I'm Pregnant – Gray
Gray doesn't panic. He's good in controlling his expression. That's why he's an assassin. Even when he looks after Nightmare he's always in control.
But not when it comes to Lucian.
He freaked out when he saw her throwing up in the bathroom. He was checking up on her in their room to see how she was feeling, because she told him a few time changes ago that she wasn't feeling well.
Gray's instinct for always looking after Nightmare kicks in, making him act like a mother. Except he didn't really act like a mother.
"Don't worry, Lucian! I'll do something about this!" Gray said, running around the room with his hands on his head. "Uhh…..this one!" He runs to the open drawer and pulls out a clean white towel and runs back to Lucian who was kneeling down on the floor in the bathroom.
"Lucian!" He quickly kneels down next to her and carefully pulls her silver-white hair back with his one hand and the other wiping her sweated face. "Lucian, do you need water? No, you need medicine!" He looks around and was about to think of leaving the room, but thinking of leaving Lucian alone stops him.
There's no way he was going to leave his wife.
Oh, yeah. The two got married after Lucian decided to stay in Wonderland. Gray and Lucian have been together before she decided to stay in the world. He was happy because if he didn't convince Lucian in staying in Wonderland she would have left. When the vial was completely full, Nightmare told her that she can go home in the human world. Nightmare didn't know that Lucian knew about the secret of the vial.
The truth about the vial.
It was Lucian's uncle, Lucas, a Role Holder of both the White King and the door that connects Wonderland to human world, from her father's side that told her what the vial really is, and that she didn't have to rely in the vial to return home. She could have returned home from the beginning if she wanted to, but the Role Holders didn't tell her.
They couldn't. It was part of the rules in Wonderland. The secret of the vial is the number one rule that the Role Holders must keep quiet about from the outsiders. It has been kept quiet for many generations until now. Lucian wasn't supposed to know the truth and will never will, but her uncle Lucas decided that it was only right for her to know because it was her father who made that rule.
It was a sick rule that Leo made during his time as a Role Holder. Before he met Aria and the two Jokers, he was the most twisted being in Wonderland. He didn't care about the outsiders and what they think. He only cared about the entertainments the outsiders gave him. But his entertainment doesn't last long because the outsiders in the past were able to figure out how to get home before anyone of them could fall in love with one of the Role Holders.
Leo wasn't happy that his fun of watching the outsiders were leaving too fast. So he made the rule of keeping the truth about the vial a secret, and that no Role Holders are to talk about it to the new outsiders that will come in the future.
Those who did were immediately remove from their role and their heart-clock were crushed and burned by Leo himself. He doesn't take a liking to faceless people or even Role Holders breaking his rules.
The fear of being punish by Leo kept the previous Role Holders in their leash.
But now he's gone and the some of the rules have changed.
Anyways, back to where Lucian and Gray are.
At this time Gray was running down the long staircase while being careful not to trip with Lucian in his arms, who was yelling at him to let her down. She was fine enough to walk on her on, but Gray refuses to let her go after seeing her weak body in the bathroom. She wasn't feeling that weak, it was just Gray who was thinking that.
They were going to see a doctor in a hospital that's near the Clover Tower.
Gray curses under his breath. He should have taken the elevator instead of the staircase. It was endless.
"Gray…" Lucian's brows furrows as she looks at her husband. If he could just listen to her for a few seconds then he doesn't have to be like this. But his ears were plug with many unnecessary thoughts.
Lucian sigh and closes her eyes. Oh well, she can always tell him what she found out. She kept her pregnancy a secret from Gray.
She found out twenty-one changes ago by doing a pregnancy test. She was positive, and it was hard to keep a straight face whenever she's with Gray. She was waiting for the right time to tell him and was even thinking of making it a surprise, but he was always busy with his work and looking after Nightmare.
Now she doesn't have any problem with Gray being busy. She knew just how hard working he is. She knew this before she married him. Even though she sometime feels lonely, she doesn't tell him because she doesn't want to add more work for Gray.
But she sometime wishes that Gray could read her more. Yet he doesn't.
But she doesn't blame him because she loves him.

When they finally got to the hospital, Gray wasted no time in barging in the door, shouting for any doctor to come help his wife.
The good thing was that a female doctor that Lucian knew happens to be in the front desk. The female doctor was the one that took her pregnancy test.
When the doctor saw Lucian in Gray's arms, she raises her brows. "Lady Lucian?" She places down the wooden clip board down on the counter and walks over to the couple. Seeing as Lucian is being carried by Gray, the doctor thought that something bad has happen to her patient.
"Hello." Lucian smiles weakly, waving her left hand at the female doctor.
"You know my wife?!" Gray moves his golden eyes towards the blonde haired doctor. "Good. I need your help! My wife threw up in the bathroom and I don't know what's wrong with her!"
"Please calm down, Mr. Ringmarc." The doctor's blue eyes moves up to look at Gray. "Lady Lucian is fine, there is nothing for you to worry about."
Gray's pupil turns into vertical slits. "There's something wrong with my wife and you're telling me that's she's fine?" He takes a step forward towards the doctor who flinches at his sudden change of mood. What kind of doctor is this woman? Doesn't she see that Lucian is weak and in pain? Maybe he should kill her for being a useless doctor.
"Gray, calm down." Lucian raises her voice in a commanding tone.
The doctor nervously looks at Lucian. "Lady Lucian, you have not told your husband?" She could have sworn that Lucian would tell Gray after finding out her pregnancy. Lucian was so happy that day when the doctor told her that she was pregnant.
"Not yet." Lucian shakes her head. She was hoping though.
"What?" Gray blinks and his slit pupil returns back to normal. "Lucian, what's going on?" He looks down at her with a confuse look on his face. Here he was worrying about his wife, yet said wife is calm.
"Can we go to your office?" Lucian looks at the doctor. "It's better we all talk there." She moves her emerald eyes around the room to see most of the people looking at them. She doesn't need to make a scene for this.
The doctor nods her head. "Of course, Lady Lucian. Please follow me, Mr. Ringmarc." She needs to be careful of what she say to Gray for now on. She forgot for a moment that he is a great assassin but his eyes was able to remind her of where her place is when she talks to one of the Role Holders.
Gray silently follows behind the doctor and when he looks back down at Lucian, she was looking at him with a somewhat disappointed look. What did he do wrong? He was only worried about her.
Once they got inside the doctor's office, Gray carefully places Lucian down in the black sofa facing the doctor's desk. He sat down next to her.
The doctor sat on her chair and takes out a folder from one of the drawers. "Mr. Ringmarc." She pulls out a paper and hands it to Gray. "Lady Lucian came here twenty-one changes ago, and well…" She decided that it was only right for Lucian to tell Gray about her pregnancy by herself.
"Gray." Lucian turns her head to the side and faces Gray. "I was planning to give you a surprise after your work today. But it didn't turn out that way. Gray, I'm pregnant."
"…" Gray could only stare at Lucian, trying to process what she had just said. She said something about being pregnant. Maybe he didn't hear that right because he ask her to repeat herself again. "What?"
"Gray." Lucian smiles and take his right hand. "I'm pregnant. We're going to be parents."
There was a long silence in the room before Gray pulls his hand out of Lucian and stands up. He looks at the paper in his hand and there it was, a record of Lucian's pregnancy test. He places the paper down on sofa. "Excuse me." He bows his head and walks out of the office, shocking both the doctor and Lucian.
"Gray?" Lucian immediately stands up and was about to follow after Gray, but he slams the door quite hard that it stop her from moving. "!"
The confusion and the pain were clearly written all over Lucian's face as she stares at the white door. Was the news of her being pregnant too much for Gray to handle?
She didn't expect that kind of reaction from him at all. Was she the only who was delighted to have a child?
She was hurt.
She breathed shakily as she closes her mouth, tears welling up inside her eyes. She fell back on the sofa and buries her face in her hands.
The doctor quietly gets up from her seat and walks up to Lucian. She said nothing as she sat next to Lucian and rubs her back. She also didn't expect to see a reaction from Gray like that.
Maybe Gray doesn't really love her as much as she loves him.
~…You and I…~
The sky have change and the sun and was already setting in the horizon. Lucian was walking down the street alone with a depress look on her face. Gray never came back to get her. That was telling her something. She waited for him in the hospital for five hours, hoping to come back and explain why he left so suddenly.
He didn't came and that hurt her even more.
The doctor offered to bring her back home, but Lucian told her that she wishes to return home by herself. She didn't want to return to the Clover Tower, but that was her home now. Her heart grew heavy just thinking of what to say to Gray if she sees him.
She drags her feet back to the Clover Tower. Every steps she takes adds up to the pain in her chest.
She took her time.
She got home and it was already dark, but thanks to the light posts in the street, she was able to get home safely and see what was in the entrance of the Clover Tower.
But she never expected to see what was in front of her. She couldn't speak as she stares at the Clock Tower's entrance fully decorated with colorful flowers and decorations of hearts and crystals. There was also a banner hanging that says "I'm Sorry"
Waiting for her outside was Gray, holding a bouquet of red roses with tiny water drops spreading throughout the entire roses. When he saw Lucian standing a few yards away from him he runs to her.
"Lucian!"
"…" Lucian removes her eyes off of the banner and looks at Gray. "Gr-"Her eyes slowly widens as she was engulf in an embrace.
"I'm sorry." Gray said. "I'm sorry. Please don't hate me and please don't leave me."
"…Gray…"
Gray pulls away raises his hands up with the bouquet. "Lucian, I am truly sorry. I wasn't a good husband."
"…" Lucian looks at the bouquet of roses before taking it from Gray's hands. They were very beautiful. "What is this for?" She ask.
"After you told me that you're pregnant with our child, I felt like an ass. When the doctor told me that you went to her twenty-one changes ago, I felt horrible for not noticing it that day. I know you told me that you went somewhere, but I never thought that you went to a hospital. As your husband, it's my job to know what's wrong, yet I didn't because I'm always busy with my work. I'm sorry, Lucian. I didn't mean to ignore you between those times. You know I love you." He takes her hands and kisses them.
"Gray." The pain in her chest slowly disappears after hearing Gray's sincere words.
"And I'm sorry for not coming back to the hospital. I was scared of what you'll think after I left you there."
"…did you do all this?" Lucian ask, looking at the Clover Tower.
"Yes. I know this isn't enough to forgive me for leaving you there, but I'll do anything you tell me."
"No." Lucian shakes her head and wipes the tears off her face.
"No?"
No? What does she mean by that? No as in she doesn't forgive him?
Gray wanted to cry, already thinking of what will happen between them. He loves her. He really does.
He can't live without her. He'd rather kill himself than not have Lucian by his side.
In fact, he will do that if she divorces him tonight.
"I thought you didn't love me and that's why you left me in the hospital!" She drops the bouquet of roses and hugs Gray, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Gray, you idiot!"
"!" Gray felt his heart breaking. He made his wife cry. That's a worst thing he could ever do to Lucian. And even after he promised Black and White that he won't make her cry in their wedding day.
"I'm so sorry."
Well, at least he knows that she wasn't going to leave him. That's good.
At that moment, cheers and confetti's were being thrown at the two.
"!" Gray looks up and see Nightmare leaning outside of the window in the third stories of the Clover Tower throwing white confetti's. Around them were the workers, clapping and cheering. He doesn't know how they appeared around them.
"Gray, you're lucky I didn't call both the Jokers here!" Nightmare shouted. "Or else they have already cut your head off!"
Nightmare found out about Lucian's pregnancy today after Gray returned home alone from the hospital. Gray told him that he left her in the hospital without saying anything. Nightmare asked him why he left and Gray said that he was ashamed of not knowing her pregnancy before. However, Nightmare told him that he was even more horrible for leaving Lucian alone because it can give her a wrong idea.
So Nightmare commanded Gray to do something for Lucian once she gets home. It was worth waiting for seven hours because he got to see the two together and work out their misunderstanding.
Ignoring the shouting and the cheering, Gray looks back at Lucian. "I promise to spend more time with you for now on." He said and wipes the tears off her cheek. "If you want me to stay or just be with you for a whole day, tell me and I'll stop all my work. Just tell me and I'll do it."
"Thank you." Lucian smiles happily even though her tears hasn't stop yet. "Stay with me tonight. Hold me in your arms and don't leave me no matter what." She can finally be a little selfish. She can finally have Gray all for herself. Even if it's only for tonight, it was enough for her.
"I will." Gray closes the small distance between them and their lips touches. He wanted to show just how much he loves her so he deepens their kiss. He didn't care if there were audience because right now, all he cares about is Lucian.
"Gray! I'll let you have as many vacation as you want!" Nightmare shouted out loud for his voice to be heard from the loud cheering of his workers. This can be something good for him. With Gray having a vacation, he doesn't have to be bothered about having to go to a hospital. "I can take care of myself just fine!….Hm, I don't think he can hear me from up here."
True enough, whatever Nightmare shouted have been block by the cheering of the workers.
