Chapter Five

The Explanation (Part Two)

I am sooooo sorry that I haven't updated in forever. School's been going on and I've moved like 3 times in last 5 months. Here is the long and awaited Chapter Five of Temptation. Thanks to everyone who read this story so far and I hope you all like this long awaited chapter.

Harry continued, "In our fourth year, I was chosen as one of Triwizard champions. It was a competition between three schools. There was only supposed to be one from each school but someone had put my name and made it where I had to enter, no matter what. I entered and the first task was about Dragons. The had to face against a Hungarian Horntail while the three other champions, Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour, and Viktor Krum, had to pick different dragons by random. I barely got by the dragon but I managed to grab ahold of the golden egg. The Yule Ball was coming up and I needed to ask someone. I was gonna ask Cho Chang but Cedric got to her first so I went with Padma Patil (?). You went with Viktor Krum and Ron with Parvati Patil (?). It was a fun night but at the end, you were crying because poor Ronald was being a douche." He glared at Ron.

"Anyways, the second task was coming up and I still hadn't deciphered the egg yet so I got a hint from Cedric Diggory to hear it underwater and it told a tale about we only had an hour to collect what was missing or else it would be gone forever. You, Gabrielle Delacour, Cho Chang, and Ron was underwater with a spell on you all, prevented you all to die by drowning. I rescued Ron and Gabrielle because Fleur got taken out by some sea creatures. Cedric got Cho and Viktor got you. I was in second place, right behind Viktor Krum. In the final task, Viktor got cursed, Fleur swallowed by bush creatures and sent back to Hogwarts, and Cedric and I were sent by a portkey to a graveyard. The portkey was the cup. Cedric was killed immediately and I had blood forcibly taken from me to remake Voldemort. I watched Voldemort come back to life and him and I battled. From his wand, I got to see my parents for the first and not the last time. He killed them I was a child. But they told me they would hold him and for me to run. So I did. And I grabbed the cup and Cedric's body and brought us both back to Hogwarts." He finished with barely any breathe left.

"Fifth year was practically normal, except the part where I found out about the order, I battle a dementor, I got to trial for it, and I have reoccuring nightmares about Voldemort's doings. I see what he does and it feels like I'm doing it. When I save , Ron's father from death, Professor Dumbledore has me study legamancy (?) with Severus Snape, the bad-guy-turned-spy. We had to deal with an obsessive control freak and I have scars where she tried to control me and my thoughts."

"I thought my godfather, Sirius Black, was being tortured so I tried my damn hardest to get to him. I eventually rode on a threhedral (?), which you can only see if you've seen death. Ron, Neville, Luna, Ginny, You, and I rode all the way to the ministry of magic and fought off several death eaters to get to a propechy about me and Voldemort. Sirius wasn't being tortured. We were being lured. And Sirius got killed in the end trying to save me. You were cursed in the chest. Ron almost died. Neville got a broken nose. Ginny had cuts everywhere. I got possessed by Voldemort before the minister showed up and Dumbledore fought Voldemort." He stopped and got a drink of water and Hermione thought he was gonna past out from the lack of color in his face.

"Okay. Our Sixth year. I was keeping an eye on Draco Malfoy, this git right here, because I thought he was a death eater by choice. I got ahold of a potions book that provided spells and new ways, better ways, to make potions and used on on Draco and he almost bled to death. The book was made by the Half Blood Prince. The Half Blood Prince was Severus Snape. Draco Malfoy had one mission and that mission was to kill Dumbledore. He sent a cursed necklace for him but only cursed a student instead. He instead, remade the vanishing cabinets, got it connected through the other one in Hogsmeade, and let death eaters into castle. He didn't kill Dumbledore but rather, Severus Snape did." Harry concluded their sixth year.

"Last year, seventh year. We didn't go to Hogwarts. Voldemort had taken over the castle and his supporters were working the roles of professors jobs. McGonagall was still working their though, forced probably. We were hunting horcruxes, which was an item or person that someone had put a piece of their soul into. It was to be easily hidden and concealed. We found all of them. There were seven. The Slytherin Locket, the Hufflepuff Cup, the Ravenclaw Diadem, Nagini (Voldemort's snake), Tom Riddle's Diary, and Tom Marvolo Riddle father's ring. Plus, me. He cast a part of himself into me the night he killed my parents and tried to kill me."

"In the process of finding horcruxes, Ron left us but came back. I almost died because I tried to get the Gryffindor sword at the bottom of a lake, which was the way to get rid of horcruxes. You were tortured severely by Bellatrix Lestrange. She cut the word 'Mudblood' in your left arm. We lost so many friends. Remus Lupin, the good werewolf, Tonks, the Brave Hufflepuff, Severus Snape, who was on our side the whole time, Alastor Moody, Ted Tonks, Dobby, Fred Weasley, Colin Creevey...It was a difficult time." Harry took a breathe and looked at her.

"Well, that was our seven years at Hogwarts."He gave her a forced smile. That was the last thing she saw before she fainted into the arms of Draco Malfoy, her mind in shock of everything that had happened in the her years at Hogwarts.

When she awoke, she back in her room with her potions down beside her. She took them all and saw Draco pushing her and calling her a mudblood, Harry joking with her, Viktor Krum asking her out, Harry comforting her as she cried over Ron, battling Death Eaters, kissing Harry for the first time...Wait, kissing. Kissing Harry for the first time. Did they date before? She shook her head and decided to ask about it later. She walked down stairs and saw Harry and Draco at the table, discussing something quietly. She cleared her throat and they looked quickly up at her. Harry rushed to her.

"Are you alright? Why you pass out for? I almost had a heart attack!" He asks her and screams at the same time in that worried, concerned voice. She giggled and gave him a hug, for he stood in shock and then gave her a huge hug back.

"I passed out because I was in shock and I am just okay! I'm sorry for giving you a heart attack. I'll be sure not to next time." She teased and he growled at her and tried to swat at her head but she ducked and ran to the refrigerator to get something to drink.

Soda, Soda, Soda, Tea, More Soda, AHA! Carbonated Water. Mhmm. Yum.

She grabbed it and opened the can immediately and chugged half of it. The boys were looking at her weirdly.

"What? I was thirsty." Hermione said sheepishly.

Harry chuckled and threw his arm around her shoulder. "Oh, yeah. Potions have side effects now don't they?" They laughed into the silence of the night and just enjoyed the rest of the night right there in the kitchen, reminiscing about the old times, even though she couldn't remember most of it. It felt like she was at home and she decided she liked this feeling and she hoped it stayed like this.
