Hey guys! How are you? Sorry I didn't upload anything for so long. Anyway, today we are introducing our last main character... Or more like side/main character... Whatever, I'd like you guys to give me some ideas for him as well, since I want to make a lot of things happening from now on ^_^ But no ideas means fast ending and I don't really want that... I'm not asking for a whole plot, just something that might be on your mind, that's all. Thanks for reading my story so far, please enjoy the 7th Chapter!

Chapter 7: New member

Naruto's P.O.V.

I could hear hundreds of people from the other side of the doors. I could feel the sweat in my hands as I clenched them. My heart was beating faster and faster. The day had come.

"Don't worry, you'll do just fine." Iruka told me to encourage me.

"Yeah... Right... Umm... Tell me again why are you here?" I asked him, trying to also be a little logical at a time like this.

"My sweet student is about to become famous, I have to be sure nothing happens to him... Plus, Kakashi invited me." He said, muttering the last part. I stared at him with an arched eyebrow.

"Are you two dating?" I asked him out of the blue. He immediately blushed.

"What kind of nonesense is that?! Of course not! I was just keeping in touch with him to make sure you were alright!" he said fast.

"Uh-huh..." was all I did. Looks like I wasn't the only one in love around here.

"We now represent you Hebi's new member, Uzumaki Naruto!" suddenly the speakers said and the doors started to open.

"Good luck!" Iruka said and stepped back. I waited till the doors were completely opened and started walking with confidence. Right, this is what I have to do. Be confident! I went to were the rest of the band was and sat beside them. After that Kakashi and the rest of us started answering plently of questions the reporters had for us. Thankfully I answered the least of them.

When all of that was over we went to an after party that was held for me.

"This is kind of embarassing." I said as I walked in. Suigetsu smiled at me.

"You'll get used to it." he said and walked further in. I spotted my friends and went to greet them. Of course I had invited them to both of these events.

"Narutooo~! You were so awesome! Like a professional!" Sakura told me excited. I smiled and laughed.

"I was shaking like a fish on the inside though." I told her.

"You were great." she said happily. Then Gaara approached me.

"You better not forget us now that you are famous." he told me. I rolled my eyes.

"Are you going to tell me this thing everyday from now on? Gaara, I told you! You are my friends, I won't forget you." I told him and hugged him. He smiled at me.

"Naruto! Come here for a second." Suigetsu told me.

"Oh, be right back." I told Gaara and Sakura and went to Suigetsu.

"I want you to meet someone. Do you know Pain?" he asked me. My eyes widened.

"You mean the real Pain?! The one that has recorded so many songs with you?!" I asked him in surprise.

"Yup, that one. Since he is someone we often cowork with, you should meet him." he told me. I started feeling nervous again.

"I don't know, he seems pretty scary and antisocial." I told him. He laughed.

"That's only for the media, since he doesn't like the reporters butting into his personal life. In reality, his personality is pretty similar to yours. With a few differences though..." he told me.

"Huh?" I said dumbfounded. That was unexpected...

"Hey, Pain!" Suigetsu said loudly. The man with the orange hair and piercings turned to us.

"Hey, man! Good to see you again!" he said and greeted him. I just stood there like a log.

"This is Naruto, our new member." he told him and showed me. I waved my hand nervously.

"Hey, Naruto. Nice to meet you. Let's get along and work hard." he told me and winked at me. I smiled and nodded. Suigetsu laughed.

"Don't be so nervous! We are all like a big family here. Relax." he told me.

"Easy for you to say. I still can't believe what is happening in my life." I told him. Both him and Pain laughed.

"Don't worry, it's only until the first concert. Then you'll feel perfect." Pain told me. I smiled at him. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all.

After a while I returned to Sakura and Gaara.

"Guys! You won't believe it! I met Pain!" I told them excited.

"Oh. My. God. You have to introduce him to me! I'm crazy about him!" Sakura told me.

"Why are you two so excited? It's only natural that from now on you'll meet famous people." Gaara said indiferent.

"But it's still so exciting! And don't act all cool, Gaara. I've seen how you act when you listen to his cds." I told him. He looked away.

"Whatever..." he muttered. Me and Sakura giggled. This guy was always so easy to read.

"Anyway, let's have lot's of fun today!" I told them with a huge smile.

"Yeah!" Sakura agreed and Gaara just smiled.

The rest of the night we talked about several stuff and laughed like we used to. I kept on telling them about things that had happened between me and Sasuke, though I kept the kissing part for myself. At some point Pain approached us.

"Hey, Naruto! Are these your friends?" he asked me. Sakura was about to faint.

"Yeah, this is Sakura and Gaara." I told him. Sakura was frozen so she didn't do anything and Gaara waved at him.

"Nice to meet you, you two." he said and smiled at them.

"N-n-n-nice to meet you, too! I'm a big fan!" Sakura managed to tell him. Pain chuckled.

"Well, thank you, Sakura." he told her. Sakura blushed and looked down.

"Say, when will your next cd come out?" Gaara asked him.

"Well, I still have a few recordings left to do, so in about... A month?" he told him. Gaara looked down and smiled. Looks like someone got happy. I couldn't help it, but laugh.

"Shut up, Naruto!" Gaara told me, blushing.

"Haha, you two are funny. I look forward to get to know you better." Pain told us.

"So, we'll have the chance to meet you again?" I asked him.

"Of course! We are very good friends with the rest of the guys, so you'll see me often." he told me.

"Awesome!" I said smiling. Something tells me that things are going to get even more interesting from now on.

After that Pain went to talk to some other people and I went to the toilet. Once I got out I saw Iruka looking around.

"Umm... Iruka?" I said and he jumped a bit.

"Naruto?! You scared me!" he told me.

"Yeah, yeah... What are you doing here?" I asked him. He hesitated a bit.

"Umm... I was with Kakashi, but he went to talk to someone and didn't come back... And now I don't know what to do..." he said pathetically. I sighed.

"You really are hopeless..." I muttered, but he didn't seem to hear me. At that point Kakashi returned.

"I brought us something to drink!" he said happilly. Iruka blushed.

"Y-you were late!... Thanks..." he said and took the glass Kakashi offered him. Nothing to do here anymore. I walked to were Gaara and Sakura were, but on my way I bumped into Sasuke.

"Sasuke!" I said without thinking. He looked at me. Silence.

"You better not vomit again here." he told me.

"I-I won't!" I told him angrily and left. Finally, I found my friends.

"What's wrong, Naruto? You seem upset." Sakura told me.

"That bastard, Sasuke! He always says mean things to me!" I told them.

"Well, that's not something new..." Gaara said indifferently.

"It's still annoying, though!" I said and crossed my hands. Will it always be like that?

Once the party was over, we returned to the dorms.

"Uhh... So tired..." I muttered and walked towards my room. Damn, I was so tired I couldn't even see in front of me. I went into the room and fell on the bed. It smelled nice and it was comfortable.

The next morning I woke up in someone's arms. I opened my eyes and saw a chest in front of me. I tilted my head a bit only to see Sasuke's sleeping face.

"Eh?" was all I said. So, for some reason I was in Sasuke's room and I had become Sasuke's private body pillow. I was about to say something to wake him up, but this was a chance of a lifetime, so I instead I snuggled more in his embrace.

An hour later he seemed to wake up. I pretended to be asleep.

"Hmm... What the-... Oh, right... What a stupid brat..." he muttered with his husky voice and hugged me even more tightly. Eh? Suddenly, I felt his hand stroking my head. Ehh?

"Mmhh... Feels good..." he muttered again. Ehhh!?

"Mmh... Sasuke?" I said, pretending to wake up.

"Decided to finally wake up?" he told me.

"Mh... How long have you been awake?" I asked him.

"About an hour." he lied.

"And why didn't you wake me up?" I asked him.

"It was the first time that you seemed quiet and peacefull... Why should I wake you up?" he told me. I arched an eyebrow.

"Ok..." I muttered and started standing up, but he pulled down again.

"What the-"

"Shut up... Just stay like that for a bit longer." he said and closed his eyes again. Ok, what the hell was going on?!

After a while he finally let me go. We went out of the bed and each went to his bathroom to get ready for breakfast. I went to the kitchen first.

"Good morning..." I muttered to Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo.

"Good morning! Did you have fun last night?" Karin asked me.

"Yeah, it was really fun." I told her smiling. They all looked at me dumbfounded.

"What?" I asked them.

"I thought you were a bit more shy than this, Naruto..." Suigetsu told me. Eh?

"So, tell us! Does that emotionless bastard changes his face when he's doing it?" Karin asked me. Eh?

"Karin! You are too bold!" Jugo told her.

"Wait... Wait! Just what are you talking about?" I asked them.

"Well, didn't you do it with Sasuke last night?" Suigetsu asked me. Ehhh?!

"Of course not, idiot! Like I would have done anything with a brat like him!" I suddenly heard Sasuke saying from behind me.

"Ohh... So, Naruto probably ment the party..." Karin said like she had solved world's greatest mistery.

"You all have such dirty minds." I said and started making a toast.

"Make me one, too." Sasuke told me.

"Huh? Do it on your own!" I told him, but the he shot me a glare, so I just made him a toast as well.

"Here." I said and gave him his toast.

"Thanks." he said and started eating it. Did he just say thanks?

"Looks like you two are getting along better." Jugo said.

"I guess so...?" I said kind of hesitantly. Well, it's true that Sasuke doesn't curse me that much lately. Suddenly, I got a message on my phone.

"Will you come to school today? -Gaara"

"Oh, right. I have to go to school." I said and started eating my toast quickly.

"Heh, goog luck with that." Suigetsu told me. I looked at him confused.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Well, you are one of us now." Karin explained. Oh... She had a point.

"Umm... I won't die, right?" I asked them. They all laughed.

"Let's hope so." Suigetsu said.

"Naruto~! Time to go to school~!" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around surprised.

"Iruka!? Why are you here?!" I asked him. He laughed nervously.

"Well... I got drunk and Kakashi brought me here." he said scratching his head.

"Oh... Umm... Ok." I said awkwardly.

"Oh, by the way. You! Sasuke! If I ever hear that you did something to my precious student I will slash you into pieces. He's still a high school student, he's too young for dirty things!" he told Sasuke. He, on the other hand, just stared at him like he was a crazy person.

"Let's just go to school, Iruka..." I told him and pushed him out of the kitchen.

"He said what?! Wow, Iruka has guts." Sakura said. We were at the cafeteria having lunch. Many students stared at me, but thankfully no one had yet made a big deal.

"I know, right? I've never seen Sasuke's face like that. He was completely dumbfounded." I said and we started laughing.

"But, seriously, what was Iruka doing there anyway?" Gaara asked.

"He said he was drunk and Kakashi brought him there, but I think there's more behind it." I told them and they both nodded.

"Better not find out more details." Sakura said. Once again we nodded. Knowing my teacher's love life... Now that's definitely not something I am interested in...

"Oh, by the way, I heard Pain will come in the afternoon to hang out. You guys wanna come?" I asked them.

"Ohh, you're kidding! We have cram school today!" Sakura whined dissapointed.

"Sorry, Sakura. You have. I'm going with Naruto." Gaara told her and smiled at me.

"Hehe... Ok, then." I said.

"Hmph... I'm going to ask Ino's comfort." Sakura said and left.

"She's angry." I said.

"She's very angry." Gaara said as well and we started laughing.

Once school was over we were walking towards the band's dorms.

"So, Naruto... I wanted to ask you... Are you still in love with Sasuke?" Gaara asked me.

"Yup, head over hills." I told him immidiately.

"Why? He doesn't treat you well." he told me. I thought about it.

"I don't know... It's just this something, you know? The more I get to know him, the more stuck I get." I told him. He sighed.

"You are so helpless..." he said. I chuckled.

"I guess I am." I told him. Finally, we reached the dorms and got inside.

"I'm home!" I said when we went to the living room.

"Welcome home, Naruto. Oh, you brought your friend. Hello." Kakashi said.

"Hi." Gaara muttered.

"What about your teacher?" he asked me excited. I stared at him.

"I won't be going and coming from school with my teacher." I said and went to my room, dragging Gaara with me. On the way we saw Sasuke.

"Hey, Sasuke." I told him. He didn't say anything. He was just glared at Gaara.

"Don't make it a habit bringing your boyfriend here." he told me and turned to leave.

"He's not my boyfriend!" I yelled at him, but he ignored me.

"What's his problem?" I muttered and went into my room. Gaara followed me.

"Think he's jealous of me?" he asked me.

"For what? We are not going out and he's not even interested in me! I really don't get him!" I said and sat on my bed.

"You never know..." he muttered and sat beside me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him. He looked at me.

"You never know who's in love with you." he told me.

"Nah... I don't think so. When someone is in love with you, he ought to show it to you." I said.

"Well, what about you? Do you show him that you love him?" he asked me.

"He doesn't let me!" I whined. Gaara chuckled. He must think I'm an idiot.

"Well, don't give up. I'm sure one day he'll understand your feelings." he told me.

"You think?" I asked him with hope in my voice.

"I'm sure of it." he said and ruffled my hair. I was so happy. My friend finally supported me.

"You are the best, Gaara!" I told him with a big smile and he smiled back at me. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Hey, Naruto, Pain is here." I heard Suigetsu saying behind the door.

"Okay!" I said and stood up. Gaara stood up as well and he seemed kind of excited.

"It's amazing seeing you like that..." I commented. He blushed.

"Shut up." he said and walked towards the door.

We went downstairs to the living room where Suigetsu and Pain were talking.

"Hey, guys!" I greeted them happily.

"Hey, Naruto!" Pain told me with a smile.

"Remember my friend, Gaara?" I asked him and moved aside to see him.

"Oh, hey! Of course I remember him. He's too cute to be forgotten." he said smiling.

"Eh?" both me and Gaara exclaimed.

"Ahahaha! Pain, you always like to tease people like that! Ahahahaha, look at their faces!" Suigetsu said while laughing, but Pain just kept on staring Gaara with a smirk. Ok, that's suspicious...

"Ahahaha, I've got to admit, you are the first one to ever say something like that. With this expresionless face of his most people call him scary instead of cute." I told him. I guess it would be better to just forget that for now.

"Really? He's so cute, though..." he said with the same face on.

"Aahahahaha, Pain stop it!" Suigetsu said again. Uhh... Sorry, Suigetsu, but you are so not convincing.

"What the hell is going on here? You are so noisy." I suddenly heard Sasuke saying. I turned around and saw him standing behind me with Karin and Jugo beside him.

"W-we are just having fun...I guess?" I said kind of unsure. Sasuke looked at Pain.

"Don't start harassing people again, Pain..." he told him. That was rude...

"I'm not harassing anyone..." Pain said carefreely.

"Yet..." Sasuke finished.

"Ok, I stayed way too long here. Having these two in the same room is intolerable..." Karin said and went back to her room.

"Cold as ever..." Pain commented. Why is everyone so rude today!?

"Umm... What did she mean exactly?" I asked clueless.

"You'll find out soon..." Jugo told me and patted me on the shoulder. I thought Sasuke shot him a glare, but he looked away immediately.

"Anyway, come here, sit down." Pain told us as if we were the guests. Gaara sat beside him. I was about to sit beside Gaara, but Sasuke shoved me further and sat between us.

"The hell...?" I heard Gaara muttering and saw Sasuke glaring at him.

"So... How long have you and Naruto been friends, Gaara?" Suigetsu suddenly asked, trying to break the ice.

"From elementary school. Naruto was being bullied and I protected him. So, we kind of stayed together till now." he told him.

"Makes sense..." Sasuke mumbled.

"What do you mean?" Gaara asked him a bit annoyed.

"Well, you two seem way too different to be together." he said. That again!

"You two are in a relationship?" Pain suddenly asked us with a worried look.

"No! For the thousandth time, we are not together, Sasuke! We are just best friends!" I told him.

"With benefits..." he said as if completing the sentence. Gaara mumlbed something, but I didn't hear him well.

"No! Arrghh!" I said and stood up annoyed. I went to my room and locked the door.

Pain's P.O.V.

I stared at the cute red haired boy beside me. He kept on looking at where he last saw Naruto's back. Looks like we've got a love triangle here.

"Look, Sasuke, you made him mad. Go apologise." I told him with a smirk.

"Shut up." he said. I chuckled.

"Don't tell me that he's the one you have decided to torment for now?" I told him, waiting for him to bite the bait.

"I said shut up." he bit it.

"Heeh... He's cute though. Poor soul..." I commented. He glared at me.

"What? Don't tell me that you are serious about him?" I asked him, but instead of answering he just left the room.

"There goes another one. You sure make things difficult when you do that." Suigetsu told me.

"I can't help it, it's fun." I said smirking.

"Sadist..." he said. I just chuckled and then turned to pay attention to the boy beside me, only to see him making a pretty scary face.

"What's wrong?" I asked him. He came out of his thoughts and looked at me surprised.

"Uhh... No, nothing..." he muttered.

"You're jealous?" I asked him. He stared at me.

"Is that a question or a statement?" he asked me.

"Hm... I guess both." I told him. He sighed.

"Am I too hopeless?" he muttered again. I patted his head.

"Don't worry. If you ever feel like you need to talk to someone you can come to me." I told him.

"Seriously?" he asked me with glittering eyes. I smiled at him. Another one who bit the bait.

"Of course... Let's exchange numbers." I told him. He happily took out his phone. From the corner of my eye, though, I could see Suigetsu making a face saying "There we go again..." and I just smiled.

So, here's the 7th chapter. Sorry, it took way too long, but there were things to settle. Anyway, I finally made Pain's appearance, though I think I made him a bit too bad from my original plan. Well, this can be fixed. So, I want opinions about if you like it how it's going. Also, I was thinking about adding Kurama as Naruto's brother from another father. An overprotective one, too.
