Soundwave was right about training with Lord Megatron.
Already two orns had passed and her protoform was so tired it felt like it was falling apart. However, Megatron continued to push her limits and in return, she did anything he asked of her, which wasn't all that much.
However, Saberstorm was going stir-crazy. She felt caged, paranoid and the desperation to fly clawed insistently at her spark.
"Not paying attention will get you killed!" Megatron roared, brutally swinging his sword at her. Saberstorm ducked, wings fluttering as she spun her foot in a wide arc beneath the Decepticon leader's pedes.
She naturally excelled in hand-to-hand combat, and often used this to her advantage.
Her pedes clanged against Megatron's ankle-strut and the femme pouted as the gladiator didn't even move.
Megatron's sword whistled through the air and Saberstorm leapt away from him, backing herself into the corner in the process. Megatron scowled, leveling the sword with her vocal processors. Disappointment washed over Saberstorm and her ever-present urges to fly nearly made her double-over.
"What is wrong with you, femme?" Megatron growled, towering over her.
The doors to the training room swung open and Starscream sauntered in, his optics ghosting over his leader and his creation. However, panic surged through his spark when he saw the femme.
Her dark navy wings were fluttering a mile-a-klik and her entire frame was hunched in on itself. Her clawed servos were curled at her chassis and her crimson optics had dimmed exponentially.
Starscream recognized the problem immediately. "Permission to take my Trine and Saberstorm to the surface, my liege."
Megatron's optics swung to look at his second-in-command. Understanding suddenly glimmered in his optics and he nodded stiffly.
"Seekers." He scoffed, sheathing his blade in subspace before stomping out the door. Starscream rushed over to the femme, half-carrying her out of the training room. While he pulled her along, Starscream sent a message to his Trine mates.
As he neared the door that led outside, Thundercracker and Skywarp appeared. The blue mech took Saberstorm's other half and carrying her became twice as easy.
Unfortunately, Starscream knew that Saberstorm did not have an alt-mode, and flying without one was a bit difficult on Earth. Both his Trine mates were equally as tall as he was, and they shared the same alt-mode.
Fortunately, in the process of choosing their alt-modes, the Trine had captured and scrapped several military fighter jets and had left them hidden in one of their underground hangers.
Starscream led the group into that hanger.
Saberstorm's optics glazed over and her optics landed on a half-demolished Sukhoi Su-27. Immediately, a beam of bright red light washed over the demolished fighter jet and the weight on Starscream and Thundercracker vanished, following the noise of a transformation.
The jet Saberstorm had chosen was smaller than their F-22 alt modes. Her length was only twenty-two meters across and her wing span only fourteen point seven. Compared to them, she was tiny.
The femme wiggled the flaps on her wings before transforming back to her bi-pedal mode, rolling her shoulders and twisting her chassis to get used to the new kibble.
"Let's go." Starscream beckoned the femme after him. The tattooed mech led the group to the arid savannah above them, and almost immediately the three mechs transformed and launched themselves into the air.
Saberstorm watched in awe from the ground as the Trine pulled several synchronized tricks.
::Come join us, Stormy! :: -Skywarp
::…I don't know how.:: -Saberstorm
The three jets in the air flew lazy circles a moment, before Starscream and Thundercracker transformed, hovering in the air. Each mech sank towards the femme before seizing an arm each and lifting her into the air. Their boosters strained against the extra weight, but they lifted her higher.
Her wings wiggled, and then the two mechs let go.
Saberstorm shrieked as she fell, profanities spewing from her mouth as she tumbled towards the ground. However, the femme ended up transforming fourteen feet from the ground and blasting herself back into the air.
Both Starscream and Thundercracker transformed again, flanking her sides, while Skywarp positioned himself beneath their smaller counterpart.
Laughing wildly, Saberstorm blasted higher, leaving the mechs behind before she transformed again and giggled while she fell before transforming as she glided past them. She flew a loop around Skywarp, teasing the more experienced mech before she zipped forward and corkscrewed several feet.
Skywarp increased his speed and twirled around her, before flying past with a teasing burst of vapor in her face.
Starscream and Thundercracker shared a sigh, watching as the Seeker femme rushed forward, chasing after their younger brother.
The pair of racing Seekers dipped and looped and generally made fools of themselves, but with Skywarp, this was almost a given every time they went for a fly.
Starscream could barely remember his first flight, and Skywarp he didn't expect to. But the sweeping wave of nostalgia from Thundercracker made the Decepticon Commander wonder if maybe he should remember his first flight. It marked such an important occasion in a Seeker's life that he should, as Seeker flew everywhere they could go if they could help it.
Skywarp transformed, bringing Starscream out of his far too sentimental thought process. Saberstorm, who was right behind the black and purple mech, swooped beneath the mech and Skywarp dropped onto her wings.
::Hey! Gettoff!:: -Saberstorm
::Make me, Stormy!:: -Skywarp
::Skywarp, she won't be able to hold you up:: -Thundercracker
Starscream watched as the femme's faltering boosters suddenly roared to life and pushed her forward though the air.
::Frag you, Thundercracker! Just cause I'm a femme doesn't mean I'm weak!:: -Saberstorm
::Bet you can't make me get off you!:: -Skywarp
In answer to Skywarp's challenging comm message, Saberstorm veered the nose of her alt-mode up and strained her boosters past the cloud line. Skywarp wrapped his servos around the edges of her wings, and Starscream felt the guilt that rushed through his youngest Trinemate's spark as he pulled upward on them.
Starscream and Thundercracker both winced, and then watched in amazement as instead of faltering, Saberstorm seemed to simply go higher. Skywarp pulled back on her wings harder and Saberstorm's engines suddenly turned off and the pair of Seekers went tumbling ground-ward.
Confusion laced Skywarp's side of the bond as they dropped towards the ground and Saberstorm felt more than saw the mech ease up on his grip on her sensitive wings. She managed to flip herself over, pointing her nose at the ground and then she reversed her engines to propel herself skyward.
Skywarp tumbled towards the ground, and it suddenly hit Starscream as to what his brother was doing.
He was training the femme, against Jet Judo.
::I did it. What's my prize?:: -Saberstorm
She transformed mid-air, looking pleased with herself as she lowered towards where the entrance was.
::Come-:: Skywarp began, only to be interrupted by Megatron, who had appeared in the entrance. Saberstorm's playful demeanor suddenly vanished.
She landed carefully in front of the taller mech and bowed slightly, more than Starscream would but less than his Trinemates.
"I apologize, Lord Megatron." She immediately fixed her optics on Megatron's insignia. "I should have returned sooner."
"Inside." Megatron rumbled, narrowing his optics. "Our training is not complete."
Wings dropping, Saberstorm strode past Megatron into the darkness of their base and the Seekers watched as he followed after her.
Almost immediately, Saberstorm paused and waited for Megatron to pass her, and lead the way to their training room. She followed him and passed through the door…
And then ducked because there was a sword flying her way.
Saberstorm's pedes clicked against the cold rock of the Decepticon base as she followed after Soundwave quietly, her crimson optics flickering over the walls. Her taller brother had his servos folded behind his back, and the wheels of his new alt-mode turning slowly on his shoulders.
Something clattered behind the pair, and both the Decepticons turned their helms with narrowed optics to observe the drone that had dropped a crate of empty Energon cubes. He shrank under their identical gaze, hurrying to pick up his mess.
The drone scooped up the crate and bowed, spluttering apologies. Both Soundwave and Saberstorm left him simpering in the hall, continuing towards Megatron's throne room.
The roughly hewn double-doors were gone, and in their place were a pair of shiny metal doors with the Decepticon insignia carved into them. They were automatic and hissed open as the siblings approached.
Megatron was waiting in his throne with Starscream on his left, and the rest of the Trine out of the way on the left. Soundwave stopped before their leader, bowing his head and Saberstorm offered a bow before striding over to Megatron's right.
She stood within touching distance, and Megatron shifted his helm towards her, regarding her with emotionless optics before he turned to Soundwave.
"You will remain here, Soundwave." Megatron rumbled, digging a digit into his partially healed head wound. Saberstorm frowned slightly at her leader before clearing her face-plate of the expression when he flicked his optics at her.
"Order: Acknowledged." Soundwave nodded.
"I will take Skywarp with me to Shockwave's location. The rest of you will await my orders here. Understood, Starscream?"
"Of course, my lord." The Seeker simpered, bowing low. He'd been taking unauthorized flights around the continent of Africa the past human month, and Megatron had punished him….with Saberstorm's slight help, as she'd walked into the training room mid-beating.
She still felt a bit bad, but didn't show it. It was against her coding to beat up another Seeker unless her spark was on the line.
Megatron rose from his throne, and Saberstorm fixed her optics onto his shoulder. "Safe flight, my lord."
He gave her an unreadable look from the corner of his optic, and strode heavily out the door with Skywarp bouncing after him and Soundwave waiting by the door. Once all three had exited, Starscream pouted at the door. His red optics slid over the throne, and his digits brushed over the back of the enormous chair. Before the other two Seekers could do anything, Starscream had lowered himself into the throne.
"Commander, I don't think you should do that…." Saberstorm met his optics with her own darker optics.
"I should be leader of the Decepticons," He growled, hooking his claws around the bottom of her chassis and yanking her down to his level. Saberstorm challengingly met his optics, and Starscream scoffed, releasing her chassis. "And you know that."
"Lord Megatron is our leader." Saberstorm insisted, not bothering to stand back up. Thundercracker had moved closer, and his optics slid down the Seeker femme's back-strut.
Starscream snorted, his wings twitching in annoyance. Saberstorm vented, and straightened. Thundercracker averted his optics, and vented quietly.
And then there was silence.
Ellie hugged her knees to her chest, watching as the Tiny Twins yelled insults at each other while they ignored their video game. The mocha skinned woman sighed heavily, rolling her green eyes.
Sliding from the enormous Autobot sized couch, Ellie pursed her lips and frowned before planting her hands on her hips.
"Enough!" She yelled, making the Tiny Twins still instantly. They gave her startled looks and the game announced loudly 'Game Over'. "You're too loud."
"So'ry." They murmured.
Skids looked around, suddenly and waddled over to the door to poke his head out. "Yo, where'd everybody go!?"
"You didn't notice that they all left?" Fig asked from the hall, where he'd been walking past. "Optimus took Ironhide, Chromia, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, Mirage and a team of Major Lennox's chosen soldiers to Russia. They left about an hour ago."
"Why'd they go there?" Mudflap asked. "It's cold as shit there."
"'Con signal." Fig shrugged, limping into the room. He'd been hurt in an earlier training session about a week ago and was still struggling with the injury.
"Who's left?" Ellie asked, surprised Mirage hadn't stopped to say goodbye.
"Ratchet, Prowl, Bee, First Aid, Wheeljack, those two," Fig nodded to the Tiny Twins. "You, me, and a variety of other personnel."
"Oh."
The base was silent for several moments, before the entire building rocked and heat suddenly blasted down the hall, followed by a mass of orange fire. Ellie shrieked, throwing her hands up to her ears and diving for the couch, which she knew she could probably worm her way under.
Panicking, the human CMO wildly spun around when she realized that there was no gap at the bottom of the couch.
Fig poked his head out of the door and his tan face paled, before he murmured something to the Tiny Twins and bolted down the hall.
Skids scooped up Ellie and Mudflap activated his blaster, ducking behind the couch, where he was joined by his brother.
"What's going on?!" Ellie whimpered, her hands still over her ears.
"Prowl…is..hang on." Mudflap muttered, tapping the side of his helm. Prowl's voice blurted from his speakers before the red mech lowered the volume.
"Decepticon signal detected. All Autobots on base to battle positions. Three Decepticons." Prowl announced in a calm but forceful way.
"I can't get through to Optimus or any of the bots on the plane!" Ratchet snarled. "The pit-spawned 'cons must have put a jammer on the plane! Wheeljack-"
"I am already working on it, old friend!"
The room shook and a crack appeared in the wall facing the twins. The pair left over the couch to the other side, activating blasters the best they could.
"Prowl, put the Rec Room on lockdown." Ratchet demanded. "Skids, Mudflap, and Elina are there."
The door to the Rec Room slid shut, and Ellie immediately felt slightly claustrophobic. Her heart was beating in her ears.
"One of the signals vanished!" First Aid's voice came over the speaker. "Did somebot get it!?"
The cracked wall suddenly shuddered and blasted inwards, showering the occupants with debris. Mudflap snapped off the live-comm, and charged his blaster.
"I know you're in here." A female voice sang, followed by another showering of larger wall and roof chunks, some of which were flaming. "Come out, come out, wherever you are~."
Skids and Mudflap exchanged meaningful glances and the red bot leapt over the couch holding his blaster at the ready.
"There you are."
Mudflap seemed a little surprised to see a femme standing before him, a darkly amused look on her face-plates.
She was a Seeker femme, if the wings on her back were anything to go by, and she looked down at him through sharp crimson optics. Her paint was dark blue and accented in darker purple, and a cheetah was painted on her right wing.
She seemed to stare at him for a moment, before a sharp-looking blade dropped into her servo with a deadly sounding 'shing'. He lifted his blaster, and before he could pull the trigger, he was staring at the stump of his wrist.
His blue optics rose to scan the femme again and she smirked, striding forwards slowly. When his scan came up without any information, Mudflap knew he had a split second to send it to the other Autobots before she was on him.
She seemed to realize what he was doing and she paused letting the data-package send before she placed her clawed servo on his shoulder-armor and plunged her blade deep into his spark.
Teal colored Energon dripped down the silver of her blade onto her servo and she dropped his husk to the floor. Mudflap could hear his brother calling for him, and he saw Ellie's feet before his spark shuttered to a stop.
Ellie watched as Skids, with a speed she didn't know he had, hurried around the couch, yelling his brother's name.
Something screeched, metal on metal, and the sound of a heavy metal body hit the floor. The mocha skinned woman hoped and prayed that it was the attacking 'con.
She listened, not daring to breathe, as the room went silent, and she scooted over to the edge of the couch, peeking around the corner.
"Hello, squishy." The femme sneered down at her, her blade flashing in the setting sun outside. Ellie got a quick look at the femme before she went flying backwards into the leg of one of the tables.
Something cracked and she slid down the leg, smashing her head against the concrete floor. The femme scoffed at her and Ellie stared as the winged femme strode out, rage bubbling in her as her vision spotted and darkened, before she dropped unconscious.
"I got it!" Wheeljack yelled over the comm First Aid had linked to the speakers around the Med-Bay. He was alone, monitoring the other Autobots.
"That's great, Wheeljack." The red and white mech answered, fiddling with a scanner and several berths, minutely adjusting them as the base shook again. "Get in contact with Optimus and get the plane turned around."
One of his scanners pinged, and First Aid hurried over to the screen. Two flat-lined sparks stood out among the large list of Autobots, and their location blinked at him in bright red text.
"Ratchet! Two Autobots are offline!" First Aid wailed, quickly accessing the surveillance cameras for the Rec Room.
"Who is it?" Ratchet snapped over the comm.
"Skids and Mudflap." First Aid answered.
"Optimus, this is Wheeljack. The base is being attacked. You need to get back here!"
"Affirmative, Wheeljack. The plane has turned around. Keep the Decepticons at bay until we arrive." Optimus replied.
"Sir," First Aid joined the conversation. "We're lacking the power to hold the Decepticons off. Our only able fighters are Ratchet, Prowl and Bumblebee."
"I can fight!" Wheeljack insisted.
"We still need you Wheeljack, especially if Ratchet gets injured." Optimus soothed. "Prowl, what are the designations of the attacking Decepticons?"
"Sir, I've had Thundercracker and Starscream in my sights since the alarms went off." Prowl replied.
First Aid flinched, turning back to the security footage from the Rec Room. He rewound it several minutes and played it from when Prowl had put the Tiny Twins on lockdown. When the wall imploded, First Aid got the vague shape of a Seeker before all the cameras fizzed with static.
"The third attacker, the one from the Rec Room is also a Seeker." He announced into the public comm.
"Skywarp." Sunstreaker snarled. He'd been quiet up until now, probably fuming or something.
"Can this plane go any faster?!" Sideswipe sniped, obviously raring to rip apart the three Seekers.
First Aid watched as the footage came back into focus, and he felt sick as he watched the Seeker rip out Skids' spark. One of the cameras had captured a front view and First Aid let the scanners go to work identifying the 'con.
The more he stared at the image, the less the Seeker looked like Skywarp and the more it looked like a femme. First Aid had seen one Seeker femme in his entire life time, back at the Medical Academy on Cybertron and only for a brief second.
The data base pinged at him and First Aid blanched.
"I scanned the image of the Seeker from the Rec Room…."
"Is it Skywarp?" Ironhide growled.
"No."
"Then who is he?" Chromia asked, obviously agitated.
"I don't know. And it's a femme. A Seeker femme." He replied, twisting his digits. Static fizzled over the speakers. "Ironhide? Chromia? Optimus, sir? Hello? Ratchet?"
"Nobody to help you, mudslogger."
First Aid whirled around, optics wide. He hadn't heard the door hiss open nor anybot enter. The if
His optics ghosted over the femme, eying the wings on her back. If he could get his servos on those, he'd be okay until help came.
The femme's lip-plates tilted into a cruel smirk, and the red light beneath her purple visor brightened. First Aid eyed her sharp toes and claws, then the blade in one of her servos and the blaster in the other. Her dark blue paint was unscratched and her armor undented.
"You're one of the medics, I'm assuming. I don't know much about you….I'm new." She drawled, twirling her sword. First Aid watched it carefully before he answered.
"I'm Medic First Aid." He sent another distress ping to the Autobots on base.
"First Aid?" Her expression, what he could see anyway, grew thoughtful. "Ratchet's prized pupil. Wouldn't it be just devastating if I killed you too? Ripped your spark right from your chassis, like I did that annoying green mech?"
First Aid launched himself behind one of the berths. She laughed, surprisingly not at all like the other Decepticons. It wasn't holier-than-thou, or grating, or evil; it was just an amused laugh.
"You think you can hide from me?" She chuckled. Her engine purred to life and wind swept through the room as she activated her boosters. First Aid crawled for the emergency exit door, but was stopped by the suddenly appearance of the femme's heeled pedes in front of his helm.
"I'm insulted, First Aid." She sneered, baring her denta. First Aid flinched, his processor whirling.
"What's…what's your designation?" He asked as he sent another ping.
"You're stalling, how cute. I'll humor you then, shall I? My designation is Saberstorm." She chuckled as she charged up her blaster and slid her visor back. First Aid stared up the barrel of her plasma gun, meeting her crimson optics.
"What's your function? You know…." He rolled as the blaster fired, and he narrowly missed having his knee-joint melted. As it was, the armor and floor got a bit scorched. "In the 'con ranks?"
"Let's play a game, little medic." The Seeker pulled her gun back into subspace and switched it with a second sword. "You ask a question, and I'll answer it if you dodge. I don't miss often."
"Your function?" He asked, pulling himself up and edging around one of the berths. Saberstorm smirked.
"I am Lord Megatron's heir." She replied. "Next question."
"Why are you a Decepticon?" Saberstorm's blast hit his shoulder, burning his armor and First Aid yelped.
"No answer. Next question." She sneered, her optics flickering over his body as though planning where to fire next.
"Where is Megatron?" He managed to duck this shot, and though it hit the wall and rained plaster down on him.
"On his way to destroy you." She laughed, this one grating against his audio receptors. First Aid studied the femme as he sent yet another ping, but this one got an answer.
::Ratchet, Med-Bay.:: -First Aid
::I'm coming.:: -Ratchet
"No more questions from you then?" Saberstorm appeared above him, and First Aid quietly slid out a scalpel. "Then I'm wasting my time."
The blaster on her arm whirred and the medic found himself staring at the glowing end of a cannon, about the size of one of Ironhide's prized weapons. First Aid gulped as the cannon washed his face with heat.
First Aid moved just as the femme fired. His servo pushed her cannon towards the ceiling and he drove the scalpel into the joint between her thigh and shin armor. Shrieking, the Seeker pulled back her other hand and shoved the sword into his side.
First Aid whimpered, stumbling away, clutching his side. The Seeker growled at him, her wings flaring as she advance, drawing both her blades.
Luckily for First Aid, the door slammed open just as Saberstorm's sword dove towards his neck cables. Ratchet roared from the doorway, and the buzz of the saw in one of his hands permiated the now silent room.
Saberstorm glanced between the two Autobots, one bleeding in front of her and the other advancing on her like an angry bear, before she made her decision. Both her blades vanished and she leapt upwards and grabbed the edge of the hole her cannon had made.
The Seeker hauled herself out onto the roof as Ratchet lunged. Her visor snapped down over her crimson optics and she scowled down at the pair. She tossed something down to join the Autobot and took to the air.
Smirking, the Seeker femme watched as flames billowed from the hole in the roof and blew out the windows. She didn't know what had happened to the Autobots, but she was willing to bet they were a little scorched.
Thundercracker rose from his section of the Autobot base, silhouetted by his own explosion of flame. He joined her by the main part of the building, firing down at the military structures.
Starscream cackled as he bolted past, and the other two Seekers watched as the Decepticon Commander pulled several loops in the air, firing explosives down at the buildings.
"Do you know where they keep the Energon?" Thundercracker asked as he shot down at the Autobot SIC.
"This way." Saberstorm scoffed, transforming midair and heading north. "The majority of it is kept in the bunker they used for the Shard. The rest was in the Rec Room, and that's gone now."
::Go find the Autoscum Scout. The yellow one, I left him near my explosion.:: -Thundercracker
::Sure thing. Can I kill him?:: -Saberstorm
::No. Leave him alive. You may injure the youngling.:: -Megatron
Saberstorm screeched to a halt mid-air, transforming and hovering in the air to offer the Decepticon leader a bow before heading towards the flaming wreckage of Thundercracker's part of the base. His hulking mass had suddenly appeared with Skywarp in the center of the base and he barely noticed her as he started vaporising the militia. Skywarp wavered and vanished before appeared farther out, where the lights of a plane could be seen in the growing darkness.
There was no youngling that Saberstorm could see as she landed, and the Seeker femme lurched into the shadow. Hissing, she yanked the scalpel buried in her knee joint out, throwing it across the ground where it glinted in the light of the fire. Bright blue Energon oozed from the wound and Saberstorm cursed under her breath, shrinking into the shadows.
Her area was silent, and she pulled out several of the explosives Skywarp had given her, pushing them into standing buildings and setting them off when she was far enough away.
She glided from standing building to standing building, and she smirked as she neared the Rec Room. The husks of the red and green twins laying unmoving in the light from the video screen. Saberstorm watched quietly, half-crouching as the plane holding the majority of the Autobots' screeched onto the runway and the back lowered.
A black truck drove off first, and Saberstorm's visor-scanner immediately told her it was Ironhide. He was followed by a blue motorcycle and a pair of flashy sports cars, and then the Prime himself.
A deep sense of loathing filled her spark and her optics narrowed. Calm washed from Soundwave's side of the bond and Saberstorm sent him back a flame of bright annoyance and anger. He responded with another wave of calm. This time Saberstorm let the calm wash over her spark, and she found herself settling into a half-crouch behind a stack of rubble. It left the Autobots completely seen, but she assumed nobot could see her.
::There's one missing.:: -Skywarp
::Missing?:: -Saberstorm
::The red infiltrator.:: -Skywarp
::His cloaking device! Where are you, Saberstorm?:: -Thundercracker
Saberstorm sent the older mech her coordinates and crouched lower, scanning the area again. Finally, a mech appeared several feet from the plane. He shook his helm and said something to the Prime, who motioned for the fighters to fan out.
Saberstorm pulled her gun from subspace, pulling up a targeting screen on her visor. It locked onto the red mech's spark, and the femme tightened her digit around the trigger. She snapped her finger back and smirked.
"There you are, you fucking bitch!" Something snarled behind her, and a cannon fired, sending Saberstorm's chassis into the rubble. Her already injured knee hit the ground and something in it cracked, sending shooting pain through that part of her protoform. Screeching, the femme whirled unsteadily, her optics flaring red and anger on her face.
"Mirage, duck!" The blue Autobot femme yelled. There was sound of something blowing up, and the backlashing shockwave sent shrapnel into the femme's wings. Saberstorm loomed menacingly over the tiny fleshy woman she'd sent into the table earlier, ignoring the medical alerts that flashed across her HUD.
"I am going to kill you slowly." She hissed. "I will rip every limb from your body while you scream, starting with the mechanical one."
"Screw you." The human bit out, lifting her cannon again. Ellie fired her cannon, and Saberstorm's servo flashed out as the blast hit her left wing, making the already damaged appendage gush Energon, which splattered against the ground.
Saberstorm's sharp servos pinned the mocha-skinned woman's arms to her sides and dug into the flesh of her side and stomach, drawing crimson blood. Ellie shrieked, clawing at the Seeker's servo, her already broken ribs protesting against any movement she made.
"PRIME!" Megatron bellowed, emerging from around a corner. He looked rather menacing, framed by the devastation of the Autobots' base.
"Megatron." The enormous blue-and-red mech stepped from the ground of warriors, who had been distracted by the appearance of the scorched First Aid, Ratchet, Wheeljack, followed by Prowl and Bumblebee, who were supporting First Aid and Ratchet the best they could between them. Wheeljack limped after them, one of his old blasters in one hand and an explosive in the other.
For once, the two opposing leaders didn't launch into dramatic speeches. Optimus Prime pulled sword from subspace and Megatron leapt at him.
Saberstorm leaned heavily against her pile of rubble, sorting through the warnings on her HUD. She was losing Energon, she was unable to walk properly, and she definitely wouldn't be able to fly. She needed to get back to Knockout as soon as possible.
Lurching, Saberstorm rounded the rubble pile putting most of her weight on her right leg-strut. Energon splashed to the ground, the fire making it glow.
The Autobots pointed weapons at her immediately and Saberstorm's optics narrowed beneath her visor. "Nobot move," She lifted her servo and tightened her grip on Ellie, who screamed. "Or the fleshy goes squish."
The Autobots froze and Megatron pushed away Optimus. He turned a guarded look to his heir, watching to see what she did next.
"Put Elina down," Optimus sheathed his sword and lifted his servos, glancing back at his troops, who got rid of their weapons and lifted their servos. "And you may leave without harm."
He seemed to regret his words when Saberstorm stepped into the dying light of the sunset and the flickering of the fire. Her battered form made cruel smirks spread across Sunstreaker and Sideswipe's faces.
Lines of Energon dripped down the expanse of her wings, both the back and the front and her knee joint was dented and her shin-strut was streaked with glowing blue. Megatron's shark-toothed sneer dropped into a scowl, and he cracked his servo joints.
"And no disappearing acts." She turned her helm towards Mirage who was flickering out of view. He immediately scowled and came back into full vision, his teal optics narrowed.
The humans from the plane poked their heads out and were motioned back by the bot nearest the ramp.
The whine of three jet engines suddenly appeared overhead and three consecutive blaster shots ripped through the air. Each one hit its intended target; Ironhide, Ratchet, and Optimus. Chromia yelped, lurching for her sparkmate, who fell to one knee, and Bumblebee scrambled to support Ratchet, who'd taken the shot to his dominant arm.
Optimus' optics narrowed, though he rocked slightly and his leg threatened to buckle. The Trine roared over to where the other two Decepticons stood, though only Skywarp landed.
The five of them made for an imposing sight. Megatron's shark-teeth flashed in firelight as he laughed, rising into the air. Skywarp wrapped one of his strong arms around Saberstorm's waist, though her boosters flared to help him.
The femme Seeker glared down at the Autobots, and sneering, she tossed Ellie towards the ground. "Catch."
Mirage dove for the human, cradling her in his palms and running scans immediately.
The Autobots glanced away, save for Optimus, who kept his gaze firmly on the new Decepticon. There was a loud popping noise….and the Autobots were left on their burning island base.
bumblebeebuzzzz: Haha, that's a very short period. I'm glad you like it.
Autobot Novastar: Yup. Definitely alive...kind of.
Tally Ho Mofos: I'm glad you like it.
professionalemail101: No, no, no. Holographic training room. Both the 'bots and 'cons have one. Twins and Ironhide were still on Diego Garcia.
StarSwoop: Meggies doesn't have the hots for her...but be prepared for more 'warp cuddles.
TatteredAngel42: Yes, she's alive in a sense. -gets smelling salts-
Alice Gone Madd: I know right? :)
velociraptor4659: Hehehehe
Madame SparkAttack: The Dragon has entered...and thinks that meh is better than ugh.
2211Nighthawk: I'm glad you like the name, it took me a while to find one that would work. You made up your mind? :P
