Josh and Shauna ran over to Brendan and both joined him in holding their guns up at whatever was about to come around the corner.
Running out from around the corner came a man dressed in a military type clothing.
"Oh shit" The soldier mutters to himself
Josh lowers his gun but Brendan shakes his head and Josh points it back up at him.
"So Nikolai, how does it feel to be ambushed" Brendan remarks with a smile
"feels like home" He says smiling back, his smile doesn't last long as he looks past the 3 of them, they all turn to look at what Nikolai was looking at.
Behind them stood 8 people, Tori and Kira in the group. Shauna runs over to them and hugs them as Josh and Brendan look back at Nikolai, who had taken the chance to escape through the distraction.
"Who the fuck was that?"
"Umbrella Scum" Brendan replied as they turn and join Shauna in seeing Kira and Tori again.
Shauna was crying happy tears in seeing her sisters again and they were all smiling, which made Josh smile the fact that they were all back together except for Apryl, Josh wondered where she was, Brendan grabbed her when the shit had hit the fan in the same street that they were standing in.
"Brendan, where is Apryl?"
The girls stopped their chatter, as it was probably a question on all there minds.
"She didn't make it" Brendan regretfully answers
A wave of silence hit them all, even the 6 military looking soldiers that came with Tori and Kira were sadden by the news, Josh got the feeling they were here to help, not to kill innocent people and cover Umbrellas tracks.
Josh turned to them sizing them all up, one looked really pale, like a ghostly white colour. Brendan noticed it as well shaking his head in sadness
"When were you bitten?" Brendan asked the African American man on their team.
before he could answer, a man answers for him, possible the team leader of the group.
"about an hour ago, at the train yard" He answers
"Did Apryl turn?" Josh asks Brendan
"Yeah but it wasn't for a couple of hours" He replies
"alright we better get out of here"
Josh begins to walk towards Raccoon City Park before Kira interrupts
"we have a way out but it wont be here till tomorrow morning" She informs them.
The group is stunned, Josh stands there shocked. A way out? one more horrible night in this city and then rescued? how? why? who? The last time they thought they would be rescued, a helicopter got blown to bits, they got ambushed by the attackers and then got attacked by the monster which claimed the life of one of them.
"How? Who?" Josh asks
Kira smiles and looks around at everyone who is waiting for her answer.
"Josh, Your dad is coming to get us"
Joshes dad was coming to get them out of the nightmare once and for all, all they had to do was survive one more night but Shauna had this gut feeling it will be the hardest night of there lives. They had a creature coming after them, a 6 man team after them and then the rest of Umbrellas creature to contend with. The thought of her meeting Joshes dad in a situation like this.

Shauna looked at Josh whose face was in shock, the thoughts that could possible going through his mind but the one thought going through her mind was getting the fuck out of the city.
"Where do we meet him?" Josh asks trying to process everything
"Train yard actually, Dee-Ay and his team should know the way there, so i say we leave now so we just wait it out there" Kira says with a smile
"Alright, Dee-Ay can fill us in on why their hear and how their stay in Raccoon City has been" Josh smirks as they begin to head through the gates and towards the Train yard.
Vector stands around the table as Lupo tries to figure a way to corner the remaining members of the RPD and the survivors with them.
Fucking hell she is stupid, how did she even become leader of this team? Her ideas are stupid and the fact that Umbrella left us here to die, just to come back to us and give us a second chance mission? No! Fuck them
Vector looks at Spectre who is shaking his head at everything, if they find the survivors thy can turn the tables of the other 4 members of their team. Their to invested in their job and greed for money, that they cant see what Umbrellas has done and will continue to do if they get away with this.
Give her a plan, once you get there, try and reason with her and the rest of the team about Umbrella and how they should be working with the remaining RPD Officers and survivors.
"here is what i think, we surround them. They will have no where to go and no way out, we reason with them, give them hope of survival and them bam! execute them, wait for rescue and get the fuck out of this shit hole"
Lupo nods her head in agreement and looks around at her team.
"Its time to get out of this place and collect our pay checks" Lupo says
They grab their stuff and head off to the train yard, their escape was finally closer.
