Chapter 23: Sasuke's Return
Whirlpool Gates; Dawn...
As the sun slowly rose over the horizon, a figure was visible on the horizon yet his appearance wasn't due to him walking directly in front of the rising sun. When he was directly in front of the village's gates, his appearance was clear. Raven hair in the shape of a duck's butt in the back and onyx eyes clearly showed "Uchiha" but his clothing was the proof he was an "Uchiha". A white t-shirt with the Uchiha fan on the back and sleeves and navy blue pants and a sword strapped to his back. The figure was holding a pack halfway on his shoulder. He looked up at the gates and sighed.
(For a better description, imagine him the way he looks in the series in appearance and the sword is the one from the series too)
"Three years huh? Hn. Things haven't changed that much." muttered the figure as he walked into the village.
As he walks towards the village's Uzukage tower, he ignores the stares from the villagers until the streets are strangely deserted and he looks around, eyes alert.
"You can come out now. I know you're there." said the figure with some annoyance.
Suddenly a certain blue-green mask wearing jonin walks in front of him and stops before he removes his mask and smiles at the figure, revealing his sharp teeth.
"Sasuke! Long time no see! How was your journey?" said Klaxon leaning on an invisible wall (when there isn't one).
"Fine. Why is this street deserted?" said Sasuke looking around yet keeping an eye on one of his sensei.
"No reason..." said Klaoxn replacing his mask before wrist-blades hidden in his metal left arm spring out.
"I highly doubt that..." said Sasuke dropping his pack and reaching for his sword.
"Okay. The street's deserted so nobody get hurts." said Klaxon polishing his wrist-blades.
"Why?"
"Look up." said Klaxon pointing skyward.
"MASSIVE DEMONIC RASENGAN!" yelled Nine-Tailed Naruto as he drove the massive red rasengan in his hand/paw into the spot where Sasuke was standing.
*Explosion!*
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" yelled Sasuke spitting out a massive fireball only to have be sucked in by a vortex created by Obito.
"Yay! Sasuke's back! Tobi give you welcome hom present now! Kumai-Exploding Birds!" said Tobi before Clay Birds shot out of the vortex created by his right eye, the birds flying towards Sasuke.
*EXPLOSION!*
A log is in the place Sasuke was standing.
"AH! Where Sasuke go?!" said Tobi looking around frantically before a thousand birds were heard and Sasuke phased right through him.
"Hey! Ha hah ha hah! That tickled! Ninja Art: Escape Jutsu!" said Tobi before he disappeared underground and reappeared behind Sasuke only to have the raven-haired teen's sword embedded in his stomach yet he walks out of the sword, no wound visible.
"I really need to work on my jutsus..." said Tobi rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
"THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH!" yelled Klaxon using the move on Sasuke who flew into a nearby lamp-post and then got up, Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan blazing as steam rises from his head.
"When did you get the Eternal Mangekyou Sasuke?" said Obito removing his mask and Sasuke's expression turns to that of sorrow and Naruto returns to normal.
"Hey, where's Itachi?" said Naruto looking around before he gets smacked upside the head by Klaxon.
"You blockhead! Isn't it obvious?!" said Klaxon looking at his student with disbelief.
"No..."
"Let me make a picture a for you. Aracuan!"
[Aracuan song]
A bird with red hair and a white t-shirt with a grey stripe near the bottom appears and shakes Naruto's hand vigorously before the bird salutes Klaxon.
"Show Naruto what is so painfully obvious." said Klaxon and the Aracuan nods vigorously before he pulls a white screen behind Naruto and spins until he looks like a Aracuan version of Itachi. The Aracuan-Itachi coughs up blood before he falls into a grave and covered by dirt and "Funeral March" plays as the Aracuan plays a trumpet. The Aracuan pulls the bottom of the screen up and the screen disappears, dragging the Aracuan with it.
[End Song]
"That is one crazy bird..." muttered Naruto, "So Itachi is...?"
Klaxon nods.
"I'll tell you guys what happened...later though...I need to speak to the Uzukage." said Sasuke sheathing his sword and picking up his pack. The three watched Sasuke walk towards the Uzukage tower followed by...
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN OLD HAG?!"
*EXPLOSION*
The three then leave the area as two black blurs and one orange blur.
Two Hours Later...
Sasuke was sitting in front of a fire with Obito, Klaxon, and Naruto on the opposite sides of the fire and Sasuke sighs before he looks up.
"You want to know how I got the Eternal Mangekyou right?" said Sasuke clamly and the three nod.
Sasuke takes a deep breath before he begins his tale...
One Year Ago...
Sasuke and Itachi are in a wide open clearing, both facing each other.
"Sasuke, I want you to kill me." said Itachi calmly, no emotions visible on his stoic face.
"What?" said Sasuke in shock.
"Kill me...to get the Mangekyou and the Eternal Mangekyou...you will need it."
Sasuke looked hesitant before he made the hand signs for Chidori and the sounds of a thousand birds chirping filled the air and Sasuke charged his brother and reared his hand back and within a split second Itachi dodged and Sasuke's attack instead impaled Naruto and Sasuke's eyes widened as he saw Naruto's eyes lose their light before they closed...forever and Sasuke stared in shock as he had just killed his best friend and then a burning sensation fills his eyes and he clutches them in pain and he wants to rip them out of their sockets due to the pain and when he opens them again, he sees Naruto turn into crows and Itachi walks forward and bends down.
"Why?" gasped Sasuke.
"To help you get the Mangekyou. You killed your best friend, like I told you to all those years ago when I...massacred the clan by order of Danzo. The Third Hokage didn't want me to do it, but was shot down by the Elders. *Violent Coughing Fit*" said Itachi.
"Are you okay?"
"No...it's almost my time...*coughs up blood*..."
"What?"
"Before I massacred the clan, I was diagnosed with an incurable disease and had only a few more years to live. I've been fighting it back with Soldier Pills and sheer willpower, but now...*coughs violently*...I can't hold on much longer. Sasuke...take my eyes..."
"What?" said Sasuke in shock, his eyes widening.
"Take my eyes...obtain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. You'll need it..."
"I...I can't..."
"Do it...please..."
"Okay..."
"Oh, Sasuke...beware the hooded man with the red eyes...he's the one who ruined the Uchiha's reputation causing the massacre..."
"How do you know?"
"Because...he forced Obito to release the Nine-Tails fifteen years ago...don't blame our uncle for his actions, he had a choice, save the village and lose his two nephews or save his two nephews...he chose us..."
Itachi then fell backwards but Sasuke caught him and laid his older brother onto the ground and Itachi weakly lifted up his hand and poked Sasuke on the forehead.
"{Weakly}Forgive me Sasuke...there won't be a next time." said Itachi before he closed his eyes, a small smile gracing his face, and his hand went limp and fell to the ground. Tears plastered Itachi's face as Sasuke tried to hide his tears but to no avail.
After recovering, the second remaining Uchiha removed his brothers eyes and placed them in a jar with preservation liquid and then buried his brother and walked off.
"I then found a medical ninja and had her transplant my eyes. She looked like an Inuzuka with the purple facial paint on her cheeks but she didn't have a dog with her. Said it was her second time doing an eye transplant..." said Sasuke and then he noticed the pale complexion his uncle had.
"Obito, you okay?"
"D-did you...get...her name?" asked Obito, his throat suddenly dry and his heart pounding in his chest.
"Her name was...Rin...something...I can't remember." said Sasuke.
"Rin is...alive? Where did you see her?!" said Obito grabbing Sasuke by the shoulders and shaking him.
"In a village roughly six miles south of Whirlpool. Why do you ask?"
"No time! I'll explain later! Bye!" said Obito before he donned his orange spiral patterned mask and disappeared in a vortex originating from his visible eye.
"Do you know what that was about?" said Sasuke looking at Klaxon who shrugged.
"By the way Sasuke, how much trouble did you get into with Grandma Tsunade?" said Naruto.
"I'd rather not talk about it." said Sasuke looking away.
"Aw, is the mighty Sasuke a big chicken?"
"Shut it dobe!"
"Bawk, bawk, bawk, bawk, bawk!"
"THAT'S IT! Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
"Wind Style: Air Vacuum!"
"CHIDORI!"
"RASENGAN!"
*EXPLOSION!*
"Whoa! Hey! Watch it! Why is Klaxon stuck in crossfire?!" yelled Klaxon as he dodged kunai, shuriken and various elemental attacks exchanged between his two students.
