Katie: Oh no you don't! We shall capture you!
Travis: *tortures me* Tell them all the truth!
Me: FINE! FINE! I DON'T OWN PJO OR HOO!
About: Travis hates vacuuming. But on cleaning day, that's the job he's stuck with! What's Katie go to do to get him to clean the house?
Time: After Giant War. Travis and Katie live together.
Here you go!
Travis' POV:
"Get to it, Travis!" Katie yelled.
I groaned, squashing my face into the couch.
I hated vacuuming. The sound was so loud, and it hurt my ears. The heat from the vacuum also made me feel weird.
Unfortunately, cleaning day had rolled around, and Katie was bugging me to vacuum the apartment.
"Come on! Travis, get over here!" Katie slapped me upside the head as she passed me, waving the feather duster in my face.
I groaned again, turning away.
"But I don't want to!" I complained. Katie fixed me with a dark glare.
"Get going!" she yelled.
I dragged myself into a sitting position. Why didI have to be the one stuck with this job? I pulled my feet along the floor, groaning and moaning all the while.
"What do I get for it?" I questioned, leaning my head on Katie's shoulder. Katie sighed, stopping her dusting for a few seconds.
"Seriously, Travis?" she questioned. "You get the house clean; that's what you get!"
I pouted. "But I don't want to!" I groaned.
"Too bad!" Katie snapped. "No kisses for a week, Travis!"
I gaped at her.
"No way!"
"Yes!"
"How can you be so cruel?"
"Well, will you do it?" she asked, smirking.
I thought about it for a while, then decided it was worth risking. She wouldn't be able to a stand a day without me, much less a week.
Katie saw the look on my face and sighed. Pushing me down onto the sofa, Katie curled up next to me, stretching a leg over my lap.
"Oh, come on," she murmured in my ear. "You know you can't live without me."
I laughed slightly, enjoying the performance folding out in front of me. I knew I shouldn't have shown how entertaining I found this, but a laugh bubbled up inside me and Katie huffed, getting up and storming off.
"W-wait! Hold on, Katie!" I reached out my hand, grabbing her wrist. "You're right anyway. I can't live without you. I just can't vacuum either!"
"You just mean that you won't!" she retorted, placing her hands on her hips, but not turning back.
"No, I don't. I honestly can't vacuum! I live to be messy! Son of Hermes here!" I protested.
Katie shook er head sharply. "Liar! You're just lazy! And if you're so into being messy, go to another house! Bother Connor or someone!"
I gasped, placing my hand over my chest. "How could you ever accuse me of something like that! I'm not a liar!"
Katie just glared at me.
I gestured at myself with an innocent look on my face. "Completely outrageous! How am I lazy?"
For that, I had to dodge a flying feather-duster. It's amazing how inanimate objects are able to fly when Katie gets mad!
"You little- Get out!" she yelled in rage.
I scrambled to my feet, not wanting to face her mounting rage. She could basically destroy the house if she got too mad.
"Okay, okay! Just calm down!" I headed for the door and Katie groaned.
"I know what you're trying to do! You're vacuuming the house, then you can take your break!" she cried.
I moaned, dragging my hands down my face. How did she always know?
Katie smirked. "Get going, Travis."
I turned back and opened my mouth, but Katie cut me off with a sigh of frustration.
"Why are you so damn annoying?" she cried. "Fine. You don't need to vacuum."
I perked up, partly surprised, but mostly just glad the torture was finally over.
"But you have to clean the bathrooms instead!"
"What? No! Katie!"
The end!
That took a really long time, I know. I'm in Bangladesh right now, and I've been without wifi for the longest time, so I couldn't update.
Sorry, guys. Anyway, I was actually planning to do somwthing else for V, but thanks to a friend on ;Shangratiger101, they gave me this idea.
