from the grave I was tied to, saying 'bone of the father, unknowingly given, you will renew your son!' I was like oooooh shit.
"So then, he gets out this freaking huge knife and slices off his own hand! Yes, you heard me, just cut off his hand and dropped it in the fucking cauldron, I of course by this point was praying for the baby thing to drown.
"After whimpering around for a bit, he walks over to me, and slits my wrist. Its like gee thanks, I always wanted to look like I'm a fucking cutter. When he added my blood, the bubbling of the cauldron stopped, and I really, really wanted the thing to have drowned, but no.
"Voldemort stepped out of the cauldron, seventy odd years old, butt naked in all his ungodly glory, and orders Wormtail to robe him. I of course, was disgusted. Once he was suitably robed, he asked Wormtail for his arm, Wormtail is an utter moron by the way, so Wormtail presented this bleeding stump of an arm and is like 'oh Master, thank you, you're so generous, let me lick your fucking ass' and Voldemort just calmly asked for the other one.
"And so, the Death Eaters were summoned. After what I assume to be the ritual bout of boot licking and brown-nosing, he introduces me as his honoured guest, whom he has personally invited, because he obviously wants to make a enormous show out of killing me, because he has a fucking ego complex after failing to kill a fucking baby. He also touched my face quite a bit, which was a bit weird to be honest.
"So he casts the Cruciatus curse on me a few times, and then gets the brilliantly wondrous idea to have a duel, and is like 'oh we bow to our opponents Harry, it's only polite' so he made me bow, because unsurprisingly, Barty Crouch Jr's version of the Imperius Curse is fucking gnat's piss in comparison to Voldemort's.
"We start to duel, well I'm mainly running around and trying not to get hit with Blasting Hexes and Cutting Curses. He taunted me, saying I wasn't going to be able to hide forever, I was like I don't care, I'm not coming out from behind this gravestone, baldy.
"Eventually, we faced off, he cast Avada Kedavra right as I cast Expelliarmus, and because the cores of our wands came from the same source, they couldn't fight each other, and there was this spell effect called Priori Incantatem, which I think is also called the 'reverse spell effect' or something like that, where our wands were linked, and the ghosts of the last spells he had ever cast came out of his wand. I think they came out in the order of Cedric, a Muggle named Frank Bryce, Bertha Jorkins, my mum, and then my dad. Amusingly, his wand also screamed a little bit, so I have to assume that was because of the Cruciatus Curse. They told me that I had to break the spell, run back to the portkey and fuck off essentially. So they crowded around Voldemort, and it scared him because I think he's frightened of death. The spell broke, and I ran back to the portkey and as instructed, picked up Cedric's body and fucked off.
"I would like to reiterate, that while it may seem like I don't care, I do, it's just so much shit has happened to me that if I didn't make a joke out of it, I'd be a miniature Snape.
"That concludes my question answering, I'm really, really tired."
Draco couldn't do anything more than stare. He had of course heard the abridged version from Voldemort himself, as well as from any Death Eater that risked the wrath of the Dark Lord by speaking of the heinous events, but he never imagined that was what really happened. He had thought that Voldemort was making excuses for his own failings. He believed the Q&A session had really opened people's eyes to the way Harry thought.
Bit of a longer chapter than usual, I was absolutely determined to not have just porn as the entirety of this chapter, I did well, its only about half porn.
