Qetesh looked outside her pyramid palace. She'd be leaving soon to travel to her main planet. This planet was one of her outer planets of ten. She had only been visiting for a week, but now needed to go back. She planned to take Hayato with her.
She remember her talk with Hayato when he came back with the Jaffa. The Jaffa cleaned up the mess, and then she began her questions. He told her of what her kind did to his people. He told her of what his world was like. It seemed very similar to the Goa'uld system of constant conflict. He told her of their bodies special energy, and how it rejected a Goa'uld symbiote. He told her that he could hardly use his peoples chakra as it was called. He then demonstrated one of his abilities by walking up the wall.
There were many other things they discussed, and soon she decided he'd make a perfect first prime. He would need a simbiot like the jaffa, but that could be fixed. Hayato would also need to learn the Jaffa ways.
It was the second day of his stay in the palace. After he brought back the Jaffa Qetesh asked many question which he gladly answered. If it would improve his position why wouldn't he, and it's not like his people mattered any more. He didn't know the coordinates to his world, and he held no real loyalty to anyone.
A servant walked into the room he was staying in. The room was nice if a bit too lavish for his taste. The bed was large, and had multiple pillows with purple sheets. There was a few torch lights that illuminated the room.
"Mistress wishes to see you." The servant said while kneeling down.
Getting up from the bed that he had been sitting on Hayato said, "Please lead the way."
Nodding her head the servant stood up, and began walking out of the room. With Hayato following behind her. The door to the room automatically began closing.
After walking through multiple cordoors they finally reached a familiar throne room. Qetesh sat in her throne watching them enter. The room looked the same as how he remembered it with the exception of the Jaffa bodies, and their blood.
Approaching the throne the servant kneeled before her goddess with Hayato following her example.
"You may leave us servant." Qetesh said dismissively.
Bowing her head the servant quickly exited the room.
Hayato was still kneeling before her, but had his head up enough to look at her. "You called for me lady Qetesh." Hayato stated.
Looking down at Hayato Qetesh began speaking, "I have found you to be quite impressive, but you still lack many things. I plan to return to my main planet that I control. You shall come with me. You will join the Jaffa ranks. You'll eat, sleep, and train with them. Once you have gained enough from them you shall be tought by my people about our technology. I will see how far you have come, and decide what to do with you then."
"I understand lady Qetesh. I will not disappoint you." Hayato said.
Smiling Qetesh nodded her head. "If what you tell me is true then I doubt I won't be impressed."
"Come follow me to my ship. We shall leave this world, and you'll begin your training." Qetesh said as she got up from her throne, and began walking away.
Hayato quickly followed after her.
The ship travel was new. Hayato was given a room to stay in for the two day trip. Qetesh had servants visit him, and teach him of the Goa'uld system. From them he learned that Qetesh was just a minor goddess who had one of her Jaffa pick random people on the ship that had held his people captive. Hayato learned that Qetesh worked under another Goa'uld, and that she was a queen of her species.
Two days past pretty quick Hayato thought as he walked to a ring platform. He had learned of it from Qetesh when she first took them to her ship.
Qetesh walked away from the rings. Hayato quickly followed her as she navigated the halls. They eventually arrived in another throne room except this room was larger, and more decorated. There was hieroglyphics along the walls. Pictures of people dining in groups, and of large battles. Off to one side the wall was cut out giving a view of the world outside the palace. There were buildings for miles. Most not being higher than two stories. The area outside the city looked to be forest. Past the forest one could make out large mountains.
Sitting down Qetesh began speaking, "I will send you to spend time with the Jaffa you will spend half a year with them. Then if you're still alive I will have you trained in technology of the gods." Qetesh then motioned to a servant near the door to leave, and get the Jaffa outside.
Hayato remained quite. There was nothing for him to say.
Soon a Jaffa walked into the room, and kneeled down before Qetesh. "You sent for me lady Qetesh.
"Yes the man next to you will be joining the young Jaffa at the training camp for three months, and if he proves himself in that time he will be moved to the advanced training camp for warriors who wish to improve their skills more." Qetesh said this while motion toward Hayato.
"As you wish lady Qetesh." The Jaffa said.
Hayato then saw Qetesh motion with her hand toward the exit. Following the order the Jaffa left with Hayato following close behind. Hayato followed in silence for a little while after leaving the throne room, but decided to break it.
"Where is this Jaffa camp located?" Hayato asked.
Looking over at the man who was following him the Jaffa spoke, "Lady Qetesh has the young Jaffa training in the forest away from the city. She believes that when we start training we should not have contact with are family. For if we train harder we get the chance to see them sooner. It motivates us."
Hayato nodded his head in silent agreement, and decided to remain quiet for the rest of the trip. They soon exited the palace, and started walking through the city. The building were mostly made from grey rock. Roofs looked to be made from wood with straw spread over the top. Doors were also made form a dark looking wood. Along the streets they walked through Hayato could see vendors selling food, and other products.
It took roughly two hours of walking to reach the edge of the city. All that time he had felt the stares of people. He guessed it wasn't often that one saw a man who looked to be in slave clothes with a Jaffa walking from the palace.
They soon entered the forest. They followed a dirt path for another thirty minutes until they reached a large river. On the opposite side he could see a camp with young looking Jaffa running, jumping, and doing mock combat.
The Jaffa walked over to a Wood bridge that he hadn't seen. Crossing it they intered the camp. As they walked they passed by Jaffa, tents, and more Jaffa. As they walked by they collect many stares, and Jaffa would also stop what they were doing to see what was going on. Finally they reached a large white tent.
The flap was open so the Jaffa just walked in. Hayato following him in. Standing behind a large table with a few pieces of paper was a tall dark skinned Jaffa. On his head was the symbol of Qetesh a crescent moon and disk.
The Jaffa guide stepped forward to speak, "Tranit I come bring word from our goddess."
The now names Jaffa Tranit looked up, and saw the Jaffa that spoke along with Hayato. "What does she wish to be done." Asked Tranit.
"She ask that this man begin Jaffa training. She expects a report every two weeks." The Jaffa said.
"Very well if that is what lady Qetesh ask of us then this man show be trained by us. Now tell me your name, and then we can get you sorted. You'll need a place to sleep, and a training schedule." Tranit stated
"My name is Hayato."
"Very well let's see where we can put you." Tranit said. He then looked at the Jaffa that Hayato had followed. "You can leave now, and report to lady Qetesh that he'll be taken care of."
The Jaffa nodded his head, and left.
Hayato looked toward Tranit, and had a feeling that he'd enjoy his time here. Tranit had the regular armor that Jaffa wore, and by the look of him he was an experienced warrior.
"Well you ready to experience hell." Asked Tranit while smirking thinking that he would scare the man a little.
Hayato smirked at the Jaffa Tranit. "I think you'll find that hell welcomes people like me."
"Very well then let's see what you can do." Tranit said while walking out of the tent. Hayato followed him.
