Sneaking into the castle was a hard enough task on its own. But when it was completely surrounded by guards that knew to look for you, it was a very very difficult task. Veala, however, knew exactly how to get in unnoticed. She knew where the underground tunnel started and where it let out because she and Trunks had made it themselves. It wasn't a very big tunnel and they had to be especially careful as there were two of them instead of just one. Veala tried her hardest to get Goten to let her come alone, but all he had to say was 'No way in hell.' So she relented and there they were, making their way out of the tunnel and into the castle. As she and Goten made their way into the halls, wearing the bracelets she had designed to hide their power levels, they quickly hid behind some decorations to keep themselves hidden from a passing patrol.
When they were clear they made a run for it up to her bedroom to get the things they'd need. There were three things involved in her very simple plan. Communicator, scouter, and Trunks. They first made their way into her room to get the scouter and communicator. Then they were going to break into the rest of the castle, save Trunks and the others and get out... She was going to re-wire the communicator to be able to overhear anything the enemy was planning. The scouter was going to be their alarm system, as it could tell them exactly what was coming towards them and how powerful it was. They needed to save Trunks and the others because they'd need man power, and Veala and Trunks always worked better together. Veala wanted to wait until her parents got back to try and take the castle back from the enemy, because she didn't want to take any chances.
Goten on the other hand was all for shooting the hell out of all the enemies they could on their way out and if they happened to kill the leader, yay! If not then they'd try later. Veala ended up winning that argument because she was the Princess and he was wrapped around her fingers.
There were a few problems with her plan, not that anyone would tell her that least of all Goten. Veala didn't know where her brother was being held, and they had to act quickly before they were found out and captured. She assumed Trunks was in the dungeon, so that's where the duo headed straight after they had the items from her room she needed.
"Veala, we only have enough time to check two places, after that we risk getting caught," Goten whispered to her as they ran silently through the castle towards the dungeon.
"I know that Goten, but we need find him," she whispered back not bothering to look back at him even for a second. She knew he'd look worried and she didn't need to see that right now. Before they could even make it down the corridor they heard a dark voice that sounded almost amused.
"Well, well, well," the voice came from thin air it seemed, "look who we have here,"
Veala's whole being froze and she couldn't seem to find her voice. She couldn't find the strength to breath, let alone move.
She knew that voice.
It was the one from her dreams.
Goten grabbed her hand and turned to find the source of the voice. He knew it, too, but he wasn't about to show fear.
"Who's there!" he asked into the air. The voice laughed and a cloaked man came out from the shadows
"Why don't you ask Veala? She knows exactly who I am," his smirk was evil and the look in his eyes made Veala shiver.
"What the hell are you doing alive?" she asked him with a glare that usually rendered her victims useless. Not this guy. He just smiled at her, it was a pure evil smile that told her she wasn't going to like this situation at all.
"It's nice to see you again, too. It seems you've grown up a lot since I was last here," he said as his eyes wandered up her body, lingering a little too long around her chest area and circling back to her now absolutely livid eyes.
Goten growled.
Yamcha Jr. didn't seem to even notice him until that moment and his eyes came to where their hands were intertwined.
"Oh so you've got yourself a little boy-toy now," He chuckled then stared into Goten's eyes saying
"I don't think he likes me eye fucking you,"
Goten just about jumped and killed the bastard right there, but Veala's hand stopped him. He felt his energy spiking and didn't seem to notice the blue sparks surrounding him. His eyes flickered back and forth between a wicked blue and a dark black. He was trembling in anger and his eyes never left Yamcha's, all the while that bastard was smirking at him. The nerve.
"Don't even try Goten," she sneered and suddenly she was gone. He looked over and she appeared behind Yamcha Jr.
"He's mine," she was faster than anything Yamcha Jr. had seen and as a result he did not dodge in time. She grabbed him from behind and sent him flying at the wall with such force that had he not turned so he hit his metal arm he would have broken every bone on that side of his body.
Goten, who had just a moment ago been angrier than he'd ever been, stared in shock as his girlfriend single handedly took on the person who had taken her kingdom hostage. It scared him a little if he was being honest with himself. She had phased in behind Yamcha Jr. and picked him up by the collar
"Where is my brother? And don't make me ask again because if I have to I promise you won't like what happens," her voice never wavered and that made her ten times scarier than usual.
Yamcha Jr. just started to laugh, and even when her hands came to his throat and started to choke him he just smirked and said
"Well looks like you've gotten a lot tougher than I expected. To answer your question Trunks is in this castle somewhere. Have fun trying to find him with my entire army coming after you,"
Veala's grip only tightened and she shoved him up against the wall
"If you're dead it won't matter, I'll beat your army and then take my castle back, and you won't be getting in my way," her eyes were dark and full of painful promises. He wasn't getting out of this. No, not this time.
Before they could do anything Yamcha Jr. sounded the alarm remotely and smirked as she glared at him again.
"Vey we need to get out of here! We'll come back and get this bastard later," Goten said from behind her.
"No, I can finish this!" she yelled back, but it was too late and Yamcha was gone. He used her momentary distraction to slip out of her grasp and make his way across the hall.
"Well, have fun getting captured," He laughed, seeming so carefree and sure. Like he was positive he was going to win and take what he wanted.
Veala went after him and punched him in the face. But before he could retaliate Goten grabbed her and flew off with her in his arms
His laughter was all they could hear in the background.
"That's right, run! See how long you can stay not captured,"
Veala growled and tried to get out of Goten's grasp so she could go back and kill him. Hard as she struggled, she couldn't seem to break free of him.
"No Veala, we'll get him later. We can't do this right now!" Goten blasted away three guards who had reached them.
"Let me go! I'm going to kill him!" she struggled, but Goten held her with all his might
"Veala we're getting out of here, and that's that! Don't argue with me. I promised your parents I'd keep you safe and that's what I plan to do," he yelled exasperated with her as he carried her down the stairs to the dungeon. They quickly and quietly slipped into one of the rooms as the guards passed by them in the all, unable to sense them.
"V-Veala?" a voice cracked behind them and they both turned to look.
"Amy!" Veala rushed over to her and took a good look at her friend to make sure she wasn't too badly injured.
"Are you alright? Don't worry I'm going to get you out of here!" Veala and Goten both went to help her get down, but she stopped them.
"N-No there's no time…Veala I have to tell you something. Now listen closely, the other royals and those others who got out of here set up a base ten miles south of here. It's underground and the tunnel to get you in is under the tree with Trunks' initials on it. You need to get there and get help to be able to win this battle. Please hurry…the faster you get a plan together the faster we get saved and this kingdom is back to whom it belongs," Amy was breathing hard and she looked at Veala with such ferocity that they couldn't argue.
"We…We'll be back and we'll save you. We promise," Veala said and grabbed Goten's hand.
"Just go. It should be clear," Amy forced a small smile and watched as the two ran away. She wasn't about to leave Trunks here alone, even if they couldn't be in the same room, she didn't want to leave him in this huge castle by himself. She would wait until Veala and Goten got back. She closed her eyes and listened to the alarms. They'd stop soon enough. And when they were done she knew she'd have some questions to answer.

"Just tell me where they are and I won't have to hurt you anymore," his voice was dark and laced with venom. Like a snake that had just bit and paralyzed its victim and was just playing with it now.
"I-I can't tell you what I don't know…" her voice came out shakier than she would have liked, but she was trying to cover up how much pain she was in as well as speak and that wasn't very easy.
A hand came in contact with her cheek again and she let out a sobbing kind of a noise.
"I'm losing my patience girl. Tell me where the princess is and I'll just leave you alone!" he was getting more and more impatient with the duchess. And she knew it was only a matter of time before he snapped and she was a goner.
"I'm telling you I don't know!" she tried again, but was only rewarded with a knee in her gut. She spit and knew there was blood mixed in with her saliva. She whimpered lightly as cold fingers trailed across her bruised cheek.
"Just make this easy and tell me where she is," he asked once more, his voice on the outside seeming gentle, but Amy knew better than to fall into that old trap again.
"Please, you must believe me… I don't know where she is,"
"And even if you did?" he asked
Amy's head was down and she was staring at the floor, but she gathered her courage and lifted her head up so she could look her capture straight in the eyes.
"I wouldn't tell you," she said quietly but fiercely. The hit she was expecting didn't come. Instead she got a smirk from the man in front of her and he started laughing maniacally.
"Well then I guess I have no more use for you then," he said and her blood went cold. As he was walking away, pain entered her system and she screamed…
"Amy!" Trunks gasped awake, sweating and panting like he had just been through a rough work out. Every time he closed his eyes he saw her. And she was always in pain. He growled and pulled against his restraints for about the millionth time since he had been tied up. Images and feelings of pain shot through him and he pulled harder against his restraints. She was in trouble and he couldn't do anything about it. Trunks yelled out and thrashed until one of the guards in front of the door called back in the room
"Hey keep it down in there!"
Trunks growled.
"Tell your leader to get in here and maybe I'll keep quiet. We need to have a little talk,"
His remarks just caused the guard to scoff and laugh at him.
"Yeah, right. That's not going to happen. He's busy with your little girlfriend," the guard laughed again and Trunks clenched his fists
"What has he done to Amy?" his voice was cold and unforgiving. If anything had happened to her, he swore there would be no mercy when he got out of here. None at all.
"Wouldn't you like to know? She's a tough one to crack that little duchess. But after a few good hits and a threat or two she started to break down,"
Trunks felt his hands clench further and he was shaking from anger. He was breathing angrily and his eyes that had once been closed opened and they were glowing powerful blue. No one touched his woman.
"Took one hell of a beating though. Serves her right for not cooperating," the guard was running his mouth and didn't seem to notice the quickly growing power level of the Prince in the room behind him. Nor did he seem to notice the blue static energy coming off the young boy. Trunks let out a yell and as the guard turned around to look and gloat some more all he could remember thinking before his world went black was
'Wasn't his hair purple before?'
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOO
"Kakarot! Give me an update," Vegeta landed next to his captain and second in charge.
"King Vegeta, sir! Our army has taken out most of the men here. They don't seem to be as strong as we originally thought," Goku said with a slight frown. Vegeta and Bulma had just barely entered the fight again. Bulma landed next to Vegeta soon after he had found Goku
"This isn't right…" Bulma muttered under her breath. She jumped up and looked around. She noticed the fighting and where it was going on. There were only two different areas where they were actually fighting. The other areas were almost completely desolate. She didn't have time to really think about it as someone shot a Ki blast at her in the air. She dodged it easily.
"Woman! Get down here before you get yourself killed!" Vegeta growled at her from the forest floor. She scowled and quickly descended.
"Something's not right about these fights Vegeta, it's like they aren't even trying to win!" she was thinking out loud again and began to pace as she thought about it further.
"That's because they're not," a voice chimed in from behind her, and she stopped to look at him. It was Tarble. He looked at Bulma with a smile and then shrunk back a little under Vegeta's glare. And when he didn't continue Vegeta opened his mouth to say something insulting and degrading before telling him to continue, but before he could do that Goku saved Tarble from that humiliation.
"What do you mean they aren't trying to win?"
Tarble looked at Goku then to Vegeta –who was the one who really needed to hear this—and then continued with his report.
"Their leader isn't on this planet. They were left behind as decoys. They knew we'd come here to fight so their leader brought the strongest fighters with him to Vegeta-sai, and left them here to fend for themselves…" Tarble shook his head in disgust. Who would do that to their soldiers? Leave them to die like this.
"How do you know that?" Vegeta questioned, stepping closer to his younger brother and grabbing him by the shirt. He hoisted him up and bared his teeth a little in warning
"I swear if you're involved in this in any way I'll…!" Vegeta didn't get to finish because Bulma smacked him on the shoulder
"Put him down Vegeta!" she gave him a look that said 'now or I'm going to hit you harder' so he obliged.
"Tarble. Explain," she demanded in a stern voice.
Vegeta had his arms folded and was glaring at the poor younger prince.
Tarble put his hands up like he was about to surrender
"I questioned a guard I found over by the head of their base camp…he told me everything after I made him drink a truth serum I made…" he was trying not to stutter under his older brother's scary looks.
"Alright," Bulma said, relaxing once again.
"So what do we do?" Tarble asked after a moment of awkward silence.
Vegeta grabbed Bulma around the waist and pulled her to him, so they were side by side.
"No one makes a fool out of us or our family," he growled into her ear. She simply nodded in response and they looked at each other with growing smirks. Without saying another thing to each other –out loud anyways—Vegeta took off with her in his arms
"Gather everyone back to the ships! We're going to end this stupid little game and head home to kick all the rest of their stupid asses!" Vegeta yelled down to Goku who nodded and went to work
"Wait what's going on?" Tarble asked as he followed Goku to help anyway that he could.
"Vegeta and Bulma have a plan," he said simply and hollered at the soldiers to retreat back to the ships.
"But they didn't say anything; they just looked at each other!" Tarble said extremely exasperated with this whole situation.
"Yeah, their bond is like super strong or something and they can talk to each other in their minds. It's kind of strange, but you get used to it. I mean with enough energy anyone can communicate telepathically. They just don't need any energy to do it," Goku was trying to explain and fly at the same time, and he wasn't the best at multi-tasking.
Tarble frowned and followed Goku further into the forest
"Alright Tarble!" Goku said pleasantly "Let's get back to the ship and help Vegeta out!" he was always so happy and glad to help.
"Yes, let's," Tarble says and they both fly off back to Vegeta's ship. They are almost back to where their ships had landed when they meet a group of enemy soldiers that they can't shake no matter what they do.
"Kakarot!" Vegeta was suddenly yelling at him through their communicator. "What is taking you so damn long? Hurry it up or we're leaving without you!"
"I'm sorry Vegeta! We got stopped by some enemy soldiers; we'll be there in a seco…ah!" Goku barely dodged the kick from one of the enemies that hit his communicator and caused it to fall to the ground and Goku to say
"Aww…that was brand new! Bulma's going to kill me…" he was too busy lamenting his surety of death to notice the hit coming towards his stomach.
Tarble rushed over and snapped his arm off causing the enemy to cry out in pain and Tarble to shoot a KI blast through where his heart would be, and watching as he fell to the ground below them.
"Goku let's go!" Tarble exclaimed and started flying back off towards the ships, already having taken care of the other two bad guys.
Goku blinked a few times then took off after him. They flew into the hanger of the ship right as the door closed.
"Thanks Tarble! Now let's go help Vegeta and Bulma get this plan underway," Goku started running straight to the main control room.
"Kakarot what took you so long?" Vegeta asked upon him entering the room and he frowned as his brother soon followed.
"Sorry, sir. We were ambushed. Tarble saved us though!" Goku smiled at the younger prince then went to his King's side
"So what's the plan?" he barely had time to ask when the ship suddenly ascended very quickly
"Whoa!" Goku struggled to keep his balance and fell into Tarble who fell backwards and they both ended up on the floor dazed.
"Woman, warn us next time before taking off at hyper speed!" Vegeta growled lightly as he took his seat next to Bulma, but he smirked slightly when his head was turned
"The plan, Kakarot, is to blow this entire planet to pieces," he explained calmly and watched out the windows as the rest of his fleet began heading back home.
"Alright boys," Bulma smiled as she flew them just far enough out to call it safe "here we go," she started up the energy cannon and it began the count down.
"Cannon to fire in sixty seconds," the countdown voice said.
Tarble and Goku jumped up and all but ran to the controls where Bulma was operating things
"Only sixty seconds to charge up and blow up an entire planet?!" Goku exclaimed
"Well, yeah. This is me we're talking about," Bulma rolled her eyes and pushed two more buttons
"Cannon to fire in fifty seconds,"
Tarble gawked a little at the Queen
"You are seriously amazing, how is that even possible?" He was too busy admiring her work to hear the growl from behind him.
"Well I'm just amazing, and a genius. Isn't Vegeta lucky?" she teased
"Cannon to fire in forty seconds,"
Bulma continued to push a few buttons and after forty seconds, her energy cannon fired straight to the center of the planet
"Brace yourselves!" she shouted over the noise, "This is going to be a bumpy ride home,"
Vegeta grabbed her hand and they all ran to the door and sealed it shut behind them as the room got to hot to even be in.
"Woman, your damn controls are overheating again," he scowled as he held her close to him, he picked her hands up and watched as the burns started to make themselves clear. He placed a small gentle kiss on them and shook his head at her
"So much for being a genius," he teased quietly, he didn't want this time with her to be spent with anger and worry. He was going to be kind and fun, until it was time to be completely serious again. They both needed it at a time like this.
"Yeah, yeah. So it has one flaw," she mumbled with a small blush on her cheeks. She wasn't used to him being like this in front of other people.
Tarble walked over and very quietly interrupted them
"I have some herbs that can help with that burn…" he shrunk back a little under Vegeta's glare, but stood his ground and looked at Bulma who smiled slightly at him
"Thanks Tarble…maybe later," she said quietly and pulled away from Vegeta.
She walked to the door and looked through the window to see the planet they had just destroyed. It was just a pile of floating rocks now. Debris in space.
She watched for another moment before saying
"Time to go home and get our kids and our kingdom back," she said determinedly. Her eyes started to glow blue, and if Vegeta hadn't walked in front of her and distracted her she would have gone super.
"Damn right it is," Vegeta opened the door to the control room and waited ten seconds before stepping inside.
"We're going to show these bastards what they've gotten themselves into. And when they realize how wrong they were to think that they could win, we're going to let them think they can leave. And while they have a little bit of hope left in them we're going to shoot them all from behind and watch as they all disintegrate," Vegeta's evil smirk stayed glued on his face the whole rest of the way to Vegeta-sai. And even Bulma didn't know what to say after that. They were going to save their planet.
Bulma just hoped it wasn't too late, and that her family was safe.
