"Wait! What do you mean i'm not coming?!" Apryl raised her voice at Enrico, Enrico the Bravos team caption, he had brown hair that just touched his ears in length and a moustache. he wore a white T-shirt with the S.T.A.R.S logo on the side of each sleeve and a brown vest over the top.
"You and officer Inserra from Alpha team, will be working together for new leads in the cannibal attacks" Enrico replied
Officer Joshua Inserra, he had come from the same high school Apryl had and both had graduated at the same time, along with being accepted into S.T.A.R.S, he would never wear the started uniform but altered it to his liking, he always wore a rasta beanie or cap or whatever it was called. His pale white T-shirt with the S.T.A.R.S logo on the left chest side of the shirt and on the sleeves. he was always wearing different pants, most of the time a different type of tracksuit pants and in different colours, very rarely did he wear jeans, the only time she saw him wear jeans was when he was interviewing a girl named Shauna about one of the cannibal attacks, he was trying to impress her, she never gave in, even during high school, his dating or seeing her younger sister Tori, which is strange and out of the blue, Tori had basically latched onto him and he was stupid enough to fall for it, how he made it on the team still head fucked her.
Apryl snap out of it, it cant be that bad, he made it on the team for a reason, there must be a reason why they are paring you to up on a side mission
"Why? Whats the point?"
She started at Enrico hoping for a good answer but she doubted it be a good enough answer.
"Because we need more officers in the streets of this city, Alpha team are on call just incase we need backup and we got a report of a similar attack just outside raccoon city east exit" Enrico informed her
"i also have to inform you, that both you and Officer Inserra will be getting transferred back to Australia and will lead a S.T.A.R.S team down there" Enrico continued
Apryl looked at Enrico, the look of shock and relief flooded her face. Apryl liked Raccoon City and her job at S.T.A.R.S, but she was getting homesick, herself, Josh, Shauna and a couple of others came from Australia 2 years ago to finish schooling and get into the professions they wanted easier in Raccoon City.
A transfer back home would be nice, i mean they have 2 S.T.A.R.S teams here and home could defiantly use a team down under.
Apryl nodded and walked out the door, closing it behind her. She reached into her pocket, pulling out her phone and dialling Joshs number, the phone rang twice before he picked up
"Hey, we have to check out east exit of Raccoon city and we need to chat, i'm picking you up now" Apryl hung up not giving Josh anytime to reply.
She walked into the locker room, opened her locker, which was pretty much empty. She pulled out her bag and left for Joshs.

Josh was sitting at the table in deep thought, Tori had left an hour ago to see her sister and she still wasn't back but Josh was trying to wrap his mind around, Bree saying her ex was trying to kill, top secret documents that Tori had, his mind was in overdrive
how can Bree say he ex is trying to kill her, when he is back in Australia? And what's Tori not telling me? Secret documents? For what? From Who?
The doorbell rang and Josh ignored it, still wondering if he is just overthinking now.
Tori isn't back yet, she said she was going to be there for half an hour and its been an hour, maybe she is meeting up with someone who knows about whatever is in the top secret documents? no i'm overthinking!
The doorbell rang again and Josh snapped out of his deep thought and walked over to the door, opening it and seeing Apryl in her S.T.A.R.S uniform.
Josh use to be close to Apryl back in year 9, they even had a crush on each other but it never went further, Apryl was a princess bitch in Joshes eyes, she always used her looks to get what she wanted, which made Josh hate her the extra bit more. Apryl had long black hair and had a darker skin tone than Josh, she always wore a pink shirt under the green S.T.A.R.S jacket and the normal green cargo pants. she once argued with Captain Wesker to wear tight short jean shorts on duty and we all knew what the answer to that would be.
"Jump in the car and we can chat on the way there okay?" Apryl said turning around and headed for the car.
Josh was glad he hadn't changed and showered yet as he walked out the door and jogged to Apryl's silver car, Josh didn't know his cars, he only called them by the colours, he opened the passenger side door and jumped in, clipping his seat belt in and looking at Apryl.
"so whats the mission and what do you need to talk about"
Apryl slid her keys into the ignition, turning them and starting up the cars engine.
"give me a second" Apryl replies looking out her rear view mirror and reverses out the drive way onto the street.
Apryl begins to drive through the streets of the Raccoon City suburb and begins to fill Josh in.
"so apparently another cannibal attack just outside Raccoon City"
"Another one?" Josh said not surprised but still shocked by the news. Josh had read reports and news articles about the attacks hitting Raccoon City, he hadn't directly investigated one on the other hand, the only thing he knew was there was human & wild animal bite marks on the victims along with missing skin and organs
geez, why do i have the feeling i'm about to see a victim up close and personal
"we are also being relocated" Apryl informed as she concentrated on the road
Josh glanced over to her in shock, trying to understand what she had just informed him.
Relocated? why? where? are we not doing a good enough job?
"why?" Josh asked confused and trying to understand why they would relocate them
Apryl looked over at him for a split second before putting her eyes on the road, she knew the look he had as she had the same look when Enrico told her.
"They seem to be branching S.T.A.R.S. out to Australia and want us to lead the teams" Apryl replied coming to a stop, Josh glanced up to see that they had stopped at red light on the main road only minutes away from the east exit of Raccoon City. Apyrl looked at him with a concerned look, she knew they were new to this and could see Josh trying to process all the information she had told him, she said the only thing she could say at the time.
"We will be fine"
but the sound of her voice and her inner self, didn't believe it for a second.
