Hello All,
Just to let you know that Speedox12 has been sent the first chapter of the squeal to beta read and it will soon be posted up.
" To Fix What Has Been Broken Again" - You would think with the animatronics all fixed and having a new pizzeria, things would be going well for Mike. Sadly that is not the case, with the purple man released, jealous animatronics and Toy Chica (Chi) is still missing. Mike maybe in over his head but at least the animatronics aren't out to kill him this time...right?
Thank you for all your reviews and private messages. I'm going to take this moment to answer a few questions that have been asked of me.
1) What does Springtrap sound like?
Sorry, I thought I had put it in, if you have played Five nights at Fuck boys 3, he sounds like the Springtrap in that.
2) Who is Ed?
Ed is the chief cook at the pizzeria and is the manager's David best friend. He comes across as disliking the animatronics and warns Mike about their possessive behaviour in chapter 8.
3) This is a review by the kid. "Uhm, not to say it isn't a well established lore by the man Cawthon himself that the animatronics are haunted, but you've given no indication that this is a possibility in your story. It's a reverse Chekov's gun. You need to have some sort of foreshadowing in either dialogue or actions taken by the animatronics that make the possession of them by human spirits a possibility. Also, this is way too much to drop on readers at the last second. Not that I don't like plot, this is just too much plot. Especially in an epilogue. First you have the hinted creation of a "Shadow" perhaps referencing the Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddie seen in the second and third games. Next, the Critter Country shenanigans. Then there's the purple man being released from prison (I honestly had no idea he'd be part of this story). He seriously shouldn't be, due to a lack of focus on the kids murders in the earlier locales and no mention of the facial recognition software. Finally the last two bombshells of Toy Chica's fate and the haunting of Springtrap. Toy Chica's fate was a necessary item to stick in the end, since she's one of the few items here referenced throughout the story in dialogue. Critter Country shouldn't even care at this point, and their role has already been filled by evil health inspector and Mike's mom"
Thank you mainly Kid for your review and I'm honoured that you think highly of it. Ok first things first, in the very first chapter in my notes I have clearly put that the animatronics are not haunted in this story. I have later explained why, because the purple man killed them in the supply room and placed them in the spare suits there.
Now about the plot or at least the last chapter, I agree it was a lot to take in, but the whole story was building up to it and most readers so it coming, but I felt it needed to be written this way, so I could continue it in the squeal. The purple man is the villain of the game series and while he was not the main focus of the first story (He was in prison) does not mean I should not mention him at all. He still killed five children that lead to the pizzeria being closed down and to Goldie being forced to retire. And just because I have not mentioned the software doesn't mean its not there, but to make a point the animatronics in this fic are alive, so their can recognise him when they see him. Finally Critter Country, their involvement is going to play a large part in testing Mike. Critter Country is or was Mike's dream job and Yin Sid is in a way his hero, so when the man does appear to Mike about the job its going to test Mike's loyalty to the animatronics and the pizzeria.
Well...that is all. I hope to see you all in the next story and thanks again for reading and reviewing.
Yours
End of Grace.
