Sorry I haven't updated. I've been feeling down lately and I've had a little bit of a hard time.
I'm going to try to make this chapter a bit longer for being absent for a longer time. I'm going to say that don't expect an early update. I'm a sophomore in High School and I'm taking all Accelerated/Honors Classes and in three or four of my classes, I have homework every night and I'm taking French also! So maybe every two weeks or so, I'll try and update. I'm sorry for being absent for so long but here is Chapter Sixteen!

Review:
Well done! I particularly like the back story on the ring and necklace which Hermione found at the cottage in Godric's Hollow and the job interview for Draco. You know you must have done a good job of rehabilitating Draco in this story if I came away from that trusting Draco. Is there a reason Harry used the gold from the DA medallions to thicken the silver band of what I'm assuming is going to be an engagement ring for Hermione? Is it because of the Protean charm or the sentimental value. I would thing that the gold from one galleon would make about six or seven rings for a lady. Will he do anything with the rest of the gold? If not, the jeweler made out like a bandit. I didn't exactly trust the jeweler by the way he was acting, especially about replacing the diamonds. Astoria is going to be good for Ron, even if it doesn't go the distance. He needs to be interested in a real relationship with a real woman. It's also nice to see that other Slytherins have grown from under the shadow of the Death Eater cloud they had all been cast in for so many years. It would be great for Harry and Hermione to get the full rundown on what they have inherited as Lord and Lady Potter (Gryffindor) and perhaps tour the properties for the house where they want to raise their kids. I have some more ideas but I'll get back to you by PM. Not much. Just a few thoughts. It's YOUR story. Have fun and thank you!
Reply: Now, this is why you're my favorite reviewer and reader. You give me so many great ideas and I just wanna thank you! I read your PM you sent me and my god! You are amazing. Your brain is amazing. I will talk all this ideas and think about them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Review: Lovely chapter. Giving the box to HIM on HIS birthday is the perfect time. SHE is brilliant, as always. I wonder why Miss Rowling has never see how perfect THEY are together, pity.
Reply: I know. And thank you!
From: You said Ginny slipped HIM the potion for HIM to have sex with HER. What about the part followed?
"For three months and Ginny is not the only one" What is the meaning by that?
In my opinion HE hurts HER too much. Could you please explain? I still don't get why you never have HIM do something to redeem. Although I like the latest chapter.
Reply: Okay, I said the potion was the semi love/obedient potion. Which means you follow whatever the person who gave you the potion around and you do as you're told. So she told him to have sex with other ladies. Because she was jealous of Harry and Hermione's Love. How has HE hurt HER so much intentionally? Because all of this was caused through Ginny. I don't see how HE had control over the potion when Ginny gave HIM it to ruin HIS and HERMIONE'S relationship. Though thank you, I worked hard on that last chapter.

Review: YOU TOOK MY IDEA! YAY!
I love the galleon-ring band from D.A. . It shows that not only did he keep them after all these years, but that they were important to him because Hermione made them. And BRILLIANTLY done on the lavender defense. That's a fun way to make two characters start dating haha.
UPDATE SOON!
Oh, and for some reason, I didnt get a notification of the previous update, so i went and read the previous chapter. If anyone else is lost a bit, that's all.
Reply: HAHA Thank you! I really liked the idea so, yeah, I took the idea :3 Sorry for the long wait.

You know, I think you should edit some part. When you separate each POV, sometimes you use 'I' but sometimes it's 'he or she'. No intention to find fault, it's just I tend to read the story I'm interested in at least twice.
Reply: I know. I'm gonna finish this story then go back and fix them or get a betareader to help me.

Review: Confusing start. I hope on the way we learn why Harry & Co think they have the right to kidnap Hermione. She had every right to dump Harry after he cheated on her and stalking, kidnaping etc. is a crime.
Reply: I hope you read further into the story xD
From: Brian1972
Review: I get the memory loss idea. I also get the idea how you constructed the breakup being basically Ginny's fault.
BUT
1) What Ginny did is a crime. She mindcontroled and r*** Harry. No time in prision at all?
2) The really confusing chase at the start of the story is not explained. From what we know now Harry seems to be an obsessive stalker who shanghaied his friends into kidnapping Hermione and thus is also responsible for her flight and memory loss. That is not an indicator for a healthy relationship on the horizon.
Reply: Well, obviously, no one told on her. They were in school and she wasn't discovered so nothing happened. Her family didn't report a crime, and neither did anyone else. The chase was explained. Harry is in love with Hermione. He wanted her back. They know what happened since his friends watched his memories and believed him. Hermione decided to go out at night instead of listening. And memory loss thing...That's the werewolves fault isn't it?

Review: Well the explenation could have been writen much shorter. Since the reader knows the canon a simple reference should have been suficient. After your comment I was expecting an explenation for the gangs behaviour torwards Hermione direct before she lost her memory.
Reply: I'm gonna sound like a bitch right now, but dude, do you think? It's literally written in black and white. HE loves HER. HE would do anything to get HER back. HE did nothing wrong. Ginny poisoned him and ruined the relationship. Tell me, if your lover thought you have cheated on them but you hadn't, and they ran away, would you just let them go, if you truly love them? Honestly, would you?
On with the story now!
Chapter Sixteen
The Big Day
It was now mid August, a good three weeks after Harry's birthday. And it was getting close to when he was going to pop the question. He had gotten the ring just two weeks ago and kept it hidden in the bottom of the first drawer of the dresser he had.
Hermione was suspicious, he knew that. But it was a great secret.
So he while he was waiting for the day to come around, he planned where it was gonna happen at. Just last week, he had found a little creek away from the house they lived in, and it was beautiful. There was a meadow of different flowers in the distance. Sunflowers, daises, roses, tulips, etc. And they were in all different colors and were so bright.
The creek ran down in a series of steps. It began up higher than others and then ever so often, the ground under the water would began to steep lower and lower, so it looked like a staircase with water flowing gently down it.
It was green every where. The trees were covered some in moss and the leaves were green, yellow, orange, and some were red. None were brown which was exactly what he wanted.
It was the perfect spot, it was a spot that he knew Hermione would absolutely love.
Now, all he had to figure out was how to pop the question and how to get Hermione down there.
Then a smile came to his face.
Oh yes.
He was going to make this perfect for Hermione.
Draco was sorting through some papers on his desk, even though the school year hadn't started he had already made test dates and assignments, the whole deal. He was shuffling them in order when a loud, but soft knock sounded on his door.
He sat the papers down and walked, well, strutted over to the door. He pulled it open and was surprised when Minerva McGonagall was standing there in her green and grey robes.
"Draco." She nodded in greeting and he did the same to her.
"Minerva. Do you need something?" He asked politely.
"I just wanted to inform you that our recent Slytherin Head of House had been removed from that position since he was deemed unprofessional for that job, so I need someone to replace him."
"Who are you thinking about replacing him with?" He asked, intrigued.
"You." She said. One simple word had his mind reeling.
"Me?"
"Yes. You. Your godfather was your head of house, you know what being the head house includes, and I trust you can do this."
"But won't others be judgmental towards me? And towards you for picking me to be Slytherin's Head of House?"
"Draco, you've got to learn that those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. You've got the job Draco, you better be prepared September 1st." And with that, Minerva McGonagall walked back through the way she came in, and left a stunned Draco Malfoy behind.
Ever since that encounter with Lavender a few weeks back, Ron and Astoria had been hanging out more and more. Every time they hung out, at the end Astoria would kiss Ron's cheek and walk away, swinging her hips a little and leaving Ron dazed. But Ron has also done the same thing and would kiss her cheek but would strut off, leaving her to stare at his back.
Now, as they headed to muggle place called Giovanni's, she had grabbed his hand and blushed. Ron stared at her for a split second before grasping her hand back, tightly.
They walked in and were immediately sat in a booth.
"So, what exactly is this place anyway?"
"This is an Italian restaurant. They make pizza, spaghetti, any kind of pasta, salad, any desert, etc. Mainly anything you would find in Italy." He told her, gently. She nodded and smiled at him before scanning her eyes over the menu.
"Hello!" They both jumped when a cheerful voice came out of nowhere. A bubbly brunette stood in front of them, but she was wearing clothing that actually fit. Her top was tight but at the same time, loose and high collared. She was wearing black skinny jeans with the occasional rip here and there and combat boots. Her brown hair was swept to mainly the right side and she had bangles on her left arm. She held a notebook with one hand and pen was behind her ear.
"What can I get you folks today?" Her voice rang with a slight southern accent, and her brown eyes smiled with mostly real cheerfulness.
"Can I get a 8'' four cheese pizza, with the cheese melted together, with a side of salad. Buttermilk Ranch dressing please." Astoria ordered politely. Ron already knew that even though this woman was skinny, she ate like him.
"Could I get a 9'' Mushroom, Sausage Mozzarella Pizza, with a side of Ravioili." He said.
"Of course!" She said brightly. "What would y'all like to drink?"
"Could I get a carbonated water?" Astoria asked.
"Yes. What flavor?"
"Lemon-Lime please."
"And you sir?" She said.
"A bottle of Apple Cider please."
"We'll be bring you folks your orders soon!"
And with that, the waitress walked off and they settled into the peaceful environment, talking softly. Their food and drinks were delivered and they ate slowly, enjoying the quiet, since they rarely had it growing up.
After dinner and them quietly debating on who was going to pay the bill, which Ron ended up paying, they walked to the beach nearby and stood on the pier.
Ron watched Astoria. Her brown hair was flowing gently behind her and her blue-grey eyes sparkled with happiness. And finally, he worked up his nerve.
"Astoria?" He asked quietly.
"Yes, Ron?"
"Well, over this past month I've come to d-develop some feeling for you and I can't keep them inside anymore and you just make me feel so much and I was just wondering if you, maybe, wanted to go out with me officially?" Ron said nervously, his right hand coming up to rub the back of his neck.
Astoria stared at him, shocked, because she had been thinking the same thing.
But Ron took her face in the wrong way.
"Oh god. Just forget I ever asked. We can forget this ever happened and-Mmph!" He was cut off by a pair of lips attaching to his. His hand came up to grasp the feminine face and he smiled a bit and pulled her body closer to his.
They parted after a minute and she stared into his eyes.
"Shut up." She said and smirked before they both leaned back into to steal a second, a third, and many more kisses that night.
Ginny huffed and walked into her brother's shop. She brought her hands to her head and tried to wring some water out her hair. She had forget an umbrella at home and didn't wanna apparate so she had to walk to this shop in the pouring rain from Luna's house.
"Ugh!" She groaned as her clothes stuck to her body and made it hard to move.
"Ginny!" Her brother said as he saw her dark red hair...Wait...Dark?
He looked at his sister who was drenched from head to toe.
He chuckled and shook his head.
"You do know that you're a legal witch right? Who can do a simple drying spell?" He said, smirking at her.
She wanted to smack herself right then and there but just waved her wand and dried her clothes and body first then her hair and styled it at the same time.
"So what are you doing here, Ginny?" He asked as he put an arm around her and steered her towards the back. Luckily today was his day off.
"Well, I was just wondering if you maybe had any jobs available at the moment? I need a job and I've been unemployed for a while and-!"
George's hand covered his sister's mouth with his hand.
"Say no more little sister but be aware, I will treat as any other employee if you work here. Just because you're family, I will not put you above others at work. If you slack off, I will have to dock pay and if it gets bad enough, I will fire you." Even though he had threatened her practically, she hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" She squealed.
He chuckled and hugged her back before telling her to pick up the bears in the corner and to move them onto the empty shelf to the right as she left the back.
"But be aware! Don't squeeze them tightly or-!" Too late. She had gripped one tightly around the stomach with her hand and ink squeezed out and it went all over her face, clothing, and hair. She gasped loudly and looked at George as ink dripped off her face and glared.
He put his hands up and backed away before yelling to her.
"Remember, you're a witch!"
That day, Hermione had put on one of her lovely dresses. It was an Audrey Hepburn dresses. It was teal green, with purple butterfly's on it. He was sleeveless and came down above her knees. She wore her black converses with it. She put on simple feather earrings, angel wings necklace, and her charm bracelet with charms on it. Her hair was curled loosely and a purple bow was in her hair. It was small but completed the look. (Look at profile for link!)
"Why are we walking through the forest again?" She asked Luna and Ginny.
"You need to relieve some stress and want better way than walking through a quiet and beautiful forest?"
Hermione shrugged but didn't argue. She knew better than to argue. They had literally tied her up this morning to put this outfit on her.
It took another ten minutes but they arrived at the creek and meadow. And Hermione was dumbfounded. It was beautiful. She was already in love with it.
She jumped over the creek, it was small in width, and walked to the meadow and saw there was an empty part of it in the middle. She walked throught the flowers and got to middle and tears came to her eyes.
In the middle was different petals from all kinds of flowers, and in all different colors. They wrote out the sentence, 'I love you. Marry Me? - Harry' Her hand came up and covered her mouth as a tear came out.
"Hermione..." She turned around fast and saw Harry kneeling on the ground about five feet away from her, with a jewelry box open. She walked forward a bit and looked at the ring. The ring band was gold, bright gold. The middle diamond was a clear cut diamond and the diamonds on either side were ruby red.
She sobbed and nodded her head over and over while a 'yes' slipped through her lips every now and then. He gripped her left hand and slid the ring onto her fourth finger and kissed her hand before turning her hand over and showing her what was wrote on the back of the band.
Forever.
They embraced and he kissed her neck and lifted her into the air. She felt her shoulder a bit wet and realized that Harry was getting teary also.
When her feet were back on the ground, she gripped his head and pulled his lips to hers and kissed him lovingly as cheers erupted around them.
Forever.
