Chapter 19

It was a posh restaurant and even from outside it gleamed and smelled of a particular kind of essence that only seven-star restaurants have.

Spencer was impressed. This time the boys (minus Ian who had vanished before Bryan could tell him of his idea) had really gone all out to show their love it seemed. Bryan had wanted Ian to come along to see if the girl he had asked to come on a blind date would actually like Spencer or not but Ian had vanished after giving them the girl's number.

The boys entered Feliz Hotel and Tala nodded, "For once a peaceful place without any date drama. For once we can just sit down and eat in peace. I am famished. Let's eat."

"Thanks, guys," Spencer said. "I was expecting some ambush and a blind date. Good that I decided to come after all."

"Yeah," Bryan smiled and winked at Kai inconspicuously.

They were about to sit down when Tala stopped.

"What happened, Tala?" Kai asked seeing his friend's smile drop to an angry scowl.

They followed Tala's gaze and what they saw surprised all of them. Ian was sitting at a table happily talking with Hina who was laughing and talking animatedly.

"Oh look its Ian," Spencer smiled.

Ian turned around and something in his expression showed that he didn't like what he saw.

Tala balled his fists and said, "I'm not feeling hungry. I'm going home."

"Tala!" Kai called but his friend had already burst out of the door.

Bryan frowned, "What happened to him?"

"I'll go and see," Kai said. "You take care of Spencer till then."

Bryan nodded and steered Spencer to a table for two.

Spencer looked at him questioningly, "Kai and Tala are coming back, right? We need a table for four, Bryan!"

"Uh, no," Bryan smiled. "You uh…we-uh…I have someone to introduce you too." He looked towards the door through which Angelina Di Maria was walking in.

Angelina was wearing a black gown with a split that nearly reached her waist. Her stilettoes made a slight click-clack as she walked to Spencer's table. Her bleached hair bounced lightly when she stopped and asked, "Spencer, I presume?"

"Yes, he is," Bryan smiled. Ian certainly had good contacts.

"She's Angelina, your date for the evening! Enjoy yourselves," Bryan said before turning away.

Spencer winced at Angelina already beginning to feel nervous. "Just excuse me for a sec," he started.

"Oh puhleez darling," Angelina smirked. "We just met. Let's have a bit wine and talk first. You can thank your friend later."

Hina looked behind Ian at the scene, "What is happening? They've got Spencer a date. I have to tell Jennifer this."

She called up Jennifer who was happily sitting in her suite with Diana who was being helped with her report by Giselle. "Hello," Jennifer said pleasantly.

"You have to come here," Hina said. "Bryan has set up Spencer with a date."

"What!" screeched Jennifer.

Diana and Giselle stopped their discussion to look at Jennifer who had gone red in the face. "Where are you?" she asked.

"I'm at Feliz Hotel. It's in the city," came Hina's reply.

"We're coming," Jennifer said. She cut the call and turned to Diana, "Do you still have Helen's number? Helen from the music shop?"

"Yes," Diana said.

"Call her and tell to get ready for a date," Jennifer ordered.

"But-" Diana began.

Jennifer repeated, "Just tell her."

Diana looked scared and immediately ran up Helen.

Jennifer said to herself, "There's no way I'm losing this one to Bryan."
