Chapter Two: Slayer History
The next morning everyone found themselves back at the magic box. They saw Giles in a state his clothes were all wrinkled and he was wearing the same thing he was wearing yesterday. "Have you been here all night?" Buffy asked
Giles got up and walked over to the group, "Yes I have, I found some rather alarming news. That girl Serena. I knew I remembered her name from somewhere so I looked through some of the old watcher diaries and found out that she was a slayer." Everyone had different reactions to this.
Although this scared Buffy she kept her calm with only a little bit of her angry showing in her voice, "If a slayer couldn't stop this thing what hope do we have if it escapes its casket. Did you find any more on where the burial ground could be?"
Giles wish he could answer this but he couldn't, "No I didn't find anymore on that. I did find something on this mysterious Sun Goddess." Everyone listen intently as he continued, "Turns out she wasn't exactly a Goddess. That what she appeared like to natives. They thought her a Goddess of the of sun because it is said that she drawn her powers and strength from it."
"Then what was she?" Buffy asked.
Giles answered, "It doesn't say. It does go on to tell what powers this person possessed, she had strength that far exceeded any slayer's, flight, she was also able to move faster than the eye could blink, It is said that fire came out of her eyes, and that contemporary weaponry could neither kill nor maim."
"What else does it say about her?" asked Willow genuinely curious of the strange tale.
To that question Giles had to browse through the watcher diary again until he found something, "Here something there is a passage that tells The Watcher had sent Serena to investigate some strange happens in London. There were stories of something killing off the vampire population in droves and that moved at incredible speeds."
The blonde slayer walked over to Giles and asked, "Does it say anything more?"
Giles looked at the book again and let out a sigh, "There nothing more here on this mystery girl except there seem to be drawing of a silver medallion she is said to have worn. Wait a tick I seen this before" Giles got up and walked over to to a trunk in his office and pulled out a medallion that matched the description of the one in the book. "Many years ago I got a letter in mail with no return address. Inside the letter was the medallion and message that said I would need this one day. Here look at the engravings." A few second after he had handed it to Buffy she fainted and collapsed to the ground. Everyone rushed to and tried to wake her up. She was swiftly rushed to the hospital. With the others unaware of what she was dreaming of.
