Hello all! I'm back! I'm sure you missed me so much!

Eh? Anyone?

Sigh. Enjoy.

"Next on our list is Family," I say.

However, Pinkie isn't even listening, as she dances in the corner to music. Music coming from headphones that are wired into... something, I suppose, hidden in her hair. I can faintly hear the words to the tune.

We are family

I got all my sisters with me

We are family

*muffle muffle muffle*

"Hey, what's with the muffling?" Pinkie suddenly stops dancing and removes her headphones.

"Censorship. I don't want to get in trouble for using too many song lyrics," I reply. "The site's kinda annoying like that."

"I see!" she says, suddenly leaping in front of my computer screen. Sometimes, I wonder if having Discord around wouldn't be more bearable.

"Oh, I think you'll find out soon," Discord says as he appears and disappears immediately.

"Spoilers," River Song says as she walks by.

"Hey, don't you think we should get back to this story?" Pinkie says, bringing me back to reality. (If you can call ponies, draconeqqi, and women in spacesuits reality.)

"Um, yeah, of course," I say, turning back to my computer. "But what can I write about 'family'? My only idea was about Twilight and Flash Sentry getting married-"

I am suddenly run over by hundreds of bronies wielding large weapons, calling for my head and accusing Flash Sentry of stealing their waifu.

"Well," Pinkie observes, "That was weird. Anyway, readers, if he's not able to write about family, how about I tell you about my family?"

Now, I lived with my family on a rock farm somewhere in Equestria. We never really had much, as, y'know, we just had rocks, but my parents were very wise with their finances, never buying anything frivolous and keeping the extra we had in Mum's old cookie jar.

Every few months, when the rocks had been harvested and if we had enough money, Pa would take the whole Pie family into town, and we would have a special day for fun, and we would get sweets, and-oh, it was just the best!

You see, the reason he did that was that he loved us. He would sacrifice his own time and money to make his family happy. A lot of what makes up a family is what ponies do for each other.

"How was that?" Pinkie asks.

"Nice. A lot better, I think, than what I had in mind. It really captures the theme," I reply. "Thanks, Pinkie."

It's been another long while, but you're still here! Wow.

A bit of explanation why this took so long: bad time management on my part.

But I hope you're all hyped for the Season 5 premiere! Yay!

Bye now! I'll see you all in the next chapter!
